Snow and his roses had become inseparable in Beth's mind, it was both a blessing and a curse. To some the roses and their smell were like a threat, a sign of impending danger, demanding fear and respect, to Beth they smelled like comfort and power and passion beyond imagination.

If the last months had shown Beth anything it was that everything always was and nothing ever was as it seemed. Snow of course always had a plan, it was just a question of when it benefitted him to let other people in on it. Keeping things hidden from him on the other hand was never an option.
