Ok, final decision! I'm not changing the pairing after this, I promise. I'm going to list the pairings.

Naruto x Ty-Lee x Suki x Temari = It's gonna be Ty-Lee and Suki. "Someone" thought of a scenario including the four and they'd like to see it come to fruition. Like Naruto's making breakfast and the three come and harass him with kisses.

"That was my girlfriend's input."

Menma x Azula = I'm sure it was obvious that they were going to end up together. I hope you don't mind a bit of incest; I mean come on, it was old times, I'm sure sisters with sleeping were brothers and vice-versa in those times!

Sokka x Toph = There's a book that the creator wrote called "Love is blind" starring Sokka and Toph on the cover, in a romantic position.

Aang x Katara = We've seen Legend of Korra.

Ok, disclaimer, I'll be writing this story all over again but with a different plot. Like Naruto being the same from Naruto and Naruto: Shippuden? Yeah, so how do you like the sound of that?

Chapter: 13

XxX~ ( With Sokka and Aang ) ~XxX

Aang and Sokka were flying overhead, some ostrich-horses drinking from the river bank.

"So, what kind of trouble is Katara in?" Sokka asked, a little irritated.

"I don't know. In my vision, I just knew she needed help." Aang said, which didn't make Sokka feel any better about leaving his dad.

"It would be nice if your Avatar powers could be just a little more specific from time-to-time." He said a bit annoyed, he looks down and notices a mound of earth passing nearby, heading to the wall. "What is that?" He asked, pointing to the moving earth. They fly down and follow the mound. Toph is seen still earth surfing. Aang and Sokka come down beside her.

"Need a ride?!" He asked, Toph became startled at the sound of Sokka's voice and fell backward off of the mound. Sokka and Aang cringe upon seeing her fall.

XxX~ ( With Azula ) ~XxX

Azula was overseeing the Dai Li, giving them orders.

"The Earth King and the Council of Five do not trust the Dai Li. They imprisoned your leader, Long Feng. Soon they will turn on all of you and eliminate you. Seizing power today is a matter of life and death." As she talks, an agent with a mustache starts looking nervous and slightly lowers his head.

"This coup must be swift and decisive. The Earth King and each of the five generals must be taken out simultaneously. Long Feng has placed you in my command while we overthrow the government." Azula said as she walked over to her left, to another agent with a tiny, vertical scar on his right cheek. When she nears him, she stares sideways at the agent while still addressing all the agents.

"If I sense any disloyalty, any hesitation, any weakness at all," She stops right in front of the scarred agent. "I will snuff it out." She continues walking, with the eyes of the now nervous scarred agent following her. "That is all." The Dai Li leave, and Azula walks up to Ty Lee, who is pouring tea.

"Nice speech, Azula. It was pretty and poetic, but also scary in a good way." She hands the cup to Azula. Mai looked amused.

"Yeah. I thought you were going to make that one guy pee his pants." Mai said with a laugh at the end.

"There are still a few loose ends. The Avatar, and my brother and uncle."

XxX~ ( With Iroh and Zuko ) ~XxX

Scene fades to outside the Royal Palace, where Zuko, Naruto and Iroh begin walking toward it.

"Many times I imagined myself here, at the threshold of the palace." Iroh said, the camera pans to show the Earth Kingdom Emblem above the palace doors. "But I always thought I would be here as a conqueror. Instead, we are the Earth King's personal guests, here to serve him tea. Destiny is a funny thing." Iroh said, Zuko and Naruto exchange looks.

"It sure is, Uncle." Zuko replied.

"Stay on your toes, I have a bad feeling about this." Naruto warned, Zuko and Iroh stood a bit straighter.

XxX~ ( Back with Aang, Sokka and Toph ) ~XxX

Scene changes back to Appa, Toph, Aang, and Sokka still flying back to the Palace. Toph is seen holding onto Sokka's arm so she does not fall, or so she says.

"So how did it go with the guru? Did you master the Avatar State?" Toph asked, burying her face in Sokka's muscular arm, sighing dreamily. Aang stumbled at this.

"Uh …" Aang looks down and thinks back to what Guru Pathik said before he left.

"If you leave now, you won't be able to go into the Avatar State at all!" Fades back to the present.

Sokka noticed his friend's uneasy exterior and commented upon it. "Aang, are you okay?" Sokka asked.

