Walking down a busy sidewalk, Grant was left to his own devices. It wasn't long since Rex had reversed time. However unlike any of the others, the soldier experienced something… different.
"Rewind the clock and take be back to before!"
As soon as the Zi-O II Ridewatch glowed, Geiz Revive covered his eyes to protect himself from the harsh light. When he could see again, everyone was gone while he was left on his own. Confused, the soldier disengaged his transformation and quickly looked around his current area.
He soon got a call on his phone, likely the commander or Goofy trying to get a hold of him. Not wanting his intentions known, he decided to answer it.
"Hello?"
"Corpral, where are you? We need to discuss something." he said.
That quickly caught the solider off guard. Sora was dead, Donald and Jiminy were back in 2009-B, and Goofy was looking over him. How did all of that change?
He then looked towards his phone and saw that it was the exact time he would have arrived back in Hagukumi to try and kill the young king. How did-
"The watch… he was able to revert the day back to what it was before." He realized as he looked towards the Showa Ridewatch.
"Huh? What was that?" Isaiah asked.
"Oh, it's nothing corporal. I'll just look for Weiss since she's currently studying with Shirai, Kagayaku, and Yakushiji." He lied before hanging up, allowing him to asses his new situation.
As he aimlessly walked through the streets, Grant recalled the information he learned of Kamen Rider Showa, real name Shinichi Sanban. It was a technique known as Return to the Past, which allowed Showa to revert time back to a specific point in time. Could it be that Rex had used that technique with the Zi-O II Ridewatch?
After all, it wouldn't be out of the ordinary for someone with the title of King of Time to have this sort of power.
"You do realize what you are about to do, right?" a voice questioned him, getting his attention as the familiar sound of time stopping rang out and froze the area.
The soldier quickly turned around and saw Adam standing there with a judgmental look.
"What are you trying to pull, Quartzer." The soldier snarled.
"I see that your new power has shown it's chops against our king." The scout noted, "But are you willing to pay the price?"
Grant was confused until he noticed something on his left arm, what looked to be burn marks.
"While Geiz Revive is indeed immense, but like Zi-O's current usage of Chrono Energy, it will also come with an equal amount of risk." he chuckled.
"Risk?"
"The power of ice and fire will consume you if you use one side too much, and prolonged usage of it will eventually break your body down." The scout noted, "They stem from the power your Phantoms can bring. Using both of their powers at once will eventually kill you and free them from their prison."
Grant was surprised to hear this, "Phantoms? I thought-"
"Eveyone only has one Phantom? That's true, but there's a rare few people who have more than one." Adam said with a smirk, "I should know, I'm just like you."
The soldier was surprised to see this until he heard the hiss of two creatures. He then noticed the auras of two creatures briefly by the scout's side, one being a large metallic monitor lizard-like monster and the other a large rooster-like monster.
"However, guys like us won't last long when we tap into the power of our inner darkness." Adam chuckled, "You sure you want to exhaust yourself this early?"
"I came to this era to defeat Zi-O, not you." Grant snarled.
"Are you sure?" the scout questioned him, walking around the boy, "Because it looks to me that you're blaming yourself for something out of your control."
Grant snarled and grabbed the scout by the collar, "Don't you patronize me!" he roared, the area around them beginning to feel ice cold.
"Isn't that why you're lashing out at your so-called friend?" Adam taunted him, "Why else would you be acting this way if your friend did not do something to you to act like this."
The soldier glared at the scout as memories of seeing Weiss and Sora's death flash through his mind. Maybe there was some truth in Adam's words? Maybe he's using Rex as a scapegoat for his own failure to save them?
Regardless, he shook off the rage and sighed. "My mission is to defeat Zi-O. Nothing more and nothing less." Grant snarled as he walked away.
Adam merely smiled; he had played his role very well. Now there was some extra dissention amongst the ranks of their enemies. He did hope that Grant did survive however; after all, he wanted to see just how strong the soldier was compared to his father.

/CHANGE THE NEW WORLD x3/
The opening starts with a showcase of the various Heisei Riders from the past, spanning all the way from Kuuga until Zi-O, before all of a sudden several Ridewatches appear and create both the Future Riders and Forgotten Riders before the title appears

It soon transitions to Team Zi-O on a small hill alone, each one looking at their respective Ridewatces as Grant grips the Geiz Ridewatch, Weiss held the Tsukuyomi Ridewatch delicately, and both Rex and Henrietta sat back to back as the young king looked towards the Zi-O Ridewatch before it briefly glitched into an Oma Zi-O-based Ridewatch.
/Kitto dareka no tame datte itsukaraka jibun no tame ni kawatteku
Kodoku wo sute kibou yume daite/
Afterwards, it jumps to Isaiah standing alone as two figures appeared behind him, namely Zero and Weiss as the pair turn to each other while their auras showcased the darkness and light within their hearts. However within Zero's dark aura, the eyes of Dark Decade soon appeared.

Hikari wo kono te ni/
It then jumps to Conquete standing alone alongside Adam and a host of Another Riders and Heartless behind them with the shadow of one mysterious Rider. Once Conquete steps, he soon takes out the Woz MiRidewatch while Rex grips his heart as he looks around to see Grant and Dark Decade preparing to transform as well. Suddenly, the music briefly stops as Rex sees the Dark Ziku Driver form around him, the darkness taking over before he becomes the Silver-haired Demon.
/INTERLUDE/
Rex: "Henshin…"
/Girigiri ni STAY shite sakebe tsugi no mirai kitai shitai/
Once their drivers activated, the music resumes as we soon cut to a revolving scene where a dark shadow resembling Zi-O at Woz and Dark Decade, clawing at the latter before throwing the other by his leg behind him. This forced Geiz to quickly evolve into Kamen Rider Geiz Revive and clash with Feral Zi-O. Meanwhile, Kamen Rider Tsukuyomi and Henrietta are teaming up as Kamen Rider Zamonas charges at the girls. With a smile, both Tsukuyomi and Henrietta prepare a double attack as a mysterious power begins to emanate from the purple-haired girl.
/Girigiri ni FLY AGAIN iku zo tsukame SMILE! SMILE! SMILE!/
Next was a shot of Sora, Donald, and Goofy fighting against many of the Heartless. Donald was using his Wizard Staff while Goofy unleashed a Watermelon Sparking version of his Goofy Tornado. When they are surrounded, Sora transforms into the Mystic Link Drive, with the Siege and Bandit Link Drives appearing alongside him as projections before unleashing a powerful burst of magic to create a new Link Drives alongside the Rider Link Drive.

Sono tame ni wa nani wo sutete mo ii sa/
As the battle is happening, we see some of Rex and Henrietta's classmates watching the battle unfold alongside some of the legendary Riders and Future Riders, who are fighting against several of the Heartless.
/Higashi kara nishi e noboru taiyou ga kyou mo kimi wo terasu kara/
It soon changes to show Dark Decade on his own watching the battle as the window next to him showed Zero slamming his fist on it, crying out for help.
/Woah x3 CHANGE THE NEW WORLD/
It soon cuts to Henrietta and Weiss readying themselves for battle alongside Isaiah, Donald, and Goofy, a strange aura starting to glow from them

