Foreword: This chapter shows what happened at the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament while Bansuri was dealing with Babidi and Dabura. This will also be the 'Buu Saga' finale so Merry Christmas and sorry for the wait.

After a quick intermission for lunch, the 25th World Tournament continued with the match of Mr Satan vs Lazuli, the latter of whom got a sinister grin as she walked behind Mr Satan into the ring.

Lazuli: 'I'm gonna get so much money from this tool'

When both combatants were in place, Mr Satan noticed the wicked smirk on Lazuli's face and started to get very worried. He know she was part of the group that were freakishly strong that entered this tournament and he had a solid impression that she was just as impossible for him to beat as Krillin or Tien.

Mr Satan: 'Man I am so done for...maybe I can fake a stomach ache and get out of this...'

Announcer: "Are the contestants ready?!"

Mr Satan: "I-"

Lazuli: "We are!"

Mr Satan's words died in his throat as his attempt to escape was cut off with a sharp look from the woman in front of him, the announcer even jumping from the force of Lazuli's interruption.

Announcer: "Oh! Um, okay. Lazuli vs Mr Satan...BEGIN!"

Mr Satan opened his mouth to try and give up and get out of the fight but Lazuli rushed him and slipped behind him into a headlock. Mr Satan panicked and flailed for a moment before he heard something being whispered to him.

Lazuli: "Calm down idiot. I'm not here for a title, I'm here for money. Give me double the prize money and I'll let you win."

Mr Satan was shocked and partly delighted at the fact that he wasn't going to get his ass kicked like he thought he was. Mr Satan gave a nod to signal he agreed and Lazuli launched herself away like the nod was a headbutt to get her to back off. Lazuli got to her feet with a scowl on her face.

Lazuli: "Damn you!"

Lazuli launched forward and started exchanging blows with Mr Satan, amazing the crowd with the exhibition of skill and getting skeptical looks from the Z-fighters.

Krillin: "...you're seriously gonna throw the match for money..."

Vegeta: "Hmph! I was hoping to beat her with an audience. Whatever, guess I'll have to settle for throwing that clown out of the arena"

Goku: "You know it won't be easy right?"

Vegeta: "Yeah, and?"

Goku and Vegeta stared each other down with smirks on their faces as everyone else in the waiting area took a step away from the two competitive Saiyans, Videl felt the power of the two building up and was shocked at the sheer energy of the two.

Videl: "What the hell kind of training have those two been doing to be that strong?!"

Gohan: "From what I can tell, Vegeta trains at around 300 times Earth's gravity. Dad and I sometimes join in"

Videl simply gaped at Gohan for the absurd training regiment and figured it would take her ages to get even half as tough. A more traitorous part of her mind noticed that Gohan looked very nice in the tight black bodysuit of his hero outfit and the workout would definitely explain it. She caught herself staring at Gohan's muscles, shook her head and looked away, making Gohan confused but Krillin smirked at the couple in the making he was looking at with a knowing look.

Krillin: 'Heh, guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree when it comes to romance'

Announcer: "AND LAZULI HAS BEEN SENT OUT OF THE RING WITH A MAGNIFICENT DYNAMITE PUNCH! MR SATAN ADVANCES TO THE NEXT ROUND!"

Krillin turned away from the two teens to the arena in time to see Lazuli walking toward the waiting room with a wicked smirk. Krillin gave a shakey grin at his spouse and sighed.

Krillin: "Still as dangerous and beautiful as the day we met..."

Lazuli: (Blush) "...softy"

Announcer: "This next match is going to be an interesting one folks because one of the fighters is the Champion from the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament; Son Goku! Competitiors Goku and Vegeta, please enter the arena!"

Goku and Vegeta smirked as they walked out of the waiting area and toward the arena, a distinct pressure filled the air as the Saiyans approached the battlefield.

Bulma: "...maybe the 'no transformation' rule won't be enough to avoid freaking people out"

Chi-chi: "Yeah..."

Trunks: "Dad's totally gonna win!"

Goten: "Huh? No way!"

Bulla: "Hmm, this could go either way with how close their powers are. While Goku has more techniques at his disposal, Father is too tough to knock out. This will probably end in a ring out"

Bulma: "Mmm, you might be right...You three signed into the Kid's Division okay?"

