Hey everyone. Here is another story from Adventure Time. This time it's from the original timeline. My OC is a white dragon named Zyro. He is the adopted brother of Finn and Jake. He is based on Spyro the Dragon specifically the version from The Legend of Spyro video game series. He is also voiced by Elijah Wood.
Slumber Party Panic
Outside of the Candy Kingdom, a yellow dog named Jake was chasing after a rainbow unicorn named Lady Rainicorn who was flying in the air.
"Yeah, you think you're pretty way up there but I can get you!" Jake said as he stretches up while still chasing his girlfriend
"나 잡아봐봐 (Catch me if you can)" Lady Rainicorn replied
Down at a cemetery were three individuals. One of them was a human boy wearing a blue shirt, blue pants, and black shoes. This was Finn. The second was a tall bubblegum girl with long hair wearing a lab coat. This is Princess Bubblegum. And finally, the last one is a small white dragon with light blue horns on his head, light blue colored wings, and small blue spines reaching from his back to his tail. He also has four clawed toes on each of his four feet. His height nearly reaches up to Finn's hip. His name is Zyro. As an infant dragon, Zyro became the adopted brother of Finn and Jake. Together they had went on several adventures throughout the Land of Ooo. They were at a table with different chemicals. They were wearing goggles as the bubblegum princess was working
"Alright. Let me just add three more drops of explosive diarrhea." she said as she pour the explosive diarrhea into a vial causing it to explode into a skull shape
"Oooo" they said
"Hey Princess Bubblegum, when we bring the dead back to life, will it be filled with worms?" Finn asked
"No. If my decorpsinator serum works, all the dead Candy People will look as young and healthy as you do." Princess Bubblegum explained
Finn responds by making a Tarzan yell and beating his chest
"Not to question your genius, Bubblegum" Zyro said "But are you sure this decorpsinator serum of yours is gonna work? I really don't think raising the dead is such a good idea"
"Oh Zyro. You worry too much" Princess Bubblegum said "Trust me. This will work."
"If you say so" Zyro said as he backed up a bit
"Pick up that platter, tough guy" Bubblegum instructed to Finn
Finn picks up a serving platter and opens the lid to reveal a corpse of a Candy person
"Old Mr. Cream Puff?" the human boy asked
"We used to date" Princess Bubblegum giggled
"I'm guessing you broke up with him because he got too old?" Zyro assumed
The bubblegum princess nod her head. She then injects the corpse with the serum. The corpse begin to glow while fizzling with the serum.
"Something's happening! Come on, come on..." Finn said
"Work" Princess Bubblegum added
Zyro only gulped as he feels that something is wrong. The corpse of Mr. Cream Puff then rose up as a zombie and begins to moan
"Algebraic!" Finn exclaimed
"I wouldn't celebrate if I were you, bro" Zyro told him as he removed his goggles
"Why?" Finn asked
"Zyro is right" Princess Bubblegum gasped "Something's wrong"
"Sugar!" the Candy zombie yelled as he spits out the serum from it's eyes and mouth
"Ew!" the trio yelled in disgust
The zombie then leaps off the table and into a large test tube which fills it with serum. It then falls over and infects entire cemetery as all the Candy People rise from the grave.
"Hey, look, the decorpsinator serum is working!" Finn said
"Oh really? Then why do the Candy People look like that?" Zyro asked as he observes the zombies
"This is wrong. They're not coming back to life-they're still dead! The decorpsinator serum-it's incomplete!" Princess Bubblegum yelled
As she said this, Bubblegum rubbed her hand on a zombie heart shaped candy person
"Rah. Must eat sugar!" it yelled
"Your grounded, mister!" Finn yelled as he pushed it back in the hole
"Oh, this is really bad. They're going to be attracted to the Candy Kingdom!" Princess Bubblegum said with worry
"Why?" Finn asked cluelessly
"Because the Candy People are made of sugar, ya ding dong!" Bubblegum yelled
"It's true, bro" Zyro said as he bashed away a Candy Zombie that just came at him
"Give me some sugar, baby" the undead Mr. Cream Puff said as it latched onto Bubblegum
"Chew on this!" Finn yelled as he kicked him away
"Good one, Finn." giggled Bubblegum before racing out of the cemetery "Quickly, to the kingdom!"
