『A Card To Remember 』

Vivian Valentine, the lovely princess of Zumaria was always as quiet as a goldfish, not acknowledged at all.

Her voice was always unheard, no matter how much she wanted it to be heard.

All those dumb rumors about having bats in her castle and whatnot, yet no matter how untrue the rumors are and how everyone is stereotyping her; her voice is unable to speak.

The only time she felt easy was when she played music.

She was the only girl and royal at school who could play all instruments, having solidarity only to herself.

It had went like that for years but was there any reason for her timid and silent, unheard nature?

If she recalls, Vivian was both of an in-door and outdoor royal, however as time went on, she found her hobbies compared to others very out-of-place and nothing to talk about; maybe she was just a "tasteless" girl who got shy about people

Especially princesses like amber, hildegard and clio, sure they're self-confident princesses who kind of act like narcissists in a way; especially Hildegard, but man they were so cool! And…vivian was way to out of their expectations to even be their friend so she always ran away when they were around.

Later on, she had met princess Sofia who let her out of her shell because she was able to be at ease with her music.

However, Vivian was still the shyest princess, but she was more a Keep-to-myself to didn't always know what to say and yes, she still was doubtful in her skills Sometimes; but when the time Is right, she's just your average, nice princess.

And she loved the winslow siblings, Sofia was her first friend and considerably "bestfriend" because she helped the musician have better confidence in talking to others, Amber, well…she was an 'interesting' princess to say the least, always chirping up whenever she wants someone to participate in something she likes; James, he was a good friend and well, he was cute…it was undeniable

Come on, can you blame her? He was very nonchalant, nice and playful and sure…they may get him a few sighs here and there but man, he wasn't vain like his twin. Vivian could say she wonders how Amber is older but then again, his mental age drops by five years when you talk to him so yeah, he's the younger brother for a reason.

She never really thought of him in a romantic way, he was only a prince who enjoyed his time being a kid and not worrying about romance, or someone he might be betrothed to.

Would Amber resent her for that? Well, Amber liked romance but it was never one of her main thoughts unless someone mentioned or acted upon it–she may act like James is the most unbearable, irritating person to be around sometimes but she's still his big sister who cares for him.

But still, that cute laughter and that smile, his childish personality and his handsome face was just so—

Stop that train of thought, Vivian! You shouldn't be thinking of your friends' brother like that! But, she couldn't deny that she may have developed a crush on the blonde prince to some extinction.

The real question to her heart being…does he feel the same way?

However, she was aware that some girls like James so in a way, it gave her a small lump of doubt of James even liking her but at the same time; she always looks away because honestly, the chances of him liking those girls are…pretty low to be honest.

Hugo was really the talk-of-the-town at RPA because of his sharp attitude, pretty face and daring personality; Clio swooned over him, Hildegard and Amber were uninterested and Sofia, well, those two were dating so sorry Clio, you lucked out a bit too latem

Well, lately, the class had been preparing for the wassailia party tonight, and handing out sweet'tine cards were apart of it and right now, it was the Zumarian girls' turn.

Sweet'tine, an annual event at RPA which was, you send wassailia cards with a small surprise, they perform songs and you can go out, get late-minute gifts and there may be a magical performance afterwards; Vivian is excited.

"Vivian, can you help me hang these ornaments?" Sofia called out to her friend, the shorter individual struggling to hang up the decorations; Vivian climbed up the ladder; hanging it up for the younger girl.

"Thanks Vivian." Sofia jumped down the ladder. "I can't wait for this year's wassailia party! It's gonna be ah-mazing, I hear Mr. Cedric was ordered to give a performance!" She chirped, Vivian laughed "Well, I hope I'm in charge of music."

"Oh, me too." Sofia agreed. "Oh, Sofia! Here!" Vivian reached in her back, handing her a card with a giant snowflake embedded in the middle; Sofia opened the card, magic marinating out of it, a giant illusional snowflake bursting. "Awesome!" She squealed "Thanks Vivian!" Sofia hugged her friend before leaving the classroom.

Vivian watches as her friend leaves, continuing to decorate the classroom. "No, No, that's not…Vivian!" A familiar feminine voice called out, she turns around to see the twins she loves so much.

"Amber, James." She said, "Tell James that the pansies go better with the theme and not the hellebores!" The blonde girl grumbled as the blonde boy peered over her shoulder "The pansies are too off-putting, the hellebores match the theme way better!" He excitedly shouted.

Vivian looked at twins. "...The theme is primarily white and snowflake, how about you get ms. Nettles nettledrops instead? Hildegard used them for her winter party last year." She suggested as Amber's ears peered. "Great idea! Oh ms. Nettle!" Amber left.

"I can't wait for the party! It'll be brilliant." James explained, lifting up one of the snowflakes and placing it on the wall. "I hope I get to be apart of the song, Ms. Elodie was supposed to assign the band and I know Clio will be in it." The girl exclaimed, her tone was unusually happier than usual.

James chirped "I know you will!" Before Vivian could forget, he reached in her back to get James sweet'tine "Here." She handed the card to the boy, he looked intrigued

Oh, this boy and his child-like curiosity.

He opened the card, a 'boom' sound like a cannon erupts from the card, bits of snowflakes burst out yelling a boisterous "Happy wassailia!". "Brilliant!" James shouted at the surprise card "How'd you get it to do that?"

"You're always like "boom goes the cannon!" So I decided that your card could match your booming-cannon personality." The girl said calmly, he blushed. "Thanks Vivian!" He thanked his friend—well, crush. "No problem."

"Vivian!" Sofia called outside the door. "Oh, James!" She looked surprised to see him. "Hey sof." The boy greeted his sister, "Ms. Elodie needs help with the instruments!"

"Oh, okay. I'll be right there! But what about the decorations for this room?" She looked puzzled until James said "Don't worry Vivian, leave it to your prince to give a helping hand to a friend!" James offered.

Oh, how kind this boy was. That's one of the things Vivian like if it wasn't obvious; He wasn't vain at all, he was very accepting of others and did not put up a fuss about things. "Thanks James!"

"Girls!" Ms. Elodie called as Sofia already dashed off.

"Again James, thank you!" Vivian kissed the boy on the cheekk before grabbing her mandolin and bolting behind Sofia.

He stood there for a moment, contemplating what happened and he was sure his face was red. He had his ups and downs about his years wassailia but mostly positive!

Looking at the card Vivian gave him, he was fine.

Maybe this year's wassailia will be the best of the best, without a doubt.
