Interlude

A sigil appeared in front of a massive castle, the guards in front of the gate prepared their weapons for combat instantly on alert considering no one should be able to get here, especially to this place considering this was where the four satans were currently it'd be practically suicidal by anyone looking to approach especially hades' army considering they'd been pushing him back since they'd fallen from heaven and managed to secure a small place even if only for the moment.

Stepping through the portal were two people, One person the guards immediately recognized was Lucifer himself, and even before they'd seen him they'd felt his power first hand and it was still terrifying to behold. The other person stepping through behind their leader was someone they didn't know at all and that instantly put them back on guard before they heard the command to put the weapons away and back to their positions, following the orders the guards did as told.

"Don't worry brother, they aren't going to attack especially while I'm here especially since they should've been warned about my arrival especially since I told the other satans that I felt you summoning me and that I'd be right back with you through the entrance and that they were to meet us here" he said with a disarming smile on his face while looking at the guards with a certain type of shine in his eye that promised there would be trouble later.

Stepping out of the portal Naruto took a moment to look around and observe the underworld for the first time, Not seeing anything spectacular he stood next to his brother and looked at the guards in front of the gate. At the same time they open and three other figures can be seen approaching the pair.

The first person to be seen standing in between the two other figures is a well-endowed female and gracefully refined woman, befitting her nature as one of the leaders of the devil faction. She wears light purple/blue armor with the symbol of a sea serpent while carrying what appears to be a trident, her purple hair tied up in a ponytail.

The second figure on the right of Leviathan is a refined young man with long brown hair, black eyes, and a set of small horns on his head befitting his nature as another one of the leaders of the devil faction. In addition, he's wearing a suit of heavy armor colored brown/green and carrying a spear in his left hand and a shield in his right.

The final figure on the left of Leviathan is a refined older man with short black hair, violet eyes with black sclera, and slit pupils giving him an intimidating appearance as well as bearing a look of indifference on his face at the situation. He's wearing a suit of medium armor with a color scheme of red/black while carrying a greatsword on his back.

"Lord Lucifer, is this the one you've been waiting on for these last few years, Is this your little brother?' Leviathan asked looking at Naruto with a small blush on her face not expecting him to be so handsome and the whisker marks on his face making him look like some type of fox. Despite his rather innocent-looking appearance she could sense his power and realized that it was nothing to scoff at.

Walking past the three figures standing in front of the gate with Naruto following he tells them without looking back and with a wave of his hand.

"Yes this is Naruto and he's agreed to be turned into a devil just like us so that he can get his vengeance and strike at our father for his unfair treatment as well as kick him out of heaven, I'm glad you all met us here since we'll be heading to the chamber to begin the process with haste since we've been waiting quite a bit to start our war," he said while leading naruto to the chamber."

Transformation Chamber

Walking into the chamber, Lucifer directs Naruto to the center of the formation that has been drawn on the floor, while explaining to him what the process will entail the changes that he'll experience, and that the change will be painful and feel like a thousand blades are piercing him. Before he can even begin explaining the process more upon Naruto's request they're interrupted by the chamber door opening. A beautiful woman enters the room with a serious look on her face and a swollen stomach.

"You were gonna do the process that turned leviathan and the other into devils without consulting me again, weren't you? Don't even bother trying to deny it I set up an alert spell that way I would know if anyone else would attempt to enter this chamber again. I'm heavily pregnant all the time with your offspring and you couldn't even have the decency to at least tell me this was going on, considering you need a piece of my flesh to help with the process. Were you just going to take it without asking me?" she said with an agitated look on her face.

Stopping for a moment to contemplate his answer he turns to her with an arrogant smirk on his face, "Why of course my dear Lilith after all we are married and as your loving husband it's only right that whatever you own or have is mine that means I can do anything I want" he says before pulling his hand back and smacks her across the face, leaving a red mark on it.

"The next time you feel the need to comment on something that has nothing to do with you, be a good little girl and remember your place. Just because you're the mother of the new devil race I will not have you forget yourself" he states with finality before turning back to Naruto " Now where were we".

"As I was explaining before we were so rudely interrupted, you'll stand in the center of this spell circle and I'll channel my devil magic as well as the blood of Lilith into the circle, which will then combine the two elements before they flow to the center array where your located and will turn you into the same type of devil the other satans and my self are it will especially get rid of that pesky seal father put on you to cut your connection to your angelic powers but you should know that you'll either lose them or they may mutate," Lucifer said while looking at his brother who was walking to the center of the spell circle.

