Hey, hey!

So, I guess you can say this story has a modern twist. Boruto is a bit modern too. This is the transitioning era where technology is becoming 'the next big thing' in this story.

This chapter is the reunion of Team Seven. Hope you enjoy it!

Naruto heard a knock on his office door and smiled because he already knew who it was. "Hinata!"

Said person opened the office door and smiled at Naruto as she held his lunch. "Good morning Uzumaki-sama. Kage of Amegakure." Naruto grinned at Hinata and gave her a pointed look as she giggled at her own teasing.

"Ha-ha. Very funny. I'm 'Acting' Kage, Hinata. Just until I can find someone to take the position that's worthy of it."

He took the lunch she made him and smiled as he placed it on his oak wood office desk. Hinata helped him renovate the building. Designating where each departments will be in the building or around the village. The furniture that went into the buildings and the designs of everything.

She really played as his rock through all of this.

The good thing about rebuilding a village. It was stressful for the people in charge, but it was great for the village and the surrounding areas around that village. Businesses were getting money, people were getting jobs. Life was prospering. Land was being taken care of. Rebuilt better than ever.

The technology idea Hinata gave really brought a lot of businesses. Communication towers were being built and information technology experts came to move in the new buildings and brought their customers with them from all over. The good thing about IT and communications. Their customers can stay abroad. They don't have to be in the village. People could work from home on their own communication devices.

So, many people wanted to work here. Bring their technology ideas here. This was becoming the technology capital of the world. Which meant it was becoming the money market of the world.

Working abroad was beneficial too. It was nice because the citizens that have been staying here during the tough times didn't feel as if their village was being over populated by young tech gurus.

As the income in the village increased, it was easier to delegate the finances to certain parts of the village. Like schools, hospitals and first responders. Naruto's main goal was schools and hospitals. Building ninja academies as well, since that will fill in most of the first responders.

Hinata wanted to point out that Naruto was being modest. The village was starting to blossom and when Naruto offered to be 'acting' Kage, the officials jumped on the opportunity. They needed him and whatever he asked for they would have gladly given it to him and more.

All Naruto wanted was to fulfill his promise. That he would make this place better.

Plus a ramen stand. A really good ramen stand.

Naruto sat in his large chair. It was a power recliner, dark cherry leather chair. It could heat up and had several massaging capabilities. Naruto told the designer that he wanted the furniture to be comfortable, he didn't care about looks. He cared about comfort and durability. He wanted it to last too. He didn't want furniture that he'd have to change out every two years unless it was needed.

His chair, he knew he'd be in it long hours. The Kage position was taxing sometimes and required long nights occasionally. So he wanted the Kage's office to have the most relaxing furniture. So, if Hinata wanted to spend long nights with him. She'd be comfortable to do so.

Hinata sat in the guest chair, that Naruto pulled to sit next to him. As they ate lunch, he pulled her leg up to rest in his lap. Hinata smiled bashfully at him and his affection. She still always shy away from his affection. It was just her personality that Naruto loved to comfort daily.

Each day she just grew more and more comfortable with him, and most importantly, with herself again.

That morning after the concert. When Hinata woke up, she had a slight headache. It was adorable how she was chugging water as soon as she woke up and had the lights dimmed almost all day. Naruto did learn that Hinata and Sasuke, because they were dōjutsu users, their eyes became sensitive easily. If they over used them. Trained too hard. Many things triggered their powerful eyes to scream for a dim lit house.

As Hinata spent the day recovering. Naruto had a talk about the night before and what she said to him. Particularly wanting to stay in Amegakure and children. She was embarrassed she admitted such things. She remembered saying it, but hoped they could just ignore it.

However Naruto pushed for talking about it and told her that he was willing to try it out here. Not solely because of her wanting to stay here, but because he also liked it here and wanted to try.

It took some convincing for Hinata to believe Naruto wasn't doing this for her, but for them. However she agreed with him putting in for the 'acting' Kage position. She's been supporting all of his ambitions on this journey and Naruto has been supporting Hinata's ambitions to step away from being a ninja.