"Come on, Zyro!" Finn yelled as he follows after the princess
"Right behind you!" Zyro said as he runs after Finn
But just as the white dragon started to run, a few more Candy Zombies blocked his way
"Sugar" they moaned
"Out of my way!" Zyro yelled
Just as the candy zombies attempt to attack him, Zyro performed a few combat attacks against them which knocks them down. The dragon then spread out his wings and flew away
'I could use my fire breath, but I don't think Princess Bubblegum would like that' Zyro thought as he flew towards the Candy Kingdom
After Zyro met up with Finn at the Candy Kingdom, Princess Bubblegum rang a bell from atop her castle
"All citizens of the Candy Kingdom! Report to the palace, immediately!" she announced
All the Candy People mumbled in confusion as they head to the palace
"Whoa" Jake said as he and Lady Rainicorn head to the palace also.
Princess Bubblegum sees the zombie candy people from her view
"Hurry, sweet citizens." she said in a worried tone
Down below, Finn and Zyro were escorting the candy people to the palace
"Alright, you heard the princess, everyone in!" Finn said
"Form a single line!" Zyro added "No pushing or shoving"
"Dudes, what's up?" Jake asked as he and Lady Rainicorn approach the doorway
"All will be explained once everyone's inside, Jake" Zyro responded
As Jake and his girlfriend head inside, Finn looks to see a green elephant slowly coming over the doorway
"Tree Trunks, get those hot buns in here, girl." he called
"Oh, I hope it's not bad news." the elephant said as she was carrying some hot buns
Zyro runs behind her
"Come on. In you go" he said as he pushes her inside
"Whoa! Take it easy, Zyro" Tree Trunks said she walked in the palace
Once everyone was inside, Finn and Princess Bubblegum shuts the door
"Did we get everyone?" Finn asked
"All present and accounted for." a talking piñata hanging from a string answered
"Thank you, Manfried" Zyro said
"You're welcome" Manfried replied
"Citizens, we are assembled here in the candy foyer for a momentous announcement." Princess Bubblegum announced "Tonight we are all going to have... a slumber party!"
"What!?" Finn and Zyro yelled
The Candy People cheered at the announcement
"Wait! What about the zom-?! Finn said before Princess Bubblegum put a hand over his mouth
"Go ahead and start partying." she said
This earned her more cheers from the candy people
"I hate to interrupt, princess" Zyro said "But shouldn't they be concerned about the..."
Princess Bubblegum placed her other hand over Zyro's snout
"We'll be right back, everyone." she said
She then carried Finn and Zyro inside a room and close the door. She then sets them down
"Alright, Bubblegum. What's this all about?" Zyro asked annoyance
"Guys, the Candy People can't know about the zombies." Princess Bubblegum said
"Wha?!" Finn and Zyro yelled
"If they knew, they would flip out." Princess Bubblegum said
"What do you mean "flip out"?" Finn asked
"I mean they would flip out." Princess Bubblegum said
"And how exactly do the Candy People "flip out"?" Zyro asked curiously
Back in the cemetery, a living candy ball named Starchie walked in with a shovel
"Princess? It's me, Starchy the gravedigger. I brought you a larger corpse shovel. Oh, Princess? Well, I'll just wait for you here, then. By the mausoleum. With my back turned. And my defenses lowered." he said
But just as he said that, a Candy zombie came out from inside a mausoleum. It came up from behind Starchie. Starchie looks to see the zombie
"Suuuugaaaar" it moaned
Starchie screamed and gasped. He screamed some more until he explodes
Back in Princess Bubblegum's lab,
"Oh. That's how" Zyro said
"Candy People explode when they get scared?!" Finn yelled
"Not telling the Candy People about the zombies is so important that you need to promise, Royal Promise, not to let anyone find out about the zombies, ever." Princess Bubblegum said urgently
"Okay, sure." Finn said
"No, Finn. You have to Royal Promise." Princess Bubblegum commanded "You too, Zyro"
"Yes. I royal promise" Finn said as kneeled down
"I royal promise too" Zyro added with a bow
"Now I must cloister myself in the lab and finish the equation to my decorpsinator serum. You keep the candy folk distracted and ignorant. Can you both do that?" the princess asked
"Yes, your highness" Finn answered
"What he said" Zyro added
"Good. Don't tell anyone about the zombies. Never ever." Princess Bubblegum instructed as she goes in another door and close the door
"No, wait. Can I at least tell Jake?" Finn asked
As he asked that, Jake enters the room
"Tell me about what, dude?" he asked
"You know, about the outbreak of zom-" Finn began
Zyro hits him in the side
"Ow!" Finn said before turning to Zyro
The white dragon shook his head and gestures him to not to tell him. Finn nods his head at this
"Alright, what's going on?" Jake asked
"Uhh, nothing at all, buddy!" Finn said while nervously "Right, Zyro?"
