As quickly as the controlled Urogthians began to fight against one another did they stop in their actions.

Regaining control of themselves as their link to Urgoth allowed them to share their creator's knowledge with them, where the two Domini, Infernir and Velgoth looked upward and toward the Dark Ark.

"THE CATALYST IS THERE! TAKE HER!" Infernir declared as many of the flying Urgothians began to surge higher up into the sky and to rush rushing toward the Dark Ark in order to reach their prize.

Fueled by his rage and growing in intensity, Infernir's flames then formed into a pair of wings, which the ruler of the Fire Urgothians used to soar into the skies at an alarming speed.

Desiring to reach Kari and drag the Dark Empress before Elezar's feet in order to prove his own superiority over the Light Urgothian ruler, Infernir closed in on the Dark Ark.

However, and much to the frustration of Infernir, Dark Davis and Light Davis intercepted him in the air, the pair clashing their Mana infused weapons against the infernal monster's claws, while BurningVeedramon rushed toward the fiery Urgothian like a blazing comet.

"Inferno Sabres!" The Fire Mana infused form of UlforceVeedramon declared as the flames around his blades intensified.

Swinging his weapons, BlazingVeedramon sent a great and fiery shockwave toward Infernir, the action cutting off both of the beast's arms and causing the fiery Urgothian to shriek from the great pain inflicted to his being.

Noticing his foe's arms quick to regeneration, however, BurningVeedramon then brought his blades close to his chest as Fire Mana gathered upon his chest piece.

"Blazing Fury!" The fiery samurai Digimon then declared with a further might as he spread his arms out and unleashed a powerful stream of Fire Mana toward Infernir.

The onslaught of flames struck the Fire Urgothian leader and sent him flying backwards in a ball of agony, a sight that was pleasing to the Fire Mana form of Veemon as Light Davis and Dark Davis moved to his sides.

However, the trio then frowned as the fireball consuming Infernir quickly faded from his burning body and revealed that the monster was indeed unharmed.

After his body quickly regenerated and removed all signs of BurningVeedramon's attacks, Infernir then expelled a fearsome battlecry toward his foes as BurningVeedramon, the Archon and the Shadow prepared to resume their conflict with the fiery monster.

"All forces, do not let the Urgothians reach the Dark Ark!" Lelouch ordered his comrades through the comms system, his call causing the floating fortresses and airships to open fire against the Urgothians flying toward the massive ship that served as the Dark Imperium's capital, their actions joined by the Dark Imperium's fleet and the DDF's armada as they tried to take down as many of the flying monstrosities as possible.

At the same time, bolts of dark energy began to rain down from the Dark Ark, the blasts striking down many of the Urgothians flying toward the ship, while the surviving beast saw a swarm of enemies blocking them from obtaining their target.

"Dread Flare!" DarkTiamatmon announced as she released a stream of dark flames upon the Urgothians, the black inferno breaking their assault and then caused the beasts to engage against their newer foes, while below, the five Davises recognized many of the beings that were accompanying the former Digimon of Light, taking notice of a swarm of Velgemon that flew down and fought against the flying Urgothians.

At the same time, a series of dark portals opened up around the battlefield and those defending Nexus saw a legion of warriors, who the champions of Nexus recognized as a small army of Duskmon.

Rushing forward to join the battle and drive the Urgothians back, the Duskmon horde showed no mercy against their foes as they used their great speed and weapon skills to cut down their enemies.

Finally, and emerging from the vortexes, as well as the Dark Ark itself, the five Davises saw a type of Digimon they had never seen before, one that clearly looked like a fusion of Duskmon and Velgemon, a being clad in black coloured bone armour with a head and two shoulder pads resembling Velgemon's upper head, a pair of massive wings with eyes upon them, and large swords that was consumed in their dark auras.

"Those are TyrantVelgemon. Kari created them as her elite guard, along with the normal Velgemon and Duskmon." Mikey informed the five Davises through the comms system as they kept their focuses on Infernir and Velgoth, the champions of Nexus nodding their heads in understanding, grateful that Kari still had warriors to protect her during this battle.

