I do not own Batman or Pokemon.
A short while has passed since Mr Wayne had his first Pokemon battle against the student council president of Naranja Academy, Nemona. Since then, at the advice of his colleague he decided to search around Poco Path for some Pokemon to add to his team.
He didn't really want to do this, but he needed to get stronger in Pokemon battling as he had a feeling that's the reason whoever or whomever brought him here wanted, and he decided to play along for now.
That is when he spotted a orange rodent with unusually large front paws.
Bruce quickly took out his rotom phone and pulled out the Pokedex feature that was given to him by his fellow collie, Mr Jacq.
Pokedex: Pawmi, the mouse Pokemon. It has underdeveloped electric sacs on its cheeks. These sacs can produce electricity only if Pawmi rubs them furiously with the pads on its forepaws.
"An electric type Pokemon could prove valuable in the long run. I guess I'll capture it."said Mr Wayne to himself, before he pulled out the pokeball containing the grass cat Pokemon.
"Sprigatito, I choose you!"said Bruce, as he called out the grass cat Pokemon for battle.
"Sprig!"said the grass cat Pokemon, ready for battle.
"Paw?"said the mouse Pokemon, before I began rubbing its cheeks together and generating electricity on its front paws.
"I don't think so! Use leafage!"ordered Bruce, causing the grass cat Pokemon to form several green leaves around his body, before he launched them at the mouse Pokemon!
Pawmi saw this and reacted too late as it was quickly struck by the grass type attack! It quickly recovered and surrounded itself with white energy, before it decided to use quick attack against Sprigatito!
"Dodge it!"ordered Bruce, causing the grass cat Pokemon to jump to the left to avoid getting hit with quick attack.
"Now use bite!"ordered Bruce, causing the grass cat Pokemon to run over and quickly bite the mouse pokémon with the dark type move!
"Paw!"said Pawni as it was knocked back.
"You've thrown a million batarangs, so throwing up pokeball will be no different!"said Mr Wayne to himself, before he pulled out a pokeball.
"Go, pokeball!"shouted Bruce at the top of his lungs as he threw the pokeball at Pawni.
The mouse pokémon had little time to react as it was, before the pokeball ricocheted off of its forehead and opened up. It then absorbed Pawni inside! A few seconds later, the pokeball fell to the floor as it closed itself shut, before it began wiggling. Both trainer and pokémon held their breath as the pokeball wiggled for a few seconds before a click sound was heard, indicating that Pawni was successfully captured!
"Yes!"said Bruce to himself as he quickly walked over and picked up the pokeball.
"Now I have a Pawmi on my team."said Bruce to himself, while the grass cat Pokemon jumped on his shoulder.
"Hmm... looks like you have a new friend. And according to the Pokedex this Pawni is male, and his ability is static...This will be convenient in the long run."said Bruce says he was checking out the Pokedex app identification of his new Pokemon.
"Now back to your pokeball."said Bruce, before he called the grass cat Pokemon back to his pokeball.
"Now to see if there is any other Pokemon I can add to my team?"said Bruce to himself, before he suddenly heard a loud growl from somewhere!
This quickly got his attention as he looked around for the source of the noise! Bruce knew almost every sound a Pokemon makes thanks to his week at Naranja Academy, and no Pokemon that he knows of makes such a noise!
"Maybe it's the creature that brought me here!"deducted Bruce, who wasn't a hundred percent sure, but at this point what did he know.
He was the one abducted from his world and placed in a world where people use creatures called Pokemon to battle each other. Nothing from his old world made sense in this new world.
Deciding to look around for the source of the, Bruce quickly figured out that it was coming from a nearby cliff. He quickly you made his way over there where he saw some kind of orange lizard that kind of reminded him of a Cyclizar being harassed by several Pokemon he identified as Houndour.
He tried to get a better look when the creature growled again, causing the ground beneath Bruce to give out! Burce quickly tried to grab onto a nearby ledge, but he missed by a few inches and quickly began descending to the ground below!
Meanwhile, a Pokemon that looked a lot like a tiny robin was just mining its own business before it saw the back of Bruce Wayne descending towards it. The bird like Pokemon didn't know what it was supposed to do until it was too late, and it ended up getting hit!
