I also want to express my apologies for not updating this month. If you weren't on discord, I had to deal with something personal, which threw off the whole schedule and I didn't want to leave you hanging. No theme song this update because it's been a crazy month. Have fun reading!
Last time on Poké Rangers Dino Charge…
The rangers faced Lionel, Leona's brother as he teamed up with Gircannon to find the crystals. Due to Ferro Fett's failure, Gircannon turns Ferro Fett into a monster and uses his ship's true form to destroy the rangers. However, with help, Ferro Fett was defeated by Aurorus after using the Violet Energy Crystal. It's powers are still temporary due to no one bonding. Who is the lucky candidate? Giraton, which now transformed back into Ferro Fett's ship, was floating across Earth's orbit. For Maracturne, Turnchou and Cremelia, a lot of unprecedented events happened in a matter of days. To have the ultimate plan of Aurorus foiled and as a result, destroy their own commander, it was very scary to see what was going on. Turnchou was looking at the empty chair, looking down as he turned to the others, "I can't believe our captain is gone."
"Those rangers are really starting to anger me," said Cremelia, looking at her cake blaster, "I can't wait to finish them off!"
Maracturne turned around as he looked at Cremelia, "Don't worry. I hope to have the first kill."
Turnchou turned to the two of them, "We need to fight together! We won't let those rangers get away with this."
The three villains stood together as they nodded in silence. Maracturne rubbed his chin as he looked around. The main reason they were here was to find Shockhound and Gircannon, but it seems they were nowhere to be found. Maracturne sighed as he turned to them, "So, where are those two?"
"Who knows… maybe Gircannon is plotting something and needs Shockhound," Turnchou replied.
"While that's going on… I will be more than happy to take revenge," a voice said in the shadows. Turnchou froze as he spun around. He gulped, noticing Lionel. Lionel grinned as he looked at Turnchou. Turning to Icewolf, Lionel walked over as he went toward the villains, "Just because Shockhound and Gircannon aren't here, doesn't mean sitting here and twiddling our thumbs is going to be helpful. We need to get started."
"How?" asked Maracturne.
Lionel grinned as he looked at him, "Watch me."
Chapter 26: Shades of Violet
Meanwhile…
Samba music filled Dino Paradise as the rangers were celebrating a mini victory in their own hideout. Drake grinned as he was sitting in the chair across from the table. Roark and Jo were standing together as Joe was pouring champagne into eleven glasses. Professor Rowan was also there, excited to hear the news as Joe passed them out. He grinned as he stretched his arm, "To Josephine, for creating our weapons. To Drake, for helping us find the crystals so far. And to us, for defeating one of the mega villains, leaving a big victory for Sinnoh."
"CHEERS!"
As the glasses clanged together, the rangers were sipping on the glasses, glasses filled with some type of champagne. Professor Rowan turned around as he saw all nine energy crystals, "This is amazing everyone. The fact that you were able to pick up all 9 of them… that must be exhilarating."
"Thank you!" said Lisa, grinning, looking at the last slot. Lisa turned to Leona as she walked toward Rowan, "And now to complete your dream, we need to find the last crystal."
"Ah, in Archeops, right?" asked Rowan.
"Yeah," said Leona, looking at the slot, "And the secrets will be revealed, and you can complete your research."
As she was super excited about what was going on, Drake stood quietly. He knew there were secrets when you put all ten together. He just didn't want to let people know what was going on about it. Drake leaned over, noticing Jo was looking at the violet crystal. Shaking her head, she turned around as she looked at it. Joe, who was hanging out with Grayson and Atticus, turned around as Jo went to walk away.
"It seems she's bummed," said Atticus.
"Well, I think the issue is that she cracked the code to unlock Aurorus… but the crystal wouldn't connect with her," said Grayson.
"That's a shame…," Atticus, looking at the green ranger, "But, she should be the next ranger."
Joe turned around as he looked at them, "Come on, bros. We need to do something to help."
"How?" asked Atticus, raising an eyebrow.
Joe sighed as he turned to them, "That's why I asked you."
Grayson rolled his eyes as he turned to Joe, "Well, you mentioned it."
Joe grinned as he looked at Grayson. Atticus, shaking his head, headed over toward them as he went to talk, "Each of us were chosen because the energy crystals found us worthy, granted we all had near death experiences."
"Not… Kyland or Thomas though," said Grayson, "Or Leona and Lisa… Mack is an exception with what happened to him."
"What if she's not confident in her abilities?" asked Atticus.
"Her abilities?" asked Joe, "Like not believing in herself?"
