Chapter Four

It had been a couple of months since Harry had been in this world and since then he had moved in with the Hero who had first found him; Eraserhead. Or as Harry quickly found out he was called Shota Aizawa. Though he had been told to call him Aizawa-san when he wasn't in what was apparently his hero wear of some sort.

Which oddly enough, Harry noted he seemed to be in nearly ninety percent of the time anyway. So yes, Harry instead made it, so he only called him by that name when he was sure they were alone.

Or if not that with the friends that Eraserhead had, not that Harry himself had met them in person yet but he had hear conversation on the phone with them and had been briefly introduced to them through said phones as well. With the promise of meeting them in person coming up soon.

As they had been seriously too busy lately to do anything else, and besides that Harry still was under probation with a few more security checks to go through to be on the safe side. Though lucky those checks didn't include anything to do with his son, and said son seemed to be rather happy with everything that was going on.

Hell, Teddy even seemed to be growing close to Aizawa and trusted him enough to sleep on him the few times the hero in question had carried him the few times Harry's arms had been too full to do himself. In fact, Harry himself was starting to grow close to the man in question and at the very least had grown to respect him for the sheer work ethics and drive he had.

And while the dry wit and deadpan reply might have irritated Harry when he was younger, and perhaps remind him of certain people he hadn't gotten along with when he was had been a child. Now he could snap back with an equal amount of snark and dare he say it catty reply that he really was entertained most days.

Of course, this living with Eraserhead, and getting along with him to a rather startling degree, only happened after said Hero had tested Harry in the first place. One where he and a certain detective got to see at least the basics of Harry skills.

Both a way to ensure just what Harry could do, see if he could stop it with his quirk if worse came to worse, and at the same time ensure that Harry could protect himself to some degree. After all Harry was going to be living with a Hero and if worse came to worse there could be surprise attacks that followed Aizawa to his home.

When it came to that particular test it had ended up being just the basics of what he could do because Harry had rather reluctantly admitted, when he had first start the test back in Naomasa Tsukauch'soffice, that he wasn't sure what his limits were as his body had undergone changes.

Though there had been more training and testing since then as Harry had learned more about the changes he had undergone and learned his new limits; if only so he could push to surpass them. Which something those that now knew him seemed to approve of.

However, considering back when he had first been tested, given the fact he knew the changes he had undergone weren't just cosmetic changes, meant that back then he wouldn't have been able to show his full strength or skills as he hadn't known them then. Just knew they were the same as what they had been on an instinctual level. Still, he had done his best to show what he should have been able to do back before he had gone through the Veil in the first place.

Flash back

Harry entered the testing room with Tsukauch's and Eraserhead watching behind some thick glass; similar but different than what Harry had seen on a police movie on time. One that Harry knew had to be treated or made unbreakable in some way, considering just what was being test on.

Not to mention what seemed to be a one way mirror if the fact he could no longer see the two once he was in the room in question meant anything. Even if at the same time Harry still knew those two were behind that partial wall watching him.

Still after entering the room in question Harry took a deep breath to calm himself down and focus himself on what he was about to do. Then knowing he really didn't have much time to do in manually started to channel his magic though his body to warm it up; a little something he had learned from Moody during his training.

Which was also something that not only made his body stronger, faster and better at reacting but also made it so his magic was closer to the surface so it to reacted faster to nearby threats as well. Which did explain how Moody was able to survive as much as he did with as many enemies as he had; even if it wasn't as whole as the man in question may have liked.

When Harry got into what he assumed was room to test his skills, he found out that there seemed to be several robots there. Which confused Harry a bit as he hadn't expected the test to be something like this. Though he did wonder just what Eraserhead had been grumbling about it for a bit.

Not that Harry had much time to wonder this as the robots in question all active once the door was fully shut behind him. Letting Harry know right way that they were what they were going to be used to test his skills.

Something that Harry found slightly odd and had to adjust several of the plans he made before as some of the magic he had planned to use were more reactive magic, like say a tickling charm, and could only be used on living things.

Though it did make him wonder if his magic still affected electronics like it did back in his home world. Because if so, this was going to be one very short test. One that really didn't show any of his skills but would be rather funny. To him at least, then again Eraserhead might also get a good laugh at it if the grumbling he heard earlier meant anything.

To test this theory, and because he thought it would be rather humorous if it did prove to be true, Harry sends out a small wave of nearly invisible magic around himself. One that would normally shut down or at the very least affect electronics to a degree back in his home world; or at least it did before he learned to control it.