"She sends her apologizes, for she was unaware of the strong link between the Urgothians and their Master." DarkTiamatmon informed through her own comms device in order to let the five Davises know that her partner was only trying to assist them.

"It is alright, but now that they know where she is, we need to focus on keeping the enemy from her!" Fire Davis remarked as he traded punches with his fiery arms against Velgoth, the Nature Urgothian leader expelling a fearsome roar as his tendrils shot out in order to strike at Nature Davis and Water Davis.

"Don't worry, the Dark Ark has the latest in defense systems! There's no way these freaks are getting past my creations!" Zim declared with a maddening laugh through the comms, his words and his antics not having the intended effect of comfort for the champions.

But remaining focused, the five Davises, their partners, friends and allies knew that they could not quit, not until the Urgothians were driven back and the Breach sealed.

As their partners battled Infernir and Velgoth, Blaze and the rest of the Nexus partners focused their attention upon the Domini of Fire and of Nature.

Belezar, Cybrian and the Fire Dragon himself unleashed a combined assault of Fire, Dark and Water Mana upon the Dominus of Nature in an attempt to strike the beast down quickly.

Much to their frustration, however, the trio watched as the insect swarm around the Dominus moved to intercept their attacks, which destroyed most of the Urgothian insectoids, but left the beast itself unharmed.

Expelling another fearsome shriek, The Dominus then unleashed another wave of insects from the many nests which ran along its form, which surged toward Blaze, Belezar and Cybrian in an attempt to devour their foes quickly.

Before the insects could get close enough to the trio, a combination of Fire, Dark and Light Mana enveloped the swarms, striking the insect mass down as Phirox, Ferox, Kurdoss and Ravana moved to aid Blaze, Belezar and Cybrian, the Light construct growling toward the Dominus of Nature as Rika stood upon her back and too was ready to do her part in aiding her allies against this terrible foe.

As Kurdoss flew down and landed beside Ravana, Henry appeared from out of a dark wisp and beside Rika as he kept his own glare upon the Dominus before him.

"So, what's the plan?" Rika then asked as she also kept her gaze upon their foe, while out of the corner of her eye, the red haired Arbiter observed as Julie, Caleb and Demezel joined the group in order to counter the Dominus of Nature's power.

'We try to take this thing down before Morgaunt arrives… Otherwise we fall back and let them do the work…' The Wraith said in reply, his words only adding to Rika's bewilderment toward what this Morgaunt truly was.

"You make it sound like it's the end of all things. What even is this Morgaunt you and Dark Davis keep mentioning?" Rika then asked as Henry turned his gaze upon her.

'The really, really short version, it is what happens when madness and desperation take hold… As well as the limitless powers of delusion… that is all I am saying…' Henry merely informed in reply.

Frustrated by what she heard but deciding to put her curiosity on hold as the Dominus of Nature surged forward, Rika and the others amongst the group quickly scattered as they dodged its strike and began to retaliate against the beast.

Meanwhile, Jiraiya and Alcadeias were in conflict with the Dominus of Fire, the duo dodging and parrying strikes from the monster's metallic tendrils, as well as avoiding the molten lava it spewed from the openings along its chest, which melted the Urgothians unlucky enough to be caught within the path of the fiery attacks.

"Oh, enough of this, you worthless metal freak!" The Nature Dragon bellowed furiously as his sword was consumed in Nature Mana, while Alcadeias' weaponry glowed with an intense source of light.

Rushing forward and together, the pair dodged the series of metal tendrils sent their way, before swinging their blades as one.

Their attacks cut clean through the Dominus' form, which began to split apart, but turning around, however, Jiraiya and Alcadeias frowned as black blood quickly shot out of the Dominus' remaining form, grabbed at the pieces that were falling off and pulling them back upon its being as it quickly regenerated and left no traces of the damage inflicted.

Turning to face those who dared tried to harm its form, the Dominus of Fire expelled another stream of molten lava, which Jiraiya and Alcadeias quickly dodged and were left to figure out some way to deal enough damage to their foe that it would retreat.