The blue ranger nodded as he went to continue. He looked up as he went to talk to Jo. Jo turned around as he looked at Atticus. Atticus grinned as he looked at the Poké Ball, "So, Josephine, I had a question. Would you like to have a Pokémon Battle?"
"A Pokémon Battle? Why?" asked Jo.
"Or…. How about a 1 on 1 duel?" asked Grayson, grinning.
"Or… how about riding on Zebstrika or Rapidash?" asked Joe, looking at the others. Mack turned around as he looked at Grayson and then at Joe. Mack turned around as he looked at Jo, "Or challenge me."
Lisa turned around, overhearing their conversation as she walked toward them, "Hold up… too much guys. How about I show you how aromatherapy can affect Pokémon?"
Jo's face began to turn into a light shade of red. She grinned as she looked at both of them, "Thanks but… you are asking way too much of me."
She turned around as she headed away from them, walking toward the exit. The four rangers looked at each other in confusion as they saw Jo disappear. Lisa turned to them as she looked at them, "Look what you've done."
"We were trying to boost some confidence in her," said Joe, "After all, we think she is deemed worthy of the crystal."
Lisa turned around to the exit and then at Joe, "But, we can't be pushy. After all, she just met us, right? It wouldn't be fair to just throw her in the deep end."
Lisa turned around as she stretched out her arm. The pink energy crystal caught her hand as she walked toward the exit. Placing the Fossil Blaster down, she pulled the trigger as she teleported out. Grayson and Atticus looked at Joe as he grinned nervously. Mack turned around as he looked at Joe. All three slugged him in the face. Joe looked up with some bruises, "Ugh… why?"
"It was your idea," said Grayson, walking away from him.
Later…
Jo was walking along the mountain ridge alongside Mt. Coronet. Looking up, she was seeing the bright sun hit the reflection of the rock walls. She turned around as she was looking at everything. Deep down inside, she didn't want to admit it, but she was hoping that she would be the candidate for the violet crystal after everything she went through. But as the rangers said, the crystals chose the ranger. As she sat along the rock wall, she sighed as she was looking at the pebbles. Grabbing one, she threw it across the rock wall as she shook her head.
"Why so angry?"
Jo looked up as heard a familiar voice. She turned around as she saw Icewolf, his claws were sharpened and ready to fight, "So, how does it feel to be so lonely?"
Jo freaked out as she stumbled back. As she was walking backwards, Icewolf went to strike with his claws. Jo dodged the attack as she rolled across. Icewolf turned around as he looked at her, "What's wrong? The tech geek can't stop a monster? Well… YOU'RE RIGHT!"
Stretching his hand to strike, a blast of energy struck Icewolf in the chest. Jo turned around as Lisa arrived with her Fossil Blaster. Stopping, she turned around as she helped Jo, "Are you okay?"
Jo nodded as Lisa turned to Icewolf, "Hey, wolfie! How about you pick on someone your own size? Fossil Charger, Energize!"
Spinning around, she placed the Fossil Charger in her Fossil Blaster. Pointing the blaster upward to the sky, she spun the blaster. A pink aura surrounded it as she pulled the trigger, "Unleash the Power!"
Pulling the trigger, a Bastiodon was unleashed as she transformed into her suit. She struck her pose as she went to face Icewolf. Icewolf laughed as he snapped his fingers. Blue lightning bolts appeared as similar creatures appeared. Blue and white Qwilfish creatures arrived, carrying a purple and pink staff. Their eyes were golden as they turned around to look at each other.
"Great… just great," she said, looking at them as they went to swing. As one of them swung, Lisa dodged the attack and turned around. She then took out her Fossil Blaster, shooting them. However, they just stumbled. She turned around as she stood in front of Jo. Lisa turned around as she used her Fossil Saber, slashing them down. However, they were a little tough around the edges as she was struck. Lisa turned around as she then dragged her blaster along her right shoulder.
"Dino Armor, engage!"
As her Bastiodon Drill appeared, she dashed straight forward, drilling one of the Mega Mooks in the chest. As the Mega Mook exploded, the others headed toward Lisa. Lisa went to target the next one, only for a blast of blue energy to pierce the back of one. Lisa turned around as Atticus had his Fossil Blaster in hand. Joe, Grayson and Leona arrived to finish the job.
Joe and Leona turned to shoot down the last of the Mega Mooks. Joe immediately went toward Icewolf with his Armaldo Blaster. However, Icewolf grabbed onto his arm and slashed him from behind. Joe landed on the ground as Leona went to use her Tyrantrum Fang. Slashing Icewolf across, Icewolf spun around as he landed on the ground. Leona turned to face him as she stretched out her claw.