She had many other talents. Her artwork was really kicking off. She's been tackling the business and finances of the village. Building a treasury department. Helping kick start the hospital and hiring process for workers under Amegakure along with building a solid relation with the tech businesses that has settled in the village.

Naruto would say Hinata was too busy to be a ninja if he was being honest.

She still kept up with her training, just because it was routine. In her blood to be a ninja, but Hinata just felt happier being away from the ninja life right now. The missions. The altercations. The past memories. Naruto always knew Hinata didn't like it to begin with. It was forced on her.

That being said, Hinata did back track on having children. Once she sobered up, she was adamant that she didn't want children. Hinata didn't think she was parent material, especially right now. Everything that has happened in her life. Hinata felt like she would be in a stage of healing way beyond her maternal years. Hinata was nervous to tell him, but she told Naruto she did not want children. Right now.

Something that Naruto accepted, they were both healing on this journey. Living one day at a time.

"I'm glad the Hokage will be able to be here for your birthday tomorrow Naruto-kun. I cannot believe he'll be arriving any minute." Naruto smiled at her excitement. "Yeah, it's pretty cool. I'm excited and nervous, but we'll see how he takes everything. He knows I'm acting Kage here. We see each other in virtual meetings. He just doesn't know about my future plans."

Hinata stood up and took a napkin to wipe the corner of Naruto's mouth. Cleaning off the little food that strayed away there. Naruto smiled at her. "You're always taking care of me." Hinata smiled at him and leaned over to kiss his forehead. "I just want to take your nerves away Naruto-kun."

Naruto looked at her with admiration. He stood up from his chair and looked down at Hinata. His eyes relaxed and jovial. Her eyes matching his. This was their joy.

Then there was a knock on the door. "Uzumaki-sama. Umm. Konoha's Hokage has arrived with some guests. Would you like for him to come in, or shall I give you and lady Hinata some privacy?"

Naruto looked at his assistant and smiled before he looked back at Hinata. "Of course they can come in. We're not doing anything embarrassing Rex." That was his assistant name, and Rex smirked in return at Naruto. "Unlike the other times, sir."

Naruto mock glared at Rex, but grinned in return. He was a little older than Naruto, but a pretty good guy. Very reliable.

Right now Naruto was wearing his jacket and clothing that Hinata had tailored for him months ago. Minus his Konoha protector that he use to wear on his forehead. His head was bare and his long blonde locks almost gave the image of his father, but his side bangs were a little shorter.

Naruto had his ears pierced now, and a nose piercing on his left nostril. He's been gone from Konoha for eleven months now and it's been a whirlwind.

Hinata was wearing her purple kimono that Naruto had tailored for her. Her hair was still cut a little above her shoulders and was sharp. She had opal earrings in her ear and a dazzling diamond choker necklace on that Naruto had bought her.

Hinata went to back away from Naruto and rearrange the chairs, but he held her left wrist to keep her in place and looked at her. Passion swirling in his eyes. "Don't you take steps back because people from Konoha come here Hinata. Don't push me away because we're not married yet. Married or not, you're mine and I'll still treat you like I pleasure you. Every. Single. Night."

He leaned in to her ear and whispered, "Just like a married couple. Okay Hinata? Don't feel as if you have to hide yourself from anyone. I won't let you." Hinata shivered in Naruto's hold and let out a shaky breath. "Okay. I promise."

Naruto pulled away from her and smiled. "Good."

"I hope we aren't disturbing anything. Especially this union. That I had no clue even happened. Thanks for the heads up Naruto."

Naruto casually looked over at Kakashi and gave him a relaxed smile. He gently lowered Hinata's hand and let go, sparing her a glance just so he could see her fight off a blush and straighten herself up. He looked to see Kakashi wasn't alone like Rex said. Along came Sasuke and Sakura.

