Remember when I told you I had a lot of stories, summaries, and whatnot on my computer? Well, here is one of them. This story doesn't have a real plot. I just wrote it one day because I was bored, but I stopped writing halfway through. Well, I was going through all my unfinished stories and decided to finish it.

Summary: Nonexistent. All I know is the boy next door needs to get some curtains if he's going to do the nasty because his next-door neighbor keeps on watching. Like seriously? It's giving peeping tom.

Neighbors' Temptation

Chapter One: Peeping Tom

Today was the same as any other day. It always started with Hinata sighing internally while listening to her roommates/best friends rant on about their dating life. It's not like she minded, but to barge into her room at eight in the morning was becoming a little annoying. Couldn't they read the room? She didn't want them in the only place she'd considered to be her haven. Perhaps, she was being childish for not speaking up but for most of her life, she had always been this meek, quiet child whom everyone seemed to look over. Maybe it was because of her short stature or her voice that came out in a whisper. But whatever the reason may be, she hated it.

"Hinata,"

Hearing her name made her snap out of her brooding thoughts. She looked over her shoulder and was met by Sakura's charming smile which always managed to make her feel a tad envious. Sakura was beautiful, a light to everyone's beacon. All it took was a simple smile, like now, to light the entire room. Some people had a glow-up stage, but not Sakura. She had always been beautiful.

"She's too busy tending to her plants."

Her tired eyes darted to the taller blonde lying next to Sakura. That was Ino. Another friend she'd envy for her outgoing personality and confidence. Ino was that IT girl. Tall, slender, blonde, and blue eyes made her the perfect cover girl.

Looking at those two and then Hinata was like looking at night and day. Those two always glowed, but Hinata was the complete opposite. Unlike Ino and Sakura who were vibrant, Hinata was known as the gloomy one. Dark hair, sad eyes, soft-spoken, and tied together with a gloomy presence made her their enemy.

To this day, no one understood why Sakura and Ino befriended Hinata. One day, they spoke to her at school and took her under their wings. Everyone praised the two for doing such a nice gesture since Hinata was known as that girl. That girl who usually stayed to herself didn't have any friends, spoke to herself, and was unattractive. The way their friendship formed should have been a beautiful story, and it was something Hinata truly wanted to believe but that was a lie. Well, that's what her mind had conjured up.

Sakura and Ino surely only wanted to use her to gain popularity, as if they needed it. Being pretty and outspoken was enough to draw the attention if any man or woman, but that wasn't enough. They used her, but what could she do? She was used to being that girl.

"I'm sorry, S-Sakura. W-What did you say?"

Hinata could feel her face darken. Why did she have to stutter in such a way? It was embarrassing. No one in her family stuttered, not even her grandparents, great-grands, and so on. So, why was she the only one to be cursed?

"I said I think Sai likes you," Sakura rolled on her stomach, resting her head on the comfy pillow. "You two will make a good couple."

Her upper lip twitched slightly, so she quickly turned around, fearing they would see her. Of course, they would comment on that. She was a loner and socially awkward, and so was Sai. So, it only made sense they would go out, right? She wasn't as pretty as them, so Sasuke or Kiba liking her would be impossible… right?

"I'm n-not, s-sure," She muttered under her breath. She directed her attention to one of her plants. "I-I should focus on my studies."

Sakura let out a loud groan. "You're going to be a cat lady, Hinata. Like one of those people who has fifty cats, never takes a bath, and only cares about her cats! Do you want to be a cat lady? You'll end up dying a virgin."

"B-being alone i-isn't so bad."

Being ostracized from society had already shown her she would most likely be alone for the rest of her life, and as much as she wanted to deny it, she knew it was true. There was a time she had a crush on Sasuke and who wouldn't? He was good-looking, athletic, smart, and totally not interested in her. Sakura was more his type, and she already knew everything she needed to know about Sasuke and his… appetite. After all, there were days he would stay in Sakura's room with Ino stopping by every so often. The noise didn't make it any better.

If she had known this, then maybe she wouldn't have taken up their offer to rent a house in Konoha. Unlike her, who was used to the silence, her two friends were loud, messy, and unorganized. Hinata always found herself cleaning up after them more times than she would like but she hated living in a messy place. Perhaps this phobia formed because that was all she did—clean.

