The group turned to see a figure emerging from the darkness, a sinister smile playing on her lips. It was Chrysalis. Queen Chrysalis, queen of the changelings. Her dark green eyes gleamed with a dark power, and her presence exuded an aura of malevolence. ''It's so good to see you again, Amara. When I saw the signs, I knew it was you.'' Chrysalis hissed, her voice sharp and filled with such malice, it brought shivers down Starlight's spine. Amara's eyes seemed to widen with a mix of fear and anger at the sight of the channeling queen. But that wasn't what she was known for to Amara. No, she was her older sister. ''Chrysalis...why have you come here?'' she spat, her voice laced with a bitterness. Chrysalis chuckled, her voice dripping with wicked delight. ''Oh, my dear little sister. How could I resist the opportunity to witness your downfall firsthand, for the second time. To see you consumed by the darkness, to destroy these six little ponies all by yourself, to do the work for me! How could I not come? Especially when I heard of your murder of Twilight Sparkle. Starlight who had been quite, suddenly stepped forward, her own voice laced with determination. ''Chrysalis, this isn't the time for your twisted games. We're here to save Amara and stop the darkness from spreading all over Equestria. So stand aside.''

Chrysalis laughed again, a chilling sound that echoed through the forest. "Oh, how amusing. You actually believe you can save her? Foolish ponies. You have no idea what you're dealing with." Starlight's horn glowed brighter as she prepared to defend herself and her friends. "We may not know everything, but we know that friendship and love are stronger than any darkness. We won't let you stand in our way."

Chrysalis's eyes flickered with a mix of amusement and annoyance. "You think your friendship can stand against me? How adorable." With a quick, fluid motion, she extended her wings and launched herself at the group, her aim set on Starlight. But before she could reach her, a wall of magic appeared, halting Chrysalis in her tracks. To everyone's surprise, an aura of dark/vibrant purple light resembling a certain alicorn princesses unicorn magic appeared, seemingly the callperte that was holding back the channeling queen. ''It can't be.'' Starlight was whispering as her light colored eyes widen in shock and pure surprise. Princess Twilight Sparkle, former element of magic, emerged from the shadows, the dark green fire fading from every angle surrounding her body. With her regal presence commanding respect, her light violet eyes bore into Chrysalis with intensity, revealing a mix of determination and concern. ''Chrysallis, enough. Your vendetta against Amara comes to an end today. We won't let you bring any more of your darkness into our land.'' The channeling queen snarled, her wings fluttering with agitation. ''You think you can stop me? You! A foolish pony who not only has no power anymore, but isn't even a being in this realm anymore! Have you forgotten my sister is your murderer? And you speck of her like she hasn't done a thing? I don't understand why you ponies are willing to sacrifice everything for my pathetic sister.''

''You're wrong, Chrysallis. I may not be of this world anymore. But that does not mean I am powerless.'' Twilight's expression softened, her voice calm but resolute. ''Revenge and darkness will only consume your further, if you don't stop now. Don't you feel any shame for what you did to your sister all those centuries ago? If not for you, she wouldn't have become corrupted. So in a way, you are the true murderer.'' Chrysalis eyes narrowed at this, with an edge of bitter anger on her face. ''And what about me? What about the pain that was endorsed to me? What about all the love that was shown to my younger sister during our reign, no pony showed me what it truly means to be loved! Why should I be deined my revenge!'' Twilight stepped forward at this, her gaze unwavering, the horn from her magic flickering as if she almost was thinking about letting her spell lose. ''Maybe because revenge won't heal your heart, Chrysalis. Haven't you learned this by now? You should've known you were going to fail coming here, especially after what happened at my brother's wedding. Didn't you learn anything from Starlight?'' Twilight's eyes were on Starlight Glimmer now, sending a familiar chill to wash over the pink unicorn. ''You have a choice to make here. Continue down this destructive path, and take your revenge on your sister, or open yourself up to a better and brighter future, where you can help us save her.''

The black ghost of Amara watched the exchange silently, torn between her own desire for revenge and the glimmer of hope that Twilight had been offering to her older sister. Though a part of her could never seem to forgive her sister for what had happened to them all those centuries ago, a part of her was wishing her to reconsider. Behind the mask of darkness, her gaze shifted from Chrysalis and Starlight, uncertainty clouding her pitch black eyes. Finally, she found her voice again. ''What if redemption isn't possible for some pony like me? What if I'm too far gone?'' Starlight was the one to step forward at this, her voice gentle, yet firm. ''Amara, like I've been trying to to tell you. I've seen ponies change before, ponies who once stood in your hooves right now. I believe it's possible for you as well. But if you want it, you must believe it too. You have to choose to give up the darkness, and embrace the light inside you that has always been there. Just hidden.'' It didn't take long for Amara's once pitch black eyes to transform, flickering with the intensity of her new inner struggle to fight through the darkness. ''I want to believe...but it won't be easy. The darkness has consumed me for so long...'' Starlight smiled warmly as she extended her hoof towards Amara, who was now showing signs of her old visible form. ''We'll be there for you, every step of the way. together, we can help you to overcome that darkness.''

