CH 24
Over the next two months they were all busy with helping one another moving into their new homes when they were on down time since their homes were up for sale. The women all went shopping for wedding dresses, as well they all contacted their families about their wedding and kids that they have got.
Making list of who going to be at the wedding, make bookings, going to the beauty parlour once a week, as well having their fittings for the wedding. When all eight of them got together, they all had wedding rhesus with the minister.
Week before the wedding, there was bucks and hens night for them all. They all enjoyed them selves and all suffered the next day, but they were luckily to have the weekend off. The day before the wedding the guys were going back and fourth from home to the airport to pick up family and friends from out of town.
Jack was able borrow army tents, cots, sleeping bags for all the visiting guests for over the weekend. In jack and Sam back yard there was table and chairs every where. The big marque tent that could hold two thousand were up and every one was busy getting tables and chair into place as well the dance floor.
That night family member, best men and brides maids all went out to pre wedding dinner Jack and sam took their family out to 'stage coach inn' for their dinner. Janet and Daniel went to 'Craftwood inn' Kate and Greg went to 'the pepper tree' for their family dinner, Claire and Steve took their family to 'sonterra grill'
That evening, all the women were staying at General Hammond place for the night since he got a big house. They all talk, laugh, drinking, having a wonderful night, they all decided to call it a night since it was after two in the morning. Few hours later Sam walked out in tee shirt and sweat pants.
"Morning sir"
"Morning Sam sleep well?" She got her self-cup of coffee
"Yes thanks, I hope we didn't wake you last night?" he smile as she took a sip
"I heard you all"
"Sorry" he chuckled
"Don't be it remind me of my daughters when they had a slumber party when they were teenagers with out the alcohol, boy back then, they had rollers in their hair and blue face mask on when they walk out to the kitchen"
"Did you tease them about it?"
"Sure did" she laugh"How did the dinner go last night?"
"Good, I got a chance to meet Jack family, they were happy that he has found happiness since Charlie death and they not happy with him for not telling them years ago about the kids"
"How did he take it?"
"Ok, he told them that he told them what happen he would shoot them story line"
"I remember when I first meet him, talk about writing a book on my esperance, he told me, that he would have to shoot them, then he said he was joking"
"That sounds like him alright" they both laugh then the other three walked out and said their good mornings while Sam got them some coffee.
"Where are you four going this morning?"
"We are going to meet the brides maids at 'the hub' for breakfast then over to 'Veda salon and spa' for six hours, then back here to get dress, we hope you don't mind house full of females sir" Janet asked smiling
"No I don't mind"
"Thanks sir"
"Shell we, we don't want to be late" sam said rinsing out her cup then the others follow suit. They all went back to their rooms and got change before leaving to meet the others for breakfast.
When Jack woke up, he got up and went to put coffee on and then started making breakfast for every one since it was going to be a long day for them all. While coffee was being made, he put five trays of bacon and hash browns in to the oven and also started making toast and pancake mixture While the pancakes were cooking George walk down stairs still in his PJ's
"Morning George, hungry?"
"Yes daddy"
"Good, looking forward to today?"
"Yes" he said yawning. Then Jacob showed up with the twins and Jake.
"Morning Jack, George"
"Morning grandad" Jacob put Mathew, Jake and Adam in their high chairs while Jack got them all a drink each.
"Any thing I an do to help Jack?"
"Yeah you can check on the triplets, they should be awake by now"
"Sure" Jacob left to go and check on them, when he walk into the room, they were starting to wake up so he change there diaper when Alice and Mark walk in
"Morning dad need any help?"
"Sure, thanks, Alice you can take josh down to Jack since he is already change"
Jacob picked him up and passed him to Alice who walked out the door and went down stairs to see Jack. Mark and Jacob change Grace and Patrick before joining the others down stairs for breakfast. Twenty minutes later all forty-two guests were up and having breakfast while talking and laughing while enjoying their breakfast.
When Sam and the other three brides arrived, at 'the hub' there bridges maids were waiting for them. So they all walk in and ordered their breakfast before sitting down and started talking till their breakfast arrived. They were all looking forwards to the wedding that afternoon.
Hour later they all left together and headed to the salon and spa where they will be for the next six hours getting pamper, then afterwards they all showed up at Hammond place where they were all getting ready for the wedding.
After breakfast, all the men in the bridal party including the grooms them selves all went into town to have their haircuts done while every thing was being set up for the wedding. Every one relaxes talking, playing games watching TV, things like that.
At lunchtime the 'alpine chef catering' arrived and started getting every thing set up before the food arrived later that afternoon. When Jack and the others arrived back, they went to check things out back. The table clothes were already put on the table including the bridal table that was on man made three-step stage.
There were four tables in one corner for where the cakes are going to be. They all walk back out side again and over to where the wedding is taking place. There was chairs every where slowly being set up, they look around for few minutes.