"I can defeat you once and I can defeat you again…" the red ranger stated as she aimed her weapon at Icewolf. Icewolf groaned as he went to strike, only for Turnchou to appear. Turnchou pressed a button as a red aura surrounded Icewolf, teleporting him to a different location. Turnchou turned around as he released a blue beam of energy from his blaster, shooting Joe and Leona in the chest. Joe used his Armaldo Blaster to hold his fall as he went toward him. Turnchou laughed as he looked at the black ranger, struggling to get up. Turning around, he noticed Maracturne and Cremelia with their weapons.
"Let's try something new," he said, "Icewolf?"
Jo, who was watching, turned around as Icewolf teleported in a flash of red light. Before the others could do anything, Icewolf released a powerful blast of ice energy. Jo screamed as she transformed into a hard iceberg. Laughing, Turnchou turned around as his energy blaster began to charge, stabbing into Joe's chest. Turnchou grinned as he looked at Joe closely.
"Say goodbye, Cartwright…" he said, pulling the trigger.
A blue bolt of energy exploded around Joe as he landed on the ground. Explosions surrounded him as Joe fell to the dirt. A black aura surrounded him as Joe was unmorphed. Turnchou laughed as the other rangers watched.
"What did you do?" asked Leona.
"Simple…" he said, laughing as he looked at his blaster, "I set my magnet blaster to overload… when it does it… it can automatically knock out or destroy any armor. In this case, it can destroy your armor … now, Maracturne?"
Maracturne grinned as he pressed a few buttons on his tablet. A blue aura surrounded his magnet blaster as he turned to the other rangers. Joe turned around, struggling to get up as the others rushed over. Turnchou grinned as he pulled the trigger. A blue beam straight across, headed straight toward the ground. Within seconds, five major explosions appeared. Turnchou laughed as he was looking at the explosion chain. Laughing maniacally, he turned around as Maracturne and Cremelia were quietly impressed. Turnchou grinned as he turned around to speak to the others.
"You see… Lionel's plans were really good to begin with!" said Turnchou.
"Yeah… his suggestions were helpful. They wouldn't have been able to survive!" said Cremelia, grinning as she turned to Icewolf, "Now, let's bring that scientist somewhere where we can get the rest of those crystals. Then, Gircannon and Lionel can do whatever they want to this planet."
Meanwhile…
"Wake up guys!"
Joe's eyes opened up as he looked up. He noticed bright white lights as he saw a few rock formations. Looking up, he noticed a Geodude jumping up and down. Joe coughed as he carefully got up. Turning around, he noticed that he has seen some of the familiar things. Rock formations, a battlefield and spotlights. Without a doubt, he was in the Oreburgh Gym. Roark turned around as the others managed to get up. Atticus turned to Roark as he walked over toward him, "How did we end up here?"
"Simple. With Turnchou and Lionel being so crafty, I decided to use some of what we had at Dino Paradise to teleport you here," said Roark, "Turnchou's gotten crafty."
"So, we saw," said Grayson, turning to the gym leader, "And now… Jo is captured."
Lisa turned around as she looked at the others, "Yeah, it looks like they took Jo as bait to find the other crystals."
"They probably thought we were dead," said Leona, looking at the others, "So, of course they failed to check."
Atticus stopped as he went to process what she said, "Yeah, if they thought we were dead, why didn't they take our crystals?"
"Good point," said Lisa, turning to the others. Leona turned around as she looked at the team, "We need to go search for Jo. Roark, can you contact the others?"
Roark nodded as he turned around to look at the red ranger. He shrugged as he went to reach for his Dino Com, "Yeah. Do you have a plan in mind?"
Leona grinned as she turned to the others, "Oh yeah. We are going to get Jo!"
"And this time, stop Icewolf and Turnchou from doing more devastation," said Atticus, looking at Roark. Roark nodded as he turned to the others, "There is something you should know…"
He opened his laptop as he turned around to look at them. The other rangers hovered over as Roark popped up a map of Sinnoh on his screen. The rangers watched as he zoomed in on the region, specifically Oreburgh City. Immediately, there was a violet blip in the middle of town. Leona turned around as she looked at Roark, "How?"
"Her Dino Com is active through the block of ice," Roark said, "If we can work together to unfreeze Jo, we can save her and stop Icewolf."
"Well," said Leona, turning around, "Daylight's burning! We have a friend to save!"
