In a world where there exists Gamindustri, lifted by 4 nations that represent the games that are the Goddesses.
The 4 nations ruled by the Goddesses go by their respective colours, such as the White Lowee, Purple Planeptune, Black Lastation and Green Leanbox.
The Goddesses defeated the evil one known as Arfoire as peace was restored, or so it was…
While the 3 Goddesses remain fine, one of them is shown to be an anomaly in which she is incompatible with handling a Hard Drive Divinity, causing the purple Goddess to go haywire and feed on the share energy that is keeping her barely stable.
This damages the reputation of Planeptune, but was able to be supported by Lowee in terms of shares, resources and population, making the white Goddess far more dominant in shares.
But that didn't stop the purple Goddess, leading her to clear her name and work in order to keep the world at peace.
That's all I got for now, let's begin the story. - Histoire.
December 24th
Planeptune, Genesis City
Christmas eve, a cheerful day as many are preparing a Christmas event.
The guild is celebrating a party while drinking together, the doctors, nurses and other workers are handing out gifts for each other, people around the city are having their romantic dates as couples are strolling together and a group of friends are eating together at a restaurant.
And here's a long lilac haired girl, wearing a purple coat, pink gloves and a yellow scarf to warm herself up, leaning on the glass fence of a bridge watching the sky as she's thinking about what to do for Christmas while looking at a list that has them all crossed out except for one.
"Let's see here… Games, clothes, some food like meat, eggs, milk and that's it. Sorry, big sis, I can't get you some adult magazines… I'm not allowed in the shop." Sighing, Nepgear is now unsure if she can buy some playboy magazines as she's underaged.
What catches her attention is a shooting star that is bright, leading Nepgear to slowly follow until she realises that it's not her job to do so.
Finally, she walks past, knowing that her sister is out again.
Maybe her sister is following the shooting star that Nepgear saw.
Virtua Forest
A loud bang is heard as it catches the attention of the birds, leading them to fly away and spread out.
Towards the direction of a loud explosion, grunting on the ground is a young man who was in a lot of pain, seeing as he falls onto a snow covered ground.
"I found another target. He's all yours."
"Huh? Who's there?" The young man mumbles after hearing a voice that appears to be a silhouette leaping away from the scene.
After he closes his eyes, he opens them again as he comes across a purple haired petite, in a white parka hoodie, who squats in front of him as he gasps at the sight of a girl's blue and white striped panties.
"Yo. You awake?" The petite asks.
"What the… You're Neptune?" The boy asks while picking himself up.
"The one and only! Man, I'm popular these days!" Neptune is flattered.
With the boy picking himself up, Neptune looks around and then looks at the guild objective on her N-Gear device.
"Huh? Oh, you're on a mission? Maybe I arrived a little too late. Normally, I'd be entering the battle between the Goddesses, or the day you lose your memories." the boy said while rubbing his head.
"Memories? Well, I have a memory gap, so you're not wrong there, mister." Neptune chuckles while rubbing her head.
But what he notices is bandages on her hands and her neck as if Neptune is actually injured.
"Oh? Sorry! I'm hunting Dogoos for 500 credits. Wanna join in?" Neptune asks with a smirk.
"Ah! Sure! Oh, I'm Takumi." Takumi bows while introducing himself.
"Cool! The name's Neptune, the main character of this story!" Neptune cheerfully introduces herself.
"Really? That's amazing! So I'm at Gamindustri, huh? So what's going on? Fighting other Goddesses? Searching for your memories?" Takumi asked.
"Nope. Just hunting for some Dogoos, if you wanna help out?" Neptune offers as Takumi looks around the field side of the forest.
"Sure. So, Where's my weapon?" Takumi asked.
Neptune ignores as she's waiting for the Dogoos to show up to enter death itself.
Raising her Tachi, Neptune knows that she's being followed, leading her to stay close to Takumi.
Finally…
"DOGOO!"
"There it is!" Neptune finally swings her Tachi as it splits a Dogoo in 2 until it vanishes into particles of pixel data, leading Neptune to turn her head, seeing more Dogoos coming around and surrounding her.