"Well guys in hour time we all won't be bachelors any more" Jack said
"True at lest we are all happy" Daniel said,
"Yep, shell we see what our families are up to" they went their separate ways till the wedding.
When all the women arrived back at Hammond home, there were twenty of them walking into his house giggling.
"Hi sir" Sam said smiling
"Sam, you all look lovely"
"Thanks, I think"
"You all better get a move on, the limos will be here in an hour"
"Yes sir" they all saluted him then walk away laughing, leaving him shaking his head with grin on his face.
While the women were busy getting ready, George was also getting ready him self when there was a knock on the door, so he went and answered it, it was the delivery of the bouquets for the women. After they were drops off, the guy left. He saw one the women who was in her dress, he let her know that the bouquets had arrived which she thank him for before heading into one of the bed rooms. When George was ready, there was a knock on the door so he went to answer it
"Jacob, come on in, hello"
"Hi George" they walk into the kitchen when they all heard the women moving around.
"General George Hammond this if Jeff, Kate father, Tom, Claire father and Dean, Janet father" there was hellos and shake of hands all round.
"How are the brides, nerves?" Jacob asked
"No, but they are cheeky a while ago when they all return back from town" he said smiling
"What happen?" Jeff asked George told them what happen when they all return back from the parlour, they all laugh.
"At lest they are all in good sprits"
"Yes they are, how the grooms?"
"Good when we last saw them"
"That good" they talk for few minutes till Cassie walked in.
"Hi"
"Hi Cassie, you look beautiful today"
"Thanks Jacob, so are you guys ready to see your daughters"
"No" Jeff said
"Don't worry, you going to love the dress, come on, you to Uncle George" they followed her into the living and stop in their track.
When Jeff saw what Kate was wearing, he was shock. She was wearing Luster Satin, Schiffli Lace and Crystal Beading. The sleeves hug the shoulder and has a scalloped neckline accented with crystal beading. The bodice is enhanced with crystal beaded Schiffli lace and a scalloped Basque waistline.
The Castillion train is heavily decorated with Schiffli Lace & crystal beading and has covered buttons to hem. With pearls and crystals heart shape tiara in while/silver with a triple vail, She was also wearing her grand mother diamond earing and pendent that was given to her on her sixteenth birthday.
When Tom saw Claire, she was wearing Net, Satin and Crystal Beading. The dress has a court neckline with crystal trim. It is a princess line gown of crystal beaded net over satin; the back features satin covered buttons to the hem. It has long, sheer; crystal beaded net sleeves with covered buttons at the wrist. It also has a semi-cathedral train and built-in crinoline. She was also wearing a diamante and crystals tiara with a triple vail. She was wearing a peal necklace.
When dean saw Janet, she was wearing Tip of the shoulder bodice is embellished with piped laced filled with beads and sequins. The small A-line skirt is decorated in front and back. Pleated semi-cathedral pleated train is detachable. Her tiara was silver heart shape with half hearts on each side done in crystals, she was also wearing a triple vail.
When Jacob saw Sam, she was wearing Off-the-shoulder sweetheart neckline wedding dress with lace and beading. Detachable 132 inches royal cathedral train. With diamantes heart shape sliver tiara with row of peals along the bottom Sam was wearing four-layer vail with one layer long as her train. She was wearing her mother peal necklace and earings that she wore on her wedding day.
All four women vail goes down to their waists, and their hairs were all up. Their brides' maids were all wearing the same dresses. They were wearing European Satin two-piece. Surplice V-neck tops with fitted bodice. Tonal bugle bead trim bands the empire. A-line skirt. Colour of Kate bride maid dress were periwinkle, Claire brides maid is sage, Janet is red and Sam brides' maids wore champagne. They all got their hair up and they were all wearing diamante gold heart shape tiara with four half hearts on each side and crystal tear drop in the middle of three of the hearts. All the brides' maids were all carrying bouquets of white mini lilies while the brides all carried white roses.
"You all look beautiful," George said after they all were quiet
"Thank you sir, dad are you ok?" Sam asked
"Ah yeah George is right Sam you do look beautiful"
"Thanks dad" she said smiling Then the others comment on what their daughters were wearing when they walk into the room. They all talk for couple of minutes, there they heard the door bel ring, so George went to see who it was, when he return.
"Limos are here"
"Shell we" Jacob, said
"Yeasureyabetcha" they all said then burst out laughing.
"Sam what have you been teaching them?" Jacob asked
"Why?" she said smiling
They all walk out of the house to see four limos waiting for them They recognise the drivers from the SGC and colour bows on each of the limos, so they all walk over to each of the limos and got in, then they were all on their way. George was in Sam limo when they all left.
At the house, every one was getting ready, and then they notice secret service agents showed up and check the area out. Half an hour before guest arrived. Jack, Daniel, Greg and Steve greeted their guests as well talk to them Daniel was the only one wearing a tux while the other three were wearing their uniforms.
