Vanellope was bored. She was the queen of a city and could race and drive wherever she wanted, with the fastest cars the game could produce, but after many years of doing that, the thrill was gone, which wasn't good for a girl who loved to race and go fast. At the moment she was home alone, her kids at school, Ralph was hanging out with some other bad guys, and Rancis was somewhere else. As she sat alone on her throne, she was approached by a tan colored robot, a b1 battle droid, one of her daughters robot servants, who she never really got used to having around.

"Care for a snack your majesty? I have assorted candy from candy country" said the droid

"Yeah, why not" said Vanellope

Vanellope took the tray from the droid and started eating. Being a former sugar rush racer she had a natural sweet tooth and could live off sugar alone, which had its advantages.

"You seem sad, and stressed. What you need is a good shoulder massage" said the droid

"No I don't need-

But the droid had already started massaging her shoulders, which made her smile

"Ok that's actually really good" said Vanellope

"What troubles you queen Vanellope?"

"I'm bored driving the same things all the time. I've driven and raced the fastest cars the game has to offer, and it's still not enough" said Vanellope

"Have you ever tried flying? It makes King Rancis happy and he says it's thrilling" said the droid

"I haven't flown since the battle of equestria, and that was a long time ago, I don't even remember how to fly" said Vanellope

"We have ways around that" said the droid

"You do? Then let's do this. What's the fastest ship we got? Does it have crazy fast rocket boosters and can fly a million miles an hour?" Vanellope asked

"Imperial tie interceptor"

"Imperial?" Vanellope asked "When do we own imperial stuff?"

"Since we helped your daughter steal them during the Lucy conflicts. We stole several Star destroyers that way we still use in the navy, one of thems got to have the ship" said the droid

"Stolen ship? Even better. Well I got nothing better to do, so let's do this" said Vanellope as she stood up from her throne

The droid took Vanellope into space where a single star destroyer with light blue markings painted over the sides orbited above the earth.

"Welcome to Vanellopes courage" said the droid

"Lucy named a star destroyer after me?" Vanellope asked

"A symbol of oppression turned into a symbol of hope. And she named it after the bravest most courageous person she knew, her own mom" said the droid

This made Vanellope smile. She and Lucy didn't have the best relationship due to their differing interests but it made her happy knowing Lucy thought of her that way. The droid took her to her ship. The tie interceptor was a bluish gray color with 4 dagger shaped wings covered in solar panels and laser cannons on each tip. It had that distinctive tie cockpit, a ball with a single window in the front.

"Here's your ship your majesty, the tie/in interceptor. Developed by sienar fleet systems for the galactic empire until we stole this ship over Epsilon. This ship is the fastest fighter in the imperial navy, as far as we're aware as we don't have many other ships to study. It lacks a life support system and shields so you'll have to wear a flight suit. Since you don't know how to fly it'll be flown remotely for your enjoyment"

"Fine whatever just let me in" said Vanellope

"Not without a flight suit, for your safety"

And with that, the droid had Vanellope dress in an all black tie pilots uniform with helmet. She didn't like it but knew it was so she could be in it safely and breathe. When that was finished she was finally able to get in the cockpit and strap herself in. She gripped the control sticks and turned them to get a feel of the fighter.

"Kind of tight in here" Vanellope admitted

"Yeah well these things weren't built for more than one person" a droid told her from her helmets radio

After Vanellope was secured inside and the hatch closed, a docking clamp gripped onto the fighter and raised it to the top of the hangar. The droids remotely activated the ship and flew it out of the hangar. The tie gave off a distinctive roaring sound as it flew.

"Forget how big these destroyers are from the inside" said Vanellope

After a couple fly bys around the destroyer, Vanellope was flown through space, going a little faster by the minute

"So how fast does this go?" Vanellope asked

"Give or take almost 800 mph" said a droid

"Take me to max speed" Vanellope ordered

Vanellope was thrown back in her seat as the droids complied and sped the ship up. Vanellope could actually feel the speed too, it felt incredible. And upon request the droids even did barrel rolls and other moves around passing ships.

"Can I fire the guns?" She asked

"Request denied, no suitable targets available"

"Dang it" said Vanellope

Vanellope still enjoyed her flight around outpost litwak and the imperial and droid fleet orbiting around it. For once in a while, Vanellope felt free, she felt happy. But if anything, she wanted more and wanted to keep doing this. Perhaps there was a way to make the ship go even faster.