Then it jumps to show Zi-O and Geiz staring each other down before they charge at each other, the final shot zooming back to show the after images of the Manticore Phantom and both the Drake and Wyvern Phantoms looming in the background.
CHAPTER 37: MUKANJYO 2068
As Isaiah walked through the town, there was a heavy air looming over his thoughts. After all, he had just learned something massive just earlier.
"Gawrsh, are you sure about this?" Goofy, who offered to go with the commander.
"I am very sure, Goofy." Isaiah said, "I know that these two might help us in these current times."
They soon reached a house where, after the door opens, the pair was soon met by someone. Namely a man around his twenties, almost a year or two older than Rex and company, with white spiky hair, dark blue eyes, and an ensemble consisting of a long black coat, a red shirt that had gold vine-like patterns on the front, fancy black pants with similar lines on the sides of the legs, and finally a pair of red dress shoes.
"Dammit, Squira. You just had to let your own desires get in the way." The young man snarled as he opened the door before looking to find the commander and the dog knight at the door front. "Oh, commander Isaiah! I didn't expect to see you here." The young man hastily greeted, "I'm sorry, you caught me at a bad time."
"Clearly…" Isaiah chuckled, "I am sorry to pop in unannounced, Captain Noah."
This surprised the dog knight before he saw another person walk down… namely a silver and gray version of the standard Ziku Trooper.
"Captain Noah, I heard the commotion. What's the-" As if a switch was pulled, both the Ziku Trooper and Goofy armed themselves for battle.
"Your contact is in kahoots with the demon king?!" Goofy gasped.
"What on Earth is a member of the Disney Castle Royal Guard doing in Kamen Rider no Sekai?" the Ziku Trooper gasped.
"Please don't make another fuss, you're already on thin ice as is." Noah snarled.
"Goofy, it's alright. I can handle this." Isaiah reassured the dog knight.
Conflicted, the two stepped down as Noah let the commander and the dog knight in. After they sat down, the commander decided to take his time to introduce the pair.
"Goofy, this is Commander Noah Bright." he started, "He's a member of the Seraphim Watch, a group of spies working for the resistance. It's how we were able to get a hold of those four Ziku Drivers."
"I can assume that you two wouldn't be visiting without a good reason."
"I am truly sorry for coming in un-announced, but I believe we have a problem." Isaiah said, "The Quartzers have made their move and placed a substantial amount of darkness within Rex Wells' body. The longer we dilly-dally, the less time the prince has before his inner phantom and the darkness takes him over."
"That's not all. There's a lot of mystery surrounding the day that Rex and Wally lost their parents." Goofy added.
Noah was, understandably, confused. "Who?"
"Wally Kakogawa, the man who was supposed to become Zi-O before my Overlord's survival overwrote the timeline." Isaiah revealed to the pair.
The Guardian Ziku Trooper and Noah were shocked, something Isaiah was counting on.
"You get it know?" he said, "You might want to sit down for this one… this is going to take a while."
MEANWHILE…
Sora was left completely in shock as he looked at the date on the newspaper.
'No way, how did I get blasted seven years into the future?' he thought.
After putting the newspaper away, the Keyblade wielder began looking around. He needed to keep an eye on who he would meet, since there was no telling what kind of changes he would make while in this time period.
'You have to be kidding me…' he took note in his mind, 'But, I need to find a way back to 2019. We still have Another Zi-O to deal with.'
As he mulled over his thoughts, he heard a bunch of people laughing. He soon took note of the laugh until he noticed a couple of delinquents.
"Uh, can I help you guys?" Sora asked them.
"Heh, it's a little too early for Halloween kid!" one of the delinquents chuckled.
"Maybe he's a lost cosplayer on his way to the nearest convention." Another delinquent pointed and laughed.
"Think he's got some cash on him?" the third of the group noted, "Guys like that are always loaded when it comes to dumbass merch like that."
The other two delinquents soon smirked and quickly turned towards Sora like a wounded gazelle. Too bad for them…
*BOOM! POW! WHACK!*
Sora was far from the type to be mugged so easily. After quickly subduing the three delinquents without needing his Keyblade, Sora continued on as he tried to find a way back to the present.
'Hmm… I wonder if there's any mages in the world?' he pondered, 'Maybe I can get in contact with one of the swordsmen active at this time?'
Of course, it was a possibility. After all, the swordsmen under the Sword of Logos have multiple shelves of books at their disposal. Surely there could be a book that could contain a way back to the present. There's also the possibility of heading to Fuuto and asking the Phillip of this timeline on how to get to the present.
"Hey, kid! You lost or something?"
The Keyblade wielder was surprised, he recognized that voice before. When he turned around, there were both Kanae and Wally, a bit younger than he remembered, but it was still them.
Back in 2019, Rex and Wally were on lying on the ground, panting heavily in exhaustion.
"Damn… that was a tough fight…" Rex sighed.
"You… you really improved… since we fought all those years ago…" Wally begrudgingly agreed.
Rex scoffed, "Dude… I'm sure that you and Tora-senpai did a hell of a lot more training while I was away."
The two soon laughed heartily, the first time that the young king had ever seen the bully, or as he supposed former bully, so happy before. Meanwhile, Wally felt surprised. He actually missed sparring with the young king. As the two got up, the former bully felt a weight lifted off his shoulders.
'I suppose what people say about talking through fighting or dueling actually worked.' He thought to himself.
Suddenly, Rex collapsed onto his knees in pain, the cracks reappearing on his body. Worried, Henrietta and Ikki helped him onto a seat.
"What's wrong?" The purple-haired girl asked, worried about her boyfriend.
"Crap, I think that Manticore's rampage has gotten worse." Vice gasped, "I think I should go back in there and tame that cat." He snarled.
"Are you sure? You're not exactly a magician." Rex said out of worry for his juniors.
"Aw, that's kind of cute."
Don't ruin the tense moment, dumbass.
"Alright, fine." Vice grumbled before looking towards Zi-O, "Don't worry, kiddo. I won't do too much damage to you."
He then flew within the young king's heart; and right back into the chaos of Headquarters.
The demon soon returned to the chaos raging on within Headquarters as the enraged Manticore Phantom attacked the area.
"Alright, pussycat! Let's see you take on a superior demon like me!" he called out to the Phantom, getting it's attention.
He soon took out a large yellow and blue hammer and leaped towards the Phantom, bashing it on the head. When the monster tried to swat the inner demon away, Vice quickly dodged it and quickly spun around, striking the Phantom repetitively before he landed.
The Manticore Phantom grew angry and quickly fired several poisonous quills from it's chest plate. Luckily, the inner demon spotted a nearby table and dove towards it, the quills hitting the wood. Vice laughed before he knocked the table towards the inner Phantom with his hammer, with the Phantom destroying it with one swipe.
"Come on kitty, is that the best you got?" Vice taunted him before he tapped his bottom of the weapons' handle onto his palm, activating it.
LET'S ITADAKI!
When the inner Phantom went for two large swings of it's darkness-ridden claws, the inner demon dodged the first and parried the second with his hammer, charging the weapon up with the resulting attack instead.
NATURE! ITADAKI!
Now charged up with dark energy, he leaped into the air and came down with a mighty slam of his hammer, creating earthquakes all across the battlefield to damage the inner Phantom.
ELEMENT-IN OSUTODERU CRASH!
This sent the monster reeling in pain as it staggered away from Vice, shaking off the earthquake before it roared and caused the whole field to burst into flames. Vice quickly yelped in pain as he tried to find a place for himself to rest.
"YEOWCH! Hey, watch the flames!" the inner demon complained as the Manticore Phantom once more lunged for Vice.
Vice hastily dove for another spot of currently burning cover as he took a deep breath.
'Alright, Vice. Focus.' He thought, 'Just gotta watch for the pattern and parry when he tries that double dark slash.'
That was when he felt the place begin to shake, darkness beginning to move through the place.
"Yeah, that wasn't good was it?"
No, no it wasn't. What made you think otherwise?
Back in the real world, Rex roared into the sky before the darkness soon caused his Ziku Driver to manifest, however the right side of the belt now had a new lion-like Ridewatch attached to it alongside it's normally silver shell being a sickly purple. Then, he briefly fell to his knees as he tried to catch his breath.
"H-Hey, king-boy? Are you okay?" he asked before seeing the young king's hair turn silver.
Without saying a word, Rex, or rather the Silver-haired Demon, removed the Zi-O Ridewatch from it's Watch Holder and activated it.
ZI-O!
Afterwards, he placed the watch into the Driver and allowed for a large gate to appear behind him, the doors bearing the marks of a beast marked it alongside some katakana.
"Looks like we're in for a fight…" Wally said as he and Ikki readied their Drivers.
Meanwhile, the Silver-haired Demon merely pointed forward before snapping his fingers, flipping his hand up as he prepared to transform.
"Henshin…"
Once the gate opened, Manticore flew out, roaring with the katakana before merging with the young king, creating a monstrous version of Zi-O with the left shoulderpad and glove now had a bat's face on it with what looked to be retractable arm blades in the shape of bat wings, while the right now sported a scorpion's face with a long scorpion tail-like whip wrapping around the boy's arm. His chestplate was spiked, almost like that of a hedgehog, head included, before finally the helmet was very much lion-like with the four clock hands were now pointing at 6 o clock, almost making them resemble the tusks of a sabertooth tiger when paired with the lion-themed helmet as the katakana appeared on his face.
PRIMAL TIME... CHRONIC! (DARK) SARDONIC! (ANOTHER) DEMONIC! (HEARTLESS) KAMEN! (RIDER!) FERAL ZI-O!
