Deku The Phoenix

Chapter 1: Rebirth

A young boy with green hair, around the age of eleven was being chased by a group of kids his age. When he saw a cave and hid inside there, the boy found a chest and being the curious little thing he is, looked inside to see what was in it. What the boy found was a weird looking pineapple and a book. He opened the book to the first page and it said,

"to whoever finds this my name is Marco AKA Marco the Phoenix and I was a pirate and this is my greatest treasure. Now before I explain everything about what makes this fruit special, this book details not counting the fruit, my life, combat style and haki."

The fruit in the chest is unique and I don't mean in looks, this before you is called a devil fruit, there is a more detailed explanation deeper in the book, as for now, what you need to know is that this particular fruit is called the Tori Tori no mi model Phoenix (bird bird fruit model phoenix)

The person that eat this fruit gains the abilities of the legendary phoenix. Note the this fruit taste horrible but it only takes one bite to give you the powers. On the next page is a more detailed description of everything you can do with this fruit. I only ask that you use this to protect those most precious to you."

The boy took up the fruit and thought to himself , " I promise I'll protect them and everyone Marco."

He ate the fruit, so begins the legacy of the Phoenix; so begins the origins of Izuku Midoriya.

Three years later:

A blonde haired teacher was standing in front of a classroom, talking to his students talking about their future more accurately their careers. And many if not all wanted to be pro heroes. One boy a ash blonde boy said, " Look teach don't lump me in with all these extras I'm the only one with the abilities to go the distance."

Those word sparked an interesting reaction, complaints were heard from everyone except our green haired phoenix who was sitting there quietly, then it was mentioned that he and one other student would be applying for a school called U.A high. The class took a one eighty and was pouring on complements, the ash blonde boy was throwing a tantrum said to Izuku, " Deku you better not think about going. A no talent quirkless loser has no place among them."

Izuku replied, " Luckily you're not the one who decides that. Leave the judging to the actual judges if I get in, I get in, if not so be it Bakugo."

This inflamed Bakugo's anger causing sparks of explosions, the teacher dismissed the class and Izuku could see the mischief in Bakugo's eyes, Izuku took his stuff before Bakugo could act on his plans and Izuku was out of the line of fire. Izuku was wondering around looking for a place to train for the entrance exams when he passed under a bridge when a man hold cover open, a creature made of slime was slipping out and was about to attack, Izuku jumped forward and tuck and rolled, turn around and got into a capoeira stands. The creature said, " Good, a meat suit with reflexes. Come kid there is no way you can beat me kid, better give up."

The creature attacked, Izuku countered with a kick to the face, the creature recoiled from the pain. The creature asked, " How?"

Izuku did not even answer him just preparing to make his next move, the creature was now being cautious now that this boy can hurt him. The next thing everyone heard was a man hold cover violently flying up then a voice said, " No need to fear. Why? Cause I am here!"

The creature face paled, the voice continued, " Texas Smash."

A tornado of pure force came at them, Izuku hands turned into blue green flaming wings, his feet were more like a bird's and he had a tail similar to peacock's. Izuku used his wings to keep himself from being blasted away from shear force of the winds. Izuku once he was able to focus on what was going on ran up to the man with a note book in hand saying, " All Might can you sign my note book."

The man now identified as All Might took the book and quickly signed his name in it, with the help of Izuku, All Might was able to quickly gather up the slime creature. Izuku went his way, then a few minute had passed Izuku heard an explosion and followed the sound. To Izuku surprise the slime creature was attacking again and it had held someone hostage the moment Izuku saw the hostage's face he acted, flying toward the action the slime creature saw him and said, " You I'll kill you this time!"

The creature using his hostage's quirk launched explosions that passed straight though his target. Izuku took some height, then came crashing towards the creature, in a spiral then lit his foot on fire once he made impact said, " Flame Arrow Smash! "

Izuku while the creature was distracted grabbed the hostage and flew back with Bakugo kicking and screaming. All Might came in the last minute and end everything with one weather changing Detroit Smash . Izuku was pulled aside by the pros and they were tell him that what he did was reckless. Izuku replied, " If I've wait a few seconds he would be dead. If no one did anything it wouldn't have mattered because he would be dead. You all are pro heroes yet you were standing there doing nothing. Kamui Woods that guy's body was not solid, you could have used your wood to pull Bakugo out. Death Arms you were physically strong enough to pull him out. Back Draft you literally could wash the creature of him. The only with a legit excuse was Mt. Lady but seriously did you not consider calling for back up or are so conceited that you would not even call for someone for help."

The heroes that were preasent eyes were open wide for they have not considered those options, believe the only option was to wait for someone with a better quirk. Izuku left after leaving them stunned Bakugo came to him yelling nonsense about how he didn't need Izuku's help, that he could have gotten himself out of that. All Might showed himself with his eternal smile and said, " Young man may have a private conversation with you."