"Yep. Everything's fine, Jake. No need to worry" Zyro said
They then came out of the room and into the foyer
"Hey, dude. I think you, Zyro and Bubblegum are up to something." Jake said
"Ahha ah, what? No, no way." Finn said nervously
"Whoa, you guys are up to something. Is it some sort of prank? Can I get in on it?" Jake asked
"Uhhh. About that..." Zyro began before Finn said something
"Who wants to play "Truth or Dare"?" he asked
This caused Zyro to breathe a sigh of relief. A few party-goers, Finn, Jake, and Zyro said in a circle
"Hmmm" Jake hummed
"Ok, Chocoberry, you may ask someone to tell a deep truth or a saucy dare." Finn said
"Mr. Cupcake, truth or dare?" Chocoberry asked Mr. Cupcake
"Dare" Mr. Cupcake answered
"I dare you to take off your wrapper." Chocoberry dared
This earned an "Oooh" from everyone. Jake then shouldered Finn
"Hey seriously, man. I'm your bro. Bros are supposed to tell bros everything all the time. What are you two and Bubblegum up to? Is everything alright?" he asked
"As a matter of fact, Jake. Everything's all good" Zyro replied nervously
"Yep! Fine! Everything is great! Heh, heh" Finn added before noticing something and cringing "Except for that. Whoa."
They look to see that Mr. Cupcake had just taken off his wrapper to reveal his body
"Oh my gosh!" Zyro said as he covers his face with his wings
"I didn't know he was chocolate." Peppermint Butler said
"Jake, truth or dare?" Mr. Cupcake asked the dog
"Truth" Jake answered
"Do you prefer chocolate or fudge?" Mr. Cupcake asked
" I can't eat chocolate or fudge 'cause I'm a dog and they'd probably kill me, but hmmmmm probably... neither." Jake answered before turning to Finn. "Finn! Truth or dare?"
"Dare! Haha!" Finn said
"I dare you... to tell me the truth about what's going on in your mind. What were you, Zyro, and Bubblegum talking about when you were alone together?" Jake questioned
This earned an "Oooh!" from the candy people.
Finn became nervous.
"Umm, ahh, the truth is, ahhh..." Finn said before looking at Zyro
The white dragon shook his head. Finn then looks at Jake and visualizes Princess Bubblegum on the dog's face
"You promised you wouldn't freakin' tell anyone! Oh, you're so cute, Finn." the hallucination
"Ahhh... the truth is... that I'd rather play Dodge Socks!" Finn said as he throws a sock in Jake's nose
"I'm not playing dodge socks 'til you stop dodging my questions. Hey" Jake said as he sniffs the sock "Old Mr. Cream Puff? Isn't he dead?"
"Hey, give me my sock back! Dodge Socks was a bad idea!" Finn yelled as he tries to grab it back only for Jake to push him back
"Whoa. Look dude, just tell me what's up, 'cause you are crazier than a cannonball tonight." the dog said
Finn looks out the windows and sees the zombies approaching
'Oh, my goodness! Princess hasn't finished the equation and the zombies are here!' he thought before speaking to Jake "I, uh, she just want this slumber party to be super fun, and if I did have something to tell you, then I would in a second, and it would make my life easier, unless there was something stopping me, like a promise, but there isn't, so I won't, so it's cool."
Then a zombie appeared at the window. Zyro gasped and flies over. He then quickly closes it
"Wow. The wind sure is mighty strong" the white dragon muttered
Finn smiled gratefully at him
"You both lost me" Jake said
"Umm... Hey, you know what time it is?" Finn asked
"Adventure time?" Jake guessed
"No, time for Seven Minutes in Heaven! You're first." Finn said
Zyro then went over to the Rainicorn
"You too, Lady Rainicorn. In the closet with your boyfriend" he said
"뭐? 나? 웃겨 정말. 그래, 좋아. 하자. ("What? Me? You gotta be kidding me. Okay, then. I'll play.")" Lady Rainicorn replied as she and Jake got inside the closet
"Okay, okay, alright." Jake said as Zyro shuts the door " But in seven minutes, I'm gonna come out and make you both spill your beans."