The rangers nodded in response. They turned around as they headed toward the exit. The doors opened as the rangers started heading toward the location where Jo was located. Roark turned around as he headed over toward his laptop. Pressing a few buttons, he managed to receive word from Mack, Thomas and Kyland, who were waiting patiently to figure out what in the world was going on.
"Hello gentlemen," said Roark, "Meet the others at Oreburgh Warehouse. Leona plans on saving Jo before the villains destroy her and steal the violet crystal secrets."
Meanwhile…
Oreburgh Warehouse, a location not known to many travelers was located on the farthest end of town, almost on the mountain range of Mt. Coronet. The warehouse was grey with brown roofing and the exterior had abandoned shutters with yellow and black canisters. Inside the warehouse, there were flickering lights. In the center, Mega Mooks were circling around with their weapons. The Mooks were also there as they had Jo tied up to a pole. Jo cringed as she turned around to look at Icewolf, who was walking toward her.
"So… where are the energy crystals?" he asked.
"I don't know," said Jo, looking at him. Icewolf laughed as he raised his claw and smacked her in the face. Jo felt the cold palm print on her face as Icewolf turned to her, "I don't believe you…"
He stretched out his claw, releasing a beam of ice. The beam of ice hit her feet as her feet turned to a block of ice. Jo looked down, noticing the frostiness of the mini glacier that was on her feet. Icewolf walked forward as he went to speak, "Every time you lie, I will continue freezing… after all we did defrost you a while ago… now… talk."
While the conversation was going on, the continuation of the interrogation continued. As Jo was interrogated, Grayson and Atticus started walking outside the warehouse. As they were heading toward the front, Grayson turned to his right. He noticed the Mooks, standing guard. Atticus grabbed Grayson and threw him behind a random bush. Grayson looked up as Atticus crouched down.
"I could have slashed them," said Grayson, softly as he went to look at the group.
"Yeah, but we need to wait for Leona…," said Atticus, looking at the green ranger.
"What about Leona?"
The rangers turned around as Joe was walking toward them. Joe crouched down as he went toward the group, looking at the two rangers confused as Joe was curious, "Well?"
"We are waiting for Leona's signal…," said Atticus, raising an eyebrow.
Looking through the bushes, Grayson, Joe and Atticus were watching as Mack was standing above them, his feet on a branch as he was looking overhead. He turned to reach for his Dino Com, "All clear here…"
"Good," Leona said over on the other side, "Obviously they have no security in the back."
"That's because they are really dumb to not surround their security," said Joe, looking at the Dino Com.
"Precisely," Lisa said over the intercom. Lisa was sitting on the mountain edge, looking at the warehouse, "It looks totally empty here."
"You would think after what happened they would beef it up," said Atticus, looking at the place, "Now, where do we go?"
"Well… simple… I am waiting for Thomas… whenever he gets here," said Leona, looking at the Dino Com, "Thomas, where are you?"
No sooner Leona went to ask, there was a sound of a motor engine. Leona turned around as the white lights were illuminating the road. As the lights turned off, Joe turned around as he saw some shadow like vehicle that was parked. Opening the door, Thomas turned around as he looked at the others. The rangers hopped over as they all were standing together. Thomas grinned as he looked at the hood of the car.
"What is this?" asked Leona.
"Simple. The Teslario… a vehicle that runs specifically on Lucario's aura," said Thomas, grinning, "It was a prototype that I built."
"So, even the prince can be a technician," Mack said, grinning. Kyland arrived as he went to speak to them. The Aqua Ranger grinned as he walked over to speak to them. He crossed his arms as he went to continue his conversation, "This also has a cloaking device."
"Cloaking?" asked Joe, "Like going invisible?"
"Yep," said Thomas.
Leona grinned, hearing this, "If we can get in undetected, we can barge in and take Jo."
"And how do we plan on barging in? They are going to see the car," said Kyland, looking at Leona. Thomas waved a finger as he turned around, "You see… I put a teleportation device in the car. Lock on to Jo, teleport her…"
"And how did you get that technology?" asked Atticus.
Thomas raised his finger, "I never reveal my secrets. Now, get in the car."
As the doors opened, the seven rangers managed to fit in the car together. As Thomas got in the front seat, Kyland sat next to him in the front. Leona, Atticus and Grayson were in the back with Mack and Joe behind. Joe turned around as he looked at his Dino Com, "Lisa, we are in the vehicle. Where are you?"
"Next to the back door…" Lisa said, "All empty."