Naruto looked curious at Sasuke and Sakura before he looked back at Kakashi, who waived off the concern. "Lady Tsunade is filling in while we venture here for your birthday. Don't worry. Well, actually it's nice to see you still worry about Konoha. Lord Uzumaki of Amegakure."

Naruto chuckled at this and scratched the back of his head. "Acting." Kakashi saw Naruto walk around his large desk to stand in front of him. "Acting? You've been 'acting' for four months now. The village hasn't found a replacement worthy of the title of Kage yet?"

Kakashi hugged Naruto and the two embraced one another for a moment before letting go. Naruto smiled and shrugged his shoulders. "It's on going. What can I say."

He then looked at Sasuke and Sakura with a smile. "Aww congratulations Mister and Misses Uchiha. I'm sorry we missed the wedding."

Sasuke eyed Naruto, but Sakura was the one to voice it. "Yeah. Considering we gave you a 2 months' notice, and you guys still couldn't make the wedding last month. That was a shocker. Caught me off guard."

Naruto tilted his head as he looked at Sakura, but still smiled at her. His eyebrow arched as his smile turned to a grin. He refused to let Sakura create an argument this early into reuniting again.

Typically, Naruto would fall for Sakura's bait. Now he didn't wanted to engage in bickering. Especially when his fiancé hates altercations like this. It made Hinata feel uncomfortable. "Yeah, Hinata made sure to send a really nice gift though. I'm really sorry about that, me and Hinata both got caught up here. It's been a lot going on."

Kakashi nodded his head. "I'll say. The reconstruction of this village is becoming hot news all nations over. I must say, a lot of these business moves scream Hyuga. Am I wrong Lady Hinata?"

Hinata was hoping she could be a fly on the wall and just fade as team seven went about their usual head butting pow wows. Hearing Kakashi speak to her snapped her back to the current conversation. "I have been giving some advice here and there Hokage-sama. Working on programs to have a functional village. Also working with my father back in Konoha to establish business ventures for the Hyuga clan to profit from as well as Amegakure."

Kakashi gave Hinata a look like he thought she was being modest. "Along with selling world famous paintings. Right? I was just recently gifted a beautiful painting from a foreign diplomat that said an artist from Amegakure is up and coming. That I had to have this art piece that cost them a fortune. Just for me to see the art was created and signed by Hinata Hyuga. You have been doing good out here Hinata."

Hinata bit the inside of her cheek and looked at Kakashi. "Yes Hokage-sama. I suppose you can say that. I appreciate you approving for me to take leave from Konoha."

Kakashi walked up to Hinata and smiled under his mask. "Hinata." She forced herself to keep eye connection with Kakashi and looked at him curiously. "Yes Hokage-sama?"

"You're glowing. I'm happy to see you looking a lot better. That's all that matters to me."

Hinata finally smiled at Kakashi and looked like she started to relax her shoulders in his presence now. "I am in a better place. Really, thank you."

Naruto smiled at the scene before he turned back to look at Sasuke and Sakura. "Well I didn't know Kakashi-sensei would be bringing you two. Do you want to treat this as a honeymoon?" He smirked when he said this. Just being funny, but clearly Sakura was still upset at Naruto closing them off for almost a year.

Hinata spoke, a little above a whisper to try and ease the tension in the room. "Please, I would love to take you all on a tour. You could see the new projects being built. New businesses forming, the hospital that just opened from remodeling. Oh and a very, very popular ramen establishment here."

Sakura gave Naruto a pointed look and rolled her eyes. Of course.

After the tour of the rising village, the group ended up at the popular ramen stand. It was BUSY. Apparently a lot of people liked the same food Naruto did. It made sense, it was the cold season here and people wanted comfort food. There was a strip of restaurants to pick from, it all looked so awing because everything was so new and everyone wanted to be out to try it. Rain or not.

Luckily, Hinata knew to reserve the top floor for them to eat. So they were upstairs of the restaurant, where other private booths and tables were and a fireplace to keep everyone warm. A large window to take in the scenery of the blossoming village.