"I'm great! It went great with the guru. I completely mastered the Avatar State." He said, laughing nervously and looking down. "Yeah."

XxX~ ( Palace ) ~XxX

Moving back to the Royal Palace, where Zuko, Naruto and Iroh are sitting at a table in a room, waiting for the Earth-king. Iroh pours some tea into a cup.

"What's taking so long?" Zuko impatiently asked, Iroh placed a hand on his shoulder to reassure.

"Maybe the Earth-king overslept." Iroh theorised, Dai Li agents begin to circle around the two.

"Something's not right." Zuko said, Azula walks past the Dai Li and comes in front of her brother outside the circle of Dai Li agents.

"It's tea time! And I see you brought someone with you." She said, referring to Naruto. Zuko quickly stands up.

"Good to see you too, cuz." Naruto greeted with a scoff, he spat a rock at one of the Dai Li agents, who soon fell over because the rock knocked him out cold.

"Azula!"

"I've also brought someone." Azula said, in a burst of fire Menma appeared with a grin.

"Have you met the Dai Li? They're earthbenders, but they have a killer instinct that's so firebender. I just love it." Menma told Naruto who scoffed.

"You're asking someone who lives in Ba Sing Se if they've met the Dai Li. Who am I kidding, of course you'd think so low of me." Naruto replied, which got the redheads blood boiling. Iroh picked up the cup of tea he poured and stood.

"Did I ever tell you how I got the nickname "the Dragon of the West"?" Iroh asked.

"We're not interested in a lengthy anecdote, Uncle." Azula said, moving a stray hair that went into her face.

"It's more of a demonstration, really." He said. Iroh begins drinking his tea. Zuko and Naruto look over at him and smile since they've heard this story. They retreat behind him. Iroh begins breathing fire, forcing the Dai Li agents and Azula, and Menma to take cover.

Cut to a corridor outside the room as a fire blast makes a hole in the wall, allowing Iroh and Zuko to escape. The Dai Li agents begin shooting some rock gloves at them, but miss as Naruto, Zuko and Iroh turn around the corner. Naruto kicks the wall, destroying the wall in front before jumping down into a bush below with Iroh doing the same. Zuko stops at the edge however.

"Come on! You'll be fine!" Naruto called out, and Zuko shook his head.

"No! I'm tired of running! It's time I faced Azula!" Zuko turns around and walks back. Iroh and Naruto smack their heads upon hearing this and run away.

"You're so dramatic. What? Are you going to challenge me to an Agni Kai?" Azula asked with Menma walking out of the room, drinking a cup of tea that Iroh prepared.

"Yes! I challenge you!" He yells. Azula looks at her nails for any dirt.

"No thanks." She said blankly.

Zuko shoots a fire blast toward her, but two Dai Li agents intervene and pull up a section of the floor, making a wall. They shoot some rock gloves at Zuko's feet, making him lose his balance. He puts his right hand down, but another rock glove traps that one. Azula turns around smiling and walks away as the agents capture him.

XxX~ ( With Naruto ) ~XxX

Iroh and Naruto split up, going to get the Avatar's help and Naruto went to warn the Earth-king that his city was being invaded.

He enters the throne room, seeing Team Avatar.

"Your majesty! The Fire Nation has infiltrated the city, Princess-Azula has the Dai Li on her side!" Naruto exclaimed, Aang uses air bending and his already impressive speed appeared in front of the blonde.

"Do they have Katara?!" Aang asked, to which Naruto pried him off.

"How would I know?" Naruto asked, and he kneeled to the Earth-king. "What are your orders?" Naruto asked authoritatively, for some reason Sokka and Toph bowed as well.

Kuei stood, his teal eyes becoming icy, the room's temperature suddenly dropped a few degrees.

"Naruto, what is it that you want?" Kuei asked, and Naruto looked up.

"Uhh… sir, I don't understand?"

"What is it that you want in the future?" Kuei asked.

"A bond with Menma again. And I guess, I wanna leave the city, travel, and have a family." Naruto said, Kuei smiled.

"Well, starting from tomorrow, you're free to do all of that. This will be your last mission." Kuei said.

"What is it?" Naruto asked.

"I want you to dispose of Azula, Long-Feng and all of the Dai Li." He said, while tapping his foot in morse code, relaying a message that Sokka caught but didn't say anything.

Oh dear…

"As you wish, your highness." Naruto said in a monotone. Aang waved his staff.