Thomas turned around as he went to grab the keys, turning on the engine. The ignition turned on as the engine started to move. Kyland walked over as he pressed a green button, immediately, the shadow vehicle began to glow in a green aura, disappearing. The vehicle swung around the area, not making a sound for the other Mooks. As the vehicle wrapped around, Lisa turned as something was inches away. As the car stopped, the door opened as Lisa walked into the back. Lisa noticed nothing but a hole. Joe reached his hand and grabbed Lisa as the trunk closed. Lisa turned around as she looked at the area, "What are we doing?"
"Simple… Operation: A-Team," said Thomas, pressing the music in the background. Joe rolled his eyes as he looked at Thomas, "Seriously?"
Leona grinned as she looked at him, "I like it when a plan comes together."
Atticus rolled his eyes as he turned to the red ranger. Laughing, Thomas floored it as he dashed through the warehouse. The cloak disengaged as the car rammed into the warehouse. Actually, the car was more like a van when it was illuminated by the light. It was a black van with red stripes and blue streaks. Jo turned around as she was now half frozen. The van continued driving through, running some of the Mega Mooks over.
"Initiating transport," said Kyland, pressing the button.
A green aura surrounded Jo as Icewolf turned around. Before Icewolf could grab her, she was already in the van. Icewolf turned around as he used his claws, "Take this!"
Releasing ice attacks from his claws, Thomas drove around as he turned around. He pressed a red button on the driver's dashboard. Rockets emerged out as canisters exploded. The Mega Mooks screamed with Icewolf squirming around. As the van crashed into the other side of the wall, a green aura surrounded it as the van disappeared. The rangers held on as Jo crash landed on the floor. As the door swung open, Jo screamed as she landed on the ground, the ice smashed upon impact as the van made a complete stop. Joe dashed out as he went over to help her. As the others went over, Jo carefully tried to get up. Getting up on two legs, Jo managed to run toward Joe. However, an ice attack occurred from behind. Joe, watching, jumped up as he went toward the blast. Jo turned around as he was hit. Landing on the ground, Joe's chest was hit as he was stuck in a block of ice. Icewolf laughed as he looked at them, "That was excellent."
Icewolf grinned as he turned around toward Jo, "Now… where are the crystals…"
Icewolf turned around as he looked at Joe, who had the black crystal around his neck. Grinning, he walked over to grab it. Stretching his claw, Jo dashed forward as she jumped in, holding on to the arm. Jo screamed as she tried to fight him off, Icewolf threw her down. He then went over to grab Joe. Jo turned around as she tried to find something or anything. She dashed forward as she grabbed Icewolf. Icewolf snarled as he threw her down. Icewolf turned around as he stretched his claw.
"I'm through with you!"
"JO!" shouted Joe.
As the claw went toward Jo, Jo screamed as she tried to stop the attack. Upon impact, Jo froze as a violet aura surrounded her. Icewolf stood in surprise as a violet energy broke out. Joe turned around as he noticed his body melt. Joe walked over as Jo was covered in a violet veil. The other rangers hopped out of the van, uncloaking as they walked over. Kyland and Thomas stood in awe as she looked at herself. The violet crystal materialized as it went toward her. Leona and Lisa nodded as they turned to Icewolf.
"Looks like the violet crystal finally bonded with Jo," said Grayson, grinning, "Called it!"
Jo turned around as she looked over. Grayson grinned as he reached into his pocket. Inside his pocket, he picked up three violet chargers with the number 9 on them. Jo grinned as she picked them up. She also had the Fossil Blaster that Lisa picked up for her. Jo looked at them as she turned to the crew, "You were waiting…"
"You didn't believe us, but we knew you were one of us," said Leona, looking at Jo, "And now, you can use your skills to help us beat these guys."
Jo grinned as she turned toward them, "Well, let's give Icewolf some payback."
Suddenly, red and blue lightning bolts struck from the sky. The rangers ducked as Lionel arrived to meet up with Icewolf. Lionel snarled as he withdrew his saber, "What's taking you so long?"
"Simple. The violet crystal bonded with her… the scientist of the Poké Rangers!"
Lionel's face darted directly at the rangers. He stepped forward as Jo stepped forward, "You have some nerve to get into our affairs."
"And I am tired of you destroying our planet," said Jo, turning to the others, "Are we going to stand there or are we fighting?"
Without stuttering, the other eight rangers stood next to Jo as she took out her Fossil Charger, "Let's Poké Battle! Fossil Charger, Energize!"
As she pressed the charger, a violet surge surrounded the crystal that connected with her into the charger. The nine rangers did a dance as they spun around, placing the chargers in the blasters.

