Darth Vader led Leia down the corridors of the Executor. He stopped by a door. The door opened and Vader spoke to Leia. "Here are your quarters. I had your things brought from the transport. You may want to change out of that winter gear. "Vader said. "Right. I am a little warn in here. "Leia replied. Vader left her and Leia began to undress.
Han landed the Millennium Falcon on a landing pad at Cloud City. Lando Calrissian met him. "You have a lot of guys coming here after what you pulled. "Lando said. Lando smiled. "How are you doing? "Lando asked. "Repairs. "Han said. "What have you done to my ship? "Lando asked. "Your ship. You lost her fair and square to me. Problems with the hyperdrive. "Han said. "We will get to work on it right away. 'Lando replied. "I am in hurry. A friend of mine was captured by the empire, and I need to reach her friend to ask him for help. 'Han explained. "Anyone I know? "Lando asked. "Princess Leia. Her ship was shot down on Hoth. "Han replied. "Don't worry. We will get your ship fixed. "Lando said as they both entered Cloud City.
Leia was led to Vader's quarters. She was wearing her white dress she wore when she was captured and imprisoned on the Death Star. She had her hair down. Vader was waiting near his meditation chamber. "You didn't put your hair like on the Death Star. "Vader said. "I don't feel like it. "Leia replied. "Is it because of the destruction of Alderaan? "Vader asked. "No that has nothing to do with it. You force me to watch it explode. "Leia groaned. "If I had known you were my daughter, I would not have tortured you on the Death Star nor allowed Alderaan to be destroyed. I was against it in the first place. It caused more planets to join the rebellion. "Vader explained.
"How and why did you fall to the dark side? "Leia asked. "When I learned that your mother was pregnant with you, I started having visions of her dying in childbirth. Yoda told me to let her die. Palpatine said his master Darth Plaqueis knew how to keep those he loved from dying. The jedi wouldn't allow me to become a master because Palpatine made me his representative on the jedi council. I wanted to search the restricted section of the archives to look for a way to save her. When I was in Palpatine's office Mace Windu had him cornered. Master Windu wouldn't deal with my fear of losing my angel and I killed him. Palpatine never taught me how to save her. I force choked her on Mustafar and thought she died there. "Vader explained.
"You idiot! You acted on impulse. Why didn't ask Palpatine to prove it first? "Leia asked. "I was consumed by fear. I couldn't control myself. Palpatine said it needed to be learned. "Vader replied. "Did you ask her if she had any problems with her pregnancy? Did you ask Obi Wan what you should do? 'Leia asked. "Padme said she was fine. Attachments weren't allowed in the jedi order. They would have expelled me. Obi Wan took all my attachments away. "Vader groaned. "I don't believe that last part. Who was my mother? "Leia asked. 'Padme Amidala the former queen and senator of Naboo. She was my angel. "Vader sighed. "She was my inspiration for going into the senate. I never knew. "Leia said.
"Where is your brother Luke Skywalker? "Vader asked. "He went to Dagobah to be trained by a master Yoda there. "Leia explained. "He was the grand master of the jedi order. "Vader said. "Maybe he can help you. Father. "Leia said. "He is my enemy. "Vader shouted. "Only in your mind. Come on "Leia replied. "Alright we will go to Dagobah. "Vader replied. They headed for Vader's shuttle.
Vader flew the shuttle out of the hanger and jumped into hyperspace heading for Dagobah. She was still shocked by what her father told her. Manipulated by the Sith and the Jedi caused him to ruin his life. "No one deserved that. "Leia thought to herself. "Worse it cost him the woman he loved for what? To kill millions more innocent lives and never know his children survived. All because of Palpatine. "Leia thought. They left hyperspace and approached Dagobah. "How will we find Luke and Yoda? "Leia asked. "The force will guide us to them. "Vader replied.
Luke had just come out of the cave and learned why he failed when he heard a noise above him. Lights appeared through the clouds and a shuttle descended towards the ground. "Visitors we have. "Yoda said. The shuttle landed. Vader and Leia came down the ramp. Luke started to grab his lightsaber when Yoda stopped him. "Deal with this Sith I will. "Yoda said. "Wait! Stop! "Leia shouted as she moved in between Vader and Yoda. "Just like you mother. "Vader said as Leia held her arms out. "He is our father, and I am your sister Luke. "Leia said. "True it is Luke. "Yoda said. "I know exactly why father fell to the dark side. "Leia said. "Explain you will. "Yoda replied.