The others stepped away in fear, confused at the appearance of this new form. There was something not right with this transformation.
"R-Rexy?" Henrietta asked, feeling scared at the look Feral Zi-O was giving.
The trio quickly got up and prepared themselves for a fight. Feral Zi-O tilted his head and slowly entered a fighting stance.
"Henrietta, what should we do?" Wally questioned the purple-haired girl.
"We need to get close and try and remove the Zi-O watch from his belt." She said, the two sides slowly but surely circling each other, "After that? Well… hopefully we can get through to him."
The two nodded and quickly activated their transformation devices.
ZI-O…
REX!
"Henshin!"
ANOTHER TIME! ZI-O…
KAMEN RI~DER~! RE~VI! VICE! RE~VI~CE!
As Another Zi-O and Revi's transformations finished, Wally couldn't help but feel a sense of déjà vu. His mind began to wander back to his first encounter with the Silver-haired Demon. But back then, neither he nor Rex could transform, more than likely things were going to be much harder than his previous encounter even with the extra help in Henrietta and Revi.
Feral Zi-O soon snarled at them as he began to slowly circle the trio, brandishing the arm blades on his right to the others' caution. Unusually, he hasn't spoken since he transformed. They didn't know if the Silver-haired Demon had taken over once again, or something worse has been unleashed.
Then, he quickly leaped into the air and swung his arm blades towards the pair, forcing them to block the incoming slash. Afterwards, Feral Zi-O quickly fired out the scorpion tail towards Another Zi-O, pulling him back into an uppercut that caused him to cough up blood that briefly stained the glass portion of his helmet.
"Damn, that smarts…" he growled before staggering back to his feet.
Feral Zi-O then snarled at the Riders, once more acting like a wild animal before he dealt a running tackle into Another Zi-O and began slashing at him with his arm blade. The false clock Rider tried his best to block the assault before Revi quickly knocked the feral clock Rider off of him. Afterwards, the purple haired girl got him back up and applied Cure to him.
"I didn't think that king-boy would become even more of a pain than he normally was, but I guess he found a way." Another Zi-O grumbled before he summoned his twin swords, "But I know one thing…"
This seemed to come off as a challenge to the feral clock Rider who snarled and performed a leaping swing of his arm blades. The false clock Rider anticipated this and quickly blocked it with his blades, smirking as he did so.
"It just means that he'll be a lot more predictable with his attacks." Another Zi-O declared as he delivered a punt to Feral Zi-O's stomach, aiming specifically for the Ziku Driver to try and lodge the Feral Zi-O Ridewatch out of the device. The sparks caused by the minor feedback made the feral clock Rider reel back in pain.
IN 2016…
Sora was slightly wary of the bully, but he knew that this was way before he became an Another Rider.
"Hey, porcupine hair. You doing alright?" the past Wally asked, "You look like you saw a ghost."
"I guess…" he said, looking around with confusion. "A-Anyways, I'm kind of new here." He had to lie, since he didn't know how much of this timeline he might accidentally change.
"Looks like it with that kind of outfit." Wally pointed out, which made Kanae jab her shoulder into the bully's side, "O-Ow, hey!"
"Be nice!" she snarled, making Wally roll his eyes before she briefly bowed, "I'm sorry about Kyo-Hyo, he's kind of abrasive." She apologized, "My name is Kanae Aira. What's yours?"
"Sora…" the Keyblade wielder hesitantly answered before the trio began to walk through the town.
"So Sora-san, what brings you to Hagukumi?" she asked him.
"If I'm going to be honest? I'm kind of stuck here." Sora admitted, which made the past Wally wince.
"Let me guess, wrong bus?" he asked him, to which the Keyblade wielder nodded, "That's rough, buddy."
"You have no idea…" Sora muttered under his breath before the three spotted some thugs running in fear, something that made Wally freeze up slightly.
"AAAAHHH! SPARE ME!" they heard before they spotted a thug desperately trying his best to cling to a wall and avoid whoever was dragging him back into the alleyway.
"Abandon him! He's a lost cause!" the other thugs shouted as they picked up their injured and flee.
"Wait, come back!" the fearful thug pleaded.
"I'm sorry, we can't help you! Sorry!" the head thug was forced to say before they ran in fear, leaving the fearful thug to look on in fear.
"No, please! DOOOONNN'TTTT!" he then cried out to his unknown attacker before he was dragged back into the alley.
The last thing they heard amidst the sounds of the thug's beatdown was him screaming for his mother. Sora was left horrified and, judging from the confused and scared look Kanae had as well as the terrified expression that Wally had, he wasn't alone.
"Who… who was that?" he asked the two.
"That? That just means that we should probably go." Wally answered as he dragged the two away.
Meanwhile with Grant, he was leaning on a rail, conflicted about the journey he was on now. He had now completed the mysterious Ridewatch that he had found from his father. He was now very close to stopping Oma Zi-O, all he has to do now is kill Rex and it's all over.
Kill Rex…
That was something that he had been thinking about since losing Weiss and Sora. Regardless of what would happen, he and the commander would be returning to a very different 2068, and potentially without his best friend. He even began to worry about the last family member he had left, his little sister Gia. He began to wonder what Gia had been doing since he left 2068-B.
Was she doing alright? Was she safe?
As he pondered this, the soldier then recalled the mission that pushed him into jumping back in time to stop Another Zi-O...
FLASHBACK…
It was a warzone out there, the resistance working hard to attack the demon king's forces. Weiss quickly fired off several blasts from her small pistol.
"Everyone, hold your ground!" she called out.
"Defend this spot until the main troops have withdrawn!" a soldier with sholder-length dark hair and green eyes called out while firing several shots from his machine gun towards several Ziku Troopers, who began falling like flies.
Conquete, angered by this, turned towards the troopers that under his roof.
"Don't let up! They'll fall eventually!" the conqueror shouted while he spotted Guerre and Famine cutting through the remaining resistance members.
"Cosmo Thundaga!"
The Horsewoman lifted her hand into the air and fired down a bolt of electricity to destroy one of the Time Mazines coming for them. All the while, Dark Vice leaped in and began slashing through the resistance's forces with reckless abandon.
"This is way too much fun!" he laughed.
As the Quartzers and the Chrono Horsemen clashed against the resistance, there were another group fighting the resistance on the demon king's behalf.
"Heh, to think that these fools thought they had the jump on us." A wolf-like creature with golden fur and red eyes, clad in a set of jade green samurai-styled armor chuckled as he and Dark Vice took down a squadron of resistance troopers.
"I see that you and the Chrono Vanguard have chosen to join us, Yamataro." An arriving Zero chuckled.
"What can I say? We live to serve our queen, just as you Horsemen serve the king." The wolf-like creature, Yamataro, answered with a brief bow before the two turned their attention towards an incoming Time Maizne.
While his underlings fought the grunts of the resistance, Lord Vortigern was effortlessly letting out blasts of energy from his palms to push the resistance back while his wife kept him safe as she swung her staff and took down the troopers.
"Tsk, to think they stood a chance my love." Orochu chuckled with a hint of bloodlust in it.
"Indeed, and to think they chose this day to assault us" he snarled, "Especially after what they took from us. They do not even deserve me letting loose my full power."
When several soldiers squared up towards the demon queen, Orochi merely snapped her fingers to call upon several of her Bloody Beauties to quickly attack them. She then spotted a Time Mazine coming for her and thusly prompted her to activate her Ridewatch.
END TIME!
She then spun her staff around and slammed the pommel down, creating several projections of snakes to appear and clamp their jaws down on the Time Mazine and the other two that were flying with it, holding it in place as Orochi leaped into the air and began to fly in and destroy the Time Mazines in a row with a spinning drill kick.
OROCHI HISSATSU GEKI!
Satisfied with the destruction her wife was causing, Lord Vortigern turned towards the squadron that Weiss and Grant were leading. With a confident smirk, the demon king snapped his fingers and called on Dragredder, WizarDragon, as well as Dragon Wonder and a large castle-like dragon to come down and let loose several stream of flames to incinerate the squadron. The soldier and the resistance fighter began to run for cover while one soldier quickly fired off some lucky shots at the demon king, causing a brief scrape to form on his face that quickly healed thanks to Lord Vortigern's passive use of Time Reversal.
A confused Geiz looked on in shock, "Captain, you hit him…" he muttered towards the solder.
"Geiz, you and Weiss need to get the soldiers out of here. Now!" he snarled.
"But Captain Loire! What a-"
"Tsk, fine. You wish to face me? Then so be it." The demon king snarled as he leaped towards the man with the machine gun, cutting off Geiz's concern as he quickly fled with Weiss and the others.
Captain Loire tried to smack the demon king with his gun, but Lord Vortigern merely grabbed the weapon and destroyed it with one hand.
"Pitiful." He snarled as punched a hole into the captain, making Geiz cry out in horror while Weiss pulled him back. After the captain fell in battle, the demon king then lifted his hand into the air as he spotted the aged warrior with gray hair arrive.
"Wait! Don't!" a terrified Geiz called out but he was too late. The warrior and his troops soon readied fire at the demon king.
"My fangs." The demon king called out, prompting Zero, Conquete, Guerre, Famine, Dark Vice, Adam, Yamataro, and several others to arrive and bow before the demon king, "Send the troops home and make sure my love returns safely. I shall finish this fight myself."
