Gotham City...
For many years this city was ruled by the mob bosses of the various crime families that called Gotham their home. The citizens of Gotham could do nothing as pretty much every politician and high ranking police officer in Gotham City was in the pocket of the mob bosses. Even police commissioner Gilligan B. Loeb was no exception as he was the dirtiest cup of them all.
Many hard-working citizens just wanted to leave Gotham City and start life somewhere else, but the various crime families made sure it was difficult to leave, it's pretty much every business in Gotham City was paying protection money to the Gotham Mafia, whe at the same time the Mobsters made sure that no employees got any ideas of leaving town, or else their families would be put in danger.
This forced many of the honest citizens of Gotham City who had nothing to do with crime to stay reluctantly, accepting the Fate that they would forever have to live in a city that kept them trapped like prisoners.
That was until the day he arrived...!
Several years ago a masked vigilantes waged a one man war against the Gotham Mafia!
Powerful crime bosses like Rupert Thorne, Carmine Falcone, and Black Mask found their various crime rackets and territories taken away from them by force!
Illegal shipments by boat-destroyed!
Rob a bank-bank robbers were found inside the vault, tied up and beaten!
A high-ranking dirty cop-resigned the next day, and was either arrested or left the city voluntarily...
No criminal, no matter who they were was safe from this vigilantee's wrath! Even the dirty cops who had ruled Gotham City from the shadows for many years were no exception, in fact they were the ones most targeted by this mysterious vigilante! Many left the police force, and they either turn themselves in so we prosecuted, or they left the city... never to be heard from again.
Even police commissioner Gilligan B. Loeb was no exception, as he voluntarily retired and gave the position of police commissioner to an honest hard-working police officer by the name of Jim Gordon.
With Jim Gordon now as police commissioner, he made a complete overhaul of the Gotham Police department by putting honest hard-working police officers in positions where they can actually do some good, while at the same time removing any dirty cop that still had a high-ranking position in the police department.
Many people credit this vigilante for saving the city from its own cesspool of corruption! And those who had managed to see a glimpse of him called him by many names.

To kany though, he went by another name-Batman!
This was because many witnesses said that he dressed up like a bat, a creature of the night that has a lot of superstitious tails around it.
Although many believe that bats are nothing more than flying rodents, the superstitious believe that bats are bringers of destruction and chaos!
Hence why this man, this vigilante dresses up like a bat and calls himself Batman!
What most people don't know is that Batman is in fact famous billionaire playboy Bruce Wayne, the wealthiest man in Gotham City.
Ten years ago Bruce's parents were murdered right in front of him by a mugger. This, combined with the grief that was never resolved resulted in Bruce spending the next ten years training his body and mind to be the perfect weapon against crime!
He learned detective skills from a legendary detective!
He learned hand to hand combat skills from a legendary assassin.
He learn hacking, stealth, and espionage skills from his family Butler, who used to be an MI6 agent.
He learn escape tricks from a legendary magician
And he learned how to control his mind through Tibetan monks in Nepal.
Thanks to the many teachers he had met through the last ten years, Bruce Wayne return to Gotham City and waited a whole year to make his debut as Batman! He did this in order for people to not connect the dots and suspect he's Batman.
Even if someone said he was Batman, most people wouldn't believe it as Bruce makes sure to have a public persona as a no good Playboy who uses his money to play around, donate to the occasional charity, and have flings with various women.
Most don't know that this is nothing more than a facade, and that the real Bruce Wayne is a hard-working individual who cannot stand crime, and will do anything it takes to fight for the greater good!
Little did Bruce Wayne / Batman know, somewhere deep in the cosmos destiny had something in store for him that even his world's greatest detective mind would never have expected.
And it all started in a dimension beyond the realms of space and time.
Instead this dimension existed a white, equine like creature with an androgynous appearance. It resembles a qilin or centaur with a gray, vertically-striated underside. The striated pattern has similar recurrences on the underside of its mane, tail, and face. Its four pointed feet are tipped with gold hooves. Its long mane juts away from its head, and its face is gray, with green eyes and red pupils, and a green circular pattern below its eyes. Arceus also has a streak of gold coloration on its head and ears that point upward. Its neck is fairly long, with two pairs of extrusions to the sides, and a flap-like feature on the neck's underside that is colored white like much of the body. The creature's most defining feature is a golden cross-like wheel attached to its body by its round abdomen.
This creature has been around for thousands of years, and it goes by many names in the world it is from. But too many including itself, it simply refers to itself as the original one, Arceus.
Currently Arceus appeared to be in great pain. The alpha Pokemon had his eyes closed as he had been looking into the distant future with his psychic plate, and what he saw in the distant future troubled him greatly.
In his vision into the future, he saw creatures that had long since disappeared from the world of pokémon causing untold havoc across the whole world! Pokemon trainers tried to stand up and fight with their Pokemon, but to no avail as they were simply too many of these powerful paradox creatures, and they were soon being overrun!
The world could not handle this level of destruction, and soon many regions began to fall one by one, simply cuz they could not handle the power of the threat that was emanating from Paldea!
'What is going on! I can barely make out what is happening other than countless suffering and destruction!' thought Arceus to himself, as unfortunately his psychic plate only allows him to see visions of the future.
And said visions of the future are murky at best... terrible at worst! This meant that he could not fully understand what was happening in front of him, no matter how hard he concentrated towards it.
'There has to be something I can do!' thought the alpha Pokemon to himself, trying to figure out what he was going to do next as he couldn't allow his world to be destroyed!
Unfortunately, that was easier said than done.
'Oh, if only I didn't create that stupid treaty thousands of years ago! Now me and the other legendary Pokemon cannot interfere with the matters concerning mortals, no matter how bad it gets! Yes a few of them refuse to sign the treaty, but there's no way any of them are going to stick their necks out for Paldea!'thought Arceus, remembering the treaty he created thousands of years ago.