All around the plains and as the battle raged on, those protecting Nexus and the worlds beyond continued to fight against the Fire and Nature Urgothians, while the skies above the battlefield were alight with the explosions from the battle between the flying monstrosities and those defending the Dark Ark from their assault.

From atop their mounts, Luthor, Arthas and Daisuke lead the charge against the Urgothian lines, their dragons expelling their flames upon their foes, burning away the Nature Urgothians, while the counteractive nature of the Fire Mana tormented the Fire Urgothians and caused them to shriek in pain.

Looking for a moment to locate his son and seeing that Victor was indeed safe and fighting alongside Ignisia's elite guard against their foes, Luthor then took in the sight of the battle between the Davis he knew, along with his Nature and Water counterparts, against Velgoth, the Sun King easily saw that the trio were in trouble against the Nature Urgothian leader.

Looking up and to the skies, seeing how the Archon, the Shadow and Davis' Digimon partner were clashing with Infernir.

Luthor had his eyes closed and was in the midst of a decision, one he knew would have dire consequences, but one he knew he had to make.

Moving the reins of his mount, Luthor directed his dragon upward.

Following the command, the beast rushed itself high into the sky, taking Infernir by surprise as it slammed its body into the Fire Urgothian leader, much to the shock and surprise of the trio battling the fiery beast.

"They need your help against Velgoth! Go, I will deal with this fiend!" The Sun King said as his dragon grabbed Infernir with its claws and then threw the beast downward.

"Brave fool." The Shadow remarked, where the Archon looked upon his dark variant and commented. "An honourable fool."

Looking upon BurningVeedramon, who nodded his head in silent agreement, the trio then rushed down to join the other Davises against Velgoth.

As they blocked a strike from Velgoth's fists and tendrils, Fire Davis, Water Davis and Nature Davis looked upward to see BurningVeedramon, Dark Davis and Light Davis rushing down from the sky and acting as their backup, which gave the Fire Champion an idea.

"Catch!" Fire Davis said as he used his main hand to toss a familiar object toward the Grand Guardian, who caught the D-3 within his normal hand, before the screen began to glow with an intense green light.

Feeling the massive surge of Nature Mana flowing throughout his entire being, BurningVeedramon allowed himself to be cocooned within the energy, before he then declared with a might within his voice. "BurningVeedramon, Slide Evolution!"

With great force, the cocoon of energy then burst open with a powerful gust of energy, revealing a new form of UlforceVeedramon, one created from the power of Nature Mana.

Resembling the Royal Knight Digimon those of the Digital World were used to seeing, this new form for Veemon's armour was made completely out of a stone-like alloy, his wings and cloak were made of branches and leaves, giving him a primal and regal appearance.

Finally and in place of UlforceVeedramon's wrist blades, this newer form of the knight Digimon held a rock hammer much similar to Nature Davis' own weapon.

Swinging around the weapon, the Nature Mana infused form of Veemon then declared with a great might within his tone. "GaiaVeedramon!"

With his name now known, GaiaVeedramon set himself back within the battle, renewed and determined to fight alongside those he cared for.

"Stone Crusher!" He then announced with a further might as his hammer began to glow with a bright green aura, before the Nature Mana infused Digimon then slammed his weapon into Velgoth's face, the power and strength behind the assault causing the Nature Urgothian ruler to stagger backwards and fall upon his back with a loud and painful shriek.

"Nature's Fury!" GaiaVeedramon declared as he slammed his hammer into the ground and brought his hands together as Nature Mana began to gather between them.

Working together, the five Davises gathered their own Mana and joined their Digimon partner as they unleashed a combined blast of Mana toward Velgoth, the massive surge of energy slamming into the beast's form, which Velgoth tried to hold his ground against the assault and then expelled a fearsome roar in the process.

However, the combined attacks proved greater than Velgoth had expected, and the Nature Urgothian ruler found himself flying backward.

Crashing through a number of his servants and slamming into the leg of the Dominus of Nature, the impact, along with the powerful Mana assault, caused the Dominus to shriek in great pain as it lost its balance and toppled over, crushing Velgoth's form beneath its massive body in the process.