Steve is in the marines and Greg is in the air force like Jack. While talking to some of their guests, the president, first lady arrived, chief of staff and his wife arrived, so the men went to greet them.
"Sirs, ma'am, we please that you could make it" Jack said
"Same here colonel, you got a beautiful home here"
"Thank you sir, we hope you all enjoy your selves tonight"
"Oh we will"
"Any word on Kinsey?"
"No, nothing in the past three months"
"Well I hope he and his buddies don't show up and ruin the wedding"
"Same here"
"Jack it time" Daniel said
"Ok, well see you later sirs' ma'am" Then the four of them walk up the front with their three grooms men since Jack was Daniel best man and vice versa. It was the same with Steve and Greg they waited while every one sat down and waited also. When the limos arrived, they all got out and walk around to the side of the house and gotten ready. The best men and grooms men were all they're ready and waiting for them. George went and sat down and waited like every one else.
When every one was in place, the music started; first it was Sam four brides maids that walk down first, then Janet four, then Claire four and Kate four brides maids. When they all reach the front three out of the four sat down cause of the room that was needed. Then the music change and every one stood up and waited. Sam and Jacob walk down first. Jack looks at her and smile, when she was half way Janet and Dean started walking down the isle.
Daniel turned and saw Janet that made him smile. When Sam reach the front, Tom and Claire started walking Jacob put Sam hand in Jack then gave her a kiss on the check before sitting down next to Mark when Janet and tom reach the front, Jeff and Kate started walking down the isle. Jack and Sam moved over to their spot holding hands.
Dean put Janet hand in Daniel hand before he gave her a kiss on the check before he sat down with his family. When Tom and Claire reach the front Tom put her hand in to Steve hand before giving her a kiss and sitting down. When Kate and Jeff reach the front, he put Kate hand in Greg then gave her a kiss then he sat down with his family.
Every one watched the wedding and how the minister went from one couple to the next till he pronounces then man and wife. When they all kiss at the same time, the guys dip their wives all at the same time which cause a few chuckles. When they all stood up again and broken the kiss the ministers did the introductions to every one which every one clap to the happy couples Then every one got up and went to congratulated them.
They all talk for an hour before having photos taken. While that was happening, chairs were moved around and tables appeared then snacks and drinks showed up for their guests. Two hours later after all the photos were taken Sam had her train and part of the vail removed and put in the house. Every one enjoyed them selves.
When it was almost time to sit down to dinner ' New taste sensation chocolate fountain' carters showed up and started getting every thing set up. They order six large fountains with dark, milk and white chocolate with all the dipping delicacies that they have to offer for part of the desert that they all got plan. Since there was almost two thousand wedding guests there. The brides and grooms were all siting at the bridal table where they could see every one.
They where all enjoying them selves, laughing, talking, eating and drinking, there was disoable cameras on each of the tables. In between each courses some of the personal got up and said a few words about each of the couple including General Hammond him self. Some of the stories were funny about Jack and Sam, the things they did on base, which cause people to laugh.
Later that evening, every one enjoyed the chocolate deserts; most of them went back for seconds and thirds. Afterwards every one mingles for a while till it was all they're first wedding dance for the evening. Then the four couples were on the dance floor the music started, every one listen to the words and smile as they watch them dance around the floor. When Jack and Sam were dancing, they were also listening to the words

They were looking into one another eyes, dancing and kissing, mouthing the words 'I love you' to each other while every one around them were watching them and taking photos of each of the couples. At the end of the song they all kiss while every one cheer them on. Then they walk over to where their wedding cakes are, Jack pick up the microphone.
"We all hope you all have enjoyed your selves tonight, well we hope you save some room for cake. So if you want to take photos of each of us cutting and feed one another, come on over with your cameras" then he put the microphone down and walk over to where Sam is.
They all choice the same design for there cake but different shape and type of cake. Jack and Sam choice chocolate with raspberry filling heart shape seven tiers, wedding cake with double glass heart shape swans sitting on top a round white silk and lace disk for their topper.
Daniel and Janet choice vanilla with lemon filling seven tiers square cake with 'love dove' topper on there. Kate and Greg choice round coconut cake with chocolate filling with 'for get me knot' heart shape topper. Steve and Claire choice seven tier marble with chocolate banana filling hexagon wedding cake with marine and bride topper for their cake.
All the cakes got white frosting, each layer it got white roses on the bottom with inch wide brides maid material around the bottom with four small lilies on two sides of the cake but only on six of the seven layers. They all took tuns in cutting the cake. Kissing and feeding each other while photos were been taken. Then afterward it was the removing of the garters and throws them to all the single men and the throwing of the bouquets to all the single women. Then they went and pick some one and stared dancing with them, and then others started getting up and dance during the evening.