Bruce on the other hand was saved in the nick of time by his rotom phone, which quickly hosted him up at the last second and prevented him from suffering from what would have been a bad fall.
"Phew..."said Bruce, before he noticed the little bird Pokemon he had accidentally hit lying on the floor.
He quickly pointed his pokedex app at the pokémon to identify it.
Pokedex: Fletchling, the tiny robin Pokemon. This Pokémon is normally calm, but once it enters battle, its hormonal balance changes and it becomes aggressive.
The fletchling in question was currently recovering by getting up from the floor. Bruce, deciding not to waste the opportunity quickly through a pokeball on its back, causing said pokeball to bounce off and open up, absorbing the tiny robin Pokemon inside.
Said pokeball quickly fell to the floor, after a few seconds of wiggling it stopped moving ane a click sound was heard, indicating that Fletchling had been successfully captured.
"Good, another good Pokemon to add to the team!"said Bruce as he was picking up the pokeball in question, before he turned his attention to the pokémon that managed to scare away the pack of Houndour
Bruce, feeling like the creature was hurt quickly went over the check to see if it was all right.Now, normally he wouldn't do this, but seeing a creature who had done no wrong laying there made something inside and feel the need to check to see if it was okay. His worries quickly dissipated when he heard a stomach grumbling, indicating that the Pokemon in front of him was just hungry.
"Well that's a relief."said Bruce to himself as he pointed the Pokedex app at the Pokemon, only to get a response that said no data...?
"That's weird. Every known Pokemon should be on this app...Unless it's a Pokemon no one's ever seen before."said Bruce, figuring that was the case.
That is when he heard the Pokemon's stomach grumble again.
"I guess I have no choice. I was going to eat this for lunch, but I think you need this more than me."said Bruce has he pulled out a sandwich that was prepared for him by a fellow calling by the name of Mr Saguaro.
The pokémon quickly notice the sandwich, and after sniffing it for a few seconds quickly pulled it out of Mr Wayne's hand with its jaws and began consuming it. It appears to like the sandwich very much.
"Ha, what is going on with me?"Bruce questions himself, as neither him nor his Batman persona would have ever gone this far for a creature before.
Definitely an innocent civilian, but a creature that he doesn't know if it's good or bad is a different story. He figures it has something to do with whoever brought him here and messed with his brain...But that is only a hypothesis for now..
The creature on the other hand quickly regained its strength after eating Mr Wayne's sandwich. It quickly got up and walked past him, before it did something that amazed Mr Wayne.
The creature soon began glowing after closing its eyes, seemingly focusing energy on one spot. The creature then jumped into the air and took on a completely different form, that was similar but more powerful than the form of was previously in!
Most of its body became scarlet in color, with white accents on its cheeks, abdomen, legs, and tail. Its head features a large plume and a pair of long, thin, twisted antennae; its rear has a similar, much larger plume. These plumes and antennae are white in color and blue-purple at the base. It has yellow eyes with brown pupils, webbed feet, and blue features on its elbows and shoulders, as well as blue frills running down its neck. On its chest is a large circular protrusion which resembles a rubber tire. Its texture and black coloration are similar to the base of its tail as well.
"Woah!"said Mr Wayne as the creature look back at him, before it began going into a nearby cave.
"Mr Wayne on the other hand figured that he should follow it for the following reasons.
One: He didn't have his equipment to get up from that high cliff back to Poco Path
Two: He could climb the cliff, but then his suit would get ruined.
Three: He didn't want to let this powerful creature out of his side in case it was bad
So, with those three good points in his mind, Bruce began following the creature inside the mysterious cave that was next to the beach they happen to be on. Soon, they made their way deeper into the cave where he saw what appeared to be green energy on various spots throughout the cave. Bruce wasn't sure if this was Moss or something, but he didn't care at that moment as he noticed that the creature every so often look back to see if he was still following him, before I continued walking forward.
It was like the Pokemon was waiting for him, making sure he was safe.
It was an unfamiliar feeling for Mr Wayne, who was used to protecting others and not the other way around.
