"Triple-A high five." Bryce smiled holding out his gun-free hand to his newest client until the girl figured out what he wanted and tapped his waiting palm with a curled fist as she smiled up at him with an adorable toothy giggle as Bryce twists a few of her dark curls around his fingers returning her beaming smile with a soft one of his own.

"Dammit, Bryce,"

The man himself only gives an innocent "What? Also, nice to see you at least put on pants this time before this party started" as he catches his breath the same moment, he tosses away the empty weapon onto the blood and white powdered littered floor. The thing landing with a soft thump beside an equally empties a bullet-ridden container of baby powder as he turns towards the stern expression waiting for him from the splintered doorway of the shot-up bedroom.

Darius only rolling his eyes giving only the smallest of glances at his half-dressed state as he pushes a fresh clip into his weapon before passing it over with a grumpy "I thought Sonia and I made it clear. No shooting around your little sister." as he glances pointedly to the giggling little girl strapped to his adopted son's chest before he puts one last bullet into the would-be attacker still groaning in pain on the floor of what had been the little girl's bedroom of the family's no longer safe, safe house. His kneecaps were already blown out by two of Bryce's disabling attacks after he'd already blinded the masked man with the baby powder.

"I'm just glad we got that diaper changed before the bad man stormed in." Again, Darius rolled his eyes at the soft cooing of Bryce's voice before his expression hardened once more "and you two were the ones that taped it under her crib, Pops." His adopted son argues once more adjusting the toddler-sized ear and eye protection he'd just managed to slip over the toddler's tiny little eyes and ears before the real 'fun' began.

The bulletproof red and black carrier clashes loudly with the blood-splattered green of his thrown-on tee-shirt and dark purple of his cotton boxer shorts as Bryce rubs a hand over his bleeding nose as he followed Kincade down the hall before more baddies show up. Darius making sure to at least pick up one of the many prepacked dipper bags his wife insists on keeping around the house before following Bryce and baby Raven out to the car.

"Did you at least remember to pick up Ooly this time?" Bryce questions still keeping an eye for reinforcements as he worked quickly to strap his younger sister into her car seat

"Mean that stupid ass Deadpool-looking panda thing you have her convinced she can't sleep without?" Darius asks holding up the bear in question by its ankle. "Yeah, I grabbed him. Unlike you who just about left his fluffy ass."

"Hey, I was on baby watch." Bryce snaps back dropping a light kiss to Raven's dark curls as Raven herself makes grabby hands towards her favored stuffed toy Darius was already attempting to pass back to the giggling toddler as more dark-colored vans skid into the drive trying to block the fleeing trio's exit route.

"Any idea?" Bryce asks wincing slightly as he shakes more splintered wood and broken glass from his hair and clothes. Also, he wished it's thought to grab pants on his way into his younger clint's room for another late-night diaper change.

"First we get RaRa safe, then we make sure Sonja's alright, after that, we go find whatever sleazy low-life ass hat tried to shoot us up and bust the biggest egg in his backside as we can find." Darius nodes clipping the seatbelt into place as Bryce revered quickly the same moment gunfire started pinging off the bulletproof glass of the car's windows and siding.

"Is this the bag from RaRa's cubby or the one from the hall closet beside the back door?" Bryce questions noticing the thing at Darius's feet as Raven snuggles happily with the red and black colored bear as the car swung around in a tight fishtailed and sped down a side path away from the still firing guns behind them.

"It's the one I grabbed first when I was also watching for stupid cat snacks who think it's okay to go around pointing loaded guns at my miracle girl." Darius answers rolling down the window to give some semblance of return fire to the cars already in hot pressure.

It was true considering it was nothing short of an honest miracle when Sonja had shown him that small pink plus signed test a few weeks after they'd gotten the all-clear to come back to dry land after all those months out on the boat letting Interpol deal with all that red tape.

The baby when she was born nine long months later in the back seat of a similar reinforced van also in the middle of a traded gunfight was in Darius's mind the perfect blending of Sonia and himself into one adorable tiny being.

"Well cause the one from the cubby has different weapons and baby stock than the one from the hall closet." Bryce says guiding the still speeding van into another tight turn. "but the one from the hall…."

A loud sobbing cry along with the sounds of breaking glass nearly as the bodyguard slams the breaks as both men's heads whip around to star between the seats into the back.

"Mother asss." Darius snarls one hand sticking out the window to give more cover fire whilst Bryce navigates driving with one hand and searching what he could reach of the back seat for the dropped bear Raven was upset at losing in the hale of still coming gunfire.

Darius giving a grumpy "Just drive, dammit." Before taking up the hunt himself only to curse louder with a dazed "Those snake asses killed Ooly." when he finds the still smoking shot that was essentially right between the bear's eyes to take the plushy life of the smallest Kincaid's favored toy. The words only making the still sobbing toddler in the backseat cry even harder as she reaches for the mangled remains of her bear. Her big brother had won it for her at a fair the year before.

"And this is for Ooly." Bryce yelled once more spinning the car, so they were now facing what was left of the oncoming swarm of black vans. The last few calculatedly fired shots ignited the propane tank of the empty gas station exploding the last of the stragglers in a fiery haze of exploding chemicals and flying metal.