"I can't let you kill anyone!" Aang said sternly. Naruto walked past him.

"If you were to get in my way, I will dispose of you accordingly." Naruto warned, pumping his shoulder into Aang's. Aang stopped him however.

"Naruto, I can't have you killing people." Aang said, his face red with anger. Naruto kicked him in the chest, hard, and he flew back to the wall.

"And like I said, I will dispose of you if you get in my way." Naruto said, Sokka pulled him aside.

"I know what you're and the king are planning." Sokka said seriously, Naruto removed his hand.

"Then do not lower your guard, they will swoop in and cut!" He unsheathed one of Sokka's knives before putting it to his neck. He smiled when he saw Sokka's kunai close to his abdomen.

"I'm not afraid to kill if I have to." The Water Tribe warrior said, the blonde removed the kunai and gave it back.

"When are you gonna tell her?" Naruto asked, Sokka hid his kunai and gave Naruto a confused stare.

"I don't know what you mean?" Sokka said, oblivious to the blonde's question.

"I have eyes, I see the way your face lights up when Toph laughs." Naruto said, Sokka's blush was all he needed, he patted Sokka on the shoulder, and then walked away.

XxX~ ( Crystal Catacombs ) ~XxX

Inside the Crystal Catacombs, where Katara is pacing back and forth. She stops pacing upon hearing a hole open up above.

"You've got company." The Dai Li agent said, and soon after that he throws Zuko in, who rolls down and lands in front of Katara.

"Zuko!" Katara's shocked face becomes an angry one as Zuko sits up and the hole closes behind him. Katara is seen yelling at Zuko, who sits with his back turned, not bothered, showing that his training is paying off in tough situations.

"Why did they throw you in here?!" Katara yelled, expecting the scarred prince to reply, which Zuko did not.

"Oh, wait, let me guess. It's a trap. So that when Aang shows up to help me, you can finally have him in your little Fire Nation clutches!" Katara assumes, Zuko turns his head to look at her, and turns back, and looks at the ground again. Katara continued to lament.

"You're a terrible person! You know that? Always following us! Hunting the Avatar! Trying to capture the world's last hope for peace! But what do you care? You're the Fire Lord's son. Spreading war and violence and hatred is in your blood!" She cursed, and Zuko turned to face her.

"You don't know what you're talking about!" He said angrily. Katara replied with just as much fire in her voice.

"I don't? How dare you! You have no idea what this war has put me through!" She said, and sat down; facing away from her. "Me personally!" She touches her mothers necklace, begins to cry. "The Fire Nation took my mother away from me." She confessed, crying her eyes out. Zuko turns around to face Katara, sympathy showing in his eyes.

"I'm sorry." He pauses to stand up. "That's something we have in common." He continued, Katara looked back, surprised, and wiped away the tears from her eyes.

XxX~ ( With Team Avatar ) ~XxX

The scene changes to Toph, Aang, and Sokka reaching their house on Appa. The three jump off and run inside to see if Katara was in there. Momo runs up to them.

"Momo!" Aang exclaimed, Momo climbed up Aang onto his shoulders. Toph looks around.

"There's no one else here." Toph said, using vibrations to feel out the whole house.

"Katara is in trouble! I knew it!" Aang said, Sokka's face went grim.

"Oh, no!"

"Wait! Someone's at the door." Toph said and knocks came from the door a second later. "Actually, I know who it is. It's an old friend of mine." She walks over to the door and opens it, showing Iroh behind the door. "Glad to see you're okay." Toph said, smiling all the while.

"I need your help." Iroh said gravely.

Sokka and Aang become shocked and angry upon seeing him, and get into a fighting stance. Toph calmly smiles and waves at him. Momo flies away upon seeing him.

"You guys know each other?!" Aang asked.

"I met him in the woods once and knocked him down. Then he gave me some tea and some very good advice." Toph informed the team of benders and non-benders.

"May I come in?" Iroh politely asks, Toph nods, and he walks in before turning to the group. "Princess-Azula is here in Ba Sing Se, along with her friends and Naruto's brother: Menma." Iroh explains, Sokka placed a hand on his chin, thinking of a plan.

"She must have Katara." Sokka guessed.

"She has captured my nephew as well." Iroh said.

"Then we'll work together to fight Azula and Menma, and save Katara and Zuko." Sokka said, Aang's eyes widened and he approached Sokka and pointed at him.

