Chapter 6: The Days of Kwanzaa:

Jackie's POV:

We were all facing Susie. "Use the amulet, quick," I said.

But Susie attacks Black Panther. "I do not wish to hurt you," says Black Panther.

Susie was not in the listening mood. She attacks Black Panther and he's forced to wrestle her. She attempts to claw him, and Black Panther tries to hold her down. Susie then knocks Black Panther to a wall and then jumps on him and dries to bite his head off, but Black Panther knocks her off.

"Susie, we know you're in there," I said.

"There is no use," says Uncle, "she is being controlled by animal instincts!"

"Wait," says Jade, as she appears with a book, "Susie, look! These are your family!"

Susie then takes a look. This manages to get to Susie. She then starts calming down.

"Now," I said.

Black Panther then aims the amulet at the panther. "Umoja! Kujichagulia! Ujima! Ujamaa! Nia! Kuumba! Imani!" The amulet then turns the panther beast back into an idol and at the same time, Susie turned back to normal.

. . .

We were at the docks. "Thank you for your help," says Black Panther, "and I am glad you are okay."

"Sorry I tried to kill you," says Susie.

"You were not in your right mind," says Black Panther, "now, I take my leave."

Black Panther then heads back to Wakanda.

. . .

Now, we're all celebrating Kwanzaa with the Carmichaels.

"Umoja," says Susie's Grandaunt T, "Unity!"
