Hello everyone, after reading a review, it helped me solve a little problem I have. You see, I wanted to do two stories that take place during the time gap between 3 and 4, and I couldn't figure out what to do with the gang in Katolis. Then I read that review about a Christmas idea in a review and here we are.

Now this was a last minute thing so I can't promise anything great. And this will all be posted in one go, so all chapters should be out. Also I'm using the Muppet Christmas Carol as a base for this story just to let you know.

Before we start the rules.

I have a writing disability, and descriptions and battles aren't my best so sorry if you get confused.

There will be no Pokedex entries in this story, and to save time, because I started writing this 14 days before Christmas started, I won't describe Pokemon either.

For the record, while I use Muppet Christmas Carol as the base, everyone will be a Pokemon, from the humans to the Muppets. Even our Dragon Prince characters will become Pokemon. I did this to help make it easier for me to write it in a short time.

I don't own Pokemon, The Dragon Prince, or Muppet Christmas Carol, this is for fun, and something I thought it would be fun to write.

Now that's out of the way, let's get the story started and let's see how it turns out. Chapter 1.

Chapter 1

A Phantom's Book

A Twisted Realm

In a Twisted Realm, there was a cloaked figure, with two sleeves in the cloaked but only the left sleeve had an arm in it.

And a large rodent like creature, with a black back tan front, standing on two legs, a clam face, and a collar of black fur and out of that collar wisp like flames came out of it, with the flames beginning as red color, but ended in a dark purple color.

Both of them were watching a sad Callum throw a portal. It has been 2 weeks since Rayla left him, and he's done nothing but been in the Royal Mage Office, alone, curtains closed, with a single candle as light, going over all the books Viren left, without hardly a break for sleep, eat, or any other kind of care.

"He's not doing so well." The rat said to the cloaked figure. "Yes, well a broken heart from true love isn't something that can be healed any time soon, Aguya. I hope you didn't drag me from my game just for this." The cloaked figure said to the rat.

"But if he doesn't get better soon, the risk of Aaravos controlling him grows." Aguya said to the cloaked figure. "It's been two weeks. Give him more time. And Aaravos has been dealt with, for now. So he's not as big of a problem as you think." The cloaked figure said to Aguya.

"Sir, the task you gave me a long time ago was to heal the broken. To save those, who can still be saved. I can't turn my back on him. Especially when he has an important role in his world. And with Aaravos always hiding in the shadows, offering his lies to anyone who listens. We can't wait for him to get better." Aguya said to the cloaked figure.

"And what do you want to do?" The cloaked figure asked Aguya. "I want one of your lesson books." Aguya said to the cloaked figure. "Are you mad?! You know those books are very risky, if he fails. He'll be trapped forever in the book." The cloaked figure said to Aguya. "I know he can learn the lesson." Aguya said to the cloaked figure.

The cloaked figure stared at Aguya and Callum for a minute, before sighing. "Very well." The cloaked figure said to Aguya, before snapping his figures making a bookshelf appear. "Pick one." The cloaked figure said to Aguya. Aguya said nothing and looked at the books. Aguya then pulled out a black hard cover book with the image of an old man in his pajamas standing in front of a Christmas tree, with three spirits floating above him.

"Ah your favorite Book, the Christmas Carol." The cloak figure said to Aguya. "What can I say? I love this story. And I think Scrooge is just the character Callum needs to meet." Aguya said to the cloak figure.

"Very well, but let's add a twist to this classic tale." The cloak figure said, as he pulled out a Pokedex, and crushed it with his hand, making it turn into particles. Then the cloak figure made the particles go into the book, making the book shine many different colors for a few seconds before turning back to normal.

"And for fun." The cloak figure said, as he pulled out a record, and smashed that into particles in the shape of music notes. Then the cloak figure made the particles go into the book, making the book play music for a couple seconds before going quiet. "There it's ready." The cloak figure said, as he pulled out some brown paper and a pen.

The Castle In Katolis

Meanwhile back In the Castle, Ezran, Drake, and Soren walked into the Royal Mage Office, without their Pokemon, and Drake without his staff. And once they walked into the room, they saw the depressed Callum reading a book, not showing any sign of noticing everyone.

"Callum? It's time for lunch. We're all waiting for you." Soren said to Callum. "I'll eat it later." Callum said to Soren, still looking at the book. "You keep saying that. But you almost never eat." Soren said to Callum.

"Callum, we're worried about you. Please come out and join us." Ezran said to Callum. "I'm fine, Ezran. I'll join you in a minute." Callum said to Ezran. "Really, you're fine." Drake said to Callum, opening the curtains, shining light into the room.

This caused Callum's eyes to slam shut and scream a little. Callum then leaned back in his chair and fell onto the ground. "Callum I know you're hurting from Rayla leaving, but you can't hide in here forever. You have to get out there and see there's still things worth doing. Or at the very least try and take care of yourself." Drake said to Callum.

"What's the point, it's not like it'll change anything." Callum said to Drake, as he got up, making everyone look at him with worried looks on their faces. "Callum, things may be bad right now. But unless you change your outlook on things, then nothing will get better." Drake said to Callum.

"Like me, changing my outlook on things will change anything." Callum said to Drake, as he took a set. But that's when they heard a knock on the door, and turned to see Abigail with something wrapped in brown paper in her hand.

"Hey Abigail, what is it?" Drake asked Abigail. "This came from Callum. No idea who it's from." Abigail said to everyone, as she put the package on the table. Everyone moved to Callum, as Calllum opened the package.

When Callum was done opening the package, they found themselves looking at a black hard cover book with the image of an old man in his pajamas standing in front of a Christmas tree, with three spirits floating above him.

"What's this?" Drake asked everyone. "It's a book." Soren said to Drake, earning a flat look from Drake. "I know that. I mean what kind of book is that?" Drake asked everyone. "Let's find out." Ezran said to everyone. "Open it Callum, let's see what's in it." Ezran said to Callum.

Callum then started to open the book and found the first few pages to be black. "What the?" Callum asked, as he started to flip through more pages. "It's a blank book." Callum said to everyone, as he flipped through the pages faster.

"Uh Callum, maybe you should slow down. We don't know anything about this book." Drake said to Callum, before Callum found a page with writing on it. "What's this? "For the one who read this. Until you learn your lesson you can never leave". What does that mean?" Callum said, reading the page out loud.

That's when the words started to glow purple. Then the purple started to spread to the other pages, and the pages started to move side to side at high speed, surprising everyone. That's when black hands shot out of the book, grabbing everyone by the mouth, making them unable to scream.

Then everyone glowed different colors, with Drake glowing black, Abigail glowing blue, Ezran glowing yellow, Callum glowing light blue, and Soren glowing silver, before getting turned into balls of those colors and getting sucked into the book. Then the book closed and glowed purple before getting sucked into self.

A Twisted Realm

In a Twisted Realm, the cloak figure and Aguya watched all of this. "It looks like Callum read the page. Perfect." Aguya said to the cloak figure. "Yes. Now let's enjoy our Black Dragon's Christmas Carol." The cloak figure said to Aguya, before snapping his fingers.

This made a couch appear, and they both sat down. Then the cloak figure snapped his finger, closing the portal and opening another portal like it was a screen.