"Uhh… hello? Angry guy with firebending that needs me to go home, ring any bells?" Aang asked sarcastically.

"I know how you must feel about my nephew." Moving forward to place his hands on Aang's shoulders. "But believe me when I tell you that there is good inside him." Iroh said, Aang gently pulled Iroh's hands off.

"Katara's in trouble. All of Ba Sing Se is in trouble. Working together is our best chance. So I'll trust you." Aang said, Sokka understands, and nods. Iroh begins walking back to the door.

"I also brought someone along who might help us." Iroh told the group, they all move outside. Toph puts a couple earth pillars around the nervous Dai Li agent and makes him stand up. Iroh walks over to him and takes the gag off his mouth, revealing this to be the scarred agent.

"Azula and Long Feng are plotting a coup! They're going to overthrow the Earth-king!" The captured agent blurted out. The scene changes to Toph feeling the ground below, finding the Crystal Catacombs. "Well, what'd you know? There is an ancient city down there. But it's deep." Toph creates a hole, and intends to go inside but Sokka stops her.

"Aang, you and Iroh go inside to save Katara and Zuko. Me and Toph will go another way." Sokka said, Toph inwardly celebrated, she could spend some alone time with Sokka. Sokka was kinda glad too.

"Agreed, see you in a few minutes." Sokka said, and Aang and Iroh left.

XxX~ ( With Iroh and Aang ) ~XxX

Iroh was walking with a calm fire in his palm, Aang was moving earth to get to the catacombs area.

"So, Toph thinks you give pretty good advice, and great tea." Aang said with a grin, Iroh smiles.

"The key to both is proper aging. What's on your mind?" The old man asked, Aang earthbends again before replying.

"Well, I met with this guru who was supposed to help me master the Avatar State and control this great power, but to do it, I had to let go of someone I love." Aang said, a little down casted. He and Iroh stop. "And I just couldn't." Aang said.

"Perfection and power are overrated. I think you were very wise to choose happiness and love." Iroh inquired, Aang earthbends the earth away once again.

"What happens if we can't save anyone and beat Azula? Without the Avatar State, what if I'm not powerful enough?" Aang said, Iroh thought upon that question.

"I don't know the answer. Sometimes, life is like this dark tunnel. You can't always see the light at the end of the tunnel, but if you just keep moving." Aang earthbends the rocks away one last time. Iroh's fire blows out. He smiles. "You will come to a better place." They stand on top of a clifftop, overseeing a large area of the Catacombs.

XxX~ ( Zuko and Katara ) ~XxX

Zuko was sitting on a rock, Katara doing the same on a different one, she gave off an apologetic atmosphere while Zuko released a sympathetic exterior.

"I'm sorry I yelled at you before." Katara apolosed; in her defense, Zuko had been tracking them down from the beginning to this very moment.

"It doesn't matter." Zuko brushed her apology off. She looked at him

"It's just that for so long now, whenever I would imagine the face of the enemy, it was your face." She said solemnly, Zuko touched his face, specifically his scar.

"My face? I see." Zuko said, Katara saw how that might be taken and went to correct herself.

"No, no, that's-that's not what I mean." She lamented, approaching Zuko.

"It's okay. I used to think this scar marked me. The mark of the banished prince, cursed to chase the Avatar forever. But lately, I've realized I'm free to determine my own destiny, even if I'll never be free of my mark." Zuko explained, a bit sad at the fact his scar couldn't be healed.

"Maybe you could be free of it." Katara compromised, Zuko's eyes widened for a second.

"What?" Was his intelligent answer.

"I have healing abilities." Katara reminded.

"It's a scar, it can't be healed." Katara held up a water vial containing spirit water from the North Pole.

"This is water from the Spirit Oasis at the North Pole. It has special properties, so I've been saving it for something important." Katara said while moving closer to Zuko. "I don't know if it would work, but …" Katara puts one hand on Zuko's scar, only to be interrupted by Aang and Iroh.

"Aang!" Aang looks surprised as Katara hugs him, but Aang looks over Katara's shoulder to glare at Zuko. Cut to Zuko, who gets a hug from Iroh, and glares back.

How was the chapter? I thought it was pretty good.

If you're wondering why there's no attributes, it's because there's no one I need to cover this season. I'll continue next season. Next chapter I'm going to give Naruto and Ty-Lee a little moment, I hope you stay long enough to read it. Chao.