Taking a moment to catch his breath and knowing it wouldn't be long before both Velgoth and the Dominus were back on their feet, Fire Davis looked upon his Dark and Light variants, where he questioned with both curiosity and concern. "Where's Infernir?"

"The Sun King gave us a chance to help you." The Shadow said in reply, his words causing Fire Davis' burning eyes to widen as he understood the meaning behind Dark Davis' comment.

Reaching the ground, Luthor dismounted from off of his dragon, before commanding it to take off and return to Ignisia, a command the beast reluctantly followed as it flew away.

Taking a strong stand, the Sun King withdrew his sword and looked toward the dust crater Infernir had crashed into.

With a powerful burst of wind, the dust cleared as Infernir expelled a fearsome and powerful roar, his sight locked upon the mere human who defied him, watching as the Sun King got into a battle stance.

Rushing toward his foe, Infernir swung his claws toward Luthor, who dodged, blocked and parried the strikes with his sword, even leaping away as the beast swung his tail toward him, before the Sun King moved on to the offensive, swinging his sword as he forced the Fire Urgothian leader backwards.

Growing increasingly frustrated and blinded by his rage, Infernir expelled another rage-filled battle cry, before thrusting his right claw forward, piercing Luthor through the chest.

All around the battlefield, those of the Fire Realm and those close to the Davises stopped as they saw the sight, especially Daisuke, Arthas, Kenji and Victor, where the young prince all but screamed for his father as he saw Infernir's claws protruding straight out of the Sun King's back.

Onboard the Dark Ark, Kari rose from her throne and looked upon the scene with shock, while Jun held in a scream of fear as both knew how close the Sun King was to Fire Davis, while Kormac expressed his own concerns through his mechanical features.

Below and upon the battlefield, Fire Davis turned his attention upon hearing Victor's cry, the Fire Champion releasing his Mana Form and returning to his normal self as he looked upon the scene with his own growing shock.

With pain coursing through out his body, Luthor grit his teeth as Infernir lifted his body and brought the Sun King closer to his face, the fiery abomination expelling another fearsome roar in an attempt to let this foolish human know that his death was imminent and that he should be afraid.

In a final act of defiance, however, Luthor expelled his own battle cry, before plunging his blade deep into Infernir's mouth, the blade piercing the beast's head, which caused Infernir to flail about in pain and agony, before the Fire Urogthian ruler threw Luthor to the side, the king still holding his sword as he crashed into a rockface nearby.

"Father!" Victor cried out as he rushed toward his father, Ignisia's elite guard, Arthas, Kenji and Daisuke close behind him as they moved toward the fallen king.

"Go! We will hold him back." Light Davis said to his fiery counterpart as the Archon kept his focus on Velgoth, seeing the Dominus of Nature returning to its feet, along with the vile beast that summoned it.

Nodding his head in appreciation toward the Archon, Fire Davis rushed toward the group surrounding Luthor.

Seeing Victor holding his father's body as blood continued to pour out of the wound caused by Infernir's claws, the sight broke Fire Davis' heart.

Even with the greatest healing magic in Nexus, there was nothing that could heal such a wound caused by an Urgothian ruler, and those present knew this as most looked upon Luthor with despair, while Arthas' own reaction was hard to read as he looked upon the broken form of his brother.

Expelling a pain filled grown, Luthor looked upon his son, seeing the tears within his eyes, while the Davis he had known his entire life and his brother stood behind Victor, the sight bringing a small smile to the fallen king, knowing that his son would not be alone.

With a strained groan, Luthor brought his sword up and placed it into his son's hands.

Looking into Victor's eyes as he conveyed his desire for his son to live on, to rule Ignisia wisely and fairly, where he gave his son one final smile before the light left his eyes.

There was almost a moment of silence, had it not been for the battle raging around them, as the group looked upon the dead king of Ignisia, with Fire Davis clenching his fists at having lost a dear friend, while knowing that now, Victor was to be King, whether he desired it or not.

Laying his father's body down and closing the king's eyes, Victor closed his eyes as he then clenched his father's sword, before he turned with rage filled eyes toward Infernir, who had recovered from his injuries as he expelled a rage fill roar, where dozens of Fire Urgothians rushed to aid their Master against his foes.