Naruto sat beside Hinata in the booth, across from them Sasuke sat beside Sakura and Kakashi had a chair pulled up to the table in the middle. The server had just brought them all their orders and everyone was eating.

Naruto turned to Hinata and smiled warmly at her. "Thanks for arranging all of this Hinata." She smiled shyly at the attention. Naruto continued to look at her and moved some of her hair behind her ear, so it wouldn't get in her way while she ate.

Hinata's ears turned red as she suppressed a blush. Her eyes held love and admiration for him and that was enough for Naruto. For now. The two started to eat and Sakura smiled brightly at the scene. "Noooo. We are not going to act like that did not just happen! Hinata! Spill the details! I'm so happy for you."

Hinata was losing the battle to her blush. Her face was rosy colored and she forced herself to stay in this conversation.

It was HARD for Hinata. She had history with Konoha. Old habits had a tendency to always crawl back when she was reminded of home. Old memories. Dark thoughts, that she conquered, tried to resurface.

Under the table she felt Naruto's hand on her knee. He gave her a light squeeze. Encouraging her and showing his support. They could stay here in Amegakure, but Hinata wasn't going to run from her demons by staying here. He wanted her to face them. He wanted her to really find peace and not put herself in a bubble.

Hinata spared a glance at Sasuke before she looked back at Sakura. She remembered when she told Naruto how much she didn't like Sasuke. Hinata was so out of her comfort zone right now, she never felt like she fit in the way team seven functioned.

Gosh, she felt like she was going to have a classic 'Hinata panic attack'.

Still, for Naruto. She would try. "S-Sakura. I-I..I must apologize, for how I acted the last few years. How I left Konoha. I wasn't well. So, I must ask for your forgiveness."

Naruto cleared his throat as he ate, "Not really asking for your forgiveness. Just letting you know why she acted so different during those times." He looked at Hinata after he sipped his broth. "You don't need to beg for forgiveness, from anyone, for how you were feeling Hinata."

He went back to eating his food after he said that.

Sasuke looked at Naruto as he ate. When they finish eating he'll make a point to talk to Naruto alone.

Hinata bit the inside of her cheek at Naruto's over protective personality leaking out. While Hinata had personalities she was sure her friends from Konoha hasn't seen. She was sure Naruto had personalities Sakura and Sasuke haven't seen. "Umm yes. So I wasn't well back then, and I had to leave to get better. I have been feeling very well lately. Thank you for being happy for me. You have always been a supportive, close friend Sakura."

Sakura smiled at Hinata. She understood. Naruto was protecting Hinata's mental and making sure she stayed healthy. "I'm super happy for you Hinata. I can't wait to have you back at home, so we can catch up on a girls day."

At this Hinata looked at Naruto. He shrugged his shoulders as he put his spoon down. "About that. I wanted to talk to you about that sensei." He looked down at the table as he tapped his finger near his bowl. "I love Konoha. Where I'm from."

Kakashi nodded his head as he folded his arms over his chest. "But you like it here a little more. You want to stay in Amegakure. You're telling me you don't want to be Hokage anymore."

Sakura's mouth dropped open and she looked over at Naruto. Even Sasuke looked surprised. Muttering a 'what' as he looked at Naruto.

Naruto nodded his head and scratched his chin. "Sounds weird right? I've been running around like some crazed psycho for years saying I'm going to be Hokage. Just to venture out and decide I don't want it anymore."

Kakashi shrugged his shoulders this time. "Doesn't sound weird at all. When you first left the village with Lord Jiraiya. You were young and focused on not getting killed by the Akatsuki and chasing after Sasuke. You ventured out the village, but you didn't get to experience life. Now you got to experience life away from Konoha, and you saw that maybe Konoha wasn't really everything you always wanted."