"Yes, my liege!" the group known as the fangs affirmed before they used a time portal to teleport the remaining Ziku Troopers as well as Lady Camilla to safety; the demon queen in particular merely giving a nod before she was warped away.
Soon, Lord Vortigern snarled as the Oma Zi-O Driver materialized around his waist.
"Henshin…"
SHUKUFUKU NO TOKI! SAIKO! SAIZEN! SAIDAI! SAIKYO-OH! OMA ZI-O…!
"Attack!" the aged warrior with grey hair shouted before the gunshots rang out.
With a scoff, Oma Zi-O created a barrier several feet before himself, rendering their shots useless. Then the Time Mazines transformed into their battle modes and began trudging towards the demon king Rider.
"Predictable." He chuckled as shook his head.
When one of the Time Mazines went to punch him, the demon king Rider lifted his hand, somehow catching the mecha's fist before flinging it right at another Time Mazine before waving his arm, causing the projectiles to be redirected at the attackers, killing them. With his right hand, he stopped all of time itself.
"Ha! Do you possibly think you can defeat me?" he questioned before laughing for a bit, "You can do no such thing! You know why?" He then brought his hand to his chest to cause a burst of energy to disintegrate nearly everything in his path.
Geiz and Weiss saw the wave of destruction coming towards them and immediately jumped into a nearby bunker to avoid the damage. The rest of their troops however were not so lucky as they were quickly disintegrated into nothing but dust.
"Because no matter what you can do, your fate has already been written in the annals of history!" Oma Zi-O declared with certainty before his laugh began to echo in the soldier's mind.
As the soldier clenched his fist at the memory of Oma Zi-O's laughter, he noticed Miharu rushing to him. The future Rider looked confused, but also at the same time a bit relieved.
"Glad to finally found you." The time traveller called out, "I need to talk to you about something."
"What? Is it about Zi-O?" the soldier questioned him.
Miharu was surprised, "How exactly did you know that?"
Grant growled, "You already know why…" he snarled as he looked away.
The two remained silent as the time traveller crossed his arms, "You know that what you're doing is wrong. Meddling in the affairs of the past."
"Your point is?" Grant questioned him, "This was something I accepted when I first chose to go back. I know what I'm doing is wrong. That potentially the time stream could end in a single instance." He then looked down, "But it was like you said, what we're doing is almost no different from the Another Riders. But…" he began to clench his fists.
"But what? All this time travelling has done nothing but destroy the timestream."
"And you think just putting us back will simply fix your so-called problem?" Grant snapped at Miharu, stopping the time traveller, "What's done is done! The eras have already been altered; the Rider Links have been forged!"
The time traveler was left aghast.
"The Links…" Miharu stepped back in shock, "You… you all have found the Rider Links? I… I thought they were just a myth."
"Well, do you call these myths?" the soldier questioned him before showing off the Wizard Ring, the Ghost Eyecon, the Quiz Pendant, and the Drive Shift Car.
Miharu was left completely surprised by the Links that Grant had in hand before he put them away.
Grant scoffed before walking past the time traveller, "If you want me to go back, then I got bad news for you." He then gave a glare to Miharu, "If the eras choose to become my enemy, then I'll fight like I always have."
Back in 2009…
After rounding a corner, Sora and Kanae were left conflicted by what they had just witnessed. In spite of this, they began to wonder why the bully was scared.
"Kyo-hyo? What was that?" the martial artist questioned Wally, who had to catch his breath, "What was attacking those people?"
"It's not what attacked them, it's who attacked them." The bully clarified, "We nearly stepped into the territory of one of the most feared delinquents in the city."
"The Silver-haired Demon?" Sora realized, recalling what Isaiah had talked to him and the others about Rex's dark side, "I mean, I'm not from here and even I've heard of him."
"Yeah, so far he's been ruling that part of Hagukumi for months now." Wally recalled, "I recently had an encounter with him and yeah… when people say that he's strong, they weren't joking." He muttered in fear.
"What happened?" Sora asked.
"Simply put, I tried to challenge him to a fight to try and bring him back to the dojo." The bully explained, "However, what I thought was another mostly even fight turned into a one-sided slaughter."
"Wow…" The Keyblade wielder said before an idea came to his mind, "Well, why don't I face him?"
The bully suddenly looked at Sora as if he had grown a second head, as did Kanae.
"Okay new kid, I'm sure you probably missed what I just said. So let me re-iterate." Wally snapped, "The Silver-haired Demon is way too powerful! He's a monster!"
"But you said you wanted to bring him back to the dojo. So… doesn't that mean that he used to be a friend of yours?" Sora argued.
The bully flinched, while Kanae looked towards the Keyblade wielder with a tired sigh, "Are you sure about this Sora-san? I mean, you just got here. Why risk fighting a dangerous delinquent like him?"
"Because I can tell that Wally-san hasn't given up on him." Sora pointed out with a lazy but earnest smile, "If that demon used to be a friend of yours, then I'll try and bring him back to the light."
Wally grumbled in frustration, getting up afterwards, "Alright. Fine, your funeral." He raised his hands in defeat, "Just to be clear, I warned you."
IN 2019...
"So you're telling me that Lord Vortigern… was technically a usurper?" Noah asked before he chuckled, "Heh, no wonder he chose to rename himself as such."
"I know, but that doesn't mean that we should underestimate what's going on here." Isaiah said before looking down, "However, it also explains why he seems to explain why the prince has difficulty with using his powers."
"He wasn't supposed to have them in the first place." Goofy concluded.
"This… I didn't think it was possible." The Guardian Ziku Trooper said, before looking towards the commander, "And the fact that Wally had become Oma Zi-O doesn't help matters."
Isaiah nodded, "What to do…" he pondered.
*RING RING RING!*
"Huh?" the commander pondered, noticing that Henrietta was calling him, "Is everything alright?"
"Bad news, commander!" she wailed after dodging an incoming slash from Feral Zi-O, "The spell Adam and Conquete placed on Rex is acting up again! He's become some new form of Zi-O!"
"WHAT?!" he gasped.
"Commander, what's wrong?" Noah asked him.
"Goofy, we need to go." He told him, "The others are in danger."
The dog knight nodded before the two got up, Isaiah then wordlessly thanked Noah and the Guardian Ziku Trooper for their time before they rushed to the others' location.
Back on the battlefield, Revi and Another Zi-O jumped out of the way of another attack from Feral Zi-O, who was still raring to go.
"Crap, this guy's relentless!" the false clock Rider groaned as he gripped his blades for support.
"Vice, mind helping us out?" the dinosaur Rider asked his inner demon, who was busy fighting off the feral clock Rider's inner Phantom.
"Would if I could, but I'm a little busy right now!" Vice shouted before he looked over his cover to find the Manticore Phantom charging up it's poison needles.
Vice quickly dove under cover to avoid getting pricked, he then jumped in and delivered two swings of his hammer to knock the Phantom back, but it shook off the attacks and tried to swing it's claws at the inner demon. Vice leaped out of the way of the first swing before he swatted the other back with his hammer.
"Come on, I've fought bigger monsters than you!" he laughed as the Manticore Phantom roared and released a jet of flames from it's mouth. Vice quickly swatted it away.
ELEMENT-IN!
"How about taste of your own medicine!" he declared before he began spinning around, becoming a fiery vortex that quickly flew towards the Phantom to burn it.
OSUTODERU CRASH!
He was able to land a couple of hits on the enraged phantom, causing it to back away in order to avoid the flames. Vice then leaped into the air and slammed his hammer onto the Manticore Phantom's head.
This seemed to have an effect on the feral clock Rider since he winced in fear from the blow. Revi was surprised to see this.
"Vice, what did you do?" he asked his inner demon.
"I just hit his Phantom on the head. Why?" Vice answered.
"Well keep doing it, I think that has some kind of effect on Rex!" the dinosaur Rider called out.
"Sweet!" Vice cheered.
After recovering however, Feral Zi-O turned his attention towards the only non-Rider adversary in the area; Henrietta. The purple-haired girl entered her stance while the feral clock Rider got on all fours, ready to pounce. She barely had time to react and so used her spear to block incoming lunging slash from the currently mad Feral Zi-O.
She then pushed the feral clock Rider off and swung her spear, landing several slashes onto him. Afterwards she performed a rising slash attack with her spear to pop Feral Zi-O into the air, but he was ready for her and fired the whip around his arm to grab her and use his fall to slam her into the ground, stunning her while he stumbled back to his feet.
Henrietta wasn't deterred however and swung her spear to produce a windstorm to disorient him long enough to tackle the feral clock Rider in the stomach. Afterwards, she quickly stunned the feral clock Rider with a smack to the side of the head before she stepped back and fired off a blast of ice from her spear's tip, leaving him wide open for a surprise attack from Another Zi-O and Revi.
This seemed to infuriate Feral Zi-O from the repeated cheap shots and let loose a burst of Chrono Energy to send the trio back. He then sent several sharp wind storms towards Revi and Another Zi-O with his arm blades, making the two dodge out of way repeatedly.
Henrietta took advantage of this and quickly drove her spear into Feral Zi-O's side, causing him to roar in pain.
"Sorry about this Rexy, but it's for your own good!" she apologized, before she activated the W Ridewatch and once more dove into his mind.
By the time she arrived, Vice and the Manticore Phantom were well underway in their fight. The inner demon stamped the ground.
ELEMENT-IN!
"Time to stone ya!" he declared as he created several energy stones towards the monster.
This angered the monster to prepare for a flurry of spines, but the purple-haired girl was quick enough to raise her spear into the air.
