Whoa man, sorry I haven't posted anything in MONTHS! After going through the two halves of Pokemon Scarlet & Violet's Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC, I'm pumped up for a new project! It's another crossover series, but the start of this in pretty much Pokemon Scarlet only. I don't own anything from Pokemon, just my main character and the main antagonist for the series. Now that I got that out of the way, I present to you good people the prologue of...

Dimensional Heroes!

The Treasure Hunt: A special assignment for the young folks of the students of Naranja Academy that allows them to venture throughout the Paldea Region to find something they can treasure forever, or to discover what they want in life.

One student of the Naranja Academy: a boy named Makoto set out on his Treasure Hunt and faced all sorts of things Paldea threw his way. He faced off against the eight Gym Leaders, went to war with the trainers from Team Star, he even fought against big Pokemon known as Titan Pokemon. And through it all, he managed to make some good friends along the way, including the Pokemon known as Koraidon.

Koraidon, otherwise known as the Winged King, came from the past in a time machine in Area Zero deep in the Great Crater of Paldea by a researcher by the name of Professor Sada.

Together, Makoto and Koraidon have faced many trials during the course of Makoto's Treasure Hunt, even going down to Area Zero to help Koraidon reclaim its battle form it lost in a territorial battle against another more dangerous Koraidon.

The two even met some other unique Pokemon such as the Mask Pokemon, Ogerpon and also Terapagos, the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero.

Alongside his friends from Naranja Academy: Nemona, Arven, and Penny, as well as his friends from Blueberry Academy: Carmine and Kieran, Makoto's adventure throughout the Paldea Region has been one he won't forget anytime.

However, what he and his friends didn't know was that someone was hidden in the shadows, watching the boy ever since the day he started his Treasure Hunt...waiting for the right time.

Speaking of which, the same figure was in a very dark room, watching videos of Makoto's many Pokemon battles and stopped after viewing Makoto catching Terapagos.

"Makoto of the Naranja Academy." The figure said to himself. "Seems like fate has been smiling down on you ever since you first set foot in the Paldea Region. Even helping the Winged King reclaim its ultimate form, you really are something else." The figure slowly smiled while watching the image of Makoto cheering alongside his Meowscarada. "Even going into Area Zero twice...perhaps you're the one that can help me find the other treasures hidden deep withing Area Zero."

It was another day in the Naranja Academy and it seems that a crowd was gathered in the Schoolyard. The excitement was building for the crowd. Why? Because it was another good Pokemon battle between the school's two strongest Trainers: Nemona and Makoto. The two were now down to one Pokemon each: Nemona's Quaquaval and Makotok's Meowscarada.

"I gotta admit, Nemona! Out of all our previous battles, this one's the most fun!" Makoto admitted to his friend.

Nemona grinned. "I know! I'm having an absolute blast with this battle!" "Qua!" Quaquaval agreed with his trainer, even doing a little dance.

"Time to keep the fun going! Are you okay to keep going, Meowscarada?" Makoto turned to his first Pokemon.

Meowscarada turned to his trainer and nodded. "Meow!"

Makoto grinned and pushed his glasses a little. "I knew you wouldn't let me down. Now, use Magical Leaf!" Meowscarada summoned some multicolored leaves and fired them at Quaquaval.

Nemona was ready for something like that. "I don't think so! Quaquaval, use Ice Spinner!"

Quaquaval spun around with ice on his feet. He was able to push the Magical Leaf attack away before knocking into Meowscarada.

"Not bad, Nemona! Just the kind of thing I'd expect from you." Makoto grinned. "Still, you forgot about one thing."

Nemona blinked. "What's that?"

Makoto held up two fingers. "Two words: Power Gem!"

With a glint in his eye, Meowscarada snapped his finger and summoned four glowing rocks that surrounded Quaquaval and fired some beams at the Dancer Pokemon.

"You haven't lost your touch, Makoto!" Nemona complimented. Then she grinned and help out her Tera Orb. "How about we turn it up a notch?"

Makoto responded by holding out his own Tera Orb. "There's no other way to end a great battle!"

Both orbs began to glow while the crowd looked on in awe. "Here we go!" One of the students even said in excitement.

"Time to Terastalize!" the two of them threw their orbs at their Pokemon at the same time. Soon, both Meowscarada and Quaquaval were shining with Tera jewels on their heads: Meowscarada's looked like flowers while Quaquaval's looked like a small fountain.

"Now for some stronger water power!" Nemona gave her next command. "Quaquaval, let's use Aqua Step!" Quaquaval began to go with light and fluid dance steps while advancing towards Meowscarada.

"Meowscarada, it's time for the Terastalized curtain call!" Makoto snapped his fingers. "Use Flower Trick!"