Goten/Trunks/Bulla: "Yeah/Yup/Yes"

Chi-chi: "Good job kids, your tournament will start after the first round of this one is done and is going to be used as a break to patch up injured fighters."

Bulma: "And as an advertisement for Starfall 3. We'll actually see a trailer instead of just seeing an announcement that says it's happening."

Trunks: "Ugh, I hate when game announcements do that. Have enough of the thing done before you announce it so you can show it off, y'know?"

Everyone in earshot of this comment gave a nod of agreement.

Announcer: "-AND BEGIN!"

Goku and Vegeta launched at each other and threw punches, kicks, knee strickes and elbow strikes with the intent of knocking the other person out, the occasional hit landing uncontested when the Saiyans decided to allow an attack to land so they could deal a heavier hit back. After a number of exchanges however, Vegeta started to use rather vicious and familiar looking counters; such as dodging outside of a punch then using the outstretched arm as leverage to launch a savage kick to Goku's liver before Vegeta bounced off the kick and used momentum to throw Goku across the ring with Goku only just able to stop himself and get his footing before Vegeta was on the attack again.

Krillin: "Hold on! That looked like something Bansuri would do!"

All the other fighters present raised their eyebrows and watched Vegeta's moves more closely and after Vegeta stepped into Goku's guard while dodging another punch then responded with an elbow to the face followed by leaping over Goku's shoulder and grabbing under his arms to throw Goku face first into the arena before kicking him across it, everyone noticed the change to Vegeta's fighting style.

Roshi: "Yeesh, Bansuri fights like that? Glad I've never picked a fight with him..."

Tien: "And Vegeta spent two years in the Time Chamber taking attacks like that? No wonder Vegeta mellowed out and toughened up"

Krillin: "Yeah, Bansuri fights mean when he's in a bad mood. He did soften his fighting style to make his counters less crippling in spars but still..."

There was a silent agreement between all fighters present not to anger Bansuri if attacks like the pointed kick to the liver Vegeta hit Goku with followed by a haymaker were what you could expect. The punch to the groin that Vegeta did after ducking Goku's kick cemented this thought as the following kick to the head sent Goku spiralling out of the arena and on the ground in a crumpled heap.

Goku: (Squeeky rasping pain noises)

Announcer: (Holding groin) "and with that painful and vicious counter, Goku has been sent out of the ring. Vegeta advances to the next round"

Everyone in the audience had a wince on their face, hands holding their crotch or both from the low blow that was witnessed.

Bulma: "...sorry about your husband's junk. At least we know a bunch of people with the ability to heal that can fix that"

Chi-chi: "Vegeta fights nasty"

Bulma: "I think he picked that up from the two years he spent with Bansuri in the Time Chamber after Cell was dealt with. Guess Bansuri really let him have it"

Trunks: "...hey Goten?"

Goten: "Yeah?"

Trunks: "I promise not to do that in our fight"

Goten: "Thanks Trunks, I promise not to do it too"

Bulla: "I'm totally gonna do that when I fight"

Trunks/Goten: "Why?!"

Bulla: (Shrug) "It works"

Trunks and Goten gaped at the percieved pure evil while Chi-chi raised an eyebrow at Bulma.

Bulma: "...She has her father's viciousness"

Chi-chi: (Unconvinced stare) "Mm-hm"

Bulma: "Totally not from me"

Chi-chi: "Totally"

There was a distinct pause as the two women looked at each other.

Bulma: "...stop judging me"

Back in the fighters' waiting area, Vegeta returned with Goku after use of the Yardrat Healing technique.

Goku: "Man, if you fought like that the first time we met I'd be toast!"

Vegeta: "Doubt it. Bansuri would have likely come up with a way to kill me ragardless of the power difference. He's intelligent and vicious enough to find a way."

Krillin: "Guess you learned a thing or two from him huh?"

Vegeta: "Or course, he's the strongest around and if I'm going to beat him, I need figure out what makes him so impressive and how to to counter it"

Roshi: "I'd say his control and focus are probably helpful in getting as strong as he is"

Krillin: "Don't forget his experience and knowledge, Bansuri has hundreds of years of it in his head so he knows what he's doing"

Gohan: "Oh yeah, from Namekian Fusion right? That also helped power him up too"

Goku: "Yup"

Announcer: "Will contestants Roshi and Killa please enter the arena!"