Back then the world was in a primal state of constant conflict between powerful pokémon that once walked the very Earth that the Pokemon of today now stand on! This was the world of primal power, power that dissipated over the years. It was because of this power that all out war raged on between different legendary Pokemon!
The fighting would have continued if not for Arceus stepping in and interfering! The alpha pokémon suggested that every legendary Pokemon give up their primal power in exchange for territory, which many of them agreed! In turn, Arceus agreed not to interfere, otherwise the treaty would be broken and all out fighting could begin again!
Now, thousands of years later Arceus now regrets his decision as it was clear to him that his world was once again in danger from within!
He wishes he could do something but as the creator of the treaty, he of all people cannot break it as the damage could be worse than the damage that is happening in the near future of the Pokemon world.
"I must find a champion, but no one of the Pokemon world has experienced is kind of threat in thousands of years! The Pokemon world is a peaceful world. Sure there are a few bad eggs here and there, but nothing at this scale. I must have got a champion, but where?!"said Arceus, before his psychic plate began to resonate with his mind again and he saw something else in the near future.
There he saw a muscular man with broad shoulders standing against the destruction in Paldea. He braved Area Zero, taking on whatever threat is in front of him with powerful Pokemon by his side! Neither he or his Pokemon were afraid as they stood against the odds, and actually managed to push back the tire primal power back to where it came from!
'Who is this man?! His Aura is completely different from any human in the Pokemon world. Does that mean he is not from the Pokemon world, but from another world where humanity grew and prospered? But how is that possible? No alien creature besides deoxys has appeared in the Pokemon world in years!"said Arceus to himself, wondering what the heck was going on as he saw the man in the vision actually managing to defy the odds and push the threat back.
"Who is this man?! I must find him at once and convince him to save my world, wherever he is."said Arceus to himself, trying to use his psychic powers to get a better look at this man and figure out where he is from.
"Hmm... his name is Bruce Wayne! He it's from the planet Earth. Specifically, he is from a city called Gotham City, located in North America! He is secretly a mass vigilante known as Batman, who lost his parents at a young age and has vowed to stand up against anything that threatens the lives of Innocence! He's perfect! He's just the kind of individual who can stand up to that primal power and push it back to where it came from! Ohh, but how do I get such a man to come to the Pokemon worldm?"said Arceus to himself as he began to ponder.
He couldn't exactly allow this man to use the skills he would normally use against bad guys in the Pokemon world! He didn't want his champion to get arrested by officer Jenny, and he certainly didn't want him to get the wrong kind of attention from the people that call the Pokemon world their home.
That is when Arceus came up with an idea that he wasn't 100% on board with.
"While I find this idea in bad taste, as the old saying goes 'desperate times call for desperate measures.' I'll go to this Gotham City in find my champion! There I will alter his memories a bit to make him believe he is from the Pokemon world! I'll put him in a position where he can get a Pokemon, and begin his journey to gather the strength he needs to stop the threat that lies in the near future. Ohh... I really hate to do this but I have no choice, my people come first."said Arceus to himself, before he open the portal into Ultra Space and step through it.
There, he quickly made his way through the various portals to various worlds, ignoring them as he continued on his merry way to find Earth!
"I know! I'll make him a student educator at Naranja Academy. I'll implant a memory in the current director to give a Pokemon to the new student teacher that will arrive. I'm sorry what I'm about to do to you Bruce Wayne, but based on your personality I do not think you will agree to come to the Pokemon world willingly. I hope you can one day forgive me when your mission is complete. For now, I must get to Gotham City and find you at once!"said Arceus to himself, before he spotted the portal that would take him to Earth.
"There it is! Now to go to North America and locate Gotham City! I already know what Bruce Wayne looks like, with and without the mask! Now the only thing I can do is find him and use my powers to make him the perfect Pokemon trainer against the future threat! Oh, I hope I'm doing the right thing by both my people and by Bruce Wayne... hopefully he will forgive me when I restore his memories."said Arceus to himself, before he stepped forth into the portal that would take him to Earth.
There he found himself in the solar system. He quickly made his way past Pluto and Neptune. Then within a few minutes he made it past Jupiter and moved through the asteroid belt like it was nothing. He quickly passed by Mars, before he made it to the blue and green colored planet of Earth. Arceus took a moment to scan the area, before he spotted North America and quickly began making his way to the eastern part of North America, where Gotham city was located.
"I must hurry, otherwise they won't be a Pokemon world for me to protect!"said Arceus to himself as he passed through the atmosphere and spotted Gotham City from high up in the sky.
"I hope I'm making the right choice for everyone!"said Arceus, as he began to descend to Gotham City.
Before he arrived he made sure to turn himself invisible, that way he can look for Bruce Wayne / Batman without anyone freaking out! The only question on the Alpha Pokemon's mind was will he be able to do his plans successfully without any hindrances?
Only time will tell.
Took me a while to come up with a scenario that felt right in my head.
I know some of you people are going to argue that Batman would never become a Pokemon trainer, and even if he did he would never let go of his hand to hand combat fighting tactics. I agree, that is why in this fanfiction, Arceus will have no choice but to alter his memory slightly in order to ensure that Batman doesn't get the wrong kind of attention in the Pokemon world.

Anyway, I hope you will give this story a chance as I really want to see it through to the end!
The starter Pokemon will either be Quaxly or Fuecoco.
Sprigatito will not be considered as I love the grass cat Pokemon, don't get me wrong. I just have another grass type Pokemon ready for Bruce Wayne, a Pokemon I feel would fit perfectly on his team.
I won't tell you which Pokemon it is is I don't like to give spoilers.