"Aerora!"
Soon, a gust of wind redirected the spines right back to the Manticore Phantom. It also made Vice turn around and spot the purple-haired girl, who rested her staff on her shoulder and winked cutely at him.
"Need a little help, kouhai?" she giggled.
"Heh, about time." Vice said as the two prepared to fight the Manticore Phantom.
As Sora marched towards the territory, a thought began to ring through his mind. There was a good chance that his arrival to this specific point in time wasn't a coincidence. Maybe he was always meant to come to this timeline? Maybe this event was always meant to happen?
Who knew at this point, but the Keyblade wielder knew for certain, he had to stop Rex before he became the Demon King of Time.
Soon, Sora arrived at the alleyway that he saw the thugs flee from, and sure enough he saw Rex was done beating down a likely rival delinquent.
"Who the hell are you?" the Silver-haired Demon questioned him, the rival delinquent who he had beaten running in fear.
"I'm here to stop you, Rex." Sora stated.
The past Rex got suspicious, "How do you know my name?" However e shook his head, "Heh, doesn't matter." The Silver-haired Demon chuckled as he stared before getting into a battle position, "You'll fall like the rest!"
Sora flinched as the past Rex leaped into the air and prepared an incoming Superman punch. Out of instinct, the Keyblade wielder summoned the Kingdom Key to his side and quickly activated Reflectga to knock the Silver-haired Demon's attack right back at him.
The past Rex briefly slid across the ground before glaring at the Keyblade wielder, only to be completely surprised by the strange weapon he was wielding. As he slowly got up, the delinquent shook off the confusion before his gaze once more hardened.
"Nice party trick, but that won't save you." The Silver-haired Demon snarled.
Sora on the other hand quickly prepared himself for a fight.
"I hate to do this, but you don't exactly leave me with a choice." Sora warned as he got into his battle stance.
'I can't use any elemental magic against him.' The Keyblade wielder thought, 'The alley is way too narrow for me to use Blizzaga or Thundaga, not to mention that it might get me some really unneeded attention in this era. I'll have to try and take him down the old-fashioned way.'
The two soon charged at each other, with Sora quickly swinging his Keyblade down to begin a three-hit combo. The past Rex was able to dodge the first two attacks, but Sora quickly ended the combo with an upwards slash to throw the delinquent off the rhythm.
This made the past Rex snarl in frustration as he quickly closed the gap between himself and Sora and landed a somersault kick to the Keyblade wielder's jaw, opening him up for a judo throw into some trash cans.
Sora was able to get back up as he quickly dodged an incoming punch from the past Rex, which allowed him to quickly charge forward and hit the delinquent with a sliding attack. However as the Silver-haired Demon quickly prepared for two swift kicks, Sora met each strike with his Keyblade, clashing and blocking each attack before the two leaped back.
"Heh, you're pretty good. You're actually making me work for my win." The Silver-haired Demon chuckled.
"I don't know if I should accept the compliment or feel insulted." Sora admitted.
The two then returned to the fight as Sora and the past Rex dodged and countered each other's attacks. When the delinquent threw out a punch or a leg sweep, the Keyblade wielder countered it and thrust his Keyblade forward to try and knock the wind out of the boy. Meanwhile whenever Sora tries to swing his Keyblade at the past Rex, the delinquent would just dodge and quickly retaliate with an elbow strike or a straight kick.
Limbering up, the past Rex began throwing out a flurry of punches at Sora. The Keyblade wielder thought fast as he blocked each and every strike that came his way.
'Holy crap, Rex was relentless! I can see why he got the reputation he had as a fighter!' Sora thought as the blows kept on coming.
"Come on, kid. Fight back." The past Rex growled.
"N-No, I don't want to hurt you!" Sora shouted in retaliation.
"Too bad… because I do!" he snarled.
The flurry became stronger and stronger as Sora was forced to his knees before a lucky kick knocked the Keyblade out of the way, stabbing it into the nearby wall.
Before Sora could call it back, the past Rex grabbed him and quickly suplexed him into the side of the wall, dazing him for a jumping flip kick that sent Sora to the ground. The Keyblade wielder shook his head but as the past Rex leaped towards him for a flying side kick.
"Back off!" Sora shouted as he recalled his Keyblade to him and quickly jumped up and began to deliver several spinning slashes to the delinquent, sending him onto the cover of a dumpster.
The past Rex shook it off as he got up and quickly took advantage of the elevated advantage and leaped into the air, kicking off of a wall and locking Sora into a headscissors. He then spun to the side locking his ankles around Sora's neck before throwing his opponent into the wall.
Sora staggered back to his feet as did Rex, the two feeling the fatigue of the fight as they stared each other down.
'This is getting ridiculous! I have to stop this fight now before it gets even uglier!' Sora thought.
"What's the matter? Getting tuckered out?" the Silver-haired Demon chuckled, "Come on, fight me. Fight me!" he taunted the Keyblade wielder.
Sora fell for the taunt and gripped his Keyblade tight and ran at him. However as the Silver-haired Demon was ready to kick him to the curb, Sora quickly dashed forward and used Sonic Blade, hitting him three consecutive times.
After being sent a small distance away, Sora quickly took out a small green bottle and drank it's contents, healing his injuries up to the delinquent's annoyance.
"You cheat!" he snarled before dodging an incoming slash to deliver a powerful uppercut that sent him flying.
He then quickly leaped from wall to wall before gripping him tight and performing and readying an Izuna Drop on the Keyblade wielder. As the two plummeted, Sora quickly thought fast and activated Reflectga, freeing himself from the Silver-haired Demon's grasp and allowing him to safely land on the ground. Rex on the other hand barely survived, grabbing the railing of the building's fire escape and clinging on.
Sora looked up before spotting Rex falling towards him with a flying side kick. He quickly raised his Keyblade to block the attack, forcing the Silver-haired Demon to instead propel himself back to a safe distance away from the Keyblade wielder.
"This is getting annoying." He sighed as he caught his breath.
"Yeah, that makes… two of us…" Sora agreed before staring him down, "Rex, this isn't you. Why are you acting this monstrously?"
"Why the hell do you care, punk?" the delinquent questioned him, "Who I was back then isn't any of your business!"
Rex then leaped up and prepared for a haymaker punch that Sora predicted and sent back with a Reflectga spell.
"Gah! Stop with that crap!" the delinquent snarled before grabbing a nearby trashcan and tossing it at the Keyblade wielder.
Sora wasn't afraid and was able to cut the incoming trash can in two, leaving the delinquent amazed and confused by the act. Rex shook out of his stupor and quickly tried to go on the attack, but Sora was faster; performing another Rising Spiral to knock the delinquent back… at least until he noticed that his Keyblade wasn't in his hands, it was in Rex's.
With a smirk, the Silver-haired Demon was about to throw the Keyblade away when it vanished from his grasp and returned to Sora's.
"Now that's just not fair." The delinquent groaned.
That was when the two fell to their knees, the previous two attacks taking more out of them than either thought. The fighters glared at each other as they rose to their feet, knowing that their next attack could decide the victor. With determination in their eyes, Rex took a runner's stance while Sora stood his ground and entered a posture akin to a samurai preparing to unsheathe his blade.
They then waited for the other to act and, as a small paper fell to the ground, Sora and Rex moved and delivered their last attack, a leaping kick for the latter and a swing of the Keyblade for the former. They soon stood there, not sure who had won as they got back up until…
*THUD!*
Rex tumbled to the ground, groaning in pain while Sora performed a Cure spell on himself. He then turned towards the defeated delinquent, struggling to get back up while he shrugged off the damage.
"How… how are you… this strong?" Rex asked, "I spent years of fighting… how did I lose?"
Sora merely reached out to the young king, "Maybe it's because you were placing your strength in the wrong place?" he asked.
"Huh?" the delinquent muttered.
"Listen. I know that we've never met. But… I know that you can do better." Sora said to the delinquent, "However, you can't just fight as if there's no hope for the worlds."
"What do you mean? The world is cold and cruel, so I'm paying it back in kind." Rex snarled.
"Not from what I heard." The Keyblade wielder refuted, recalling the time he shared with the young king, "I know that you got a good heart in you, that you want to help others. Like a good king would!"
The delinquent said nothing, caught off-guard from the Keyblade wielder mentioning his old dream. He then looked back and saw the earnest look Sora was giving him. He tried to see if there was any deceit in the boy's tone, something that could showcase his true intentions. However, when the Keyblade wielder helped him back up, Rex could only see something in the boy.
He saw the person he used to be.
As Sora was about to continue, the sound of a dimensional veil began to ring out, making Rex flee as far as he could before the Keyblade wielder could notice. Soon, a dimensional veil appeared and out came Donald and Jiminy Cricket. Rex was… understandably rubbing his eyes to make sure that he wasn't seeing things.
"Sora! We found you!" the duck mage cheered.
"Donald! Jiminy!" Sora cheered before embracing the two.
"I'm so glad you're still alive!" Donald cheered before the two stopped hugging, "But now's not the time to celebrate. We got a problem."
"What's wrong?" The Keyblade wielder became concerned.
"Grant is… well, how do I put this?" Jiminy struggled to explain the current situation.
"We think that Grant could be heading back to the present to kill Rex." Donald explained, "Goofy went with him to try and keep him in check while Jiminy and I looked for you and Weiss."
