Joker was having a very difficult time.

The leader of the Phantom Thieves was sitting in his bedroom above Café LeBlanc. He was surrounded by lots of things that he had to pack and wrap up to send to his allies in time for Christmas.

There were lots of gifts which the young man had to give. There was one for Ryuji, one for Anna, one for Yusuke, one for Makoto, one for Futaba and one for Haru. All of the Phantom Thieves were to receives presents from their leader, as were many other people in his life. He had even gotten one for Sojiro. It was the least he could do for the café owner who had taken him during such a difficult time in his life.

Joker had a lot of gifts to wrap in very little time. He felt he could really do with some help with them all.

It was unfortunate that the only ally he had with him that evening was not helping at all.

"C'mon, Mona!" Joker huffed. "Get outta that box!"

"Do I have to?" Morgana sulked as he popped his head out of the cardboard box he had climbed into. "This is so cool! I could stay in here all day! It's like having my own Palace!"

"It's not a Palace, it's a box!" Joker sighed. "And it's for a gift to go into, not for you to play in!"

"You're no fun, Joker!" Morgana pouted. "I expected better of you with your codename!"

"There'll be no fun for anyone if I don't get these presents wrapped up by Christmas," Joker said. "Now move your furry little butt!"

With a pout, Morgana reluctantly jumped out of the box. Joker shook his head at his cat companion's behaviour before picking up one of the gifts. He placed it inside the box before closing up the cardboard flaps.

"Now to wrap this up," Joker said, turning towards where he had rolled out the gift wrapping paper onto this bedroom table - before groaning loudly. "Mona!"

"What?" Morgana grunted, having laid himself comfortably onto the paper, getting in Joker's way of using it to wrap up the gift. "I'm not doing anything. I'm just laying here!"

"Exactly!" Joker huffed. "How am I supposed to wrap up these presents if you're on the wrapping paper?"

"I dunno!" Morgana shrugged. "Put them in a gift bag?"

"C'mon, Mona!" Joker ordered impatiently. "Off!"

Morgana dragged his furry body off the paper, an irritated frown filling his furry face as he jumped down from the table. "How am I supposed to chill out in this room if you keep making me move around?"

"There's no time for chilling out when Christmas is on the way!" Joker's eyes narrowed behind the lenses of his glasses. "You could make yourself useful by giving me a hand with wrapping these presents."

"No chance of that! I don't have any hands, only paws - and they're no good for gift-wrapping without opposable thumbs!"

Joker sighed at the excuse Morgana had made so as to not assist him. Realising he was not going to get even a little bit of help out of his big-headed cat, he proceeded to wrap the box up himself. Every inch of the plain brown cardboard was completely covered up by shiny green gift paper.

"There! Now to tie it up!"

A smile filled Joker's face as he took in how festive the present looked from being wrapped in the green paper. He reached down to pick up the red ribbon where he had left it on the floor - before letting off a holler which filled the whole room.

"Morgana!"

Morgana peered up at Joker upon having his name yelled, wearing a sheepish gaze. Having found the ribbon on the floor, the cat had been unable to resist playing with it. He had gotten his small body completely tangled up in the red trails. It was in a terrible mess over being wound around the feline from his head to his tail.

"Uhhh... Hey, Joker!" Morgana exclaimed. "Could I get a little help here please? I'm a bit tied up at the moment!"

Joker slumped his head onto the table. He huffed in all his dismay at what a nightmare this task he had to do was proving to be. It looked like this was going to be a long night for the leader of the Phantom Thieves. He would have probably gotten every one of the gifts to his friends all ready to go under their trees by now - if it weren't for Morgana being so unhelpful and interfering.

Wrapping up Christmas presents was never easy for anyone who had a cat.