Ino scoffed hearing that. "You're just saying that, but once you find someone you like you'll think differently. Plus, who wants to die a virgin?"

Hinata wanted to ask her if she would like someone like her but decided against it. There was a day she had accidentally let that thought slip and they threw her the most insincere compliments. They told her how wrong she was and that she was a fairly attractive girl.

"You're r-right," she said, turning around. "Um, I-I should start cleaning up m-my r-r-room."

"My room's a mess too," Ino laughed.

Sakura shot up; a wide grin appeared on her face. "Hinata, do you mind cleaning our rooms?" She clasped her hands together. "Promise we'll keep it clean this time," She winked at her.

There was a nod from Hinata which made Sakura clap her freshly manicured hands.

"Thanks love," she said, rolling off the bed. "Ino, we need to start getting ready for our trip."

"That's today?" Ino gasped. "Why didn't you say something?" She cried as she ran out of Hinata's bedroom.

"She can be such a scatterbrain," Sakura mumbled. "Thanks again, Hinata. We'll bring you something nice. Bye-bye," She quickly scurried out of the room, leaving Hinata's door open.

The smile Hinata wore slipped off her face. Sighing, she closed the door gently before jumping on her bed. She grabbed one of her favorite stuffed bears and held it against her chest. They hadn't mentioned anything about the trip until now. She wondered where they were going this time. Last time, it was Germany.

"I guess it's just us again," She whispered to the white bear. "Let's hurry up and clean, then we can watch a movie tonight."

The stuffed bear stared at her with its black beady eyes.

Hinata sighed dryly, placing the bear down beside her.

The stuffed bear fell over, brushing its white fur against Hinata's face. The place was clean, and she had done what she wanted to do, eat, and watch a movie with her favorite bear, Ko. She rolled on her back and stared into the darkness. The movie had ended two hours ago, and just when she figured she could sleep, she couldn't. Insomnia looks like it was winning this round… again. She knew she wasn't an attractive girl, but this lack of sleep was causing her to have major eyebags which would add to her ugliness. She cringed at the thought of it.

Rolling to her side, she planted her feet on the carpeted rug and stared outside the balcony. Life may have not been on her side, but at least she was able to convince Sakura and Ino to give her this room so her plants could get the sunlight they needed. They were going to object to it, but they quickly changed their mind. She tilted her head to the side, causing her long dark hair to fall over. She was surprised to see the house next door's lights on.

When did someone move there?

No one had lived there ever since that married couple left to go on a vacation in Suna. That was probably a few months ago.

The other thing about staying in this room meant it gave Hinata a whole lot of access to seeing everything in that house next door. She wasn't a nosey person, but at times she would occasionally peep to see what was happening in the house when the married people used to live there. She didn't get their names, but most likely her two friends would know. They knew every neighbor, the mailman, the garbage collector, everyone!

They used to tell her stories about who was cheating on who, who fucked the mailman, or whatever went on in this small community.

Just as Hinata was about to turn on the lamp on her nightstand, she spotted a young man standing in front of the window with his back turned. No curtains. No blinds. Just an open window with all to see from her room. She didn't realize she was staring so intensely until the blonde boy turned around. She quickly lay down, hoping he hadn't seen her. Not like it was obvious.

After a few minutes, she slowly got up, and to her relief, the blondie was gone.

The toothpaste was beginning to burn, so she quickly spat it out. She was right. Insomnia did win this round. She barely got any sleep, and the light from next door wasn't making it any better. Looks like Sakura was right about her needing to buy some curtains. She had the money to do it, but never felt a need to since it never bothered her when the other people lived there. It was probably because they rarely used that room.

A fresh scent embraced her as she made her way out of the bathroom. The entire house was clean, and it gleamed. Clean and pristine, just the way she liked it. She smiled. Now that those two were gone, she could enjoy the house to herself for the time being. No Sakura. No Ino. No fucking. Just pure quietness.

The floorboard of the stairs creaked as she made her way down. There weren't any classes today, so she had the whole day ahead of her. And as much as she tried to convince herself that she was supposed to be happy about it, she was not. Nineteen and no life. How wonderful.