Amara hesitated for a moment, her eyes flickering between the path of revenge and the path of redemption. And then, with a deep breath, she reached out and took Starlight's hoof. The moment was met with a wave of relief and hope from the group. The path ahead would be challenging, but they were willing to face it together – united in their belief in the power of redemption and the strength of friendship.

''I want to thank you for everything you have done in trying to bring me justice, Starlight.''

''I am truly proud to have called you my student, but more proud to call you my friend.''

''Twilight? Is that you?'' Starlight was groggy, her eyes seeming to have trouble adjusting to the very bright atmosphere surrounding her. She didn't know where she was, or why, but if the blue hue and surrounding thick white balls of light were any indication, she was dead, well she wasn't sure she would argue. It took a bit longer than she'd like for her vision to adjust to the brightness, but once it did, she realized she was in a breathtaking realm unlike anything she had ever seen before. And she'd been invited to the Crystal Empire. The air seemed to shimmer with magic, as the ground beneath her hooves sparkled like a bed of stardust. The vibrant colors of the rainbow danced through the sky, their hues intertwining in a mesmerizing display. Ahead of her past the white, stood a majestic figure bathed in a radiant celestial glow. Twilight Sparkle. With her wings spread out as wide as they could, the cast of such warm and comforting light embraced Starlight at the very sight of her former mentor. ''Twilight? Why have you brought me here? Where is here?''

''Starlight, I wouldn't grant this title to just any pony. But you've proven you'll do an amazing job in my absence.'' Starlight gasped, suddenly feeling a surge of energy coursing through her entire body, building up from her hooves up to her neck, eventually making it up to her head, where her ears felt like they'd start ringing if it wasn't for the seer shock of watching Twilight, who had her eyes shut, as her magic encircled around her form...Starlight was blinded by a giant flash of white light, then everything went hazy. And there it was. Before her astonished eyes, Starlight's eyes were drawn to a translucent and ethereal sight. Wings. Unfurled from her sides, shimmering with a multitude of colors, colors mirroring the magical aura that now surrounded her. The transformation had begun : she was becoming an alicorn. The sensations overwhelmed her, mingling awe and uncertainty. As her body changed, her mind flooded with a torrent of knowledge and power. It was as if a thousand textbooks had been absorbed into her mind all at once. She could feel the harmony of the entire world, the interwoven tapestry of love and friendship that connected every pony. Finally, the transformation, completed, and Starlight was now a fully - fledged alicorn, her newfound wings strong and majestic. How she found herself floating above the ground effortlessly, once she reopened her eyes.

''Starlight Glimmer. I am so proud of you. You are now one of us - an alicorn, a symbol of the magic within you and your potential to spread harmony throughout Equestria. So now, embrace your new wings, and let the power of love and friendship guide you in your journey. I have the utmost trust in you.''

''But Twilight? I can't just replace you! I-I-could never-''

''Starlight. Don't think of it as replacing you. You've always had a strong destiny, just like a certain pony I used to know. This was always meant to be a part of the plan.''

''But a princess? What would I even be the princess of? I mean, I didn't do anything?''

''My dear Starlight, being a princess is not about what you have done, but about who you are and the potential you carry within you. You are a beacon of hope and inspiration, capable of bringing about positive change in the world. As an alicorn princess, you represent the virtues of friendship, love, and harmony, and you have the power to use your magic and wisdom to protect and guide those in need. You have already shown incredible growth and leadership, and now, as a princess, your influence will only magnify. You will be the princess of Transformation and Equality, embodying the idea that every pony has the ability to change for the better and that true harmony can only exist when all are treated with fairness and respect. Though my body might be gone, my time as the Princess of Friendship will never be over. I will be here, guiding ponies and reconnecting them with their loved ones and the friendships they've might while in the land of the world, while you will continue carrying on this important role and continue spreading friendship and love throughout Equestria from the land of the living.''

''But Twilight-''

''No buts, Starlight. I have complete faith in you and your abilities. You have proven time and time again that you are capable of great things. Now, it is time for you to embrace your destiny and step into the role that awaits you. Just as I once looked up to Princess Celestia, ponies will look up to you and find hope in your presence. You have the potential to make a profound impact on the world and I know you will succeed. Remember, you are never alone. Your friends, the magic of friendship, and the guidance of all the alicorns that came before us will be with you every step of the way. Embrace your new title, Princess Starlight Glimmer, and may you bring light and harmony wherever your wings may take you.''

As Starlight absorbed Twilight's words, she felt a sense of determination wash over her. While she still held uncertainty about her new role, she knew that she had been given a rare opportunity to make a difference and spread the magic of friendship. With newfound confidence, she spread her wings and took flight, the colors of her new alicorn form shining brightly. And as she soared through the skies of Equestria, she carried the hopes and dreams of ponies with her, ready to embark on her journey as the Princess of Transformation and Equality.
