Title: You're My Everything

Summary: Spencer never felt he deserved Trina. He loved her more than life itself and he proved it by risking his own freedom to try to save her. What he doesn't know is Trina has always held him in her heart, even when she didn't know it. Will fate intervene for the hopeful couple? Will Rory do the decent thing and step aside? 'Sprina' endgame. Rated T for now but eventual M.

A/N: I was originally going to post this when 'Sprina' first made love, but things happened. Anyway, I have wanted to write a 'Sprina' story ever since I fell in love with the couple. I just didn't know where to start. After watching the scene where Spencer decided to write his letter to Trina on 9/2/2022, I decided to start there. I couldn't read what he wrote and I don't remember everything that was said. So, I'm putting my own spin on the letter. I'm also putting my own spin on 'Sprina's' love story. In my opinion, it was taking them too long for them to get together in the beginning. I hope you'll come with me for the ride. Please let me know what you think as this is my first 'Sprina' story. Enjoy.

Chapter 1

***Metro Court***

(Spencer woke up from his horrible nightmare. Ugh! Thank God that's all it was…a nightmare. But, it felt like the real thing. Esme escaping from his nightmare and standing right in front of him is definitely NOT what Spencer wanted)

(He wished Esme would go straight to hell…if she wasn't there already. Just the thought of her anywhere near him makes him sick to his stomach)

(He quickly shakes his head, as if to attempt to get rid of any residue of Esme or the bad dream. He wipes his face with his hand and looks all over to make sure he's all alone in his room…which he is. He gets out of bed and his eyes are a little tear-stained from the nightmare he just had. He knew what he needed to do next)

(Spencer grabbed a notepad and a pen from the dresser by the bed. He sat down in front of his bed using a food tray as something hard to write against. He didn't know if there was ever going to be a right time to pour his heart out to the woman he loved. He knew they kept getting interrupted, so if she read his letter, at least she'd know how he truly felt about her)

(He looks up momentarily before he began)

Trina,

I'm sorry it took me this long to tell you everything. To say I was an idiot is an understatement. If I don't get it out in this letter, I may never be brave enough to tell you. Here goes. I have always believed since you got arrested that you were innocent when it came to the leaked sex tape of Joss and Cameron. I know that you would never do something like that. I should have said something, a lot sooner than when the trial ended. That's my fault. I wished my confession regarding putting flowers on my mother's grave helped you. I'm sorry it didn't. One thing I have always wanted to tell you, Trina. I know I'm probably too late because you're with Rory now. Ever since the day I met you and got to know you, I fell head over heels in love with you. I've had so many chances to tell you, but we kept getting interrupted. I don't expect you to say it back. If you're happy with Rory, I'm happy for you. Just please know, I love you and always will. I wish you nothing but happiness.

Spencer Cassadine

(Spencer folds the letter and then puts it in an envelope. Even though he wasn't technically invited to Trina's party, he wanted to officially congratulate her on being free. Spencer rests the letter in his inside pocket of his suit that he decided to wear. First, he showered so he was nice and clean. He wanted to look nice for her, so he dressed up for the girl of his dreams)

(He then left his hotel suite that his grandma was kind in getting for him for a few days)

***The Savoy****

(Trina is dancing with Rory and was impressed with his dancing skills. After the song is over, Trina goes to talk to her parents)

Portia: "How are you doing, honey?"

Trina: (nods) "I'm okay."

Taggert: "You were on fire there with Officer Cabrera."

Rory: (chuckles) "Rory, please. And thank you, sir."

Trina: (chuckles) "We were just dancing, dad. I'm here to have a good time. Rory is helping me with that."

Portia: "Well, I'm glad."

(All of a sudden, Trina sees Spencer make his appearance. Trina and Spencer lock eyes with each other. She didn't know how it was possible, but just seeing him for that short amount of time already? She was getting butterflies in her stomach. Come to think of it, she was dancing with Rory, she didn't exactly get those same butterflies in her tummy. That surprised her and caught her off-guard)

(Trina's mind came back to reality when she felt a slight touch on her arm by her mother)

Trina: "Huh? I'm sorry, what?"

Portia: (chuckles lightly) "I said, honey, do you want me to throw Spencer out? I don't want him bothering you."

Trina: (shakes her head) "I'm sure he's just coming to congratulate me and wish me well. I'll be right back."

(Trina makes her way to Spencer, who is still on the other side of the room at the entrance of 'The Savoy'. Rory can't help but look on in a bit of jealousy although he tried not to show it. Spencer met with Trina right by the stairs to the entrance. He offers a smile but it's clear he's in a sad state)

Spencer: "I don't want any trouble."