To Takumi, Neptune is able to fight like a true hero as more Dogoos are fighting back as Neptune keeps on splitting them apart.
Unfortunately, Neptune takes another slash until she gasps while twitching, causing the pins and needles on her body to react as Neptune collapses down to her knees.
"Ngh! I knew she told me not to overdo it… I must keep going… For my family…" Neptune grunts while pushing herself up from the ground.
Another unfortunate thing, Neptune is now getting battered by a jelly body as more are hitting her like bullets, even some of them bite her on the shoulder, the leg and her stomach, causing Neptune to cough out blood and fall to her knees.
"Neptune! Oh no…" Takumi witnessed the thing that's been dogpiling on Neptune, making his hands shake out of anger and worry.
What is he going to do? Realising that he has no weapon to use and Neptune drops her weapon after all the beating she received.
This gives him the chance to pick up Neptune's Tachi and raise it, also giving him the chance to look at the targets that's all over Neptune herself.
What covers the katana is an aura that is unusual, giving Neptune the impression that he's a lot more powerful than he appears to be.
Then she gasped.
There he is.
Yelling, Takumi, in a split second, swipes the katana as it blows the Dogoos away, causing them to vanish into particles of pixel data.
In Neptune's eyes, she can see him.
She can see the boy who has that much power that even the Goddesses wouldn't be able to handle him in the future.
Landing from behind is the very first boss as it appears to be a large humanoid insect with a sword, Guard Vermin.
"Oh crap!" Takumi exclaimed.
"Heh. Just my luck, I'm the one getting swatted by a bug. I guess it's over. Takumi, run." Neptune admits her loss as she lowers her head with a pitiful smile and looks Takumi in the eyes.
To Takumi, there's still a chance as Neptune is holding something inside her body.
Something that benefits them.
"Neptune. Use your Hard Drive Divinity." Takumi orders, causing Neptune to jolt up as she knows what's happen if she did.
"What? B- But…"
"Can you transform?"
"Well, yeah. But still…"
"Then transform! We can beat this monster, no problem!" Takumi grins while punching his own palm.
Neptune can tell he's not afraid as she pities the guy who wants to fight alongside her and her friends.

Gasping, Neptune opens her eyes with a slight jolt.
Where she was right now is sitting on top of Takumi while drawing her katana near his neck, causing her to remind herself that her HDD is uncontrollable and was highly dangerous to others.
"So that's why you're hesitant on transforming. I never thought I would see a beautiful Goddess acting like a monster." Takumi whispers as he pulls a nervous smile.
Neptune had realised that her action has been compromised by her evil Goddess side, knowing that she has another mission to do.
What's worse is that the field is stained with bug blood with data coming out, leading Neptune to sigh.
"Listen to me, Takumi. Why did you enter Gamindustri?" Neptune is now asking questions with a serious tone.
"Huh? I was sent there without any warning." Takumi tries to explain while his sweat drops to the ground.
"So why are you able to single-handedly beat those Dogoos that are actually buffed in power?" Neptune is putting her katana closer to his neck.
Takumi couldn't explain as if he's gifted with the power that makes him the strongest.
But in Neptune's case, he mustn't go on any longer.
"So you haven't lost your memories…" Takumi grunts.
"Blame the Goddess, she's crazy when I fall asleep. It's no wonder I have a memory gap." Neptune shrugs her shoulders, only for her to twitch in pain.
"So those bandages aren't from the console wars?"
"Well, aside from fighting my friends, these are from fighting monsters, the authorities and the villains that attempted to harm Gamindustri." Neptune explains the bandages on her body.
"And my destiny?"
"You don't have a destiny. You're too dangerous to live. If we let you go, then you'll not only abuse that power, but you'll go out of your way by taking advantage of us. No one knows if it's aphrodisiac, or anything dangerous, we can't let you go." Neptune concludes by swiping her Tachi down.
This resulted in Takumi quickly jabbing Neptune's torso as Neptune exclaims and falls to her side, yanking Tachi and charging his aura while pointing at Neptune.