Roshi: "Whelp, guess it's my turn to step up. See ya in a bit"

Roshi got a few nods and waves from the fighters he was on decent terms with as he walked out of the waiting area, Killa walked ahead of Roshi with larger strides and shadow boxing as he moved. The two fighters took their place in the arena and waited for the fight to be started.

Announcer: "AAAAAAAND BEGIN!"

Killa ran forward and launched a sequence of punches at the elderly fighter, jabs, straights, hooks and uppercuts were all thrown at Roshi how calmly dodged every punch by leaning and swaying out of the way. Roshi was stood with his arms behind his back as he observed the boxing-style barrage of punches.

Announcer: "Whoa! Killa is starting strong with a barrage of high speed punches! This king of the ring is trying to go for a knock out but it looks like Roshi is having none of it!"

Roshi: "Hm, you've got good form but your spirit is clouded by a desire for glory. Calm down a little, that stress is gonna make you pull something"

Killa was panting after throwing so many punches as hard as he could, Roshi being able to give advice so calmly while dodging unnerved the boxer something fierce. What's more is that the old man didn't even look winded, let alone worried about getting hit. Killa threw the hardest punch he could at Roshi's head and found his fist caught in the more experienced hand.

Roshi: "Yeah, I kinda guessed you'd take poorly to my advice. Oh well"

Roshi shrugged and used the fist he caught as leverage for a shoulder throw, the boxer swiftly thrown out of the ring.

Announcer: "And it looks like experience trumps exuberance! Roshi advances to the next round!"

Roshi calmly walks out of the ring, the look of shock on Killa's face ignored in favor of rejoining his friends in the waiting box.

Krillin: "Man, that fight reminded me of the time you fought Yamcha in a previous World Tournament"

Goku: "...wait a minute... You were Jackie Chun?!"

Roshi and Krillin sweatdropped at the strongest student of the Turtle Hermit style of martial arts for how slow he was mentally.

Announcer: "And thanks to the disqualification of Yamu and Spopovich, Jewel advances to the next round and rounds up our roster. After we take a break from the adult tourney with the Kid's Division, these will be the match ups!"

Krillin Vs Bansuri

Krillin paused and remembered a similar match up with Piccolo in the previous Tournament. He smirked at the memory and could easily imagine Bansuri doing the same.

Saiyaman Vs Videl

Videl: "You better take me seriously Gohan"

Saiyaman: "You got it"

Jewel Vs Mr Satan

Jewel: "This will be my chance to dazzle the audience and against the World Champion no less. I am going ot be famous!"

Mr Satan: 'Okay, I KNOW I can take down mr sparkles over there. Hope I can bribe who comes after him...'

Roshi Vs Vegeta

Vegeta simply gave Roshi the flattest most unimpressed look and while no words were said, everyone could tell: Vegeta was gonna throw the old man like a ragdoll out of the ring.

Announcer: "And those are the brackets! While we set up for the Kid's Division, please enjoy the trailers for the up and coming Starfall Movie! Simian Strife!"

After the announcement, the fighters left the waiting area and went into the spectator stands with Bulma, Chi-chi, Nico and the kids Bulla, Trunks and Goten. As everyone was getting settled, Bansuri appeared behind the group with a lackadaisy wave.

Bansuri: "Hey everyone, what did I miss?"

Nico: "Gohan beat Kibito, Mr Satan beat Lazuli, Vegeta beat Goku, Roshi beat Killa and Jewel advanced due to earlier disqualification of Yamu and Spopovich"

Bansuri looked at Lazuli and raised an eyebrow before he lowered his eyebrow and gave her a flat look which she answered with a shrug. Bansuri then rolled his eyes then put his focus on Vegeta.

Bansuri: "So, you showed that you weren't just stronger than Goku but also more skilled? Nicely done"

Vegeta preened under the praise but before he could brag, a screen began to rise from the top of the waiting area and after a moments pause showed the trailer for the 3rd Starfall movie. Bansuri quietly got out his phone and readied himself for Vegeta's reaction to the "Simian" race and absently noted that the make-up and special effects of the movie had greatly improved in quality and the actor playing an analogue of himself was actually not too far off his appearance. This trailer ended with a shot of a showdown with the Simian "Purince" (modified Prince) against "Wukong" and "Supon" (a play on the word Spawn as the analogue for Piccolo was "Akuma"). Bansuri hit the record button on his phone in time to get Vegeta's appauled expression before it became one of indignant rage.