Trina: (a bit confused) "What are you doing here?"

Spencer: "I just came here to officially say congrats and that I'm happy for you. I hope you have a great time at the party." (smiles more) "You deserve it. You deserve everything in life, Trina Robinson."

Trina: (shakes her head) "You don't have to go. I mean, yes, it's my party. But, if you want to stay, I'm letting you."

Spencer: (cautiously) "Are you sure? I don't want to cause any problems."

Trina: (nods) "This is my party and I get to decide who gets to stay."

(Spencer rests his hand in the pocket of his suit, wondering if now he should give her the letter)

Trina: "Have fun."

Spencer: "I hope you know that I am so happy for you. All I have ever wanted for you is your happiness." (to himself) "Even if it's not with me."

(Trina looks at him strangely. She turns her head a bit as she wonders what is going on. She knew she needed to find out)

Trina: "Is there something you want to tell me, Spencer? I feel like we keep getting interrupted."

(Spencer opens his mouth to speak, but no words come out. God, he wanted to tell her more than anything! His letter is slightly out, waiting to give to her. Trina sighs deeply in frustration)

Trina: "Spencer! What is going on?"

(Spencer closes his mouth, clears his throat and readjusts the top of his suit before he speaks. He looks around a bit as he doesn't want anyone to hear their conversation)

Spencer: "Not here. I want us to be alone completely." (tilts his head) "I also want you to celebrate because this is your night to shine."

(His hands feel the envelope and he's tempted to give her the envelope to read when she's alone. He takes a step closer to her and can smell her sunflower perfume all around her body. Damn, Spencer thought to himself. She smelled so damn good! If they were in his room, he would completely ravage her. But, sadly, they weren't in his room. He has had daydreams and fantasies of making sweet love to her for as long as he can remember. He also longed to kiss her so he could taste that strawberry lip gloss he swore he could smell was on her lips)

(Just as Spencer felt brave enough to give Trina his letter, they were interrupted AGAIN by Rory. Just like when Spencer attempted to tell Trina the truth after the trial was done at the courthouse. They were interrupted by Rory then, too. Spencer felt like he could never get a break when it came to Officer Rory Cabrera's bad timing)

(Rory gave Spencer a bit of a warning look before speaking)

Rory: "Is everything okay? You were gone awhile. Just wanted to make sure you were okay."

(Judging from the nervous looks Trina and Spencer were giving each other, Rory could tell he interrupted something. Honestly, though? He didn't really care. He felt Spencer was moving in on his girlfriend and he needed to put a stop to it. Spencer and Trina share one last look before Trina offers a smile to Rory)

Trina: "Nope. Everything is fine. Spencer, I think, was going to tell me something. Rory, can I have a moment alone with Spencer, please?"

Rory: (weirdly) "Are you sure, Trina? You're missing out on your party."

(Trina faces Rory seriously while resting a hand on Spencer's shoulder)

Trina: "My party can wait. Please excuse us."

(Spencer stops Trina in her tracks, catching her off-guard)

Spencer: "No, Officer Cabrera is right, Trina. You're missing your party."

(Trina chuckles nervously as she pulls Spencer to the side so she can try talking to Spencer in a hushed tone)

Trina: "It's clear you have more to say."

Spencer: "You have a room full of people. We're going to keep getting interrupted. Officer Cabrera…"

Trina: (interrupting) "Rory."

Spencer: (rolls his eyes) "Whatever. Whether it's Rory or someone else, we won't have any privacy here. I want you to have fun."

(Trina was so torn! She wanted to hear what Spencer had to say. She also understood his point that she didn't want to leave her own party and they wouldn't have privacy while she stayed. Besides, she couldn't leave Rory to talk to Spencer as that was rude. Trina shakes her head in defeat as she knew Spencer was right)

Trina: "Okay, you're right. We WILL talk about this, though."

(Spencer smiles a bit at her and makes sure the letter is tucked back in his pocket for safety)

Spencer: "Have a good night, Trina."

(Spencer and Rory share a look before Spencer goes into the party again, leaving Trina and Rory alone)

Rory: "Are you okay?"

Trina: (moans a bit) "I know there was something he wanted to tell me."

Rory: (shrugs) "It couldn't have been too important if he walked away."

(Trina glances at Rory a bit angrily)

Trina: "It's because we kept getting interrupted."

