A/N: So, slight detour. Figured I should do a Christmas story before the 'Encanto' chapter. Sorry about that as I was swamped with finals and studying aboard. Not to mention family is here for the holiday season.
May need another month as my birthday month is next!
"It's almost time for Christmas!" Seth cheered. He turned into a sparrow and flew around Avengers Campus with a festive mood.
He let out chirps as he was joined Monica, Sam, Ironheart, and several other flight capable students.
At the lobby, Sersi used her transmutation gift to make a soil patch, nourished enough for a tree. Once that was settled, both Hulk and She-Hulk planted a large conifer tree, courtesy of a plant manipulating mutant. Once the tree was firmly planted, heroes went to work.
Reptil used his pterodactyl wings to gain height and placed a few ornaments on the higher branches, followed by several other fliers. Cassie grew to her giant size and helped while being careful with her strength for any ornaments. Miles swung around and placed ornaments himself.
Other heroes with their own beliefs and cultures like Shuri with some Wankandan-themed ornaments and Shang Chi with his Asian cultured ones. Some Asgardian students even placed their religion-themed ornaments of their own.
Once the ornaments were hung, Kate fired arrows that cabled around in the form of Christmas tree nights.
Elsewhere, Moon Knight placed some Jewish items on a table, and was gathered by other Jewish characters to celebrate Hanukkah.
"Now all we are missing is some snow." Seth joked.
"I got that covered," Iceman said and created a flurry of snow over campus. Nico added to the feel with raining snowflakes too.
"Ah, this is great." Seth admitted, taking in the change of weather. He morphed into an Emperor penguin and slid across the snow. Soon, more of the younger heroes joined, performing other snow based activities.
A loud humming sound was heard and the students of Avengers Campus looked up to see a spaceship. Most would be cautious with the appearance but luckily, all the campus students recognized it. The ship descended and a ram was let out as the hangar doors opened to reveal three aliens, two humanoid ones and one small brown creature.
Seth reverted from his penguin form and waved them over. "Adam! Phyla!"
"Hi, Seth!" Phyla, a Star Child from the High Evolutionary's experiment and one of newest GOTG, said and ran over to the shapeshifter giving him a hug.
Adam Warlock, the Sovereign's crown project, walked over and greeted Seth as well, "Seth, it is great to see you once more." He did a fist bump with the shapeshifter, an expression he learned from his time at the campus. The first time he tried it, he used his energy blast that propelled an unlucky student.
"What brings you around this time?" Seth questioned as he began to scratch Blurp, Adam's pet, behind the ears. The F'saki purred at his favorite spot to be scratched.
"Commander Rocket mentioned it was a certain time of year for Earth and we were interested in the concept." Adam replied. "Something called Christmas.
"Oh, got it." Seth said, realizing where this might be going.
"So, what is this Christmas holiday?" Phylla asked as she walked with Adam and Seth. Blurp ran off and began to socialize with Lucky, Kate's dog.
"Yes, the High Evolutionary didn't have much care for learning holidays. Rather the perfection of his experiments." Adam added.
"Have you not had Christmas on Knowhere?" Seth questioned.
"Rocket suggested that it would be better to learn about the holiday from the planet of its origin." Phylla informed.
"Fair enough." Seth shrugged. "And what better way to explain than in song?"

Seth led the two newest members of the GOTG to some activities for the winter. They started with strolling through Main Street to find some. The Christmas season has created festive decorations all over the street and buildings as the newest Guardians looked around, taking in the holiday spirit for the first time.

They start with gingerbread house making. Adam and Phyla tried their hand at it and made semi-decent designs given it was their first time. Seth tried himself, doing somewhat better. Afterwards, they were able to eat it, not before taking pictures of their craftsmanship.

In the snowy area of Main Street, Seth, as a polar bear, rolls the base of a snowman. Adam then places the body and head just as Phyla applied the accessories. They took a step back to see their lop-sided snowman. Seth gave an A for effort, knowing that this was their first time playing in the snow. Along with the shapeshifter, he didn't have much experience with snow where he came from.

Seth, Adam, and Phyla watch the new episodes of 'What If' followed by a few classic Christmas movies like 'Home Alone,' 'Elf,' and 'The Santa Clause.' Adam begins to question the durability of Harry and Marv for surviving the defenses of Kevin McCallister before Seth says not to thinking about it too much.

All over the Magical World, characters were enjoying themselves with friends and family for the festive season. The Madrigal family opens Casita's doors to the entire Encanto as they celebrate the festive season with all.

Miles and Gwen gave an early gift to Mayday Parker, a small stuffed Spider Man toy that she enjoyed and cuddled with instantly. Both Spider-Man and Mary Jane smile at their daughter's reaction to the plushie.

At Cinderella's Castle, Jonah AKA Eric of the live-action 'Little Mermaid' teaches Halle about the season with the other Disney Princesses and Princes. The dark-skinned mermaid is in awe of this tradition as she enjoys kelp cakes from her animated counterpart.

Jake Sulley and Neteryi spend the holidays with the Sea People, enjoying their own tradition while their kids and their friends enjoy the sea with Payakan. The Tulkun swam with his spirit brother with joy.

The Phase 4 and 5 heroes mixed and mingle back at Avengers campus. Hulk was creating beverages for some of the adult heroes like She-Hulk who drank eggnog to her content in her gamma form, nullifying the effects of alcohol and Howard the Duck -who had came down to visit- was drinking to his content much like She-Hulk, only with the effects.

Panning back to the trio, Seth, Adam, and Phylla are at a concert featuring Dazzler on stage. She creates a spectacle of Christmas themed constructs from her light-sound manipulation. Adam and Phylla look in awe at the sight.

After using her abilities, Dazzler lifts up her hands and creates a shower of light fireworks followed by an outline of Mickey Mouse, saying Happy Holidays. She is given an applause as the audience is mesmerized by her talent. Adam and Phylla giving the loudest as they enjoyed their winter activities and sights tonight, finding a new appreciation for the Earth holiday.

"So how is that for your first Christmas experience?" Seth quizzed the two aliens.
"It was magnificent!" Adam exclaimed, prompting Seth to chuckle at the Sovereign's enthusiasm.
"Very amazing!" Phyla added with her usual child-like nature.
"Then why don't we head back to Avengers Campus for the holiday party?" Seth offered and the two aliens eagerly nodded. As a snowy owl, Seth took flight with Adam holding Phyla, heading back to the campus.
Up above, the red sleigh being flown by reindeers with Scott Calvin's Santa Claus from the 'Santa Clause' franchise let out his infamous, "Ho ho ho!" and waved to those below in the night along with the Santa Paws puppies, Wayne and Lanny from 'Prep and Landing'.

Little trivia, my family comes down for the holidays and last year, we got two Disney games: 5 Seconds and a trivia one. We often have events planned for each day they are down in my state and its always great to see them.
