It was a quiet and somewhat lazy day in the Playhouse, and Pee-wee sat on Chairry, with a collection of oddities and trinkets surrounding them. He was sorting through a stack of vintage postcards, when his fiancee, Darcie, entered the room.
"Hey Pee-wee, what are you up to?" Darcie asked in her usual cutesy voice.
"Oh, hi Darcie! I'm just sorting through these postcards. Check it out, I found one from Paris!" Pee-wee exclaimed while holding up a postcard with a picture of the Eiffel Tower.
"Wow, that's so cool!" Darcie exclaimed, her eyes widening in excitement.
Pee-wee couldn't help but smile at how adorable she looked. He always felt so lucky to have her in his life. He patted Chairry's armrest, signaling Darcie to come sit beside him. She walked over and sat down, their bodies pressed close together as she squished in next to him. Pee-wee felt a warmth spread through him as he took a deep breath, inhaling her sweet scent. It was a familiar mix of lavender, mint, and vanilla, and it always made him feel calm and content.
As they looked through the postcards together, Pee-wee's mind began to wander. He couldn't help but think about how much he loved Darcie. She was his everything. His best friend, his confidante, his lover. He wanted to spend the rest of his life with her, and couldn't wait for their wedding.
He was taken from his thoughts when he noticed that clutched in her delicate hand was a small, old container filled with various tokens she had been collecting. Darcie began sifting through her tokens, her eyes sparkling with a mix of anticipation and amusement. Most of the tokens were for long-closed arcades and the occasional car wash token her uncle gave her as a novelty. However, she pulled a token from the batch, and couldn't help but giggle.
Pee-wee looked at her, a curious expression on his face. With no context, she extended her hand, offering the token to Pee-wee.
A playful grin stretched across his face. "What's this, Darcie?" he inquired, studying it closely. The token only said one thing on it: "SEX". He blushed as he saw the message on the token. "Darcie!" he exclaimed, looking at her with wide eyes.
Darcie giggled, her hand covering her mouth. "I know, I know," she said, trying to stifle her laughter. "My uncle gave it to me - well, kinda. He didn't know it was in this batch of car wash tokens," she said, going quiet for a minute. "But... you know," she began, her voice sultry. "Pee-wee... I think we should cash that token in."
Pee-wee chuckled, jumping up off of Chairry. "Last one to the bed's a rotten egg!" he said, sprinting towards his bed. Darcie shook her head as she got off of Chairry.
Chairry, however, wished she could forget everything she just heard - and was about to hear.
