Robert threw on his robe to go get them some champagne and some sort of snack as Holly got up and got them towels. She wrapped hers around her before going inside.

Robert returned and swapped his robe for the towel. He walked in and saw Holly seated, with her eyes closed, leaning up against the wall. "This has got to be the most heavenly sight in the world." He took a seat next to her and poured them glasses of champagne. He had forgotten the snack, but truth be told, it was the last thing on his mind.

Holly opened her eyes and smiled sweetly at him as she took the champagne. "Thank you. This is so lovely, I love that we are making this a habit again." She grinned and gave him a kiss.

Robert kissed her back then looked into her eyes. "I love that we are a thing again."

Holly's eyes lit up. "Did we ever stop being a thing?" She sat her glass down and placed her hand on his heart.

Robert always felt a surge of energy when her hand was on his heart, it was incredible as was she. "Not in my heart, it's always been you. It will always be you." Robert kissed her softly, he loved her with all of his heart and soul. He didn't know how to stop and never wanted to find out frankly.

Holly made their kiss more passionate, the way Robert loved her had always amazed her. It gave her strength at times and really made her feel like she could do anything in the world. "Do you know how much I love you?" Holly asked him as she stroked his cheek.

Robert leaned in, a coy grin appearing on his face. "Enough to always stay on top of things?" He wiggled his brow.

Holly giggled, a little blush coming to her cheeks. "You think that was staying on top of things? You haven't seen anything yet!" She bit her bottom lip as she looked at him.

And just like that Robert was putty, how did Holly do this to him? He didn't know but he wouldn't change it at all.

Holly leaned in and kissed him deeply, undoing her towel.

Robert decided to poke fun at her. "Are we going to..." He got a good look at her and was speechless.

"Are we going to what?" She asked as she undid his towel, she loved the reaction she got out of him.

Robert lost his train of thought. "It wasn't important. Let's move to the shower, tomorrow's a big day."

Holly could think of some good come backs but decided to try to behave. "You have a point."

The two of them went into the shower, tomorrow was Christmas and they wanted to make sure they were up to open presents with their family.

The two made love in the shower before getting cleaned up, taking turns washing each other off.

"You know I wish more than anything it wasn't an early morning tomorrow." Robert kissed her neck as Holly fixed her nightgown.

"Me too darling but tomorrow night is all ours. We have the rest of our lives." She kissed him again.

The two of them got comfortable in bed, holding each other as they fell asleep.