Well, at least she'll be able to eat in peace without having to constantly worry about Sakura or Ino swiping her breakfast. She made her way to the kitchen and just when she was about to take out the stuff needed to make homemade pancakes, someone knocked on the front door.

She wasn't expecting anyone or anything in the mail, and usually, she would have gotten a notification if Sakura and Ino had ordered anything since they all shared the same delivery account.

She quickly went into the laundry room to grab one of her hoodies, which she had folded, to put on.

When she opened the front door, the cool breeze from outside brushed past her.

"Hinata, you know if we were in a scary movie, you would have been the first to get killed. Did you even check to see who it was first?"

Hinata's face turned a few shades of red because she knew he was right.

Kiba grinned. "Going to invite us in for some of your famous pancakes?"

She stared at the taller boy than the other boy behind him, Sasuke.

Sasuke didn't talk much. It was either a scoff, hn, or whatever noise he made as a form of communication, but somehow it still made the girls swoon over him, and to her embarrassment, it did the same to her. Yeah, he was quiet, but when it came to his appetite, he knew a lot of words then.

Kiba was loud. He, Sakura, and Ino got along quite well. Real well. If it wasn't Sasuke in the room, then it was Kiba. Being friends with two supermodels gave her all the tea she needed to know about who was packing and who was lacking.

She knew everything she needed to know about these two guys, and many more, because of her friends.

Hinata stepped to the side, allowing the guys to enter. She knew it was too good to be true that it was going to be a quiet place. Usually, when Ino and Sakura left out of the country Sasuke and Kiba, along with a few other friends, still came over which made her the host.

She always wondered how they knew her schedule.

They both made their way into the living room and made themselves at home. Hinata always wondered why they didn't move in. Half of their things were here, like their gaming system, clothes, shoes, hell, they even had their own bathing and drying-off towels with their names on them!

Without a word, she went back into the kitchen. It's a good thing she liked cooking.

"Hinata, I swear you should get a food truck or some shit like that. You'll make a lot of money," Kiba chattered. He was already on his fourth pancake, which meant he was stoned. Now seeing his eyes, she should have noticed how red they were.

"T-thank you," She muttered.

She'd briefly looked over at Sasuke, and his eyes were red too.

They had probably smoked some when she was in the kitchen.

"So, what you gonna do today?" Kiba asked. He was dumping a lot of syrup on another pancake.

"I'm n-not sure," She poked at the pancake on her plate.

Sasuke eyed her momentarily causing her to look away.

Kiba shook his head. "You need a life, Hinata. Ever since we met you all you do is stay home. You don't got no boyfriend?"

It almost felt like he was mocking her. Boyfriend? Her?

"No."

"Well, shit." Kiba laughed. "You need to find someone. Can't stay a virgin forever, you know."

Hinata wanted nothing more than to shrivel up. Kiba only found out she was a virgin when Ino brought it up.

"Need to get that experience," Kiba pointed out.

Yes, she was a virgin, but she did have some experience if you considered playing with yourself.

"Want me to set you up with somebody or you know, I can pop that cherry for you." Kiba laughed when he saw how red her face got. "Just let me know. You have my number so contact me if you ever change your mind." He shrugged nonchalantly.

When he first offered to pop her cherry, she thought he was joking like a typical jock. She wasn't attractive back then and she certainly wasn't now, but he offered it again. He'd even offered Sasuke to do it for her, and to her surprise the boy didn't object. He just looked at her up and down, and there even seemed to be a glint in his eyes hinting he was thinking about it.

It was a thought…

"No, t-thank you,"

"Well, you have my number when you change your mind," he said, standing up. "We have some classes today, so we'll hit you up later."

He always ended the conversation with that, but he never followed through.

"Thanks," Sasuke said.

Hinata nodded shyly.

Once they were gone, she was able to breathe and relax a little better. Sasuke and Kiba were hot, however, she couldn't mess with them. The only reason she was still a virgin was due to her insecurities. It's not like she was looking for her one true love to take it from her. She never believed in that… those fairytales or romance. In her household, romance didn't exist. Although her father was married, he openly had affairs with multiple women. That had been going on way before she was born, and her mother just took it. She didn't say anything. All she did was go into the living room, and do a few knitting until he was done. It seemed never to bother her and at a point in time, Hinata thought that was normal. Turns out that was a lie. But being raised in an environment like that contributed to this personality she'd formed.