Naruto smiled at Kakashi's understanding. "We've traveled a few other places before coming here to Amegakure. When I first got here, I wanted nothing more but to leave as soon as possible, but Hinata helped me. She saw the diamond in the rough here. She saw the people here are really something awesome."

Naruto took Hinata's left hand, since that was the closest hand to him. He just had the urge to touch her. "So. I put some effort here and realized this place is freaking awesome, and I want to see it grow to its full potential. It definitely won't be the ninja powerhouse that Konoha is, but it'll have its own recognition."

He lifted Hinata's hand up and kissed it. Her sleeve slid down and her diamond engagement ring shined bright.

"Oh fuck." Sakura's mouth dropped open. Naruto gave her a sharp, disapproving look. "Hey now. Language Sakura."

Sakura gave Naruto a sharp look. "Oh shut it Naruto! You leave for almost a year. Totally cut us off and miss our wedding-"

"Hey. I sent a gift." Naruto butted in and frowned at her.

"That's not the point and you know it." Sasuke finally spoke up and looked at Naruto. He was growing tired of Naruto beating around the bush. All of this, all of Naruto's changed behavior revolved around this Hyuga female. He went after her and his whole personality changed.

Sasuke's eyes went to Hinata for a second before he looked back at Naruto, but Naruto caught the look.

Naruto had a serious expression on his face and gave Sasuke a chilling stare. "Why did you and Sakura come with sensei? To ask me about your wedding? Why I didn't come? To see if I'm sucking here or if the gossip mill was right about Amegakure? Reason why I ask, is because the way you two are acting, is not showing that you came here because you 'missed' me."

Sasuke glared at Naruto. Okay. He wouldn't wait to talk to him in private. "Kakashi told us that you might want to stay in this village. You're right. It doesn't make sense. You're going to leave Konoha after everything that has happened? We made it through a war and you just change your mind. Just like that."

Naruto shrugged his shoulders. Still giving Sasuke an icy look. "Yeah Sasuke. Just like that. Do you want me to feel guilty? Konoha has SO many good ninja's there. Kakashi has a butt load of people to pick from. Amegakure doesn't. I don't feel guilty. I use to, but-"

"Let me guess. Your fiancé has talked you out of feeling guilty for letting your people down."

Naruto was about to slam his hand on the table in pure anger, but he stopped himself mid slam. He took a deep breath and let it out his nostrils as he looked at his hand. "If you make a cheap shot like that again Sasuke. I won't ever talk to you again. I'm not going to sit here and argue with you. I'm not going to fight you. I view you as my brother and I love you, and Sakura like family, because you guys are the only family I have. Team seven is the only family I have, but if you disrespect Hinata again. I'll cut you and Sakura off."

He looked up at Sasuke with an unsettling look and Sasuke matched that look, but he didn't say anything else.

Naruto cleared his throat and smiled when the server came to give them to-go boxes. "We have an extra room in our home for you sensei. I didn't know Sakura and Sasuke were coming, but we have a guest house on the property too. So you two can stay there."

Hinata watched the tension between team seven and looked at Kakashi awkwardly. He smiled under his mask at her and waved it off. For her not to worry.

When they got back to the cottage, they made it inside before it started to rain. Naruto went to the fireplace to start it and Hinata walked into the kitchen to pull out some dessert. "Sakura, please, before you retire in the guest house. Stay for sweets and tea. Uchiha-san if he wants tea as well."

Sakura caught on to how Hinata addressed Sasuke. These two didn't like one another. How? They never even spoke to each other. "That sounds great Hinata. I'd love to have some. You made it? You know your cooking is amazing." Hinata nodded her head and beamed at this as she went to start the tea.

Sakura looked at Naruto, who was looking over his shoulder as he got the fire started. Happy it was a gas powered fireplace. No need to constantly feed it. Naruto caught Sakura's stare and shrugged his shoulders before shaking his head and looking away.

Hinata could be just as bad as Sasuke, she just covered it up with politeness and formal terminology. Naruto was really thankful they didn't see Hinata at her worse. Shit, she hurt his feelings at her worst.

