Phileas's personal crusade to put an end to the League of Darkness has led him to America, where he expects both the Ridgemont brothers and Jules Verne in trouble. He is not disappointed. To help deal with the League, he again partners with Agents James West and Artemus Gordon, this time against a ruthless League scientist, Dr. Loveless.