Meanwhile, he couldn't help shaking this feeling that he was being watched by something fierce. He knew this feeling too many times during his time as Batman and Gotham City. It was a look that was saying that he was in enemy territory and whoever was staring at him wanted him to leave as soon as possible!
The mysterious Pokemon on the other hand broke through a wall like it was made out of paper with its powerful claws. It then look back to see that Mr Wayne was still following it, so it decided to continue going forward.
That is when Mr Wayne felt the vicious presence even more intense!
"Come out! I know you're there!"shouted Bruce, and it appeared that whoever was watching and decided to respond by launching a flamethrower attack at him.
Bruce quickly jumped out of the way and that is when he noticed the Pokemon that he knew as Houndoom, the evolved form of Houndour approaching him. Bruce quickly deduced that this Houndoom must be the leader of the pack that lives in this cave, and it was angry as both Bruce and the mysterious Pokemon had invaded his territory.
'I can't call out Sprigatito! This dark Pokemon is clearly on another level! I don't want Sprigatito to get hurt! Ah, it's times like this that I wish I had my batsuit and batarangs!' thought Mr Wayne to himself, as he was trying to think of his next move.
That is when the mysterious Pokemon noticed that the man who had given him food earlier was in trouble. After a second of pondering, the mysterious pokémon quickly jump back and got in between Mr Wayne and the enemy Houndoom, before striking said pokémon with it's tail!
The Houndoom clearly took damage as he was pushed back. Seeing that he needed backup, it quickly let out a loud yell that called forth it's pack of houndour!
"Oh great!"said Bruce with sarcasm, realizing that a bad situation just became worse as he saw more and more houndour coming towards them.
The mysterious Pokemon on the other hand, seen that they were overrun decided to grab Mr Wayne and look for a way to escape.
"Hey!"shouted a familiar voice, causing Bruce to look up to see it was none other than Nemona.
"Up here! Quick!"shouted the student council president.
The mysterious pokémon on the other hand quickly obliged then began jumping various rock formations on the cave, escaping the pack of Houndour and it's Houndoom leader.
Bruce and the mysterious pokémon meanwhile gone on to a nearby safe position, next to Nemona.
"Phew.."said Mr Wayne as the mysterious Pokemon let him down, before Nemona ran over and hugged him, surprising the student teacher.
"I'm so glad you're okay!"said Nemona, glad that her new teacher was okay and not turn into houndour food.
"I'm fine."said Mr Wayne, before the student council president realized what she was doing and quickly let go of him, all the while blushing.
"I heard a commotion in this cave and I decided to check it out. That is when I saw you in this Pokemon in trouble."said Nemona, who for some reason was nervous.
"The good news is that we're all okay and that's all that matters."said Mr Wayne, before he noticed the mysterious Pokemon going into the sunlight.
That is when it took on the form he originally saw it and, appearing to have used up all the energy it had to save him.
"Are you okay?"inquired Mr Wayne as he went over to see if the mysterious Pokemon was okay.
"I've never seen a Pokemon like this before. It looks like a Cyclizar, but I've never seen one this big or in this form."said Nemona, who's never seen a Pokemon like this either.
"Well then, where did it come from?"said Bruce to himself, wondering where this Pokemon is or what its name even was.
That is when he noticed the mysterious pokémon approaching the lighthouse that was not too far away from Poco Path. A few minutes later, a young man wearing what appeared to be a slacker version of the Naranja Academy school uniform quickly approach the mysterious pokémon.
"What are you doing out here, Koraidon?!"said the young man, identifying the mysterious Pokemon by a name.
"Koraidon? So that's this Pokemon's name.
"Hey, I know you! Your Arven, the son of that famous Pokemon researcher, professor Sada!"said Nemona, identifying the young man in front of her.
"It doesn't matter who my mom is!"quickly retorted Arven.
"I have questions for you young man, and I expect answers."said Mr Wayne as both he and Nemona approach the lighthouse.
"You'll get answers out of me after a battle!"said Arven, before he pulled out a pokeball.
"...Here we go again."said Mr Wayne, who had a feeling that he was in for a ride during his time here and Paldea.
And it was nowhere near finished!