"What was that? I didn't quite catch that" Zyro said as he pretends to not hear
"Yeah. I can't hear you all the way in heaven!" Finn said as he and his dragon friend went over to the window and opens the shutter
They see the zombies approaching and moaning "Sugar". They then reach the door and begin to bang on it.
"This is bad, Finn. They're trying to break in" whispered Zyro
The banging on the door was heard by a Candy person named Chet
"Umm, does anyone else hear that?" he asked
"What? Hear what? I, I don't hear anything. Do you Zyro?" Finn asked
"Nope. Not a thing" Zyro said
The Candy People all began to murmur as they too heard the banging
"I hear something I don't understand... and it makes me scared!" Chet said as he begins to shake
"What? No, Chet. Everybody, wait. What noise?" Finn said
"Oh you mean this noise" Zyro said as he turned on a nearby radio
"Oh" Chet said with a laugh
All the Candy People begin to dance to the music
"Yeah! Dance it! Bust it up! Uh! Uh! Uh! Oh!" Finn said as he dances
"Party hard everyone!" Zyro added as he bops to the beat
Just then, a zombie opens the door on the other side. Finn and Zyro gasp at this. The white dragon and human boy picked up a bench. They then pressed it against the door. Finn then gets out a hammer and begins to hammer the table to the door.
"What is this game you are playing at now, Finn, Zyro?" asked Chocoberry
"Uh, it's Blockado" Finn said " Haha, the game of barricades. Come on, let's block all the entrances and windows!"
The Candy People cheered as they grabbed some furniture and begins to put it against the windows. Zyro flew around the room while shutting the windows so that the Candy People can block it. The white dragon then flew next to Finn
"That should hold them for now" Zyro said
"But not for long" Finn replied "This is not a permanent solution. Think Finn, how can you and Zyro keep everyone from finding out?"
"Finding out about what, Finn?" Manfried asked
Finn and Zyro looked up to see Manfried
"Oh Manfried. We forgot you were still there" Zyro said
"Wait a minute. Manfried, the talking piñata! Your convenient appearance gives me a great idea. Everyone, grab a stick! New game! We're gonna smash some piñatas!" Finn exclaimed as he detached a leg from the table
"What?!" Manfried yelled in shock
"Not you, Manfried" Zyro assured
"Oh. Thank goodness" the talking piñata said in relief
The human boy and white dragon then takes some strips from a taffy girl
"Now everybody don these blindfolds. Thanks, Taffy Girl" Finn whisphered
They then put them on all the Candy people's eyes as they got out some sticks. Finn and Zyro then got into a fighting stance as they got in the middle of the Candy people to prepare for the zombies
"Alright, everybody, get together. We're hanging the piñatas" Finn said as he held his stick "Ready to do this, Zyro?"
"Bring em on" Zyro replied
Then the zombies smashe through the barricades
"They're all around you. Smash the piñatas!" Finn yelled
Finn, Zyro, and the Candy People then began to smash the zombies with their sticks. Zyro just used some melee combat to knock the zombies down.
"Nice work, guys" Zyro said after knocking a zombie down
"Yeah! You guys are on fire!" Finn added
Chococberry stabbed a candy zombie with her stick causing some candy to come out of it's gut. She then taste the inside
"Oh, it is so tasty." she said
Soon all the other Candy People were eating the candy from the zombies they had unknowingly smashed
"Candy People eating Candy People? Now that's just messed up" Zyro said
"But hey. We did it. My improbable plan worked!" Finn said proudly
Jake and Lady Rainicorn then came out of the closet
"Whew" the dog said
"안녕! ("Hello!")" Lady Rainicorn said
"Is seven minutes up yet?" Jake asked as he ate a jelly doughnut. He then noticed the zombies "Whoa!"
Jake ran up to his brothers
"What the nuts happened here?!" he asked
" Oh, we killed all the zombies that Princess Bubblegum and I raised from the dead." Finn answered
"Really?!" Jake asked
"Finn! Oyal-ray Romise-pay!" Zyro shouted in Pig-Latin
"Oops" Finn said as he realized his blunder
Suddenly time froze around Finn and Zyro.
"Oh no" Zyro said
"What's going on?" Finn asked
Princess Bubblegum came in
"What? Huh? Oh, Finn! Zyro! Did you guys break your Royal Promise?" she asked
"He did it. Not me" Zyro said as he points at Finn
"Yeah, but, I mean, all the zombies are dead. The Candy People won't freak out. What's the big deal?" Finn asked
"This is really, really bad, Finn. You can't break Royal Promises. Never, ever, never. No matter what, forever." Princess Bubblegum replied as the room begin to shake
"Now what's happening?!" Zyro asked
"The Guardians of the Royal Promise are coming for us." Princess Bubblegum answered
"I'm guessing they punish those who break royal promises. Correct?" the white dragon asked
The bubblegum princess nods her head. Just then, a hand bursts from the ceiling and grabs Finn, PB, and Zyro.