"Anakin mother was killed by Tuskin Raiders. They were led to her by Count Dooku to cause Anakin to give in to the dark side when she died. Not one jedi consoled him afterward. They didn't care. Palpatine wanted Anakin and Padme to marry. He didn't know they were really in love with each other. They were strong together, maybe too strong for Palpatine, which is why he tried to break them up. He sent Clovis to drive a wedge between them. When Padme was pregnant with us Anakin had visions of her dying in childbirth just like he had visions of his mother dying. The visions were created by Palpatine to make Anakin fall. You told him to let her die idiot! The jedi council denied Anakin the rank of master because Palpatine made him his representative on the council. What he really did was force the council into a no-win scenario. If you made Anakin a master and put him on the council, he could be Palpatine's spy. If you made him a master and did not put him on the council Anakin would still be angry at you just like when you didn't grant him the rank of master. Why didn't you explain to him why he couldn't be a master? It would have calmed him down. You didn't care how he felt about it and you turned your back on him. "Leia said.
"Manipulated by Palpatine we were. Wrong it was to send Anakin to spy on the chancellor for us. Love he needed more than jedi training. "Yoda replied. "There was a being called the father who lured me to Mortis. He said I had to take his place and control his children to maintain the balance. His daughter represented the light side and his son the dark side. The daughter wounded the father and I defeated both. I don't remember the rest of it. I didn't want to take his place. I wanted to live my own life something both the jedi and the Sith denied me. "Vader groaned. "Obi Wan took all my attachments away from me. "Vader continued.
"I was only following the code at the time. I hid your children because Yoda and I thought you would try to kill them. I told you that you couldn't be married to Padme and the order. I was wrong. The code didn't allow attachments such as marriage at the time. "Obi Wan's ghost said. "It took you this long to figure that out. You made me into this. "Vader shouted. "I wanted you to be happy. "Obi wan said. "Why didn't you say that before I fell? Was it all that Jedi brainwashing? "Vader asked. "I was afraid of being expelled. "Obi Wan replied.
"Wrong we were about attachments. Failed you and your wife we did. Love is the key to defeating the Sith. "Yoda said. "Wrong we were to not make you take the trials. "Yoda continued.
"It is too late for that. The jedi order is no more. "Vader said.
"There is one you can take. Go into the cave. "Yoda ordered. "What is in there? "Vader asked. "Only what you take. "Yoda answered. "Your weapon you will not need it. "Yoda said. Luke already held out his hand. "I already made that mistake. "Luke said. Vader handed his lightsaber to Luke and headed into the cave. "He still needs love. "Leia said. "Lost he is. "Yoda replied. "Maybe he can still come back. "Leia replied. Vader was in the cave and saw Palpatine as a normal person before being injured during the fight with Mace Windu. "Now that Anakin is a Padawan and nearly a jedi knight it is time to start turning him to the dark side. Count Dooku I want you to go to Tatooine and lead some Tuskin Raiders to Anakin's mother and have them kidnap and kill her. "Palpatine said. "Good he is married to Padme. Now I can exploit this. They are too strong together. I must break Anakin and Padme up. I will send Clovis to drive a wedge between them. Ahh Padme is pregnant now these visions of her dying will drive him to me. Palpatine said.
"He is now mine. "Palpatine said after Anakin left for the jedi temple during order 66.
"NNNNOOOOOOOOO!" Vader screamed as he held his fists in the air. The ground shook around the cave.
"What's going on? "Luke asked. "Discovered the truth Anakin has. "Yoda replied.
Darth Vader came out of the cave. "That is why you failed. Too impulsive you were. "Yoda said.
"Palpatine never taught me how to heal myself or save Padme. "Vader groaned. 'For the Sith to heal anyone impossible it is. Only those in the light can heal. "Yoda said.
"Had you told me that on the day I fell I would not have fallen and lost Padme. I only joined the Sith to save her. I was tricked. "Vader groaned.
"Gave in to your emotions you did. "Yoda said. "He needs his angel back. You need to bring our mother back. "Leia said. "Strong I am with the force, but not that strong. "Yoda replies. "Heal her Anakin could have. "Yoda said. "How do I? "Vader asked. "Return to the light. Leave the darkness. Sworn to the light Padme was. "Yoda explained.
Leia started towards the cave. "Leia we must return to the Executor. "Vader said. "It's my turn to enter the cave. Don't try to stop me. "Leia replied.
Leia entered the cave. She saw her mother dying after giving birth to her. "There is still good in him. "Padme cried. "Mother! "Leia shouted. "HA HA HA princess I killed your mother and turned your father into a monster. Soon I will kill you. "Palpatine said. "Never monster! Leia shouted. She tried to fight with her hands, but they kept going through the emperor. She gave up and left the cave.
"Passed you have Leia. "Yoda said. "Do you have parts to build a lightsaber? "Leia asked. "Yes, in my hut. Take what you need. "Yoda said.
Leia went into Yoda's hut and found parts and a kyber crystal for a lightsaber. She returned with the parts in a bag. "Okay father let's go back to your ship. "Leia said. Leia and Vader boarded the shuttle and headed back to the Executor.
