The Fairy Tail mages returned to Magnolia after the 3rd Wizard Saint tournament came to a end. A lot of them were inspired and immediately headed off to train. Ben and Makarov are satisfied with this, but they were even happier with the fact that their mages didn't cause trouble in Isvan.
For the next few days, Fairy Tail's young mages were busy training. Ben is still training his sisters and the Strausses including Mira. He was the only one who could hold his own against Mira while sparring because the others can't handle her power.
Well, Makarov could but he was too old to spar with a young mage. Laxus and Erza tried to spar with Mira, but neither of them could make her use her full power. Only Ben was able to make her use her full power while also pointing out her mistakes.
Days passed with Ben training himself, his sisters and the Strausses. They also go on jobs every once in a while. Ben and Mira take their siblings on S-Class jobs sometimes to give them experience.
A few months later, the 3rd Grand Magic Games is held. Just like last year, Fairy Tail sent their youngest members. Bella and Carla join their team along with Romeo, Helen and Jack who are 2 of the kids Ben and Mira saved 3 years ago.
Of course, the Tenrou Boys wanted to join the competition. However, Ben and Makarov agreed to keep them out of the competition to give the youngest members some experience. Their guild won the 1st Grand Magic Games, so they weren't too interested in winning anymore.
The Tenrou Boys can't do anything about it because Ben will give them a piece of his mind if they don't give up. So they can only watch as their youngest members were defeated before they even reached the top 8.
The other guilds have trained hard last year and the youngest members can't handle them anymore. It's still a good experience though because the youngest members can learn a lot from this event.
But then some unknown guilds mock Fairy Tail for sending children. Natsu, Gajeel and the other hotheads get angry but Ben just laughed, making everyone look at him. They were wondering why he was laughing when their guild was being mocked.
"Oi, what's so funny?" A man who looked like a wannabe gangster asked.
Ben stopped laughing and looked at the people who mocked his guild while smirking, "You are mocking us for sending children. Yet these children almost made it to the top 8 this year and last year as well. Doesn't that mean you are mocking the guilds that can't even get close to the top 8 to be weaker than these children? Oh, wait! Your guild can't enter the top 8 either. So you are weaker than these children."
The guilds that mock Fairy Tail became silent because they didn't get to the top 8. Those that made it to the top 8 didn't mock them. These guilds are just using Fairy Tail to release their frustration.
The guy who talked to Ben earlier had everyone in the stadium stare at him. He was embarrassed before becoming angry. In a stupid move, he got angry with Ben out of everyone in Fairy Tail and the stadium.
"Damn, you son of a b**ch. You are just sending those children because you aren't confident you can win. Your victory in the 1st Grand Magic Games was just luck." The guy arrogantly said.
The audience murmured when they heard it. They all think that guy is an idiot.
"Doesn't he recognize who he's talking to?" Someone whispered.
"I don't think he knows. Otherwise, he would shut up when he heard that man laugh." Someone else whispered.
"Well he looks like an idiot, so it's possible." Another man whispered.
The guy was an idiot that didn't recognize Ben. He even thought the audience was supporting him and ridiculing Ben because they keep glancing at Ben. Well, he's never been more wrong, but it boosted his confidence.
"Ha ha, speechless aren't you? Then why don't you prove to us that you are that great? I guess having a Wizard Saint doesn't guarantee the guild to be strong." The guy said, not noticing that he is talking to that Wizard Saint.
Seeing Ben remain silent, he smirked before approaching Fairy Tail. The Fairy Tail mages become nervous, but not because of him. They get away, clearing the path between the guy and Ben, making him think they are scared of him.
"Ha ha, Fairy Tail doesn't live up to it's reputation, does it? They all just get away and this guy remains as still as a statue after talking haughtily." The punk said while looking at Ben who kept silent. He is a lot shorter than Ben but he is still very confident.
Everyone there nervously watched the punk poke Ben's chest and face with his finger. Even the Royal Family, nobles and the Magic Council were nervous. But the punk is still clueless and gets even more insolent.
"You'll just stand like a statue? Fine, I will make you move and insert my words right into your brain." The punk said before he punched Ben with a lighting covered fist.
*BAM*
There was a large shock wave but nothing changed. Ben remained in his spot, not even moving an inch. The punk felt as if he punched a mountain and he looked at Ben nervously now because he used a lot of power, but Ben wasn't affected.
Then finally, Ben spoke, "Oi punk. Let me tell you something."
He says that as he grabs the punk's face. The punk tried to break free, but he can't so Ben resumed his speech.
"Never curse in front of kids! And never call my mother b**ch, you asshole!" Ben throws the punk over to his guild mates and he hit them. They all fall and scatter like bowling pins. The punk himself kept flying to the wall and crashed into it, destroying it.
"Jura, fix that for me. I will increase your car's speed for free." Ben said to Jura who was watching from afar.
He then left without waiting for Jura's answer. The Fairy Tail mages follow him out of the stadium. No one dared to say anything and just watched them leave because they don't want to be the next person embedded in a wall.
"Aren't you going too far? I don't like it when our guild is being insulted either, but I think this is too far." Makarov said.
"I don't think so. This was a light punishment. He should consider himself fortunate I didn't do much worse. Someone like God Serena would kill him just for pointing his finger, so I was showing mercy. If he was just cursing, then I wouldn't go this far, but he called me son of a beep. That's something I'll never forgive, no matter what. No one can call my parents that word." Ben replied.
"Well, I guess you protected our guild's honor, so it's fine." Makarov sighed.
They return to their hotel and watch the tournament again the next day. Now, no one dared to mess with them, so it was very peaceful. Well, Ben got an earful from Jura, so it wasn't completely peaceful.
The 3rd Grand Magic Games went well and the winners this time were Blue Pegasus. There aren't many battle rounds this year and most of the rounds require intelligence and teamwork over power. With Hibiki in the group, Blue Pegasus can dominate the games.
"You're 2nd place again for the 3rd time." Ben smirked.
"Maybe it's some kind of curse." Jura sighed.
"Hmm, let's confirm it next year." Ben said happily.
"Oi, don't be happy about that, we also want to be the winner." Jura said.
Ben just laughed before leaving the stadium and walking by himself. He went to a big mansion and entered it. A middle aged man was waiting for him and they went to a room that resembled a personal office.
The middle aged man is Ben's old acquaintance, Joseph the merchant. Joseph placed a small box on a table.
"Here's your order. It's the best that I could find." He said.
Ben opened the box and smiled widely. "Great, this is better than I thought."
