Once they'd all made it through the hologram, and past the guard sharks, Tommy and the other Animorphs found themselves faced with the question of just which of the three entrances they were going to make their way in through.

(How about the middle door?) Marco suggested, after the rest of the Animorphs had spent more than a little time trying to decide how they were going to decide.

Tommy had thought it was funny, and ultimately harmless, so he hadn't said anything.

(The middle door,) Jake agreed, as the seven of them began making their way into the Yeerk facility.

Tommy spared a thought for the Power Rangers, knowing that Jason at least would have volunteered to come along with them if he'd asked. But, any kind of collaboration between their two groups would be dangerous. For the Power Rangers in particular, since any recordings of their voices would inevitably allow the Yeerks to track them down. Or worse, they could find out who the Rangers were, and then go after the rest of their families.

Tommy's Controller foster-parents might even be the ones to lead them, if he allowed something like that to happen, anyway.