Rising to his feet and with a rage in his eyes, Victor led the group forward as they charged toward Infernir's forces, Fire Davis close by as he prepared to do his part and not let Luthor's death be in vain.

At the same time, Velgoth expelled his own fearsome roar as the Dominus of Nature and the Nature Urgothians regrouped and charged toward the rest of the Davises and their allies, who prepared themselves to hold off and drive their enemy back.

Before either army could clash again, however, the Fire and Nature Urgothians were caught off guard as swarms of vampiric warriors and beasts attacked them from the sides, revealing that the reinforcements from the Dark Realm had finally arrived.

Stopping upon seeing the Vampire Clans joining the battle, Fire Davis watched as Vaddik landed before him, which was followed closely by his variants as they exited their Mana Forms and surrounded their allies.

"We came as soon as we could." Vaddik said as she watched her warriors engage the Urgothian hordes.

Concern filling him, however, the Fire variant of Davis then questioned. "How far behind is Morgaunt?"

"Not too far. They will arrive soon." The vampiric Dark council member said in reply, this sending a chill down the spines of those belonging to Nexus and confusing those from the Digital World.

"Pull everyone back, put up protective barriers and let me and Vaddik handle this!" Dark Davis then commanded with some urgency, and when some in the group looked as though they wanted to question what was happening, the Shadow snapped with rage. "Do it!"

Not desiring to get on the Shadow's bad side, nor get in the way of whatever Morgaunt was, TK and Mikey ordered the DDF and Imperium forces to pull back, a command the leaders of the Light Realm, Fire Realm, Nature Realm and Water Realm commanders gave as their forces began to fall back.

Looking back toward the battle, however, Fire Davis saw Victor continuing to lead the charge against Infernir's forces, where the Fire Champion turned into a burst of flame and rushed toward the young king.

Reappearing behind the group, Fire Davis called out with a fair urgency. "Victor, we need to fall back!"

While Arthas, Daisuke, Kenji and the warriors stopped, Victor ignored the Fire Champion as he cut through the Fire Urgothians, the rage filled king desiring to reach Infernir and exact revenge for his father's death.

Before he could move another step, however, Victor felt a hand upon his shoulder, where he was quickly turned around as Fire Davis looked into his eyes and declared. "We need to fall back, Morgaunt is coming!"

Hearing the name he often heard in fairy tales and horror stories, Victor snapped out of his rage as a look of terror expressed itself upon his face.

"Lord Motomiya is right, we need to fall back, Ignisia cannot lose you as well." Arthas then said, gaining his nephew's attention as the Warlord went on to say. "You will have your day, boy, but you also have responsibilities you must tend to, do not let your father's death be in vain."

Clenching his fist around his father's sword, Victor relented as he followed Fire Davis, his uncle, Daisuke, Kenji and the guards back to the retreating Realm forces, part of his knowing that if the stories were true, then the Urgothians were in for a rude awakening.

Seeing their enemies falling back, Infernir and Velgoth expelled fearsome battle cries, each believing that they had defeated their enemies and that now they could claim the Catalyst and show their superiority over their brethren.

However, this sense of success disappeared as the duo of Urgothian rulers sensed something in the air, one approaching from the borders of the Dark Realm and the Fire Realm, a threat both Infernir and Velgoth had faced before, and one they knew would only add to their troubles.

As the majority of Nexus' defenders rallied behind their Dark Realm allies, those newer to Nexus watched as their allies belonging to the Light Realm began to place barriers of light around their forces, while the Digi-heroes themselves watched on as Paraz, Julie and others seemed to be praying to the Dragon Gods for protection.

Turning her attention toward Fire Davis, Light Davis, Nature Davis and Water Davis, Rika asked on behalf of all who were not from Nexus as she questioned. "What is Morgaunt?"

Letting out a sigh, Fire Davis was the one to respond as he informed his friends. "As I mentioned, Morgaunt is a series of kingdoms and city states along the border between the Dark Realm and the Fire Realm, ruled over by Vaddik's cousin and those vampires of his bloodline."

