Alec has been a loyal solider nearly his entire life. He was raised with it- for it…never for a moment questioned it. Never questioned they were in the right…after all they are Angelus- decedents of Angels…facing literal monsters: demons, goblins, shifters and other terrifying, nightmare creatures…How can they NOT be? how can one persons entire world view change in one night?

Alec finally had a long weekend off to spend with Magnus, when the same weekend Magnus has an event he has to attend, the entire weekend Alec has off, so he convinces Alec to come with him and it ends up much like a second honeymoon...idk I'm bad at summaries. But I hope everyone enjoys it.

Magnus contemplates on what love is, he remembers past lovers, and his now relationship with Alec. Dating has been compared to a game, a sport, a hunt, a dance, and it is all of things most of the time. This time, it was more like skydiving without a parachute.

Alec can tell that something is bothering his husband. What this something is... well, he doesn't know yet. However, he will make sure to figure that out. Until then, he will simply support the love of his life, even if that means that he follows him to the other end of the world. Quite literally. Because that is, where Magnus has brought them to... Alec Gideon Lightwood has many burdens on his shoulders. Most importantly, he has to live up to his family name. He isn't too sure about being able to live up to his parents' high standards and he doesn't know in whom he can confide. Certainly not with his siblings. Yet another show that shouldn't have been cancelled, that last scene left so many open ended questions swirling in my head, so hopefully this will help answer some of those, for both me and you. Rated for wherever the muse takes me. Read and review