Almost immediately, Sora's concern grew, "Wait, what about Weiss? Did you find her?"
"Not yet." The two answered.
"Well, maybe we can find her together?" the Keyblade wielder suggested.
"Yeah, but we don't have a lot of time. We need to find Weiss and fast." Donald stated.
With a determined look, Jiminy returned to Sora's pocket and soon, they quickly leaped back into the dimensional veil, hopefully to where Weiss was.
Back in 2019-B, things weren't looking good for either duo against Feral Zi-O. Both within his mind and outside of it, the feral clock Rider was fighting against the four with all he had. Within his mind, Vice and Henrietta tried their best to calm down the Manticore Phantom, but it's wild nature and destructive attacks were taking it's toll on the inner demon and the purple-haired girl.
Henrietta and Vice quickly leaped towards the Manticore Phantom, performing a double strike with their weapons. However, the monster quickly used it's wings to block the attack and blow the pair back.
As the two got back up, the pair soon came to a realization as they noticed the scores of debris the rampaging Phantom had left.
"Do you think you can distract the Phantom?" the purple-haired girl asked.
"I'll buy you as much time as you need. Just make sure to give me a heads up before you let it rip." The inner demon said.
Henrietta nodded before the inner demon quickly baited the Manticore Phantom into another flame attack, allowing him to use a flame vortex spin to both damage and distract the monster. As he did so, the purple-haired girl took in a deep breath as she focused her magic into her spear. Wind begin to gather around her before she finally lifted her spear in to the air.
"Tornado!"
With all of her might, Henrietta created a mighty whirlwind that began to suck in most of the debris around the battlefield. Vice took the incantation shout as his signal to jump back to her side.
"Hope you like the Tilt-a-Hurl!" he teased before returning to the purple-haired girl's side while the Manticore Phantom struggled to hold onto the ground.
The rampaging phantom was soon sucked into the whirlwind and was hit with the repeated debris. With a smirk, Vice took out a yellow and red Vistamp and scanned it on the hammer's handle.
LION ITADAKI!
STAMPING GOING! STAMPING GOING!
With a smirk, the inner demon curled up into a ball and leaped high into the air. Afterwards, he fell straight down, delvering a powerful downwards smash onto the Manticore Phantom, one with the astral image of a lion swinging it's paw downwards.
OSUTODERU CRASH!
After landing by Henrietta's side, he then spotted the purple-haired girl stumble to the ground. In a panic, Vice quickly returned back to the real world with a tired Henrietta in tow.
As the two exited the feral clock Rider's mind, Feral Zi-O briefly slumped down like a puppet cut from it's strings.
"Kid, you doing alright?" he asked her.
The purple-haired girl tried to catch her breath while she used her spear as a crutch, "Y-Yeah, I think so…." She sighed, "I've never done a spell that strong before."
Another Zi-O and Revi were about to get to Henrietta and Vice… until they all noticed Feral Zi-O twitching. First it was subtle, then it was repeatedly, then he started convulsing until the feral clock Rider let loose a bloodcurdling roar, firing off another burst of Chrono Energy that sent the four flying. It even caused Ikki and Wally to be forced out of their transformations. They then noticed that Feral Zi-O was beginning to exude a dark aura, golden electricity coursing through his armor while the katakana eyes began to glow not unlike the Silver-haired Demon's eyes.
"Did you think that our little attack pissed off Manticore more than beat it?" Henrietta hesitantly asked.
"I think so…" the inner demon said.
As Feral Zi-O turned it's vengeful gaze towards the quartet, a new challenger soon appeared.
"Stand down, my prince!"
Sure enough, Isaiah and Goofy had arrived just in time. The two elders were shocked to see the snarling beast that Rex had been transformed into and was left horrified. It was then that Isaiah stepped forward.
"Isaiah, you sure about this?" Goofy asked him.
"I need to. If not, then we will all die." Isaiah said, resigning himself to what would come next.
With hesitation, the commander took out a Ziku Driver and placed it around his waist. Afterwards, he took out a Ridewatch with a mustard yellow base and a green dial and base. After he turned the dial, he activated it.
ZONJIS!
After slotting in the Ridewatch, Isaiah summoned forth an ornate-looking watch with green sides that had red gems around it. He then performed a hand sign as if to form a J on his hand.
"Henshin."
Once he spun the driver, his body was briefly covered with green energy before it transformed into a Rider form consisting of a black bodysuit with green semi-realistic grasshopper armor that included pointed shoulders, a large black cape with golden shoulderpads that draped over his arms and chest, and a helmet whose clock eyes struck 2 and 10 with the katakana for Rider arriving soon after.
RIDER TIME! KAMEN RI~DER~ ZONJI~S~!
Ikki and Wally were surprised, Isaiah was a Rider? However, this confused the feral clock Rider as he tilted his head at the mutant clock Rider. While he was hesitant, Zonjis took in a deep breath and taunted Feral Zi-O to attack him.
Sure enough, that quickly made the feral clock Rider see him as a threat and thusly he quickly flew towards him with his arm blades deployed. Zonjis responded to this threat by snarling back at the feral clock Rider. Feral Zi-O tried to land a couple of slashes and a kick onto Zonjis, but the mutant clock Rider stood firm and delivered a punch to the head.
The feral clock Rider shook off the hit and fired off his stinger, but Zonjis quickly grabbed it and tugged it tight.
"Get over here!" he shouted before launching the feral clock Rider with an uppercut.
Feral Zi-O was still enraged as he wildly swung at his opponent, but Zonjis was able to move out of the way of each swing before grabbing the feral clock Rider by the shoulders and tossing him away. He then took out his Zikan Despear and threw it at Feral Zi-O like a javelin. The feral clock Rider dodged it and then went and delivered two strong kicks to the mutant clock Rider. Soon, the two entered a struggle as either Zonjis or Feral Zi-O tried their best to overpower the other.
"Y-You're making this h-harder than it should, my prince." The mutant clock Rider said through gritted teeth.
Then, Feral Zi-O performed a headbutt onto Zonjis, giving him an edge to push the mutant clock Rider back and deliver a swing of his arm blades. Several pieces of his helmet soon fell off while the mutant clock Rider reeled back in pain.
However, he wasn't deterred. Zonjis then took out a Ridewatch that had the seeming inverse color scheme alongside the letters ZO and the year 1993 printed on it. He then turned the dial and activated it.
ZO!
After slotting it in and spinning the Driver, he soon received a set of green armor very similar to the KuugaArmor with golden trimmings and a red gem in the center. There was also a new helmet that had a silver line in the middle and a pair of antennae, though there were some cracks due in part to the prior attack from Feral Zi-O eariler. The letters ZO soon appeared to finish the form.
ARMOR TIME! (Shining sound) Z~O~!
Now in the ZOArmor, Zonjis circled Feral Zi-O as the latter snarled at the mutant clock Rider. Zonjis then delivered a couple of strikes to the feral clock Rider's chest before landing a roundhouse kick. After shaking off the hit, Feral Zi-O tackled Zonjis to the ground and began to claw at the mutant clock Rider as if he was a wild animal. Luckily, the mutant clock Rider kicked the rampaging Rider off of him as the two got up.
Zonjis then took a look at the feral clock Rider, feeling both a sense of guilt and confusion at this form. He had never seen Zi-O take on this transformation before.
'Perhaps it has something to do with Rex's status as an anomaly?' he pondered to himself.
As the two circled each other, Zonjis tried his best to find a way to safely subdue the feral clock Rider. After all, while he knew that Rex was not acting like this normally, but that didn't mean that he still wasn't dangerous since he had never seen this.
Before he could move, Feral Zi-O stabbed his stinger into Zonjis shoulder and pulled him in for a slash to the chest, leaving behind heavy gashes. Luckily the ZOArmor was able to heal the wounds but all this did was anger Feral Zi-O even more as he began slashing at the mutant clock Rider more and more.
Then, as his opponent staggered back, Feral Zi-O reared his bladed arm back…
*STAB!*
The world seemed to stop not just for Zonjis, but for everyone as Feral Zi-O sunk his arm blades into the Rider's chest. Everyone was left horrified while the former Quartzer felt all strength slowly leave his body, gripping the feral clock Rider's arm. This caused something to stir within the rampaging Rider as the dark aura subsided.
"C-Comm-mander?" Feral Zi-O spoke for the first time, his voice being on the cusp of the dark tone of the Silver-haired Demon yet still retaining the humanity the young king still had.
"T-This… this wasn't… your fault…" he tried to reassure him, but Feral Zi-O's confusion soon became fear as he pulled his arm away from the commander, leaving a heavy gash behind.
Feral Zi-O began to tilt his head in confusion while Zonjis' damaged helmet fell off, revealing the bruised and bloody face of Isaiah. He then looked at the feral clock Rider dead in the eye. As Feral Zi-O stepped away, Henrietta spotted Conquete and Adam had just arrived, likely to back up Wally. She expected them to gloat about the commander having been felled, but it seemed like even they were shocked by the outcome. Just then, Isaiah began to tumble, which prompted Henrietta, Wally, and Goofy to rush to his aide while the feral clock Rider was left frozen in fear and regret.
"No! Please, don't die!" Henrietta pleaded as she took out her staff and raised it up, "Cure!"
Nothing happened, to her confusion.
"What?! I said Cure!" she shouted again, attempting to cast the spell but once again, nothing.
"Henrietta…" the dog knight said, attempting to try and calm the purple-haired girl. However she shouted the incantation again and again to no avail. She had already exhausted so much of her magic reserve that she didn't have the strength to use the spell.
Meanwhile, the former bully soon felt the same fear of death grip him like when the Shifu had perished. However unlike the previous time, he knew that Rex was not acting like himself. Isaiah then looked towards Henrietta.