The rangers spun the morphers and placed them up in the air, "Unleash the Power!"
Pulling the trigger, nine beams of light surrounded the rangers as they transformed into their suits. A violet background surrounded Jo as an Aurorus surrounded her, transforming into her suit. Her suit was the same as the other eight. She had a purple skirt attached under the belt and her helmet was shaped like an Aurorus.
"Tyrantrum! Dino Charge Red!"
"Armaldo! Dino Charge Black!"
"Carracosta! Dino Charge Blue!"
"Kabutops! Dino Charge Green!"
"Bastiodon! Dino Charge Pink!"
"Aerodactyl! Dino Charge Gold!"
"Omastar! Dino Charge Aqua!"
"Rampardos! Dino Charge Grey!"
"Aurorus! Dino Charge Violet!"
"Poké Rangers Dino Charge!"
As they completed their poses, explosions surrounded them as they turned around toward Icewolf and Lionel. Leona stepped forward as she looked at the team, "It's about to get wild!"
"Mooks, Mega Mooks… destroy them!" shouted Icewolf.
Mooks and Mega Mooks sprouted from all over locations as they headed toward them. Immediately, Mack used his Golden Amber Saber to strike some of them. Jo turned around as she looked at her Fossil Blaster, "I think it's time to try this!"
"Dino Armor, Engage!"
The eight rangers brought out their weapons. For Jo, she managed to receive a violet dual rocket launcher with blue and white lines. She aimed her weapon as she turned to the others, "Aurorus Bazooka!"
The Mega Mooks started heading toward her. Jo turned around and pulled the trigger, shooting the Mega Mooks down. As they stumbled, they continued walking toward her with weapons. Using the Aurorus Bazooka, she pulled the trigger as rockets launched, causing the creatures to land on the ground. Turning, more Mooks were heading toward her. Without question, she pressed a green button. Pulling the trigger, flame like rockets released, hitting the creatures. Flames engulfed them as they landed on the ground. She turned around as she released more rockets from her weapon, destroying them. She laughed as she kicked repeatedly, knocking them out. Jo turned around as she noticed Joe flying backwards, landing on her feet. Jo grabbed him by the shoulder as Joe noticed a Mook aiming toward her. Joe used his Armaldo Blaster to shoot It down. As a few were coming toward them, Jo turned around as she raised her Aurorus Bazooka. Pulling the trigger, red rockets launched up and over, causing explosions around the area. Joe watched in awe as Jo turned around with her weapon, "Hook, line and sinker."
Lionel charged forward with his saber, swinging it at Kyland and Thomas. Kyland and Thomas ducked with the blades and charged forward with their Fossil Sabers. Lionel blocked each attack and then struck the two of them with each slash. Kyland turned around as he placed a Fossil Charger in the Fossil Saber. An aqua aura surrounded the saber as Kyland went in for the attack. Lionel released a red and blue energy beam from his saber. Kyland leapt up and flipped over, dodging the attack. Kyland raised his saber and slashed Lionel down. Lionel stumbled backwards as Thomas used his Rampardos Gloves to throw a jab at Lionel. Lionel was hit hard as he landed on the ground, coughing and wheezing.
"This is going to be fun!" shouted Icewolf, releasing beams of ice.
Jo blocked each attack with her Fossil Saber. As she blocked each attack, she turned around as she stretched out her Aurorus Bazooka. She pressed a green button as a Fossil Charger slot appeared in the back. Jo looked up as she took out her violet charger.
"Aurorus Charger, Energize!"
Pressing the button, a violet surge of energy surrounded the charger as she placed the charger in the slot. She then sealed it and pressed a red button. A green scope appeared as she aimed her weapon at Icewolf.
"Hyper Beam!"
Pulling the trigger, two purple beams struck out as Icewolf was hit. Icewolf screamed as explosions surrounded him, causing flames and eruptions to appear on the ground. Grinning, Jo turned around as she raised her Aurorus Bazooka to the sky. The other rangers were impressed as they walked over to greet her.
"Damn that has good firepower!" Joe said in surprise.
"That was awesome, girl! You got this!" Lisa said, giving Jo a high five.
Leona grinned as she turned around to look at her, "I'm so glad we have another lady on this team."
The male rangers rolled their eyes as Jo turned around, glaring at them, "And you men have a lot to learn."
"No, YOU have a lot to learn," a voice said in the background. Jo turned toward Lionel as he revealed his red and black smartwatch. Pressing the red M on the watch, a green aura struck from the sky. Icewolf began to grow mega-sized as he looked around.