Naruto stood up and looked over at Sasuke. "I'll light up the fireplace in the guest cabin." Sasuke nodded his head at this, already seeing what Naruto was hinting at. "I'll come with you."

Hinata watched Naruto from the corner of her eyes leave with Sasuke, and before Naruto left he turned to her and winked. Everything was going to be fine. He'll fix the situation.

Naruto and Sasuke jogged over to the cabin. The rain was light right now and Naruto didn't want to get stuck when it turned heavy. When the two went in, Sasuke shut the door and faced Naruto. The two looked at one another and Naruto folded his arms across his chest. "Alright Sasuke. Say what's on your mind."

Sasuke eyed Naruto and crossed his own arms. Before he left the village on his path of redemption, he did take up the offer of getting a new arm like Naruto. So the two mimicked one another. "All of this happening right now. It's all of a sudden. Don't you think?"

Naruto nodded his head and shrugged his shoulders. "Yeah. It is."

Sasuke narrowed his eyes at the man he saw as a brother. It was rare for Naruto to be the one short answering anyone. "It doesn't seem like your idea. How much of this is your idea Naruto? You know you're an idiot for love."

Naruto looked at Sasuke and his expression turned to one of amusement. He even chuckled at this. "Ha-ha! Really? I'm an idiot for love? Hmm, maybe you're right. After the war, out of all the females that offered themselves to me, I was a sucker for all of them. Right? This is hilarious because you don't even KNOW Hinata."

Sasuke frowned at Naruto. This was going to turn into an argument soon. Both of them were hot heads. "Yet in a matter of months. You know this Hyuga enough to propose to her and uproot your whole life, and everything you've worked for, to live in Amegakure? Do you know how insane this sounds and looks?"

Naruto grinned and shook his head. "I've known Hinata probably longer than I've known you Sasuke. She has been a very close friend of mine. We grew closer while you were away. You don't even know…you don't even CARE about what me and Hinata have been through. How we've bonded. Which is fine. It's fine that you are focused on you and Sakura right now. That's how couples should be. I hope you didn't expect for me to forever be the third wheel for you two. For me to sit around, and watch you two be happy, and have a family, while I become a single Hokage. Or worse, an arranged marriage one."

Naruto's grin grew more snide and his eyes darkened. "Is that what you wanted Sasuke? For me to just follow you and Sakura around like a stray lost dog forever? To never find happiness?"

Sasuke almost snarled at Naruto. His teeth was showing and his face looked borderline furious. "You really think that low of us?" Naruto calmly smirked at Sasuke and tilted his head. "You keep talking about Hinata that way and my thoughts, along with my words, will only go lower."

Sasuke blinked as he looked at Naruto. He scratched the back of his head as he shook it. "I see you're being authentic now. Not putting on that goofy mask 24/7. I respect that. So, how invested are you with staying here?"

Naruto turned around to start the fire and shrugged his shoulders. "I don't know. Like 70/30. The 70 is me being here in Amegakure. It's not all for Hinata either, I like it here. I promised myself I would come back here one day and really make this place worth something. I promised someone that. So, I'm happy that I can do that. It brings ME joy, Sasuke."

Sasuke tilted his head as he watched Naruto. Clearly Naruto knew Sasuke could start a simple fire himself. He literally could push it out his own mouth. "Forever?"

Naruto quickly started the fire and turned the dial up to a reasonable heat. Only Hinata liked it medium-high. "Maybe, maybe not. Not sure. I like it here right now though. This feels like home for a while. We might end up rebuilding the cottage we're staying at. The elderly couple that was renting it to us, asked if we wanted to buy it. They could use the money as retirement and travel like they always wanted to. So, I took them up on the offer."

Sasuke's eyes widened and Naruto turned around to look at him. "Besides. You can always break that 'Uchiha curse' and put your name in for Hokage." Sasuke gave Naruto a pointed look and rolled his eyes. "Hilarious. I'll pass."