Fast enough to avoid the Aqua Step, Meowscarada moved his hands around before snapping his fingers again.

Lunchtime came right after the battle. Now Makoto and Nemona were in the cafeteria, having lunch with Arven and Penny.

"You got me good again, Makoto!" Nemona said with a grin. "Seriously, it's like lady luck just loves you! You came out on top during our three-on-three battle!"

Makoto swallowed before speaking. "It was still a close one. You had no problem taking down both Floatzel and Armarouge during our last match."

"Yet Meowscarada still put on a good show while taking down Pawmot and Lycanroc!" Nemona happily took another bite of her sandwich.

Arven couldn't help but agree. "Yeah! That's my little buddy for you!"

"Still as crazy strong as always." Penny slowly shook her head. Still, she gave a small smile of her own. "So, Makoto, what do you plan to do after classes today?"

Makoto thought about for a couple of seconds. "Hmm...Well, I thought I might call Kieran and see how he and Carmine are doing back at the Blueberry Academy. Maybe find some time to visit him."

"You told us about the time you went to that school as an exchange student." Arven spoke up. "How did you like it there?"

Makoto shrugged a little. "Sure it's nice and all, plus the Terarium sure seemed fun to go around and all, but I like being in Paldea and the Naranja Academy more."

Suddenly, the intercom beeped, catching everyone's attention. "Attention, attention." The voice of Director Clavell was heard. "Master Makoto, please report to the Director's office. Someone is there wanting to meet you." After the announcement, the intercom went off.

Makoto blinked a couple of times. "Someone wanting to meet me?"

Nemona nudged her friend as she grinned. "Maybe it's just another fan wanting to battle you."

"Somehow, I don't think that's why Director Clavell called for Makoto to come to his office." Penny deadpanned.

Arven folded his arms. "If it's someone wanting to meet Makoto, I don't understand why they didn't just come here to meet him in person."

Makoto shrugged. "Maybe the person's new to Paldea. Either way, I probably shouldn't keep the guest or Director Clavell waiting any longer." He stood up and put his backpack on. "I'll see you guys later." He waved to his friend before making his way to the Director's office.

He made his way to the Director's office. There he met with Director Clavell plus another person. This person had short spiky lavender hair and was wearing a green t-shirt, orange fingerless gloves, blue shorts, white socks and black tennis shoes.

"You wanted to see me, Director Clavell?" Makoto asked the Director.

Director Clavell smiled and nodded. "Ah, Master Makoto. This young man has heard about you and wanted to meet you himself." He waved his hand to the person standing next to him.

Makoto has never seen this person anywhere in Paldea or even in the Blueberry Academy in Unova. Still, the person smiled and held a hand out to Makoto. "You must be Makoto, Champion-Ranked student of the Naranja Academy. I'm glad I finally got to meet you. My name is Hunter and after hearing so much about you and your many battles, I had to come to Paldea and meet you in person."

Makoto smiled and shook Hunter's hand. "Wow, I didn't know people were talking about what I've been doing here." He thought back to what Mr. Saguaro said to him. "Then again, Mr. Saguaro did say that people talk about me in his Home Ec Classroom."

"You've really become quite a topic with what you've done throughout your Treasure Hunt assignment." Hunter looked serious as he looked at Makoto. "But, I came here mainly because of one very big thing you've done."

When Makoto blinked in confusion, Director Clavell cleared his throat to speak up. "Master Makoto, there's another reason why I called you here. It turns out Master Hunter has heard that you went down to the Great Crater of Paldea."

Makoto was surprised to hear that. "H-How did you know that I've been down to Area Zero?"

"Oh, I have my ways." Hunter answered. "You've been down there to help this unusual Pokemon named Koraidon, correct?"

Makoto nodded and looked down at Koraidon's Poke Ball. "Yeah, it helped me defeat an AI of Professor Sada when we went down to the Zero Lab to shut down the time machine there."

"Such a shame what happened to the actual professor." Hunter showed his sympathy.

Director Clavell nodded before turning to Makoto. "That wasn't the only time you went down there, right Master Makoto?"

Makoto nodded at the question. "I went down deeper than where the time machine was. I went to the underdepths with Carmine, Kieran, and Briar to find the hidden treasure of Area Zero."

"That being the Pokemon known as Terapagos, correct?" Hunter spoke again.

"Y-Yes!" Makoto was surprised. "But, how did you know about that?"

Hunter pulled out a copy of the Scarlet Book. "I found this at the entrance of the school and scrolled through it before meeting with your principle. That's where I've found the page on the Pokemon called Terapagos."

Makoto looked at the page Hunter was talking about. "I thought this page was smeared when Arven showed it to me?"

"I've done a little decoding so to speak as most of the school was in the Schoolyard watching a battle between you and your friend, Nemona." Hunter explained.

