Chapter 3: Unleashed Darkness

Kira found herself drawn deeper into the supernatural world of Shreveport, her desire for answers growing stronger with each passing day. As she delved into the secrets hidden within the shadows, she began to uncover fragments of her own identity, a puzzle waiting to be solved.

One evening, Kira received a tip about a group of Black Watch soldiers lurking in the outskirts of the city. Black Watch, known for their ruthless tactics and relentless pursuit of power, had a reputation that sent shivers down the spines of even the bravest supernatural beings. Intrigued and fueled by her desire to test the extent of her powers, Kira decided to confront them.

With Eric by her side, Kira ventured into the darkness of the night, her blacklight essence pulsating with anticipation. They reached the abandoned warehouse where the Black Watch soldiers were rumored to be, their presence cloaked in secrecy.

As they approached the entrance, Kira's senses heightened, her grip on her power tightening. She could feel the malevolent energy emanating from within, a darkness that mirrored her own. The time for answers had come.

They stepped into the warehouse, the air thick with tension. The Black Watch soldiers, clad in their black armor, turned their attention to Kira and Eric, their eyes filled with a mix of curiosity and disdain.

"Well, well, what do we have here?" one of the soldiers sneered, his voice laced with arrogance. "A couple of wannabe heroes looking for trouble?"

Kira's eyes narrowed, her blacklight energy surging through her body. "We're not here for trouble," she replied, her voice dripping with a dangerous calmness. "We're here for answers. I want to know what you know about me."

The soldiers chuckled, their laughter echoing through the warehouse. "You think you can intimidate us, little girl? We've dealt with creatures far more powerful than you."

As the soldiers advanced, Kira's blacklight essence erupted, engulfing her body in a dark aura. Her eyes transformed into pools of inky blackness, her claws extending into sharp, deadly weapons.

With a swift, fluid movement, Kira lunged at the soldiers, her blacklight claws tearing through their armor like paper. The soldiers screamed in agony as their bodies were ripped apart, blood staining the floor.

Eric watched in awe and concern, realizing the true extent of Kira's power. He had seen violence before, but the savagery with which she tore through the Black Watch soldiers was something he had never witnessed.

The remaining soldiers hesitated for a moment, their confidence shattered. They exchanged fearful glances, realizing the grave mistake they had made. But it was too late.

Kira moved with lightning speed, her blacklight claws slashing through the air, leaving trails of darkness in their wake. The soldiers fought back, but their efforts were futile against the unleashed darkness within her.

Within moments, the warehouse was filled with the agonized screams of the Black Watch soldiers, their bodies torn apart by Kira's relentless onslaught. Blood dripped from her claws as she stood amidst the carnage, the darkness slowly receding from her body.

Eric approached Kira cautiously, his eyes filled with a mix of awe and concern. "Kira, what have you done?" he asked, his voice barely a whisper.

Kira's breathing was heavy, her eyes still filled with the remnants of her blacklight essence. "I showed them what happens when you cross someone who has embraced the darkness within," she replied, her voice tinged with a chilling determination.

Eric's expression hardened, his gaze fixed on Kira. "You have power, Kira, but with power comes responsibility. You must learn to control it, to channel it for the greater good."

Kira met his gaze, her eyes filled with a newfound understanding. "I will, Eric. But for now, I have a taste for the darkness. And those who dare to stand in my way will face the consequences."

As Kira and Eric left the warehouse, the echoes of the massacre hung heavy in the air. Kira had embraced her darkness, unleashing a force that both terrified and exhilarated her. From that night onward, the supernatural world of Shreveport would know the name Aries, a harbinger of darkness and a relentless seeker of truth

Eric had soon relises kira wasn't human but blacklight itself in essence she was a living virus capable of turning the world into a viral hellscape tho at the moment kira was still the one calling the shots for now at least but for how long for now kira believes shes supernatural but in essence still human what might happens when she learns the truth