"I… I'm sorry… I should have… been here… much earlier…" he apologized.
"No, please commander! Please stay with us!" Henrietta pleaded, "I can't lose you, Weiss can't lose you!"
Isaiah couldn't help but smile before he placed his hat onto the purple-haired girl's head, "I'm sorry… but my time… has come…" he apologized, placing something in her hands.
When Henrietta looked down, she saw that it was his Ziku Driver, a bit bloody but still functional. Meanwhile, Isaiah then turned to a tearful Wally.
"Listen… I need you… to do me a favor…" he asked him as he coughed up blood, "Please… take care of my daughter for me… as well as the others…"
"B-But-!"
"I know… it's a lot…" Isaiah said, "But… I know… that you still have light within you… I'm counting on you…"
Goofy then slowly got up and gave a final salute to the commander, "It's been an honor fighting by your side." He said.
As his breathing began to slow more and more, the dying commander's body started to slowly glow. Feral Zi-O reached out, as if to try and stop the man's passing. But, all he could muster for words were a simple, "Don't go."
Isaiah smiled, "Rex… I know that… you are destined for… great things… You just need… to find the balance… between the monster you were back then… and the king you are now…" he advised the feral clock Rider for one more time, "Please… complete the mission…" His last words soon began to echo in Feral Zi-O's mind as Isaiah reminded him of the promise he had made to Sento when his journey began.
"Be the One… to save us… from the… Another… Riders…"
And just like that, Isaiah breathed his last and his body became notes of light. As Isaiah's heart began to float into the air, Conquete fell to his knees and wept aloud, as did Henrietta who looked at the commander's final resting spot.
Meanwhile, Grant noticed a tear roll down his cheek. Confused, he checked his face and saw that he was crying. But that was strange, why was he crying? Did something happen?
Back with Feral Zi-O, the feral clock Rider began to look at his hands and then towards the others. Henrietta was about to call for him, but he just stepped back in fear. The purple-haired girl realized that likely something in Rex must have broken through, but that thought was quelled when he let loose a powerful windstorm that forced everyone to avert their eyes for cover. When the others looked up, Feral Zi-O had vanished.
The feral clock Rider had taken the time to flee to an spot far from the park. He then fell to his knees as Feral Zi-O had begun to cry.
"What have I done?" he muttered in despair.
One thing was certain, he needed to get the Driver off of him. However, as he went to take out the Zi-O Ridewatch… it was stuck. Confused, the feral clock Rider once again tried to remove the watch but it once again did not budge.
'No… no… it can't be!' he mentally panicked.
He soon tried to yank the whole belt off of him, but like the watch it would not budge. Feral Zi-O tried to remove his helmet but it wouldn't come off..
"Come on, you piece of junk!" he roared in frustration, "I want to go back to normal! I don't want to be to be a monster anymore!"
The feral clock Rider began to struggle to change back, but try as he might, it seemed like there was no way for him to return back to normal. He tried to use his arm blades to pry the watch off of his belt, he tried bashing his helmet onto the wall to break it, he tried to claw the suit off of him, but it was all futile.
Feeling sorrow and anguish in his heart, Feral Zi-O let loose a loud scream of mournful agony.
"Okay your majesty. You want to play hard ball? Then how about I make your personal nightmare a reality…" Dark Vice chuckled, having watched Feral Zi-O attempt to de-transform before he looked at several blank Ridewatches at his side.
An arriving Adam looked conflicted, "You sure you want to do this, Vice? Making multiple Another Riders in the same year is gonna be mighty risky."
"Hey, what's a game without some risk? Ain't that right, partner?" He chuckled before turning towards the currently silent Conquete, all before he snapped his finger to summon several Ziku Troopers appeared via a time portal.
"What is the mission, sir?" the leader of the group asked Conquete.
Then, after transforming the Ridewatches into Another Ridewatches, the conqueror then places them into their hands.
"Find these people, make them into monsters… and send them after Rex Wells." he ordered them with frigid rage in his voice.
The Ziku Troopers saluted and then, the monsters started appearing…
In one café, Gramount was trying his best to woo some girls, but the girls shared no interest in his attempts and leave.
"Ugh, another swing and a miss." He grumbled as he sat down at his table, "This sucks…"
Just then, he noticed a Ziku Trooper approach him. Curious, he got up and was about to greet him, but then he heard the activation noise of an Another Ridewatch.
DYNAMAX…
Then the Ziku Trooper placed the watch into the flirt's heart, causing him to convulse.
"Hunt down the would-be Demon King of Time." The Ziku Trooper ordered.
At that moment, he transformed into a large rabbit-like monster with a flame on it's forehead, red glowing eyes, a red and black armor set that resembled a soccer uniform, a red and white belt that housed a strange symbol on it, and a pair of rabbit-themed sneakers. On his ears was the name Dynamax and the year 2019.
With the Dynamax Evo-Mutation roared into the sky, it soon leaped up and began it's search for the young king.
Saaya was for the most part, practicing for her next audition. This time it was for a play about a snow queen, and she was auditioning for the role of the snow queen herself. However, she then sighed as she felt slightly lost.
'Why don't I feel this role?' she thought to herself.
She then thought it was time for a break as she decided to sit on the bench where her bag was. The student council president then looked into the sky as her mind drifted back to when the Quiz Metaluna kidnapped her.
He needed her to save his dying wife. But that was her future self, not the person she is now. Right? She wanted to be an actress very much like her mother, but at the same time there was a chance that she could leave the entertainment world and enter the medical field.
Saaya sighed, 'Just what future is right for me?'
As she looked over the script again, the young girl heard the door open.
"Come i-"
When she saw the Ziku Trooper standing before her, Saaya could tell that he was not a friend of the other Riders at all. Before she could escape, the Trooper shoved the Anotherwatch into her and gave the same command Gramount was given.
Hunt down the would-be Demon King of Time.
She quickly screamed as she was transformed into an Another Rider. This one had a crooked nurse's cap that more resembled the hat of a pirate captain, a rusted pirate-like chestplate with a short navy blue winglike shawl, rusty red and white armor over the legs that ended with a pair of fish fins on the ankles of the boots, and a belt that had a torn-up book on the front. The shawl itself had the name Litclub on the left alongside the year 2018 on the right.
LITCLUB…
Now as the Litclub Honster, Saaya felt her body forcibly move as her new rusted cutlass was unsheathed and began to make it's way towards it's target.
Tsugiyoshi was walking around like he always did. After all, he felt like he earned it, after what he went through. However, as he went through his daily life, things just didn't add up. Namely him finding out that Kanae and another person were in this world.
Then his mind drifted back to one specific person.
Rex.
'I can see it in his eyes. He's hiding something. I just know it.' He thought to himself.
It was only fair after all, as life in Hagukumi went from simple to downright bizarre as Kamen Rider sightings have
He soon stopped at his destination, Aira Dojo. This was where Kanae was training at, so perhaps he could get some answers from her?
Then he saw a Ziku Trooper walking towards him. He soon got up and glared at the soldier.
"Who are you?" he questioned him.
"Who I am does not matter. What matters now is your new mission, Rat." The Ziku Trooper said.
Tsugiyoshi eyes narrowed as he glared at the trooper. There was no chance that this Trooper knew that name. The Ziku Trooper saw there was some resistance in the young man's posture and just as quickly, charged at the young man.
He quickly began to try and fight off the trooper by landing a few kicks, but the Ziku Trooper shook his head and blocked the next kick with his arm. He then threw Tsugiyoshi off balance long enough to place the Anotherwatch into his heart and gave him his mission.
COSMOS…
The Another Rider form of Tsugiyoshi took resembled a blue combat uniform made to look like a Roman centurion, with a single shoulderpad that had a horse on it, a bronze helmet that had two wings that almost resembled the ears of a rat and wild blue eyes, a lower half that had wing-like skirts, and silver boots. The belt itself resembled a lock with two keys permanently welded onto it. His chestplate displayed the word Σύμπαν while the horse shoulderpad had the year 2020 embossed onto it.
Taking out it's curved rapier, the Cosmos Zodiarite began running as fast as it could towards his destination.
Homare was left running. A Ziku Trooper was out to get her, and with an Another Ridewatch in his hand.
'I need to get out of here, I need to warn Rex and the others!' she thought to herself.
As the chase continued, the skater quickly ran past an area before spotting an Another Rider emerging from a nearby restaurant, a large turtle Another Rider with a red and black set of armor around it's arms and legs, a strange piece of obsidian around it's waist, and finally a large crest on it's head. The back of the shell had the word Maizen and the year 2022 on it.
Then she had to dodge out of the way of a manhole opening to reveal a large fishman-like Another Rider with a broken diving gear-like helmet, the name Aqua, and the year 2051 on it's chest emerging from the sewers before sliding between the legs of a revived Beast Phantom, all before dodging and incoming Ichigo Kaijin.
'There are Another Riders everywhere!' Homare thought to herself.
That was when she heard a monstrous roar sound as the Another Riders soon roared in response to the would-be challenger. They soon began to make their way towards the source of the roar. This just made the skater wonder...
Where were Rex and the others?

