A/N: Hello! :)

Here it is...the most requested one-shot that answers the question of what Meredith and Sadie did together in Europe...featuring another fun little confession.

This is really unlike anything I've written (I mean, I've written fluff and non-serious stuff before, but not quite like this) so I hope you still enjoy!

Um...Merry Gaymas, I suppose! :)

As for plans with this current series and others, as it's been a while:

- I plan to finish this by the end of the year

- I will be releasing a one-shot on Christmas Eve as a separate post

- And uh...guess what? I have more exams. I know you guys really want me to get going with Love again, and then I want to finish the Nerve Damage series off with Award (well, finish other than random one-shots, I imagine), and I wanna start a new little 10-chapters or so series, and I want to rewrite quite a bit of Organ Damage in my new writing style but...I don't know when I'm going to do any of that.

First is mocks, then coursework hand-in time, then my final exams. Then, I promise, I'll be all yours! Only have to wait um...6 months? In all seriousness, I will try my best to get some more stuff out next year, but you may have to deal with some hiatuses a bit longer :(

Also, my private messenging don't always seem to work, but I do receive your messages via an email! I just can't reply.

So Ace333, as you can tell I'm pretty booked up right now, but I may write your request as a one-shot here to make up for it! :)

Anyway, that was alot of writing so let's get to the one-shot! Enjoy! :)

"Tell me the stories."

She didn't look away from her book, but her interest did move to Derek. "What stories?"

"The ones you won't let Sadie tell me."

She smirked. "They're ancient history...humiliating and ridiculous."

"Ridiculous is a grown man telling another grown man to stay out of a woman's little-"

She gasped. "You did it?"

"I did." He confirmed. "Those exact words. I said it because...it was nice to see you sticking up for your sister; I did it for you."

She couldn't help the small smile that appeared on her face.

He sat up a little. "Now, you owe me-" He kissed her. "-a story."

"Okay. Fine." She agreed reluctantly. "But you can never tell anyone. Ever."

He couldn't help the beam that spread his lips at her agreement. He'd been dying to hear them since the day Sadie turned up.

"So...I guess opposed to a, you know, specific story, you want to know...about the other thing."

"The other thing?" He repeated intrigued.

"I went to Europe for the same reason many Americans go to Europe."

"To learn a foreign language?" He guessed, joking.

She smiled. "No, I could already speak 3 anyway."

"To eat snails and weird seafood in France?"

"No...not quite."

"Try real Italian pasta and pizza to see if it really is better than our food here and the Chicago deep-dish?"

Her smile expanded. "No...not that either. And you can stop guessing."

"I feel like I know what you're going to say."

"And how would you feel about that?" She asked with a tilted head, intrigued.

"Well I'd like you to confirm what you might or might not have done first."

"I..." She paused. "I was European in Europe."

"Right." He sighed. "Okay."

"Are you okay?" She asked, sitting up instantly. "Have I freaked you out?"

"So...women-" He prompted, ignoring her question. He had asked, so he knew he had to just deal with the consequences of his curiosity.

"No. Not women. I mean- obviously, women are great but-" She paused. "Men."

"But in Europe-" He prompted.

"I tried a lot of things. Including...women."

"Including Sadie?" He couldn't help but ask.

Meredith swallowed. "Including Sadie."

"Other women too?"

"I wanted to see if...you know- whether things would be different with someone else, so I tried it once."

"Was it different?"

"I..." She sighed. "It was."

"And you liked it?" He guessed from her response.

"I would say...I can be attracted to both men, and women. But I have a...preference for men."

"Right."

"Are you sure you're okay? Are you going to break up with me? I promise I love you, and I promise I'm not a lesbian...like- quarter of a lesbian, you know?"

"I'm fine."

"Are you sure?"

"I...am the opposite, for obvious reasons."

"Opposite of what? Sure? Okay?" She asked, feeling her heart rate rise. What had she just done to her relationship?

"You said you had a preference for men-" He started, hoping she could catch onto what he meant without him having to say everything in his head.

"And you're-" She paused.

Holy crap.

"Derek!" She squealed. "No. No freaking way. No. Freaking. Way. Derek. Shepherd!"

"What?" He chuckled. "You can't judge."

"You've done it? With a man?"

"A few times."

"A. Few. Times? No. No- seriously?"

"Mmm." He agreed. "No jokes here."

"You're...gay?"

"Well...no. If we were going by that logic, you'd be a lesbian, right?"

"Yeah, right. Good point. But...I mean- who did you do it with? Was he gay as well?"

"Well, I'd hope not. Otherwise he'd have to be an ultra horrific friend to sleep with my female wife."

"No." She breathed. She couldn't believe that.

He smirked. "Yep."

"Mark."

"That'd be the one. I'd be rather concerned if another one of my friends had slept with Addie."

"Like...Mark-Mark?" She uttered, still in disbelief. "Mark Sloan?"

"I think I discovered he loved doing it so much that he'd do it with anyone." He said with a quick chuckle. "Including men, apparently."

"But you...I mean- obviously you're with me and-"

"I love you, Mer. I love you as a person, and I love your...female-ness." He reassured her, knowing what her first thought was. "You are the best partner I've ever had and you...you make me the happiest anyone has ever made me, in the bedroom and out."

She smiled, just a little.

"Did I freak you out too much?"

"No. Not at all." Her smile became a smirk. "I was just wondering if you wanted me to...you know, make you happy now?"

"In the bedroom or out?" He asked, teasing her.

She sat up, and peeled her t-shirt off. "Imma say...inside the bedroom. That's my favourite."

"Mmm. Mine too." He agreed.

"As long as you promise not to be thinking about men-" Meredith said, just as Derek requested, "As long as you promise not to be thinking about women-"

"Derek!" She chided, just as Derek called, "Meredith!"

"I'm kidding. Promise." Derek reassured her.

"Me too." She agreed, only for her expression to change. "Unless..."

His head tilted. "Unless what?"