Kiba, Sasuke, and a few other people ended up coming back that afternoon. They were rowdy while playing on the game in the living room all while she played hostess. Preparing dinner, and catering to their needs. It was tiring, but again she enjoyed cooking. Enjoyed playing the chef if it meant not socializing. She didn't know the people Kiba brought along and there always seemed to be a lot of them added each time.

"So, who's the fugly cooking in the kitchen?"

Hinata had heard that as clear as day despite the ongoing ruckus from the other people in the living room. She should have been used to the criticism, but it still stung. She made her way deeper into the kitchen trying to occupy herself with something that would keep her mind from thinking.

"Think her name is Hina or some shit like that," Someone replied. "You know fugly girls who can cook always makes the best wives."

There was a few laughter that erupted from the group.

"Nah, I think I'm good."

The night went on and finally everyone left, leaving the house in a complete mess! She didn't even have the strength to clean after cooking, but sleeping in a messy place would make her skin crawl. So, she went to work all while fighting the urge to cry.

Fugly? They weren't in grade school anymore, so why did those words hurt her so much?

The house was now plagued with darkness and Hinata didn't mind one bit. She enjoyed the darkness and easily maneuvered herself through the house. Dishes were washed. The house was clean. And she had taken a nice warm bath. Hopefully, the insomnia would be kind and allow her to get a good night's rest. The door creaked when she'd open it and just as she entered the room, her heart skipped a beat.

How did she forget? Someone had moved in next door last night and he was… fucking gorgeous. He was on Sasuke's level of handsome, probably even more handsome than Sasuke himself. That blonde hair which was the complete opposite of hers really made him stand out. She couldn't help but chew down on her bottom lip. He had that appearance that made him an easy pick in a crowded room. Even from here, she could spot the outline of his body… his body… A little blood oozed from her lip, draining down her chin.

He was naked.

Completely naked.

Everything was out in the open for her to see. His lean torso, his sculpted abs, and… there was a slight tingle down there. He was huge.

She quickly dropped to the floor when he looked into her room.

"Who stands naked in front of someone's room?" She muttered to herself.

She crawled on the floor and would occasionally look up to see if he was still there. He was, but now he was wearing long orange pants and that slightly disappointed her.

"I really need to get those curtains," She crawled onto her bed and quickly hid under the large comforter. "Like who does that?" She grumbled to herself.

Who does that?

Well, who does this?

Ever since that encounter, Hinata found herself sitting on the floor of her bedroom, in the darkness, watching the unknown boy next door. It was now day four of watching him. She wasn't one step closer to knowing his name or even welcoming him to the community, but she was always on time, watching him.

Insomnia probably got the best of him too because he always ended up going into that room at the same time she always woke up; 1 AM.

Her knees were pressed against her chest while she waited for him. It was 12:58 AM, meaning he would be there soon.

She knew this was giving peeping tom vibes, but in a way, he did start it.

On time, as usual, the room light turned on and there came the entertainer. That's what Hinata referred to him as since that's what he did. Entertained her.

A heat was brewing down there, and she knew it had been a while since she'd relieved herself, but there was no way on earth she was going to relieve herself to her next-door neighbor! He was handsome but handsome enough for her to throw her morals out the window. Maybe… after all, she was the one peeping on him.

Her voice caught in the back of her throat when he slid down his tight orange boxers. The sound of her heart pounding was loud enough for anyone to hear. There was no way he was real. He was just too perfect. She rubbed her thighs together when she saw him grab his dick. This wasn't new. This wasn't the first time she saw him masturbate. He had done it on day three. And she sat there, watching.

Hinata hugged her legs tightly, her eyes stared intently at the entertainer relieving himself. She wanted so desperately to touch herself, but she just couldn't bring herself to do it. She was already creepy, probably even creepier watching him. This would bring on another level of creepiness.

The way his face tightened sent her on edge and she knew he was about to climax. For a moment, she ran her finger against the seat of her pants but quickly pulled away when he'd cum.

"Curtains. I need to get curtains," she said to herself. "I'll get some purple curtains."