After making it to the center of the spell and listening to his older brother as he explains the process, he takes a moment at the part of his angelic powers still being with him and figures that maybe his father still did love him after all but decides to still go through with it considering there's no going back and this is a journey he wants to see through to the end.

"Let's get this over with Luci, times a wasting and I remember you saying there's a war on the horizon and I'd rather get this done quickly before it starts and the process is interrupted," he said while looking at his brother.

Lucifer took a moment to take a look at him and confirm his choice considering that there was no going back from this process once it's begun, Seeing the nod of confirmation he poured the jar of Lilith's blood onto the array before cutting his hand and placing it on the same array as Lilith's blood and begins to channel his magic into it, the array begins to glow with a bright light before a spark of red lightning appears and all the arrays in the circle light up with there own sparks of red electricity which then converge on naruto's position.

Seeing the electricity coming towards him, he braced himself for impact only for the four corners labeled North, South, East, and West to be impacted by and begin to glow a calming red before a coffin of energy appeared and trapped him in it, hearing his brother yelling and telling him not to panic and that this is part of the process and it'll be over before he knows it, deciding to accept it he calms down only to then feeling an intense amount of pain in within his very being unaware of the power output being displayed outside his coffin that. The pain becomes too much to bear, and he passes out not realizing this would be the last time he'd ever see his brother again. 'Be well my son, and remember I will love you no matter what

Outside the coffin, Lucifer begins to panic as his entire mansion begins to shake as the power being released is on such a scale that he'd only experienced once and that was when god paid a visit to both Great Red and Ophis realizing his brother was something unique as well as the procedure can't be stopped he awaits for the results only to hear the pained screaming within the coffin and can only hope for the best and that his little brother will pass out before the pain becomes unbearable. The other three Satans alongside Lilith come rushing into the room from the feeling of power expecting an explanation only for him to silence them with a look that says he'll explain it all after the procedure.

Hours go by and the process stops but the coffin hasn't opened and Lucifer can't feel any of his brother's power or even his presence, Realizing that his brother may be dead he nudges his head towards the door at his fellow Satans who now realize what has happened, follows him out of the room while Lilith stays for a while longer looking at the coffin in suspicion before she thinks 'I don't know what happened but I know you aren't dead in there, whatever has happened will only make you stronger from this moment on' before she follows the others out of the room and activating a seal which wouldn't be removed on the door for quite a while and time would move ever onward.

Heaven at the same time as the Ritual

"Michael, has there been a sight of Nathaniel since he left the village you helped set him up in?" God asked his son with a knowing look on his face.

"No Father I haven't seen him and believe me I've looked everywhere the last thing I saw was him meeting Lucifer and discussing something about a promise before he walked through a portal which I can only speculate leads to the underworld and as you know we don't have eyes down there," he replied with a sad look upon his face believing he had failed.

"Don't worry my son, you didn't fail if anything I'm proud that you went out of your way to help your brother even though I forbid it. Now we've only got to worry about what your troublesome brother is doing to my youngest" he stops talking as all those in heaven begin to feel the release of massive pressure before it simply vanishes. God realizing what has happened has a minor look of panic.

'Be well my son, and remember I will love you no matter what and I hope you utilize this newfound power to protect and maybe even take my place for my time here is almost done.' he thinks sending out a mental message hoping it will reach his son in the underworld before the war begins.

Back in the Underworld

Lucifer Meeting Room

"What the hell happened in that room lord lucifer be mindful of the fact that heaven probably felt that release of power along with anything else in the world connected to the supernatural" Bezzlebub says with a look of panic and annoyance at a power that was far greater than him.

Seeing the other Satans shaking their heads in agreement to the lords' question, they know that the answer that's given will have to be told to the other devil families serving them when they come for answers.

"What you all felt is no doubt the power my brother released while going through the transformation, the problem is I don't know much about his creation considering father kept tight-lipped about it, so much so that even Michael and Gabriel have no idea how he came to be all we were told that he'd be the last angel created by himself and that he has a special place that is the angel of death and no I don't mean one of the beings of death like in the other pantheons, I mean father made him when he was at the highest of his power and made it so Nathaniel is the one true being of death all others under the title of being a bringer of death would pale in comparison to my brother. There was something else that I felt my father was keeping but chose to ignore it seeing as he wouldn't tell us even if asked."

"Now that you've been informed of what I know, we have two things to go over. One don't ever presume to be able to give me an order again or I'll kill you where you stand and give your position to someone else and two we'll begin the plans for war since our forces are almost filled with the number needed even if my brother will not be able to participate the loss of his youngest child should impact my father severely so if there are no more questions let the planning begin."