Vegeta: "EXCUSE ME!? THAT IS THE FORM OF A SAIYAN THAT HAS REACHED THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF POWER! WHY IS THE MAIN CHARACTER CASUALLY IN THE FORM!? IT'S NOT THE COMMON SAIYAN APPEARANCE AND IT'S CERTAINLY NOT A CHILD'S PLAYTHING!"

Bansuri: "Gohan got it when he was eleven though"

Vegeta: "With help! STARFALL IS A LOAD OF CRAP!"

There was a pause as the audience turned to look at the irate Saiyan and after a moment of quiet (which the other Z-fighters and Videl used to take a few paces away from Vegeta), the Prince of All Saiyans found himself pelted with food and boo'd at. The food throwing ended when the 2nd trailer started and the audience returned to viewing a Starfall trailer that showed analogues of Bansuri's human friends and of Nappa fighting in a more action oriented trailer that was pretty well choreographed in Bansuri's opinion. Bansuri made sure to keep the pictures of Vegeta's reaction on hand to send around for laughes.

After the trailers finished, the contestants of the Kid's Division were called, a bracket formed and the fights began...Goten, Trunks and Bulla dominated the tourney and it got down to Goten Vs Bulla with the winner fighting Trunks.

Goku: "Heh, it kinda looks like a mini-me fighting a mini-Bulma down there"

Vegeta: "Only in appearance Kakarot, Bulla is going to stomp your brat and prove my progeny are superior to yours"

Bulma: "Ahem!"

Vegeta: "Our progeny...Our"

Bulma gave Vegeta a side-eye before continuing to watch the fight that had been going back and forward for the entire scrap, Bulla using her slightly longer limbs (due to being a bit taller than Goten) to her advantage only for Goten to throw out an attack that didn't really follow a style like the jumping headbutt Bulla barely dodged or removing his overshirt to throw in Bulla's face as a distraction. The fight was close, but all it would take is one mistake for the fight to end, Goten being the one to make that mistake by overextending with a kick and being grabbed by the back of the pants and shirt, spun around so fast Goten got dizzy and then thrown into the arena wall. Bulla stumbled in place after the throw due to dizzyness but she raised her arms in victory.

Announcer: "And with a dizzying throw, Bulla advances to the next round!"

Vegeta: "HA! SUCK IT KAKAROT!"

*SMACK!*

Vegeta: "OW!"

Announcer: "After a 10 minute break and more Starfall trailers, the final round of Trunks vs Bulla in the Kid's division will be underway!"

Vegeta: (Loud disappointed groan)

*SMACK!*

Vegeta: "Stop hitting me woman!"

Bansuri: "The first one was me, that one was Bulma...say, would you like to learn martial arts Bulma?"

Bulma: "Hmmm...Maaaaaybe"

Vegeta turned pale and was very quiet through the tournament break, even through seeing the Krillin analogue do damage to his movie counterpart (although he did wince and grit his teeth at the inaccuracy that Bansuri purposefully didn't point out). After the break the final battle of the Kid's Division was finally underway, Bulla and Trunks stood in the ring waiting for the announcer to start the match.

Trunks: 'I've totally got this, she's not allowed to go Super Saiyan 2 so it's all about skill. I've got this...'

Bulla: '...win or lose, I'm hitting Trunks in the balls'

Announcer: "...AND BEGIN!"

The two blue haired Saiyan hybrids rushed at each other and met with a flurry of punches and kicks with the only spectators able to keep up with what the children were doing were the Z-fighters and Videl, Bulla and Trunks looking like they were roughly even in skill.

Videl: "Those kids are way stronger than they should be"

Gohan: "Well...They are part Saiyan..."

Videl: "Oh right, the 'part alien' thing..."

Bansuri: "Just so you know, humans CAN become stronger than aliens. I know Krillin is stronger than those two down there so if you're willing to put in the effort you can grow way stronger than you realize"

Videl stared in disbelief and awe of the realization and how strong Krillin was, Videl beginning to think Krillin was the strongest human in the world. Krillin gave a thankful nod to Bansuri for the recognition and respect and looked back to the kid's fight in time to see Bulla kick Trunks in the groin before she spun and kicked Trunks in the butt hard enough to send him flying out of the ring in a crumpled heap on the ground.