"I guess it's time for another smashing!" shouted Icewolf.
Jo turned around as she looked at both Thomas and Leona. The two rangers nodded as the three rangers stood in a line. The three of them released their chargers.
"Tyrantrum…"
"Rampardos…"
"Aurorus…"
"I Choose You!"
Throwing their chargers across, red, grey and violet auras surrounded them as a Tyrantrum, Rampardos and Aurorus landed on the ground. Icewolf laughed as he released a beam of ice at the three zords. Aurorus released a rainbow beam, counterattacking Icewolf. Icewolf looked up as Tyrantrum and Rampardos used their tails and smacked the creature down. The creature yelled as the three zords stood together to strike.
"Aurora Change! Rocket Charge Megazord!"
A violet aura surrounded Aurorus as the zord began to roar. The tail of Aurorus detached as the legs began to shrink. The bottom half of the Aurorus Zord began to lower, revealing metallic legs and feet. The Aurous head moved to the front of the zord. The upper legs rotated to become arms. Silver and violet fests were generated from Aurorus as the tail connected to the left arm. A bluish-purplish head appeared with green eyes as a rainbow-like aura surrounded the back of the Megazord.
"Rocket Charge Megazord, battle ready!"
The Rocket Charge Megazord went to throw a punch, only for Icewolf to jump up quickly. Icewolf slashed the Megazord as he turned to strike Tyrantrum. Tyrantrum opened its mouth, held on to Icewolf, causing sparks to fly. Rampardos used its head and forced the creature down, using his headbutt. Explosions surrounded the creature as he landed on the ground. As Icewolf started to fall, Tyrantrum roared as the Rocket Charge Megazord watched.
"Hey…," said Leona, "What's going on?"
Jo turned around as she was in the cockpit, looking at it with her computer, "As I predicted… Thomas, Leona… let's combine."
"Combine?" asked Leona and Thomas.
"Yes!" Jo responded, "Tri-Fossil Fusion!"
Quickly, the Rocket Charge Megazord transformed back into Aurorus. Immediately, Tyrantrum opened its mouth. Grey and violet energy surrounded the Aurorus and Rampardos as Tyrantrum ingested the energy. A red aura surrounded the Tyrantrum as the legs began to rise higher, seeing robotic feet. The Tyrantrum Zord roared as the upper body rotated, leaving the tail to be the left side and the head of the zord on the right. Rampardos folded its arms and legs. His body turned around as the tail was facing toward the back, but the head was the hand. The Aurorus shrunk its legs as it split apart. The Aurorus neck connected to the other side of the Megazord. The body of Aurorus connected to the back of the Megazord, creating two rocket engines. A human head popped out of the body. It was a silver head with a red helmet that looked like a Tyrantrum helmet. Green eyes glowed as it started jumping.
"Rocket Puncher Megazord, Battle Ready!"
Leona, Thomas and Jo turned around as she snapped her fingers. Immediately, the other rangers arrived in the cockpit. Joe turned around as he looked at it. It was a violet background with an aurora color. The cockpit had white stars around it as Joe turned to Jo, "You did this?"
"This was not me…," said Jo, turning to Leona.
Icewolf turned around as he used his claws. A white glow surrounded his claws as a major blizzard was unleashed. Jo turned around as she pressed a few buttons. The engines ignited as the Rocket Puncher Megazord launched from the ground, missing the attack. Flying across, Thomas quickly withdrew his saber. Striking across, the Rampardos head smashed into Icewolf repeatedly. As Icewolf stumbled, Leona pressed a few buttons on the console.
"Spectral Beam!"
The Tyrantrum mouth opened as rainbow energy beams swirled around, piercing Icewolf in the stomach. As Icewolf began to stumble, every ranger took out their Fossil Blaster. A screen appeared as two red crosshairs appeared. As they combined into one target, the three spun the blasters.
"Rocket Puncher Megazord, Meteor Finish!"
3… 2… 1… LIFT-OFF!
The engines ignited as a ruby aura surrounded the Rocket Puncher Megazord. Increasing speed, a streak of red went straight toward Icewolf. Slowing down, the Aurorus part of the Megazord struck down as explosions appeared. Spinning around, the Rampardos head smashed Icewolf across. As Icewolf flew across, the Tyrantrum opened its mouth as rainbow meteors struck Icewolf. Explosions appeared as the Rocket Puncher Megazord stood down, seeing the flames and meteors fly everywhere.
"And that's how we end things," said Leona, grinning as she turned to the others.