Within Naruto's Memories

A/N: From this moment on, everything is going to be a memory beginning from how God had gotten a hold of a piece of Naruto Uzumaki's soul as well as how Naruto was created and what the power outburst was that everyone felt. This is where you'll understand how Naruto becomes who he is, how he gets his powers, and his origin he will also not be participating in the great war but his disappearance will affect certain people within heaven heavily such as the likes of Gabriel, Michael, and God himself. The entirety of what will be written will be typed in bold so that it can be distinguished from what has been written and to help readers keep track that this section is only a flashback/memory.

Outside Creation(The area GOD was in before creating the universe)

'You'll be my finest creation yet, the last of my children before I get to my main project. For what is to come in the future you'll be either the light to guide others to a better time or a monster of destruction that will bring about all of the creation ending but I believe that you'll find a proper path to follow, one with which you'll be proud and live for yourself, now to just steal a fragment of your predecessor's soul from the other dimension as the catalyst for you my son and everything will be ready for you to awaken hopefully' were the thoughts of a man who looked to be in his elderly years with hair as white as wool or as white as snow, and his eyes were a flame of fire. Currently, he looks down at the body of a young man with blonde hair, whisker marks on his cheeks, sharper-than-average canines, and a white tunic to cover his modesty.

Hearing the flap of wings coming toward him, the man turns in their direction and feigns a smile of happiness even though he knows the visitor is only coming here to either give him grief or try and disprove his work, his eldest child whom he should've been more strict with. The figure lands and is shown to be an adult man with silver hair and an arrogant smirk on his face as well as a look of contempt for the man in front of him.

"Hello Father, I see you're still mucking around with this final project instead of governing over the humans that you created, how very droll of you so tell me then why did you decide to create one final child I thought you were finished with producing angels and turned your attention towards humanity?" he said with a smirk on his face.

Taking a moment to think about how he should respond to his eldest, his eyes develop a faint twinkle as if he just figured out a solution to the current and future problems but first to deal with his brat of a son.

"His name is Nathaniel and you'd do well to remember that as for why I created him well he's to be a placeholder for me in case something should happen to me as a way to make sure that there is always someone on standby to help take over the system. But also to be a rival towards both Great Red and Ophis should the time come as well, one more thing that you shouldn't concern yourself with since it's none of your business but just know he's a precaution in the most unlikely events, just tell me why your here lucifer as you well know, no one is allowed to be here but me." the older man said with a look of absolute seriousness.

"I came to ask if you've given any more thought to what I'd suggested and would be willing to allow me to run things in your stead considering after creating them you don't seem to want to do anything with them and I feel they'd be in better hands with especially since I've been feeling that I can do better with them compared to your way of running things" Lucifer said with an arrogant smirk on his face looking his father straight in his eyes.

Feeling indifferent about what his son was asking him, God turned back to the corpse lying down on his table and responded with a voice that held the tone of both caring and indifference.

"We've been over this before Luci and I will tell you again that you'll never get to sit on the throne nor will you ever get to run things the way you want, I forbid it and deny it. Do not broach this subject with me again or there will be consequences this time around am I clear?" he asked his son with a stern expression.

Lucifer seeing that his father wouldn't tolerate his presence here anymore and that he wouldn't be heard on the subject of ruling, he turns to leave but not before deciding to get the final word in argument-wise.

"You may think this is over old man, but mark my words sooner or later you'll either step down from the throne or be destroyed as a new path is made for a new king," he said before the flapping of wings is heard going into the distance.

God looking at the fading figure of his son, can only sigh in sadness at what he's becoming and what he's planning for even he can see that his son will lead a future rebellion against him, but he will not yield to his first creation, he can't help but truly wonder where he went wrong with his wayward son.

Timeskip(After Lucifer's first Rebellion in Heaven)

It happened exactly like God knew it would, Lucifer's revolt wasn't as long as he'd foreseen but it no less was exhausting especially when his son had walked into the forge looking to take some of his work for his new faction that would be created from the failed rebellion luckily the only thing there was Nathaniel and he'd have been of no use to lucifer at the time given god hadn't woken him up yet and was still slumbering.

Realizing that his visions of the future have some merits to them and that his eventual death is going to come has made his decision to awaken his youngest son much earlier than planned, looking at the miniature portal he'd opened through the dimensional gap into an opposite world that is run by the Shinto pantheon.

On the opposite side of the portal, sleeping on a tatami mat is a young man with blonde spikey hair snoring away without a care in the world. Placing his hand against the back of the young it begins to glow as God retracts his hand and pulls out a small portion of a white-looking object from the individual, seeing that he'd acquired the missing piece he pulls his hand back and closes the portal missing the individual turning around to look at the closing with red slitted eye.