"I see." Makoto nodded. "The underdepths took me by surprise. I didn't really expect to see Pokemon that can Terastalize into this Tera Type called Stellar. They did talk about the hidden treasure, but I didn't expect it to be an actual Pokemon."

"Ah, but did you know that Terapagos isn't the only treasure discovered deep in Area Zero?" Hunter suddenly asked, catching Makoto and Director Clavell by surprise.

"It isn't?" Makoto asked.

"I must say, this is the first time you've spoke of this, Master Hunter." Director Clavell admitted. "Why now do you speak of this other treasure?"

"I just thought it was best to wait until Makoto was in your office to explain." Hunter answered. "You see, my ancestor was part of the research team that went down to Area Zero many years ago." Hunter held out some old pieces of paper next. "You see, he discovered something other than crystals that give off the same glow and power that allows Pokemon to Terastalize to this day. He found four strange mysterious gems that gave off some different kind of energy, four items that he's dubbed the Dimension Diamonds."

"Dimension Diamonds?" Makoto asked in confusion. "What do they do?"

"That's the thing, no one ever found out what the Dimension Diamonds can really do." Hunter answered. "My ancestor was attacked before he could find out. Ever since I found those papers, I've been determined to discover these Dimension Diamonds and find out what it is they can really do. From what I've seen in the papers you're holding now, I have a good feeling that those four gems could do great things for the world."

"You mean you went down to Area Zero to try and find them?" Makoto asked, looking through the papers about the Dimension Diamonds.

"Time and time again, I've asked for permission to go down there." Hunter replied.

Director Clavell looked like he remembered something. "I do recall someone asking Geeta multiple times for permission to go down to the Great Crater of Paldea, but every time she declined because of how dangerous it is down there."

Hunter looked a little upset. "Yeah, that was me. I've heard about how dangerous it is down in the Great Crater of Paldea, but that's where the Dimension Diamonds are said to be!"

Makoto was starting to understand why he was meeting Hunter now. "So, you came to me because I've been down there with Koraidon and my other friends to help you get to the diamonds?"

Hunter turned to Makoto and slowly nodded his head. "I know it's wrong of me to ask, but from what I've heard, you're my only hope of finally reaching the Dimension Diamonds and trying to figure out what they can do." He took both of Makoto's hands in both of his and looked him in the eye. "Please, Makoto, I beg of you. Come with me to the underdepths of Area Zero and help me find the Dimension Diamonds."

Makoto sweated a little as he turned his eyes to Director Clavell. "As much as I'd like to help, it's not up to me. I may have gone down there without permission the first time, but..."

Director Clavell raised his hand a little to stop his student. "Speak not another word, Master Makoto. I was able to contact Geeta while you and Master Hunter were having your talk and told her about the missing Dimension Diamonds. She said that as long as you are very careful, you can go back down to Area Zero." Makoto and Hunter smiled at hearing that.

Director Clavell looked serious as he continued. "While I don't like sending my students to any place that's dangerous, I know what you're capable of, Master Makoto. Still, it's not wise for just the two of you to go down there alone. I ask that you find someone else to go down there with you."

Makoto thought about it before he smiled. "I know just the ones to bring for this."

After a good dose of explaining, Makoto and Hunter were now in the elevator of the Zero Lab on their way to the underdepths. With them were Makoto's good friends of the Naranja Academy Nemona, Arven, and Penny.

"So let me get this straight." Arven began, eye Hunter suspiciously. "We're going down deeper into Area Zero in order to find these four Dimension Diamonds that are said to be hidden somewhere in the same place my little buddy fought against Terapagos with both Carmine and Kieran?"

Hunter nodded. "Yes, and I must thank you all for going with me on this quest to find them."

"Well, when you said some strong Pokemon were there, how could I say no?" Nemona turned to Makoto. "These Stellar Pokemon are strong, right?"

Makoto shrugged. "When I fought some, their Tera Type seemed pretty much like Tera 2.0."

Penny raised an eyebrow. "Tera 2.0?"

"Every move that they use gets a Tera upgrade similar to say Sylveon's Fairy-Type attacks when she Terastalizes." Makoto answered, using one of Penny's Pokemon as an example.

Nemona grinned. "Ooh, I can't wait to see them with my own eyes!"

Arven gave her a dull look. "Surprise surprise." He turned to Hunter. "Just remember, no funny business. I've got my eye on you."

Hunter simply smiled. "Oh, my friend. I assure you, everything will be fine. You have nothing to worry about."

Arven kept his eyes on Hunter. "If something down there makes my Mabosstiff seriously hurt like before I met Makoto, or if anything happens to my little buddy himself, I'm blaming you."