Announcer: "And with a vicious counter attack, we have a winner of the World Martial Arts Tournament Kid's Division: Bulla!"

The crowd cheered for the Kid's Champion and after an Exhibition match with Mr Satan (which Bulla ended with a punch to the face that sent Mr Satan flying into the arena wall that was taken as Mr Satan throwing the fight by everyone not in the know), the Adult Division was continued once more with a match between Krillin and Bansuri facing off in the ring in a familiar-looking fight.

Krillin: "Heh, kinda reminds me of my fight with your old man in the last tournament. I know I can't beat you, but I know I can give you a damn good fight"

Bansuri: (Smirk) "You always do"

Both fighters dropped into fighting stances and when the announcer started the fight, the two instantly used the Yardrat Clone Technique and the Instant Transmission to close the distance, the Human and Namekian as well as their clones clashed in the center of the ring and proceeded to have a teleporting team battle with not even the Z-fighters being able to have a good read on who was holding the advantage at what time due to the fighters showing teamwork with their clones and mastery over teleportation.

Goku: "Wow! Those two got way better with those techniques!"

Vegeta: "Damn it, I can't track either of them..."

Videl simply stared in shock at the very rare glimpse of a clash between Bansuri and Krillin that showed on the arena before they vanished again while Tien smirked at the title of strongest human being a perfect fit for Krillin, a silent resolution to improve himself forming in his mind while Roshi was quietly pleased that he never eared either Krillin or Bansuri's ire.

Bulla: "So this is a mastery of combat looks like..."

Trunks: "Wow..."

Goten: "...So you guys can't see them either?"

Bulla/Trunks: "Yep"

The shockwaves and glances at conflict continued until something hit the wall of the spectator stand, the dust settling to reveal Krillin rubbing his stomach and covered in bruises. Bansuri reappeared in the center of the ring looking very scuffed up with tears in his gi and a black eye but otherwise alright.

Announcer: "wow...Oh! THE WINNER OF THIS MATCH BY RING OUT IS MAJUNIOR!"

The crowd gave some confused applause and cheers while Bansuri healed himself then moved to do the same for Krillin only to spot that his friend had already healed himself and moved to heal Bansuri. The two chuckled together as they returned to their fellow fighters.

Gohan: "Man, you two have really gotten a handle on Instant Transmission. No one could see either of you except you clashed"

Krillin: "Heh, time and effort are all you need to get skilled"

This was met with nods of agreement as Mr Satan and Jewel were called to the arena and squared off, the Z-fighters half-watching while Videl gave the fight her full attention as Jewel was a good fighter by normal standards and did stand his ground against Mr Satan in the past, but anyone could see that Jewel was a total peacock. While the martial prowess shown was impressive, compared to the prior fight it was somewhat underwhelming to the audience. Didn't stop the audience from cheering when Mr Satan knocked Jewel out of the ring after freaking out the pretty boy with punches to the face.

Announcer: "Will Videl and Saiyaman please enter the arena!"

Videl: "You better take this fight seriously...or else"

Gohan: "Um, okay?"

The two entered the ring and stood in stances waiting for the match to start and when it did Videl launched at Gohan as fast as she could and threw out attacks with everything she had, the speed and shockwaves coming from her flurry of blows made Mr Satan resolve to just let Videl have what she wants as a fight is definitely not worth it. While Gohan wasn't doing hero poses, Videl could tell that Gohan wasn't taking her seriously. Videl backed off from her physical assualt on Gohan and took a stance that was familiar and made Gohan pause and his eyes widen behind his shades: The Masenko blast pose. Energy crackled in her hand in a brilliant yellow color as Videl focused as much of her power to her palm as she could.

Videl: "Masenko-"

Gohan in a blind panic threw out a punch hard enough to send a shockwave through the air to try and stop the blast as well as knock Videl out of the ring but even as she was sent careening to the spectator wall she fired at Gohan, the attack hitting the super hero dressed Saiyan hybrid as Videl hit the wall. Videl fell to the ground and looked at what her attack did and had a sense of pride when she saw that the back of Gohan's gloves looked singed from her attack due to Gohan blocking it.

Annoncer: "And with an astonishing cross-counter, Saiyaman knocks Videl out of the ring and advances to the next round!"