Dino Paradise…
The rangers returned to their hideout, excited as Jo appeared behind them. As the rangers stretched out their hands, all of their crystals appeared on the charge ports. Jo grinned as she was looking at the crystals. All of them were shimmering as Drake was looking at them, "Great job, Josephine."
"Thank you, Drake," said Jo, turning to the others, "Actually, all of you… for having faith in me."
"You did it, not us," said Joe, walking over. Jo grinned as she turned to Joe, shaking her head as she turned to meet the others. Kyland grinned as he turned to the empty slot, "I am looking at this… so we really need that one slot left!"
"Yeah, and I wonder what secrets will be unlocked when we can save Sinnoh for a change!" said Atticus, turning around as he turned to the others.
Jo sighed as she turned to the others, "Even so… we really need to be on our guard after everything that has happened."
"That is true…," said Leona, turning to Jo.
Grayson nodded as he turned to the others, "Yeah, I don't know about you but between Ferro Fett, Gircannon, the fact that the ship that Ferro Fett used was one of Gircannon's fleet ships…. It's too close for comfort."
Jo nodded, "Precisely. I will have to do some things tomorrow to get us ready for anything."
"What do you mean?" asked Kyland.
"Well… I have some things that Drake and I were talking about and well… it did get interrupted when my base was destroyed. Luckily, Dino Paradise has my info, so I can continue my work… but first," said Jo, walking over to a cabinet. Joe looked at Jo as she opened the cabinet and took out a wine glass and a bottle of Mt. Moon Rosé, "After everything that happened the past two days, I need to unwind."
Kyland froze as he looked at Jo sitting down, pouring a glass. He was hoping to learn more, but Jo wanted to keep it a secret for now. Joe walked over as he pressed his hand on Kyland's shoulder, "Don't worry, Ky… she has secrets she will never tell us. I know for sure…"
Jo raised an eyebrow, looking at the black ranger, "Flattery is going to get you nowhere. Now, are we going to celebrate or talk more ranger stuff? I want to unwind."
Meanwhile…
"Those damn rangers did it again… and they really did it!"
The sound of Lionel's voice echoed throughout the ship. As the door opened to the bridge, Lionel arrived as he noticed Turnchou, Cremelia and Maracturne, who were frozen in response to what was going on.
"What happened?" asked Cremelia.
"Those rangers have nine crystals… there's only one left… even without Ferro Fett they can still destroy us!" said Lionel.
"That's not good…," said Turnchou, looking at the others, "We need Shockhound back so we can devise a plan!"
"But, he's been missing for a while," said Maracturne, turning around. Before he could speak, the ship started rumbling. The ship started to lift from the ground as the three villains were hanging on. Lionel sat down as he gulped, trying to figure out what was going on. Immediately, the ship began to glow in a violet aura as a black hole formed. The hole created a vacuum like feeling as the ship was sucked through. As the ship was engulfed, it was heading straight toward a purple aura. The ship was floating through as the screen turned on. Maracturne watched as he saw buildings upside down and things upside down. There were grey and black structures of unknown origin, which made Lionel curious.
"What is this?" asked Lionel.
Turnchou looked it up, "I think I saw it in a book when I went to attack Earth. There's a myth of a dimension on Earth that can twist things around."
"Twist things around, eh?" asked Maracturne, "Like a distortion."
"Yeah, this could be the Distortion World…," said Turnchou.
The villains turned around as they were looking at the screen. There was a vicious laugh in the background of the Distortion World…

The rangers are in peril when they all go to sleep, only knowing that their dreams have turned to nightmares. The rangers try to find a way to figure this out. The question is how will they stop these roller coasters of nightmares?
Poké Rangers Dino Charge Chapter 27: Nightmare in Oreburgh City
A/N: So, we have finally found a new ranger to bond with Aurorus! It was Jo from the beginning…. But she had to prove herself worthy. Well, now there are nine rangers and one more to go! We are going to take a little break though from searching for the tenth crystal because there's a lot happening, but doesn't mean its not super exciting!
This was also the first episode I adapted from "Super Dino Charge"… well, loosely… with how this 4 part arc happened, it blended through. So, now the next chapters till the end are going to be adapted from there.

*Monsters- We got a decent amount, but the more the merrier.
*Rangers- I have at least one submission of each (1 Red, 2 Yellow... got to look at which one would work, 1 Blue, 1 Quantum) You are more than welcome to submit more in those colors... but I really need a Green and Pink Ranger submission. I would like to create my ranger team by the end of the week so I can start pre-production in 2024.