"I'm too dangerous!? I'll save Gamindustri, even you guys from Arfoire!" Takumi yells as he's ready to knock Neptune out.
This had Neptune pulling out a white purple handgun that is called 'Glock N3P,' A gun created by Nepgear as a useful one, even a second one in her pocket is a black lilac handgun called 'Glock G34R,' also made by Nepgear.
"Let's dance!" Neptune grunts with a smile, facing someone that is too powerful to the point that it'll cause some destruction in Gamindustri.
As Takumi vanishes, Neptune pulls a smirk and slides by the tree and leaps onto it and then holds out a white handgun.
"Where are you?" Neptune stays quiet, knowing that he's all over in order to stop Neptune herself from trying to end him.
Before Neptune pulls a trigger, a large cut on the tree has caused Neptune to collapse as the tree crashed, leading Neptune to quickly pick up a gun and pull the trigger.
As a bullet scrapes Takumi's hand, causing the sword to drop, Neptune hastily dashes towards her Tachi while avoiding a blast that creates a large crater, and finally jabs her blade through as it pierces through his chest.
Panting, Neptune has won, especially when she's at her weakest.
"I remember hearing stories like this… But there's one flaw you made. I was with Compa during our first quest and IF joined us after she saved our lives. I know romance is fun and nice, but what I'm here for is to save the world and go back to gaming at home. See ya, Takumi. If only you weren't scarily powerful." Neptune speaks out her words to Takumi as Takumi coughs out blood.
"Kah! N- Nep… Tune…" As Takumi says his last words, a Tachi was removed from him, causing him to collapse as he's leaking blood.
Takumi is dead…
Neptune couldn't help but pity the boy who wants to help others, but will end up drunk with power, which resulted in putting him down.
"I know hunting Dogoos is my guild mission, but hunting you guys is my job as an assassin." Neptune reveals her status as she turns around, feeling the stinging pain after fighting a fellow human.
Pulling out her N-Gear, it reads 'Mission Complete' as Neptune pulls out a phone given by IF herself.
"Histoire, that's another one hunted down." Neptune calls.
[Honestly. At that condition, you could've died there. But well done, go back to our store and we'll get you some pudding.] A voice of Histoire called.
This had Neptune glee as she strolls away from a body, rewarded for all the hard work she did, despite feeling guilty for murdering more humans than before.
But it's for Gamindustri's safety.
"Goodbye, Takumi."
Back to Planeptune.
Looking at the brown sky near a gaming store, a miniature girl on a tome, Histoire, is silent while seeing how far she and her children are facing their own turmoil after what happened to Neptune earlier.
It's hard to imagine what the future holds with a monster inside a girl who was a Goddess, only for a nation to be carried by another Goddess.
As the phone rings, Historie picks it up after seeing the name on the phone.
"Uni. Talk."
[I found a monster and it's dead. Sword slashes on it and it wasn't Neptune nor Nepgear this time.] Uni calls, discovering a monster's body which most likely loses data all over its body.
"Really now. Hm. Oh, I was thinking if you can bring those people with you to our place for Christmas. What do you think?" Histoire offers.
[Tomorrow? I mean… If it's for Nepgear, then sure.]
"Ah. That's good. Anyway, see you tomorrow." Hanging up the phone, Histoire is seeing Nepgear returning with the bags as she's glad to see her. "Nepgear. Welcome back."
"I'm home." Nepgear giggles as she waves.
"Neptune has eliminated another target."
"Oh… I hope big sis is okay." Nepgear frowns, worried that she and Neptune are making themselves out as murderous villains.
"I'm sure she will. IF is giving her a lift back home. Tomorrow is Christmas after all. Even Uni is coming." Histoire said.
"Really? That's great! I can't wait!" Nepgear cheers.
Finally, both Nepgear and Histoire enter a gaming store that is surprisingly owned by Neptune, in order to live under a roof and run a business there.
At least tomorrow is a fun time for those that've been working hard in Planeptune.