"Once, long ago and before the Multiversal War, Morgaunt, despite being a kingdom of the Dark Realm, was a shining beacon of virtue, loyal knights and peasants paying homage to their benevolent king." The Fire Champion said, before his features darkened as he continued his tale.

"However, when the Urgothians first breached their prison and began their assault upon Nexus, the armies of Morgaunt were cut off from the rest of the world by the enemy, where the kingdom fought to survive and by any means necessary, even when it meant eating one another for sustenance." Fire Davis then remarked, his words causing the Digi-heroes to look upon him with a growing concern.

"In their minds, which are warped by delusion, they still see themselves as the noble kings, nobles and peasants they once were, grand champions of Mordrakus that stand against the evils of Nexus, but that is only to protect themselves from the reality of what they have devolved into, an army of cannibalistic ghouls and abhorrent beings that would devour all within their path and feed their hunger, and if we do not play along with their delusions, they will turn on us as well." The Fire Champion finished, his explanation causing more than a few amongst the DDF and the Dark Imperium to pale, especially when they began to hear the maddening shrieks and roars coming from beyond the horizon facing the Dark Realm's lands.

"Oh, the border cities must have been freaking out upon seeing them pass through their lands." Caleb remarked with a nervous tone, knowing full well that those cities in question had often been subject to raids from Morgaunt in order to claim their next meals.

It was then that, from over the horizon line, the soldiers and commanders of the DDF and the Dark Imperium got their first looks upon the armies or Morgaunt, and what they saw truly horrified them.

Numerous members of the horrors were hundreds, if not thousands of grey skinned humanoid beings that were either crawling on all fours or rushing forward with makeshift weapons within their possession, weapons that closely resembled the bones of their victims or rusted weapons that looked centuries old.

The creatures had yellow eyes, razor sharp teeth and elongated claws as they shrieked and screamed with a maddening rage, while those that carried their makeshift weaponry seemed to be wielding them like soldiers in an army, despite their horrid appearances.

Behind the horde of horrors, even larger versions of the ghouls charged in, each of which had bone-like spikes protruding from out of their backs and elbows, while other creatures had their arms replaced with wing-like protrusions as they flew alongside some of the bat-like creatures that some of the ghouls were using as mounts.

Alongside these nightmarish creatures were massive being that resembled a cross between a man and a bat, their elongated fangs which were the only thing allowing those who looked upon them to realize that they were vampires as they flew ahead of the hordes, generals acting like noble rulers as they lead their legions to battle.

To those who were now taking their first look upon the horrors of Morgaunt, the sight before them was both dreadful and disturbing, not only to their horrific appearances and the fact that many were using bones and severed limbs as weapons, but to the clear fact that in their minds, these monsters saw themselves as something else, denying themselves the reality of what they truly were.

Even from the safety of the Dark Ark, Kari, for all the evil she had seen, done and took control of, the sight of Morgaunt's armies left her quite disturbed.

As the hordes of ghouls and monsters rushed toward the Urgothian lines, several large beasts that resembled an undead cross between a dragon and a bat joined in the fray, before those newer to Nexus looked upon a terrifying sight that emerged from the horizon.

Larger than any of the ghouls or bestial vampires was a being around ExVeemon's height, a massive and twisted beast clad in dusty robes which had the severed skulls of his victims sown upon the cloak.

Several old and rusted rings rested upon the beast's fingers, while in his right hand the dark being held a mace made of bone, the item of which the monster held as though it was treated similar as a royal sceptre as it rested within the creature's arm.

Finally, and perhaps the most disturbing, was the creature's face, the long fangs revealing its vampiric origin, while seven bone-like spikes protruded from its head, almost resembling a crown as a dark purple gem glowed brightly upon the beast's forehead, thus giving the creature a somewhat regal, though terrifying appearance.

"Onward, noble warriors of Morgaunt! Slay the vile servants of Urgoth and remind them of the grandeur of our glorious kingdom!" The creature bellowed, its voice as menacing as its appearance, though it seemed enough to cause the ghouls and beasts to surge forward with a renewed vigour.

"Is this guy insane?" Tagiru found himself questioning as he looked between the supposed leader of these creatures and his army, definitely not seeing an army of noble knights whatsoever before him.

