"Look at this; an absolute masterpiece!" Yusuke remarked. "And I made it!"
The young artist was wistfully gazing upon the painting he had just finished working on. He was overwhelmed by how it had turned out. All his talent and years of experience in art had been fed into creating this exquisite image. It was surreal to think that he had managed to make such a beautiful piece upon his canvas with just a few colors and a brush.
"So elegant, so moving, so breath-taking..."
Yusuke was passing his comments about his work in his typical dramatic tone. In all his years of making art, never had he created anything as grand as this. It was even better than the painting of Sayuri, and that was truly saying something, considering he had always held that portrait in high regard.
"This is my greatest work ever," he mumbled.
"Well of course it's your best work! It's of me, isn't it?"
Yusuke's ears perked up upon hearing the voice which had just spoken aloud. For a moment, it had sounded at though it had come from his painting. He peered past the canvas before smiling softly, gazing upon the one who had helped him create such an amazing work of art.
In front of the amateur painter was the one who'd agreed to model for him. He'd taken the time to capture all their beauty with his paints and brush. He'd made sure not to miss a single detail of how magnificent they were. Not one solitary part of their magnificence could be missed out on his masterpiece.
Yusuke's gaze fell back onto his portrait, which had his model painted within in in all their perfection. He felt proud to have someone so elegant willingly pose for him so he could recreate them upon his canvas. He knew for a fact that he could have never found anyone more elegant for him to paint. They were an even more glamourous model than Ann.
"You have my most humble thanks for allowing me paint you," he said. "I sure I managed to recreate you in all your wonderous glory!"
Finally being free to move after staying still for over two hours, the model came forward to see the portrait Yusuke had created of them, resulting in a wide smile crossing their face.
"You sure did, Fox! A painting like that belongs in an art museum! People will come from all over the world to see this masterpiece of yours - simply because it's of me!"
"You think so?" Yusuke's face brightened up over the comment of approval made by his model. "In that case, I'd better give this portrait a name! I think I'll call it; The Cat!"
"Well I can't see why you'd give such an awesome picture of me a name like that, Fox..." Morgana shook his head as he cast his furry gaze to the painting of him which Yusuke had made. "Because I am not a cat!"
THE END