As the two Riders stared each other down, afterwards the scene changes to go through a rift in time that begins to pull in the different weapons of Team Zi-O before it fades to black

When the screen returns, it showcases Rex standing alone on a fiery battleground at night. It then zooms in as it shows the young king looking towards the horizon, his scarf fluttering in the wind as the fires blaze around him. He looked beaten up as he closed his eyes and sighed, the afterimage of the Silver-haired Demon looming over him

Yoake ga soko ni mieru kara/
The scene then jumps to Grant looking towards the sea in the morning, the calm waves slashing while the soldier was deep in thought. He then turned his attention towards the dog tags in his hand and gripped them tight, a single tear dropping from his face as the afterimage of his father appeared by his side.

Warau kimi wo mite/
It then goes to Weiss wandering through the ruins of a castle. As she placed a hand on the still intact throne, she felt a tear go down her face as memories of the past begin to flow through her mind.

Finally, Henrietta is left wandering the streets of Hagakumi alone before noticing the mark on her hand begin to glow as she turned towards the left, causing the camera to turn towards that direction.

It soon returns to the flaming battleground as Rex turns to see that Sora was behind him, reaching out to him. The young king tries to walk towards him, but notices the ground below him begin to crack underneath him.

Meanwhile, Grant looks to see something in the sky. At first he was unable to reach it, when he jumps up, it causes the ground to shake and eventually break, revealing the night battlefield as Rex falls.

It soon transitions into a tracking scene of Grant either flying upwards through the morning sky and Rex falling down the starry night sky. All the while, various Ridewatches floated around the pair endlessly.

The two soon spot the Zi-O and Geiz Ridewatches and quickly do their best to reach them. As the pair are about to grab their respective Ridewatches, they pass by each other which causes a bright flash that subsides to show the Heisei-ber and the Zikan Zaclaw crossed together.
Light…
That was what Weiss saw as a morning sun began to wake her up from her unconscious state.
"Ow… that hurt…" she muttered as she got back to her feet.
As she regained her bearings, she noticed something odd. The resistance fighter wasn't on the street anymore. In fact, it felt like to her she wasn't in the same world anymore. The place Weiss found herself in was a large yet completely ravaged throne room of a medieval castle. There were vines and plants taking over large parts of the room while the furnishings were old, moldy, or partially destroyed.
When she looked towards the throne, there sat a dusty old throne that had up above were the symbols of a crystals alongside four banners, one of a wishing star, one of a large crystal, one of a strange winged bird, and to her shock the same Kamen symbol that all of the Ridewatches have on them.
"Wha…? Where am I?" she gasped.
"Home, princess…"
Weiss quickly summoned forth her Luminous Fractor, ready to fight this new stranger. However, upon turning around, she was greeted by Sayo instead.
"Welcome home, princess…" she greeted her, briefly bowing as she did so, "Or at least, what's left of it eons later…"
THE NEXT CHAPTER OPENS!

"You were born to be king."
"Can you truly fix this? After everything that's happened?"

Yep, I decided to post this on Chrismas Day fully knowing what the ending of this chapter would be. Truth be told, in the earliest versions of Road to the King before ghost83 made Zero, Isaiah likely would not have died. However, after Zero's creation and with Ohma Revive and Doraemonfan's help, his expansion in to a bigger character. I just had less and less reason to keep the character around so I knew that I had to kill him off. That being said, this won't be Kamen Rider Zonjis' last appearance, far from it.
Also, I didn't feel like making a non-canon Christmas special for EoT like I did for Halloween when I made Night of the Departed. That being said, I thought it would be cool to do a couple of things for this chapter, namely finally folding in the characters from EoT: Dual Destinies such as cameos from Squira, Noah, and Yamataro, as well as have Gia namedropped after I slightly revised chapters 24 and 31 to include both an allusion to her and a cameo of her when she was just a wee baby. I also wanted to put a firm placement of where Dual Destinies chapter 1's opening segment in 2019-B took place in, so I made it so that this chapter was when Regina and Gia (the two protagonists of Dual Destinies) met during this day.
Meanwhile, I wanted to give a more expanded version of the big opening battle from the start of this fic and so I wrote this. It also allows KR Orochi to have a another cameo after like what? 17 chapters since her debut and a brief mention in Dual Destinies chapter 3?
But yeah, that's pretty much what I wanted to say since I'll try and get at least two more fics done before 2023 ends and I can get ready for a special spin-off for EoT that I have planned for the series' fifth anniversary... alongside finally completing that April 1st AU fic I partially posted while my computer was on the fritz.