Chi-chi (lovey-dovey sigh) "That shockwave punch reminds me of the time I reunited with Goku at the last tournament...and the sweet proposal he did"

Bulma and the people who were present at that event in the audience took care not to mention that Goku thought that Marriage was food at the time and that Goku basically shrugged and went along with it after he heard weddings had good food.

Announcer: "And now, the final battle before the semi-finals! Roshi vs Vegeta-!"

Roshi: "I forfeit! I'm old, tired and can't be bothered"

Announcer: "Oh!...Okay um, Vegeta advances onto the next round and now we move on to the Semi-finals! Will Bansuri vs Saiyaman please enter the arena?!"

Bansuri and Gohan answered the call and entered the arena, dropping into fighting stances before Bansuri smirked and the announcer began the battle, Gohan immediately on the defensive and noticing what Bansuri was doing.

Gohan: 'He's aiming for my disguise to force me off-balance! He's even using feints to get better opportunities to strike!'

Gohan found himself in a delicate balancing act of keeping his identity a secret and fighting Bansuri who was relentlessly picking at Gohan's weak points and even letting the occasional punch or kick land to force Gohan even further on the backfoot until... Gohan's back hit a wall.

Announcer: "Saiyaman is out of bounds! The winner by ring out is Bansuri!"

After patching himself up slightly, Bansuri healed Gohan and walked with him back to the waiting area.

Gohan: "Man, you fight mean..."

Bansuri: "People who wish to do you harm would do worse. Stay sharp and ready so you can protect what you love...or rather 'whom'"

Gohan: "Wait! Hold on! We're just friends!"

Bansuri: "And yet you know exactly what I meant"

Gohan blushed quietly as he and Bansuri took their place to watch how Vegeta would deal with Mr Satan, only for the latter to claim stomach issues and forfeit, leaving only the final match: Bansuri vs Vegeta. The two fighters entered the arena and stared each other down until...

Announcer: "...BEGIN!"

Bansuri and Vegeta met in the center of the arena the instant after the fight began, the two exchanged all manner of melee attacks with one another with Vegeta trying to use point blank blasts to force Bansuri to back off and Bansuri taking advantage of his physiology to stretch his limbs and strike from unexpected angles. The blasts dispersed from Bansuri's use of Krillin's Ki Lock and Vegeta evaded and parried the namekian exclusive physical attacks launched at him due to prior use of such attacks in the Room of Spirit and Time. Neither warrior backed off or stepped back from the other and truely showed what fighting REALLY looked like.

Announcer: "SIMPLY INCREDIBLE! NEITHER FIGHTER IS GIVING AN INCH OF GROUND TO THE OTHER! I CAN FEEL THE POWER OF EVERY HIT THEY'RE THROWING AT EACH OTHER AND THE ONLY REASON I HAVEN'T FLOWN AWAY ARE THESE PILLARS IN FRONT OF THE WAITING AREA!"

The audience could feel a harsh breeze coming from the conflict in front of them and they were amazed at how strong and fast the two warriors were in the arena. The Z-fighters however could spot that in spite of how intense the battle was, or perhaps because of how intense the fight was, both Bansuri and Vegeta were smirking.

Bulla: "Hmmm...this is going to end with a knock out"

Trunks: "Huh? Why's that?"

Bulla: "Both of them are too sharp to be tricked and too strong to be thrown out of the ring. Dunno who's gonna win though"

Goten didn't say anything, but for some strange reason he had a strong impression that Bansuri was going to win and Goten wasn't 100% sure why he had that feeling. A feeling that would be validated moments later when Vegeta over extended during a counter punch and found Bansuri's fist squarely under his chin and after a swift and hearty *THWAK* there was a pause in the fight as Vegeta stepped back, stumbled and fell on his back unconcious. Bansuri kept his distance and stood ready even as the announcer did the ten count.

Announcer: "...SIX...SEVEN...EIGHT...NINE...AND TEN! Majunior has knocked out Vegeta and is now the World Champion of the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament!"

The crowd erupted into cheers as the result was called but Bansuri didn't really pay it too much attention, he walked over to the knocked out Vegeta, healed him and held out a hand to both help Vegeta up and shake his hand. Vegeta accepted both the help and the handshake for the respectful gesture it was.

Vegeta: "...Good punch"

Bansuri: "Thank you, for the compliment and the good fight"

The two fighters smirked at each other and went through the motions of the award ceremony before the Z-fighters, Videl and the wives and kids reunited.

