Chapter Two : Rise of The Phoenix

In another location within the building, a man with red hair, tall and muscular with flames resembling facial hair stood. He was named Endeavor, also known as Enji Todoroki. The man watched the news as the reporter spoke about the incident involving a villain who used slime. When Endeavor heard the name Izuku Midoriya, he pulled out his laptop and did some research. Afterward, he picked up his phone and dialed a number. Upon answering, he said, " Hello, Hisashi…"

(Meanwhile)

All Might took the boy to a more secluded place to talk. All Might said, "I want to thank you for what you did out there."

Izuku said, "You're welcome, All Might. Didn't you mention something about a proposal?"

All Might said, "I'll get to that. There's something I need to know. Now, I'm not criticizing you; I'm just curious what was going through your mind in that moment."

Izuku said, "Oh my gosh! Why aren't the pros doing anything? He's going to die! Anything after that, I was going on pure instinct."

All Might was pleased and said, "Okay, young man. Whatever I'm about to tell you is so secret that not even the government knows."

All Might lifted his shirt and showed Izuku a huge scar on his body. All Might continued, "Disgusting. I know. I got this five years ago."

Izuku said, "Five years ago? I doubt Toxic Chainsaw could do this kind of damage."

All Might said, " Wow kid you ready know your stuff. Your right that punk couldn't even hurt me. This fight I kept secret from the Media. Now I can only do hero work for three hours a day."

"Dang." Izuku said, "No offense, All Might. I'm not understanding what you're getting at."

All Might said, "Now I'm at the meat of the thing. I saw you rush in to save a child when you could have walked past him; you acted like a true hero in that moment. I'd like to train you to become my successor; my quirk is yours to inherit."

All Might gave it a few minutes before he saw Izuku just watching him expectantly. All Might said, "I expected more of a reaction."

Izuku said, "All Might, I got my quirk from a fruit. A quirk that can be transferred is nothing but barely registered on my mind-blowing scale."

All Might laughed until he realized he wasn't joking. All Might coughed and asked, "What do you say?"

Izuku calmly said, "Yes."

The next day:

We see Izuku carrying a fridge with All Might on top of it. All Might said, "I knew you'd be strong already, but not at this level yet."

Izuku had given All Might the full run-down on what he could do, the devil fruits, and explained that most, if not all, devil fruit users probably did the same thing Marco did.

When All Might found the book that Izuku had also discovered doubled as a devil fruit encyclopedia. He had Izuku make copies of that section so he could be better prepared if he ever came across one. He shuddered to think what would happen if the Hito Hito no Mi: Model Nika (Human Human Fruit: Model Nika) fell into the wrong hands and hoped whoever the user was, they had someone hidden it well.

(Scene changed)

On an island in the northernmost part of the China Sea, hidden beneath the formerly known as Laugh Tale, now called Lian Yu. The fruit was in the Caverns deep underground the lays a fruit that has been all but lost to time.

A.N: ( I could not resist he irony like how the blues refer to the grand line as the pirate graveyard while the new world call it the first paradise. No there was no Oliver Queen I'm just using the island.)

(Back to Izuku)

The boy was doing his training when All Might wanted to give him the quirk. Halfway through the training, Izuku tried several times but couldn't figure it out. Finally, he asked, "Is there anyone else who can help with this?"

All Might was shaking in fear and said with a stutter, " Th… The…. There… is one… his… names… is… Sorahiko Torino… his hero… name… was… Gran… Gran… T… .Tor….ino."

Finally getting his body under control, he continued, "I must warn you: he was my personal mentor, and Gran Torino's idea of training is the personification of what doesn't kill makes you stronger."

True to his word Gran Torino was brutal in his train especially when he found out that that Izuku could heal himself but it did the job.

(A Few Days Later)

Izuku was sitting in the principal's office waiting to talk to him. The Principal asked, "I was recently made aware of your updated quirk status. What I want to know is why we weren't aware of it?"

Izuku replied, "I am under no legal obligation to inform you of any changes I make to my personal records under the privacy act. While I don't have to tell you, the government will send the update to you in either hard copy or soft copy so you can file it. Which makes me wonder what happened to that information?"

Izuku knew exactly what happened... Ok, more like Accurately guessed what happened; they filed it without reading it. True to his thoughts, it was that exact thing that happened.

Izuku's trouble of the day did not end there, Katsuki Bakugo was right on his heel looking to start something, Katsuki said, " Alright you useless piece of shit how the hell you have a quirk and why didn't you tell me?"

" Why should?" this was Izuku's rebuttal, " Bakugo we haven't been friends of years we aren't even on speaking terms. Even if we were I don't owe you anything. You think the revolves around you guess it does not! YOU WANT THE NUMBER ONE POSITION SO BADLY YOU CAN HAVE IT! I don't care about it so while your fighting for a position I'll be out there save life, helping people who really need it after all if the world is going to have an Endeavor for number one at least they'll have me to help clean up your messes!"