"Whoa!" they cried as they get pulled outside and meeting face to face with a Gumball Guardian
"Finn the Human. You have broken a Royal Promise for which the penalty is trial by fire." the Gumball Guardian said
Another Gumball Guardian breathes fire
"That's stupid" Finn said
"Hold on a second. He didn't mean to break a royal promise" Zyro said
"The dragon is correct. He's our friend! Isn't there another option?!" Princess Bubblegum pleaded
"Yes. Because you care for the promise-breaker, we will give him a less hot trial. You must now answer..." the Gumball Guardian began
"Math questions" the second Gumball Guardian finished
"Mathematical!" Finn exclaimed
"Finn, you're terrible at math" Princess Bubblegum said
"Awww" Finn whined
"Now solve this!" The Guardia said
The second guardian shows a hologram of an overly complicated math equation
"Uhhh" Finn said confused as he attempts to figure
"That's a little complicated. Don't you think?" Zyro asked
"Oh, wait, wait, I thought of a better one." the second Gumball Guardian said as it showed another screen that shows 2+2
"Yes! Two plus two. Solve it or die." threatened the first Gumball Guardian
"Uhh. Four, right?" Finn guessed
The Gumball Guardians laughed at the correct answer
"Oh, correct." the Gumball Guardian said as their heads explodes
Then time begins to rewind as night becomes day, the second Guardian's head comes back and he talks backwards and goes back to sitting and blowing bubbles around the Candy Kingdom
"What's happening now?" Zyro asked
"Finn defeated the broken royal promise! The Gumball Guardians are resetting!" Princess Bubblegum explained
As time resets, the trio then got teleported back to PB's lab
"Slamacow! That was tops! Who's not good at math? I was all 'Four!'" Finn exclaimed
" Four, four... Four, four, four... That's it! The answer was so simple, I was too smart to see it!" Princess Bubblegum realized
"You're welcome!" Finn exclaimed
"Why didn't we think of that?" Zyro asked
"'4' is the last figure I need to perfect my decorpsinator serum." the bubblgum princess said as she wrote the number on the chalkboard
After perfecting the serum, the trio raced out into the foyer where the beat up zombies were. Bubblegum poured a drop of the serum on the zombie and it was the picture of good health.
"Golly" the revived Candy person said
Finn and Zyro then assisted the princess in pouring the decorpsinator serum on the rest of the zombies which restores them to life.
"Woohoo! Yeah!" Finn cheered
"This is messed up, but sweet" Jake said as he watched this
"진짜로. ("Truly it is.")" Lady Rainicorn added
PB, Finn, and Zyro continue to revive the zombied candy people
"Uncle Chewy!" a candy person said
"Grandma!" another candy person said
"Former dead relative!" an ice cream lady said
"Starchy!" Jake said
"Mornin'" Starchy greeted
Jake then walks up to Finn and Zyro
"Man, you broke a Royal Promise? You're nuts. All you had to do is say that it was a royal secret. I know what's up. " the dog said before walking away
"Well, princess. I have to admit. That was pretty cool. I'll never doubt your genius again" Zyro said
"Thank you, Zyro" Princess Bubblegum said before turning to Finn. "As for you Finn, I hope you grasp the full consequences of breaking promises."
"Heck yeah! If I break a Royal Promise, I get to fight zombies, throw slumber parties, awake Gumball Guardians and... and..." Finn said
" Alright, alright." Bubblegum interrupted
"And reverse death itself!" Finn dramatically finished
"We get it, bro. We get it" Zyro said
"Oh, you are adorable. But keep your promises, okay?" Princess Bubblegum said "And remember to keep yours too, Zyro"
"We will, Princess" Finn replied
"What he said" Zyro added
Finn looks down to see Starchy gnawing at his leg. He then picks him up
"Starchy, you're not a zombie." he said
"I can't help it. Flesh is delicious!" Starchy said
"You're delicious!" Finn said back
"Don't squeeze me! I'll fart!" Starchy warned
But Finn squeezed him anyway and Starchy farted
"Oh man" Zyro said as he covers his nose "Can someone please open a window?"