Hunter took a little step back before turning his eyes to Makoto. Makoto just shrugged and smiled sheepishly. "Sorry about that. After hearing what I've done on my journey, my friends can be pretty protective of me."

"Can you blame us?" Penny asked him. "We're going down deeper than we went the last time me, Nemona, and Arven came down here."

Makoto gave her a gentle smile. "I promise, Penny, we'll be fine. Plus this will be good for you three."

"How so?" Nemona asked.

Makoto held out his Tera Orb. "After making it back to Blueberry Academy, me, Kieran, and Carmine found out that we don't need to charge our Tera Orbs at the Pokemon Centers anymore. If this place can do that to our orbs, there's a good chance it'll help your orbs as well."

Suddenly, the elevator came to a stop. And Makoto knew what this means. "We're here!"

They got out of the elevator and looked at the start of the underdepths in awe. "Makoto, you've been down here before?" Arven asked.

Makoto nodded. "When we set foot, we saw a bunch of papers on an old desk next to the elevator. Over there." Makoto pointed to the desk so the others could see the papers.

"That's just more proof that we're getting close." Hunter said seriously. "Let's go. The Dimension Diamonds are waiting."

Makoto nodded. "Right. The path down to the deepest part was blocked by crystals when I first came here."

Nemona was ahead, looking at a clear path. "The path looks pretty clear to me."

Hearing that made Makoto smile. "Good, that makes the trip down there easier."

Hunter smiled himself. "Excellent. Let's be on our way."

And so, the five of them ventured down into the underdepths of Area Zero. Thanks to Makoto's previous adventure down there with Briar, Carmine, and Kieran, it was easy for the five of them to venture down. Sure they ran into a couple of Wild Pokemon along the way, much to Nemona's excitement, they reached the bottom in no time at all.

After going through the crystal tunnel, they've reached the area where Makoto met Terapagos for the first time.

Penny looked around the crystals in the room. "So shiny. Makoto, you've been here before?"

Makoto smiled and nodded. "Yep, and it's just as shiny as I remember it."

Nemona notice a glow in her pocket, and took it out to see that it was her Tera Orb. "Hey, my Tera Orb's glowing!"

Arven and Penny looked to see that their Tera Orbs were glowing as well. Makoto noticed their reactions and grinned. "See? I told you. Now you don't have to worry about charging your Tera Orbs anymore."

Arven smiled as he put his orb away. "Makoto, I never doubted you for a second."

Hunter looked around the area. "Those Dimension Diamonds have to be around here somewhere. Search everywhere."

The five of them looked throughout the room to find the Dimension Diamonds. They even got some of their Pokemon to help out.

Mabosstiff was sniffing the ground close to where Terapagos was sleeping. He stopped when he saw something glowing in the ground. After getting a close look, he got everyone's attention with a bark.

Arven was the first. "Hey, I think Mabosstiff found something!" They returned their other Pokemon before rushing over to the Dark-Type. "What is it, boy?" Arven asked his Pokemon.

Mabosstiff barked and pointed at a glowing spot on the ground close to the crystals.

Hunter's eyes widened. "This must be where the Dimension Diamonds must be." He smiled in excitement. "Quick, we have to dig them out!"

Mabosstiff began to dig at the stuff. Makoto held out a Poke Ball of his own. "Help Mabosstiff dig the diamonds, Raichu!"

Raichu came out and used her Dig to help Mabosstiff.

The others watched as the two Pokemon dig. Finally, Hunter held out his hand in front of the Pokemon. "Stop! That's good enough."

At that, Makoto and Arven returned their Pokemon while Hunter got to his knees to get a better look at the four diamonds on the ground.

Everyone also looked to see that the Dimension Diamonds were in different colors: white, green, blue, and red. "I have to admit, they look pretty." Penny admitted, not taking her eyes off the Dimension Diamonds.

"If I'm dreaming, don't wake me up." Hunter muttered. He slowly reached for one of the diamonds. But just as he so much as touched a Dimension Diamonds, all four of them began to glow.

Nemona blinked. "Uh, is that supposed to happen?"

Arven glared at Hunter. "What did you do!?"

Hunter raised his hands up in defense. "Hey, I'm just as surprised as you are!" The Dimension Diamonds began to glow brighter.

"It's not stopping!" Penny pointed out.

"What's happening!?" Makoto's eyes widened.

"This must be the power of the diamonds." Hunter muttered.

All five of them had to shield their eyes as the glowing from the diamonds got even brighter. They screamed as the glow covered the entire room.

When the glowing died down, the Dimension Diamonds were gone...but so were Makoto, Nemona, Arven, Penny, and Hunter.

Silence filled the room. Where could Makoto, his friends, and the Dimension Diamonds could've gone?

This was the start of a new adventure for Makoto and his friends...one that's more dangerous than anything from Area Zero.
