In season 3: Episode 2 & 3, Peter/Spider-Man meets a young girl by the name of Maria Taina Elizando who reignites Spider-man drive to continue to be Spider-Man and implies Taina dies of Leukemia. But what if things went a bit different? What if a spawn of a certain symbiote saved Taina's life?

Even with the venom symbiote by his side, Spider-man still couldn't do everything as Dr. Octopus escaped and the laboratory was burned to flames. It didn't help hearing Jameson complaining about him again. Peter had enough and decided to retire as Spider-Man. Venom wasn't happy with its host's decision and tried to convince him otherwise but Peter refused to reconsider.

At the same time, strange things were happening to Venom as it was feeling hungrier and a random burst of pain occurred infrequently which affected Spider-Man's performances. When Peter got the fan letter from Robertson, he didn't think much of it but it would change his and the sender's life forever.

Taina had her best day of her life as she saved Spider-Man from Doctor Octopus and reminded him who he is but as he sees Taina's sad smile and learns she doesn't have much time left, he wishes he could help her.

The day after, the pain was worse than ever, Peter/Venom tried to endure the pain but it was too much. Suddenly the pain stopped as it climaxed and a red, white and black goo spawned out of Venom, revealing itself to be a newborn symbiote.

At first they didn't know what to do with the newborn symbiote who called itself Silence but when they remembered the healing properties of a symbiote, Peter got an idea and headed back to Taina with Silence.

Taina's room

As the sound of the window opened, Taina was surprised to see Peter back so soon.

Peter! Taina shouted as she hugged him. Why are you here? Taina asked.

Well, I missed my number one fan and after hearing about your condition, I wanted to see you again, Peter replied.

Even though Taina was young, she could tell something was up. Ok Peter, I know something's up, please tell me, are you bringing with me for another night patrol?!

No, I'm not putting you in danger again even if you did save me, Peter calming down Taina.

Then why are you here? You still haven't answered my question. Taina reminded him.

Peter took a deep breath. Taina, do you want to live? Peter asked with a serious tone.

What? Taina fumbled her words as she didn't expect that coming out of Peter's mouth. I don't understand, I do but I don't have much time, Taina answered as she started to tear up from thinking of her eventual death.

What If I told you, you could? Peter said.

You can! Taina's eyes lit up as she heard those words.

Ok, but before I show you, you have to promise me, you will keep this a secret and enjoy your life, Peter stated.

I promise! Taina displayed an aura of seriousness as she replied. She didn't want to disappoint her hero.

Good, Peter replied as he held his right hand out and from his symbiote covered hand, Silence appeared. Taina, meet Silence, she's Venom's daughter and we would be happy if you could take care of her.

Taina couldn't believe it, Peter was asking her to become a superhero. I'm becoming a superhero like you?! Taina gasped.

No, not yet, symbiotes have special healing properties that can heal conditions like yours and I thought none other than you deserves Silence, but I don't want you to become a superhero yet, being a superhero means a big responsibility and sacrificing your personal life for the greater good. I don't want that for you so until you're 18, Silence won't allow you to use its power to its full extent. After that you can decide for yourself. Peter explained.

Taina was disappointed, she wasn't allowed to be a superhero yet and even if she didn't fully understand what Peter meant, she sensed the pain and seriousness in his words. Taina nodded to Peter's words as she stepped forward to say hi to Silence.

Hi Silence, I'm Taina, together we can become the best superhero ever, saving New Yorkers from the bad guys, Taina expressed.

Silence sprouted a small tendril, waving at her as it nodded to her question. Taina gave Peter a brief look, asking for confirmation which Peter nodded. Taina reached for Silence as the symbiote started to spread across her body, creating her own symbiote suit.

A mixture of red, white and black coloured body suit covering Taina from head to toe with a featureless mask except for the 2 white lenses with the remaining mask being covered in a deep black, almost to the point you couldn' see her face with the exception of her jawline where it was streaks of red. But the most noticeable feature was her long white and red symbiote hair consisting of several tendrils which were taller than her, stretching all the way down to her toes and beyond.

Taina could already feel her sickness disappearing as she brimmed with power beyond what she could imagine. She disappeared in a flash as she hugged Peter thanking him for giving her a new leash on life.

Peter promised if Taina wanted to become a superhero in the future, he would mentor her but she had to stick to his condition. Silence would make sure of that as she was loyal to Venom and by extension, Peter.

In the aftermath, her family was surprised and happy her sickness was cured. The doctors couldn't explain and were shocked how she got cured. Taina pretended to be shocked, keeping Silence a secret.

Taina got to experience a normal life. As she grew older, she began to understand Peter's words about sacrifice as the few times she was allowed to be Silence, often when she was in a dangerous situation where there was no other choice, it was tough dealing with thugs while balancing her civilian life. Outside of those rare occasions, Silence only allowed Taina to use its power for practical reasons such as mimicking clothes.

Time went by and the day she would become Silence permanently was soon arriving.

10 years later

As Spider-man was under the pile of rubble after getting caught off guard, sounds of webbing and punching could be heard. As Spider-man escaped the rubble, he saw the villains being webbed up in red and white webs as someone reached out their hand.

Someone is getting sloppy with age, the mysterious person smirked.

I was just letting them have their five seconds of fame, Spider-man jokes as he grabbed Silence's hand and helped him up to his feet.

The person in question was Taina/Silence, who recently turned 18 and had grown into a young and beautiful woman who became taller than Peter in fact.

It's nice to see you, both said as both opened up their masks to reveal their faces.

It's been a while Taina, you sure have grown up, Peter proud of her like an older brother.

Well, a girl needs to take care of herself, Taina said as she flashed her boobs and moved her hand along Peter's jawline. Taina had grown to become more sassy and flirtatious but remained the positive and justice driven girl she is.

I see, someone will be distracted today, Taina referring to Peter's blushing as she giggled. Y'know just because you're my hero, I won't be easy to catch, Taina winked.

Funny, y'know well I have a girlfriend, Peter said with a hint of annoyance.

Are you ready for your first lesson? Peter asked rhetorically as he already knew the answer.

Been waiting 10 years for this, Taina expressed with excitement.

As destiny would have, in the distance, sirens of police cars were heading towards the crime scene. Before Peter could give Taina guidance, she was already swinging in the air.

They grow up so fast, Peter said proudly to Venom.

Come on Spider-Man! Silence screamed in the distance.

I'm coming, Spider-Man yelled as he fired a webbing.

Another random idea, I got god knows from where. But yeah I wanted to switch things up a bit by giving the spotlight to Silence. Which I think is a really cool design even if her creation is a bit boring.

In this timeline Peter never let himself lose control of his emotions and thus Venom stayed permanently. Silence looks like what she does in the comics.