"Insanity does not even describe the depth of his madness." Fire Davis remarked as he looked upon the Mad King of Morgaunt, before he looked to his friends and told them with a further seriousness within his voice. "But you need to play along with that madness, otherwise they will go savage and turn on us."

Remaining silent from Fire Davis' words, the allied forces then watched as the forces of Morgaunt then slammed into the Urgothian lines, which not only ripped their enemies apart, but they also seemingly began eating away at them as well.

"Wait, what about the black blood?!" Thomas then questioned with a fair concern, fearing that these horrors now aiding them would soon be twisted into Urgothians themselves.

'That is the beauty of their cure… they are immune to the effects of the black blood…' Henry told his friends and allies, who now understood why the armies of Morgaunt were called upon to battle the Urgothian threat.

As the savage and mad forces of Morgaunt tore through the Urgothian lines, the Digi-heroes and heroines watched as the Mad King then approached the allied forces, with Vaddik and Dark Davis moving to greet the massive beast.

"Ah, dear cousin, and the lowly Shadow, it seems our arrival was indeed necessary, for only Mordrakus' true champions could handle such a threat!" The Mad King boasted with an insane laugh, where Dark Davis did his best to rein in his annoyance toward the beast's delusions.

"Dear cousin, we are most grateful for you aid in this dark hour." Vaddik then said with a respectful bow, playing into her cousin's madness as she offered with a smirk behind her mask. "Please, have your noble knights and soldiers deal with the rabble of Urgoth's spawns, while we do what we can to rid our world of his Domini."

"Very well, dear cousin, we shall show these fiends our glorious might and assist you in the event you fall against those abominations!" The Mad King declared, before expelling a high pitched and fearsome shriek as he lunged himself into the fray, swung his mace around and sent a number of Urgothians flying into the air.

Turning around and walking back to their allies, Dark Davis remarked vehemently. "I swear, if he doesn't show me respect one day, I will end him."

"You can try, Lord Shadow, but I doubt even you could get past his armies, let alone be able to get through that thick skull of his." Vaddik merely said in reply, knowing all too well that while her cousin was indeed mad, he was a force not to be reckoned with.

Arriving back behind the barriers, Dark Davis sent his variants a nod, who in turn relayed the necessary signals to the commanders of the armada.

"All forces, target the Domini and fire!" Lelouch commanded through the comms, where every airship and fortress floating above the battlefield locked onto the Domini of Fire and of Nature, before unleashing their firepower upon the beasts.

Along with the armada, every Creature of Nexus, Digimon, Appmon, D-Reaper agents and the military forces of both the DDF and the Dark Imperium joined in the assault, the forces unleashing their combined might upon the two monstrosities as well.

Locking onto the Domini from orbit, Zim unleashed the power of the Dark Ark's main guns upon the avatars of Urgoth, adding the might of his greatest creation into the mix as well.

Distracted by the swarms of Morgaunt ghouls trying to climb their forms, the Domini were too late to notice the onslaught heading their way, before both were consumed in the combined energies of their enemies' attacks, the creatures shrieking in pain and agony as their forms broke apart, transformed into the black blood and surged toward the Breach.

Seeing the Domini defeated and their forces being ripped apart, both Infernir and Velgoth expelled rage-filled roars of defiance, angered that they could not complete their mission and capture the Catalyst.

Raising their heads toward the skies and screaming in rage, the two Urgothian rulers then transformed into black blood, along with what was left of their forces as the massive sea of Urgoth's blood rushed toward the Breach, which sealed itself once the last drop had entered the vortex.

From behind the barriers and watching the hordes of Morgaunt tear through the Urgothians that were not so lucky enough to retreat, the defenders of Nexus sighed a little, knowing that the battle was over, even though it was a costly victory.

Placing a comforting hand upon Victor's shoulder, Fire Davis continued to look out toward the battlefield and knew that the war was not over yet, and it would not be unless they could either stop the Breaches from forming, or Urgoth would claim Kari within his claws, and that is a scenario none of the Davises would allow, no matter the cost.
