Time to continue spending the Festive week here, and for one man to have a word with someone he wishes to apologize too, and to see if there is any chance to be forgiven by some past mistakes which involved a certain "White Elephant" incident. Enjoy reading this new chapter folks!
Helluva Loud Adventures.
"The 24th of this December."
(December 24. Camp Mastodon.)
The morning is here and once again everyone is enjoying some delicious breakfast. The Silva Hound's are chatting about what's been going on with Jordan and Sam and even some messages from their friends back in hell. The Loud's seem interested hearing this.
They were informed of what hell now looks like and that it doesn't seem to sound like the horrid fiery lands of torment… because that one is located at the final ring of hell. Shelby speaks to Lincoln. "You guys got a lot of presents. Are they for the rest of you?"
Lincoln chuckles and so he explains. "Well, yeah. But we also did some return to our town shopping and we got something for you guys too. Best open it when Christmas Morning starts alright?"
Shane nods. But he sees Shelby and Shiloh trying to use puppy dog eyes because they wanna know what the presents are. Loona notices this and she smirks. "Nice try kids. But no spoilers "
Gramps then speaks. "How about we have another day of snowy fun? Also, I think there is another lake not too far where we can go fishing." He then looks to Blitz. "What do you think?"
Blitz is surprised to hear this. They all blink at the same time and see he is now wearing fishing gear. "I am so in!" seeing Blitz dressed like that so suddenly startles them.
Velvette then asks. "Have those been under ya the whole damn time?"
Lance chuckles seeing this and he smiles seeing his kids still getting along and ready to have some fun with their former family. He sighs and eats his breakfast. 'I gotta talk to him and clear the air between us. I don't wanna make things kinda bad between us Louds and those guys.'
(Later in the day.)
Blitz is at the other lake and with Leonard Loud. The duo are just relaxing as they're fishing and the boat was brought here thanks to some tread modifications since they couldn't bring it over the frozen river.
Back at camp everyone is just having some winter time fun with snowball fights, sledding, skiing, Ice hockey and snow mobiles. Yeah, snow mobiles. Something Velvette brought along because damn that's fucking awesome!
Loona races by Luna and they both continue to race each other but then Velvette goes by and she's using her snow mobile on backwards and she waves to them. Luna is so confused. "Mom. How the hell does she do that?"
"I wish I had the answer to that. But then again, Velvette is always strange." Loona and Luna pick up speed and try to catch up to her. Watching this from a snowy hill not too far from the cabins is Lincoln. He then howls and he stops and he hears howling from the distance and he smiles.
'Sounds like Dire Wolves are far from here and just going by with their business and congratulations on the new wolf pups too.'
Just then he senses something or someone coming. "Best come out now. I know you're there uncle Lance." Lincoln turns around and he sees Lance show up and he chuckles nervously. Lincoln sighs and then he asks. "What do you want?"
Lance sighs and so he explains. "Lincoln. I'm just here to talk to you. Is it alright if we just talk?"
Lincoln can tell that something is up and he nods. "Alright. Fine."
Lance nods and so he continues. "Lincoln. You're right. It was all my fault from the beginning of that White Elephant we had back then. I was a bully and thought that I could just mess with Lynnie and see what happens. But I never thought it through and this made what's been going down ever since."
"I never should've done that and then you and your family would be able to spend time with ours. But I let my stupidity get the best of me which destroyed a long time of Christmas times and fun. I know you wouldn't forgive me now, and I understand why."
"I just wanted to let you know that I see what I did and regret ever having my family to never ever come and see you guys. This was all me and I know it is too late to make some things right. But I wanna try and start now and make amends for my start-up on all this."
Lincoln can tell that he is sincere and he looks to everyone else having fun and then he speaks. "What you did back then was something truly unforgivable and I didn't understand why that happened because I was little and trying to figure out why it happened. But thing's change and I understood why it happened."
