Before she graduated Luna Nova and became an international magical superstar, Akko was just a waitress at her family's restaurant. The first semester of the new school year has finished at Luna Nova Magical Academy, and Akko is ready for summer vacation! She had her whole month planned out...that is until Diana arrives and offers her a chance to join her on a "study" trip to a beach resort. Now he has to navigate throughout an all girls magic school where he, Akko, Sucy, Lotte, Diana and everyone at Luna Nova have to help him find a way home even with several obstacles in his path. With a summer where revelations came like a rocket, to change with everything what was the quiet life of our girls who now know they are witches, they were spending these months until winter trying to understand each other, until the imminent return to the mysterious place called Luna Nova, where they will venture to meet new mysteries (part 2 of Luna Nova Chronicle series)

How had she met Croix? It was a question Ursula had been expecting Akko to make sooner rather than later, and had also dreaded it. In the middle of the Luna Nova Rave, Akko's broom knocked her off, resulting in the young witch falling. Diana tries to catch her but missed resulting in the young Japanese witch falling hard to the ground and going into a coma. Now Diana has to live with the guilt as she tries to find a way to wake Akko up.

One year after the New Nine Witches save the world and its magic, everyone seems to be improving in many ways. Everyone except for a certain pair of witches...