Chi-chi: (Sigh) "A shame that neither Goku or Gohan won...that money could have been put to getting Masters Degrees and PHDs..."

Bansuri: "What's to say it isn't?"

Bansuri handed the money he got from the tounament to Chi-chi to everyone's disbelief.

Bulma: "If you didn't do it for money, why'd you win the tounament?"

Bansuri: "A reminder of an old lesson: 'there's always someone stronger out there'"

Roshi: "Heh, taking up my lesson plan huh? Nicely done"

Bansuri gave a respectful nod to Roshi which the elderly fighter responded to in kind. Everyone set about going their separate ways, with the Son family and Briefs family carpooling once more, Tien, Krillin, Lazuli and even Roshi flying to the respective homes with Bansuri returning to the Lookout to do revisional teaching to Dende when he noticed that Shin and Kibito were there waiting for him.

Bansuri: "Welcome to Dende's Lookout. You have business?"

Shin : "Ahem. As thanks for dealing with such a deadly threat, I, the Supreme Kai grant to you a set of Potara Earrings. If two being put an earing on opposite ears from each other, the two will fuse together. This fusion is permanent for Kais but from what I have read only lasts and hour for mortals"

Shin held out a set of earrings with green orbs hanging from them and given the ease of dealing with the issue, Bansuri had no issue accepting the reward.

Bansuri: "Hmm, these could come in handy. In regards to mortal fusion, are they multiple use or single use?"

Shin: "From our understanding, it is multiple use."

Bansuri: "Huh, neat. Any other business here or threats you've planted on this planet?"

Both Shin and Kibito winced in guilt but shook their heads. They said their farewells and teleported away.

Dende: "Was such disrespect truely necessary?"

Bansuri: "Dende, they left the egg of a UNIVERSAL scale threat on our planet. They're lucky I'm being as nice as I am"

Dende: "Oh...So Dragon form training?"

Bansuri: (Nodding) "Dragon form training"

And that ladies, gentlemen and the beautiful rainbow inbetween is the end of this saga! But remember: "There's always someone stronger out there"

BONUS SCENE: Calm before the storm

On a distant planet far from where our heroes call home, a planet with a massive tree growing on it and a pressure in the air, a low rumble fills the air and shakes the foundations of a building. Within this building, the source of this paced rumble rolls over under covers in a bed, the rumble being the being's snoring, said being in question looking feline in nature with purple skin and a slim, almost scrawny build.

Another being poked their head into the room to see if it was time to wake the sleeping cat-like being up but found that it was a bit early still. This supervising being had light blue skin and silver, almost white hair swooping upward in a sweeped up pompador sort of look. The blue being walked back down the hallway away from the sleeping purple cat and decided to keep themself occupied by looking at the state of the universe, only to raise a mildly surprised eyebrow.

Blue being: "Hm? Well, isn't this interesting~"

The blue being saw that instead of Frieza running around and acting as an outsourced Destroyer, they saw that it was Cooler moving about and using technology to bring planets ready for destruction back into pristine condition before putting a civilisation on it and militarizing the residents. The blue man looked for the context of such a change and found that Frieza had been taken down by a Saiyan and a Namekian. This combination was very novel to the blue fellow and they were going to look further into it when his staff signalled that someone was calling him.

Blue Man: "Hello?"

Blue Woman: "Hello brother, enjoying yourself?"

The person calling him had a similar appearance to the blue man with the exception being that they were a woman with their hair in a ponytail. In spite of the amiable tone, the blue man could tell that his sister was upset over something.

Blue man: "Oh just keeping myself entertained while Lord Beerus sleeps. The usual."

Blue woman: "Really? So you had nothing to do with the fact that Universe Seven has jumped from Rank Ten to Rank Eight?"

Blue man: (Raising eyebrow) "Really? (Quickly checking mortal ranking of his universe) Huh, well I'll be, we have jumped to that rank"

Blue woman: "You didn't know? A rather poor showing that the universe you're overseeing is improving without you, wouldn't you say?"

Blue man: (Shugging) "Just means Universe Seven's mortals are better than Universe Six's. Tough break sister"

The blue woman glared at him before hanging up the call, leaving a faintly amused blue man smirking at his staff.

Blue man: "Interesting, guess that'll have to be looked into when Beerus wakes up. Oh well"

The blue man shrugged and continued going about his day, smiling in memory of his sister's annoyed expression.