"You just couldn't be just nice to him during that time and let him have that spatula. But you took the privilege of joy to just take it from him and have him chase you. Also, if you haven't had done that then your precious bouncy sitting ball wouldn't have popped."
Lance sees where this is going and now it makes sense. Lincoln then continues. "I wanna say that I forgive you. But that's gonna be rough to deal with since we couldn't be able to see our cousins, same goes for Lola who isn't here with us anymore." Now that one makes Lance feel regret. She isn't here to see her cousins one last time.
Lincoln then looks to his claws. "We ended his life because of his stupidity and lost of sanity. We didn't give him any chances because he lost everything in the head just like his damned wife. Now they're both suffering in their own hell." He then looks to Lance Loud. "I don't think I can forgive you. The others might…. But from me, that's a whole different kind of ball game."
Lance nods. "I understand Lincoln and again I am so sorry for everything that happened and… whatever else came after. Just…. Don't pin it on your cousins…"
"I would never pin it on those who are my family still" replied Lincoln. "We might not be Louds. But I see them still as family and always will be my cousins. At least your eldest understands fully of the situation. Just do this…. Don't keep your kids away from seeing their other family. Because it'll backfire harder as time goes by."
Lance Loud nods. "Yeah. Alright I will. Thanks for letting me speak Lincoln. I appreciate that."
Lincoln nods. "Yeah. Okay." Then something else comes to his mind. Are you the reason why Lynnard is afraid of Halloween?"
Lance remains silent and is nervous and Lincoln sighs. "Of course. I saw that shit coming."
(Time skip. Night Time.)
We now see the tables combined into one for everyone to sit around and enjoy the Christmas Dinner Feast. The food is plenty and this time Lance Loud and his wife Sharon don't include any diet food and are enjoying the food that Blitz and the others have made.
They pass the food around and talk about some stuff. Even learning of what Lucifer has been doing lately after once again punishing some upstart demons trying to take conquest at some locations in hell. It's pretty annoying for Lucifer. Charlie speaks of how things are going in the hotel and same with Lori and Leni and their time with the Logann's at Tennessee.
Luna is starting her guitar and singing alongside her cousin Shane, which Lilith also joins in. Velvette shows up with the desserts, though Lily is getting sleepy from this and the same goes for Lisa. EveLynn seems keen in spending more time with Shiloh. She can see an athlete inside this kid… an athlete who needs to be careful of what he's doing.
Gramps and Blitz share stories of the fish they caught and the angry alligator which got caught in the line too. At least Vark came and saved their rears and heads from the pissed off sleepy reptile. Loona feels like she should've went with them.
Shelby looks to Lincoln. "So… when do you guys head on home?"
Lincoln smirks and he rubs her head. "Calm down there cousin. We'll see each other again. Possibly around next year too. I know for sure we can have fun and you can meet my girlfriend Jordan and see what else has changed in Royal Woods Michigan."
Shelby smiles hearing this and she hugs her cousin. Lincoln smiles and hugs her back. Loona smiles seeing this and she snaps a photo of this moment and so does Sharon. Loona then asks Sharon. "Were you the one who came up with the idea of your kids names?"
Sharon chuckles and smiles. "Guilty as charged. Lance said that he's not that good with naming." But they question why he managed to name his work out gym with that name.
Gramps goes to Lance and they see everyone getting along and he heard about Lincoln and Shelby and then he speaks to his son. "Looks like the private chat with Lincoln worked."
Lance smiles. "Kinda. But I think I'm either a long way to be forgiven or not at all. But that's fine with me. What truly matters is that our family can spend time together and not be apart."
Leonard is happy to hear this. "That's my boy." They continue to spend this night and looking forward to tomorrow.
"To be continued folks!"
A/N: At least Lance spoke what he needed to and a chance to possibly be forgiven by Lincoln as well. I guess they're going to try and put the past behind them and just enjoy everything else. I hope that you all enjoyed reading this new chapter folks!