For some reason, this annoyed Naruto to no end.

Naruto leaned back on the couch the fireplace was near. "So what the hell are you going to do Sasuke? The Uchiha clan, just like the Hyuga clan belong in Konoha. Your wife has a life there. Heavily. It's not like me and Hinata. I didn't mind following Hinata and she didn't want to stay in Konoha. If by any means I wanted to leave Amegakure, Hinata would leave with me. That's what I'm beginning to realize is how relationships work. Nothing is one sided."

Naruto smiled as he shook his head and looked at the floor. "You really had it all Sasuke, and I'm not talking about before the Uchiha massacre. I'm talking after. You had a girl that openly loved you. You had people that wanted to train 'the last Uchiha' to make you awesome. You were destined to be great, if you stayed you would have avenged your family. You could have went through the trauma with people that love you. You screwed it up. Now you'll live the rest of your days struggling to clear your name, for your children and their future."

Sasuke ran his hands through his hair and looked at the floor as well. "Exactly. Me and you both know I couldn't even put my name in as a Hokage candidate. I'm tainted. You're not. I get it. You don't have to keep rubbing it in."

Naruto looked at the floor, almost like he was confused. "I'm not. I just keep using you as a reason I should go back to Konoha. To make sure you do get your life together. To make sure you don't snap again. To make sure you don't leave for too long and break Sakura's heart. I…I can't keep being there for you two. I get you two aren't asking, but I'm a sucker for love. Right? I love a happy, loving family. So our future generations can grow right and not how we were raised."

Naruto finally looked at Sasuke, and the two made eye contact. "I have to put myself first for once. I can't be the savior of team seven anymore. Sasuke, if you mess this up, I won't be there to fix it. I'll let Konoha punish you how they want next time."

Sasuke nodded his head as he looked at Naruto. "If I go utterly insane like before. You should let them kill me, like they wanted to. If I screw up again, I would deserve it."

Naruto grinned at Sasuke and the two finally relaxed. "You don't have to be Hokage. Sai, I heard is going to be Anbu captain, but you could work in plans and programs. You're a good strategist. Aside from Shikamaru. Plus that keeps you in the village with Sakura."

Sasuke looked at Naruto fully amused now. "That actually sounds like decent advise."

Naruto laughed and Sasuke followed with a smile. "Screw you teme!"

Sasuke shook his head as he looked around the cabin. "Kage of Amegakure. Who would have thought Akatsuki left that big of an imprint on you. Now be honest. Was it really you that came here?"

Naruto eyed Sasuke playfully before smirking. "Hinata wanted to come here to see the artwork and after that. I asked her if we could stay for a bit. She gave me the idea of Kage though. You know I couldn't have figured out all of this business and tech stuff by myself!"

Sasuke smirked as he looked at Naruto. "I knew it. You're whipped. I get that you two had chemistry prior to your popularity. I don't know what happened while you two have been out here traveling, but it's obvious you're whipped. Not in a bad way before you get all emotional again and talk reckless."

Naruto blushed a little in embarrassment. He scratched the back of his head and had this goofy grin on his face. "Whipped huh? Yeah well, I love her. She's brought me a lot of peace. I want to settle down and be with Hinata forever. So I guess that makes you whipped too. For Sakura."

Sasuke smiled at this. "I guess you're right."

A light pow wow between Team Seven. They'll be here for a few chapters.

I wanted to explore more into Naruto and Sasuke's friendship. Show more of their brotherly love.

Naruto and Hinata not going to SasuSaku wedding was purely because they were in fact busy and didn't want to go back to the village too soon on their path of finding themselves. I think that is perfectly justified.

I also wanted to show in this chapter that Naruto has moved on. That his soul focus is himself and Hinata. That he would defend his lover and not let anyone even hint at being rude to her. All while not getting violent or becoming a hot head like his old character.

Next chapter. Sasuke and Hinata butt heads. As subtle as two silent people can be.

See you Friday!
