Stephanie and Vincent stepped off the elevator at the WWE Headquarters and walked down the hallway toward the glass doors and through them.
"I will see you late, Steph," Vincent said.
"Later, Vinny," Stephanie said, walking toward their father's office.
Stephanie reached her father's office and saw him talking with his secretary.
"Good Morning!" Stephanie said as Vince Sr. turned around to see his daughter there.
"Good Morning, Stephanie. What can I do for you?" Vince Sr. said.
"I need to speak with you. If you are not busy right now?" Stephanie replied
"I am free to talk to you," Vince Sr. said, walking into his office. Stephanie followed him inside, and Vince closed the door behind her.
"What's up?" Vince Sr. asked, walking toward his desk.
Stephanie clears her throat and replies, "Um… Vinny told me the plan is to confront Nikki Bella on RAW."
Vince looked up and said, "OK. You don't like what plan was out."
"No, Dad, but I need to be the big sister I was before he entered my life."
Vince knew what Stephanie was getting and said, "Stephanie Marie Evelyn McMahon, I understand what you want but."
"But what, Dad?"
"I know Stephanie, you too."
"And Dad. My baby sister is pregnant with her fifth child, and there is no way, no way, that I am going to let that skanky bitch take my sister's husband away from her or my nieces and nephews... That is not going to happen, Dad."
Stephanie opened the door, left his office, and headed for her. Vince Sr. sighed heavily, understood his oldest daughter, and wanted to protect her baby sister's marriage. Stephanie walked into her office, put her purse down, took off her jacket, threw it in the chair, and then went through her purse, looking for her cell and found it. Stephanie opened her cell, looked through her contacts, and saw her mom's number. She pressed it and called her.
Stephanie listened to the phone ring and then heard her mom's voice.
"Good Morning, sweetie," her mother said.
"Good Morning, Mom," Stephanie said.
Linda heard her oldest daughter's anger and asked, "What's wrong, Stephie?"
"I am sure Dad talks to you about the plan to confront Nikki Bella, right?"
"Yes, Dad spoke to me about that."
"Well, Vinny spoke with me, and I asked my twin if I at least get to beat on that Skanky."
"And what did Vinny tell you?" her mom asked.
"Vinny told me that it's up to Dad."
"You asked him, and he was hesitated, correct?" Her mom asked.
"Yes, mom. I want the opportunity to beat on her, but Dad will not let it happen."
"I understand where you come from, honey. Give your father some time to think about it. If the answer is still no, I will talk to him for you, ok?"
"OK, Mom, I will give him time to think about it."
"Good girl, but also talk to Kathy about drafting the beating down, just in case your father changes his mind because you know him. He needs to think about things before agreeing to it."
"OK, Mom, thanks for listening to me."
"No problem honey, that's what parents are for, to listen and give advice."
There was a knock on the door, and Stephanie quickly said, "Bye, Mom."
"Bye, honey."
Stephanie ended her call and called out, "Come in."
The door opened, and her twin and his wife Kathleen closed the door behind them.
"Hey there, Stephie," Kathleen said with a smile.
"Hi, Kathy," Stephanie said.
"I take it you spoke with Dad, and he wouldn't agree to allow you to beat on Skanky Nikki," Vinny said.
"Yes, but I just got off the phone with Mom, and she told me to give Dad some time to think about it, and if the answer is still no, she will talk to him for me."
"I know you trust Mom and her opinion, Stephie. Let's see what Dad does."
"I will, Vinny, but Mom told me to talk to you, Kathy, about drafting the beat down just in case Dad changes his mind."