"Now that I've managed to acquire a piece of his soul, my child shall be complete and will finally be able to be awakened, hopefully, I'll get him up to speed on his powers and duties before long since I need to begin working on the sacred gears with haste," God said with an excited look on his face as he began to put the soul piece into the corpse of Nathaniel.

After depositing the soul piece and waiting an amount of time for any sign of life within his project and seeing nothing within the body, sighing with disappointment at the lack of movement he begins to turn around and focus on another one of his projects in the hopes that maybe he needs to wait a little bit longer for the soul to adjust within its new body.

While god was facing his workbench, he didn't notice the twitch of fingers on the body before it sat up and looked around the room with a look of confusion on his face wondering where exactly he was considering the last thing he remembered was going to sleep after being attacked in the middle of night on the street but mysterious floating men.

"About time you woke up, I was afraid this moment would never happen and I'd almost caused an incident over nothing with another faction by bringing a piece of you from a different dimension."

Turning around to face his newest child with a bright smile on his face, God approaches him and places both his hands on Naruto's shoulders before thoroughly examining each feature for anything that might be out of place.

"You've probably got a lot of questions young one, and I'll answer all of them but let me first cover the basics and explain a few things then any more questions you have I'll be more than happy to answer. You're a version of Naruto I decided to make after seeing the original in his dimension, the reason I picked you is that I admire your drive to see the good in people and always try to offer them redemption even when in their darkness and for that I was amazed but as if that wasn't enough you've managed to conquer your darkness using simple words which is no easy feat in itself. You helped establish a type of peace amongst your dimension or at least the original you did but I digress, the reason you are here specifically is that I wanted to have a final child of mine and you fit the criteria for a replacement if I should die.

"Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Yahweh but most people in this dimension know me as God and I lead a religion called Catholicism as well as its variation of Christianity, the last and final creation of the race I have created an angel but more specifically I've made you my Angel of Death but that is not all you are the angel of you all carry with you destruction incarnate as it was a source I'd discovered while creating you and sought to harness this power as a way to contain it, please know you are your own person and that's how I wanted you to develop into instead of becoming a carbon copy of your original soul owner which is why I just took a small piece of his soul so that you're the template"

He said while looking at Naruto who just stood there processing what he'd been told, seeing that he still had Naruto's attention he continued with his explanation into his being.

"There is more to your creation but I feel as if enough has been placed on you already so we will continue with more tomorrow, I'll give you the chance to settle tonight and introduce you to the rest of your family tomorrow and take it from there."

Seeing that Naruto shook his head in understanding. Naruto returned to the bed he'd woken up in before he could close his eyes thought heard the man who could be called his father say goodnight before the flapping of wings could be heard.

Memory End

Outside the Coffin

Opening his eyes for what felt like the first time since he'd agreed to participate in the ritual, only to hear what sounded like a shovel banging against his coffin with a couple of voices being heard outside of it.

"Grayfia, are you certain that Rizveim had said that something important was sealed inside this coffin during the original Lucifer reign and that he believed it to be a weapon that was built to help the devil faction?" A male voice said in a tone of apprehension mixed with annoyance which Naruto would guess from the digging he needed to do.

"Yes Sirzechs, I remember specifically that the document had mentioned the object in this coffin was of substantial power that was on par if not higher than both the original Satans and even the lord himself but it never specifically mentioned exactly what the object was I have no idea but believe it will help with ending this civil war." a female voice was heard.

Inside the Coffin

Putting his hand on the ceiling of the coffin, he attempts to push open the lid only to realize that he can't, after trying a few more times he stops, takes a breath, and begins to meditate and focus on the energy surrounding his container, realizing that he's sealed he panics and starts trying to figure out how to leave does he realize that he could try channeling his energy and disrupting the seal.

Outside the Coffin(Again)

A purple seal appears on the coffin, much to the surprise of the people outside only for it to vanish and the lid to disintegrate revealing a blonde spiky-haired man with reddish/black eyes who looks at them with hints of confusion in his eyes before asking a simple question…. "Who are you"

A/N: This chapter took quite a while for me to finish mainly because I kept losing what I wanted to have happen in this chapter and decided to hold on to some more of Naruto's memories and show them through the next chapter as a way to expand that chapter since not much is known about the Devil Factions civil war, or the many locations in the underworld outside of Lucifaad(unless more is mentioned in the manga). Just know this chapter had gone through many rewrites before a buddy of mine told me to just write what came to me and move on which I did.

Now that this chapter is done, I'll be able to get my notes on this story back into focus. Happy Holidays to everyone and enjoy the time with your families.