Rory: (scoffs lightly) "If you want me to leave so you can talk to Spencer, just let me know. Although, I'd rather be here with you."

(Trina groans loudly as she briefly rests her hands on her forehead before facing Rory)

Trina: "No, I-I don't want that. I'm just so damn frustrated because I don't know what the hell is going on!"

(Rory offers Trina comfort from his arms, which she accepts. She briefly closes her eyes and for a moment, thinks of Spencer. What the heck is wrong with her? She didn't understand. Why does she keep thinking of Spencer romantically when she's with Rory? She sighs softly as she thought she might be beginning to understand. Her thoughts are dashed when Rory offers her his hand, which she takes and they go back to the party)

(Spencer is in the corner of the room drinking a glass of water. He's looking at the envelope with Trina's name written on it. Cameron comes up to Spencer and sits down next to his friend)

Cameron: "How are you doing?"

Spencer: (nods) "I'm fine. Trina's having a great time at her party."

Cameron: "Josslyn and I saw you with Trina earlier. And then Rory came into the picture."

Spencer: "Yeah, he has a tendency of interrupting. Then again, it is a public place."

(Cameron sees the envelope and nods)

Cameron: "What's that?"

(Spencer glances at Cameron, who points at the envelope. Spencer tilts his head and speaks in a casual tone)

Spencer: "It's for Trina. I wrote it for her at the hotel."

Cameron: (bewildered) "Why haven't you given it to her yet? What's in it?"

Spencer: "It's kind of hard to give it to her when we keep getting interrupted every time we try talking by Officer Cabrera. As for what's in it? Everything. I poured my heart into it."

(Cameron makes sure Spencer is listening to him as he speaks)

Cameron: "Spencer, you need to give her that letter. She deserves to know how you truly feel about her. Not only that. But that you believed in her this whole time."

Spencer: (scoffs a bit) "Cameron, she's happy with Rory. Look at my life. I don't want to cause her grief. Besides, I'm going to Pentonville for three months. I can't expect her to wait for me." (determined look) "I WON'T ask her to."

(Cameron gives Spencer a serious face)

Cameron: "That's not for you to decide, Spencer. Let Trina make her own choices when it comes to you."

(As much as Spencer didn't want to admit it, Cameron was right. Spencer didn't want to put Trina on the spot. She deserved to know the truth, though. Spencer owed her that much. Spencer watched Trina and Rory dance and he truly could not stomach it anymore)

Spencer: "I need to leave. I can't watch her be happy with him. I'm going back to the hotel. Maybe there's something good on TV."

Cameron: "What about the letter?"

(Spencer takes the letter out of the pocket of his suit. He looks at it for a moment before handing it to Cameron)

Spencer: "Can you give it to Trina, please?"

Cameron: (confused) "Why not you?"

Spencer: "Because if she's around Rory or her parents and they know it's from me, it'll put her on the spot." (shakes his head) "I don't want that. But if you give it to her and if she's with anyone, they won't suspect as much. She'll read it when she's ready…or not at all."

Cameron: "I'll give it to her. No problem."

Spencer: (nods) "Thank you."

(Cameron takes the envelope. Spencer gets up and walks out of 'The Savoy' Cameron goes to Josslyn, who wonders what happened between him and Spencer)

Cameron: "He asked me to give a letter to Trina. He would himself, but there's too many people here."

(Trina and Rory are done dancing for now and she can't help but notice that Spencer isn't in the building anymore. She politely excuses herself from Rory and goes to Cameron)

Trina: "Hey. Have you seen Spencer? I told him that he's welcome to stay if he wanted."

Cameron: "He left. He couldn't take anymore of watching you and Rory together."

(Trina looked confused! What does Rory have to do with this? Cameron could tell Trina needed to be shown the envelope in private)

Cameron: (to Josslyn) "Cover for Trina and I, please."

Josslyn: (nods) "You got it."

(Cameron leads Trina to the very front entrance, before the 2 sets of stairs so it's not so noisy and they have more privacy)

(Trina has her hands to her sides)

Trina: "Okay, what's going on?"

Cameron: "This."

(Cameron gives Trina the envelope that has her name on it. She looks at it questionably)

Trina: "Who's it from?"

Cameron: "Someone wanted you to have this. Read it when you're alone."

(Before Cameron walks away, he faces his friend)

Cameron: "If I were you, I'd put that in your purse until you're ready to read it. It's not meant for anyone else but you."

(Trina nods as she continues to look at the envelope. She had a feeling she knew whose handwriting it was. She sighs deeply and puts it in her purse)