Normally causing them to either short slightly or if not that glitch slightly on the more protected high geared electronics or that is what would have happened back in his world. While at the same time the magical pulse in question would also give Harry a slightly better idea about the size of the room and everything in it; similar to sonar of a bat but at much lesser degree. As it would only give him the very basic outline instead of more exact idea of what was around him.

Only that isn't what happened as while yes Harry did get an idea of what the room around him was like, the robots in question didn't even react to the magical pulse he released and began to attack him. Making Harry realize two things rather quickly at that.

One, apparently his magic doesn't affect the electronics in this world in the least bit; as his magic for lack of words slashed harmlessly against the robots in question. Just giving Harry the idea, they were there along with all the other things in the room in the outline he had gotten. Which made a bit more sense the more he thought about it and the more he considered all the energy based quirks that there could be. And two this test was getting a lot more interesting.

And sure enough, not even seconds after he sent the energy blast off, Harry found himself being attacked by six different robots at once. Each one attacking not exactly at the same time but close enough that Harry really had to move and think even quicker to avoid said attacks.

Still Harry was used to being attacked by spells that moved at even higher speeds and more often than not had deadly effects to them to boot. So, he was prepared for this attack; more so than ever as he noted his eye sight had gotten sharper than it already was.

Making it so he could react better than he could before as he moved his body around the robots attacks, weaving around them with surprising flexibility and even faster speeds than he was used to. Letting Harry know himself that yes, his body had been improved to a degree when he got to this world. Now all he had to do was get an idea just how much that was.

That in mind and knowing that the two outside also wanted to get an idea of what his skills were, Harry got ready to really face those robots of theirs. A rather eager, slightly catty, grin on his face as he flipped over the first robot before beginning to throw powered up cutting curses at the robots, as well as one of his favorite blasting spells.

Knowing from what he had been told, before he had even entered the room in question, that they honestly didn't care how much he damaged the robots in question got. Not as long as he showed the others what his skills were. As they put it, the robots were rather easily replaceable and the answers they got would be more valuable.

So, in the name of this, Harry decided that he might as well as give them a good idea just what his magic could do as well. Or to be more precise what his magic and the war experience he had could do. Seeing as that was one of if not the main reason, they had wanted to test him in the first place.

Not only that but Harry loved his magic, he might not like the wizarding world as a whole, but he loved his magic and everything it had done for him. And he wanted to show the others just how wonderful but at the same time how dangerous magic as a whole could be.

Which was why instead of using the magic that was purely defensive or offensive, like would have been expected of him, and like he had first planned on doing. Harry decided to also use other types of magic that was out there.

To show the ranges of spells he had well that and to show magic really wasn't only made for battle. Magic to transfigure things around the robots to trip them up or capture them in ways they could get away from. To spells to freeze the floor under the robots then proceeded to float the robots up using levitations spells. Not to mention repairing the area around the robots that had been destroyed after he was done.

Harry threw out a good twenty different spells doing this, and managed to take down not only the robots that had been waiting for him when he entered the room but had also taken care of the extra robots that appeared after his testing had already began. Apparently having been 'woken' up when the test in question seemed to be too easy for him in the beginning.

All and all he spent maybe twenty minutes doing all of this and he knew it only took that long as he had been a little creative with his spell work he had done so that the others could get a more through full scope of what he could do.

Once he had gotten out of the room, he had first been tested in he had been greeted with the sight of who he knew then as Eraserhead staring hard at him, and the detective having a rather oddly deadpan look on his face. Why this was Harry had quickly gotten his answer when Eraserhead asked, or really more like demanded to know.

"You've been in plenty of fights for your life before haven't you." Hearing this Harry thought that he had told them that he had been in a war before but perhaps he hadn't and instead just answered the man's question instead.

"Yes, for the last several years now."

This got Harry a nod from man before he continued to grill Harry for answers as apparently Harry's test had caused some sort of concerns in the Hero's mind. But honestly Harry couldn't find it in him to care too much about that as the questions he was answering would hopefully get him some of his own answers as well.

"So, considering you seemed to have fought, rather easily at that, against those robots, can you tell me if you've felt any changes in your body? As that did seem to be one of your main concerns considering you said you apparently merged with a Neko form of sort."

Hearing this Harry paused for a second as he mentally wondered if he should answer this; as it could end up being used against him like so many other things had been. That is before remembering that hiding information from the hero that he was going to be living with for a bit really wasn't a good idea; especially considering Teddy would be there with him as well. And for that matter he really didn't have a reason to hide it either. So, knowing this, Harry was able to reply to what he had been asked.

"Yes, I could feel a difference and my early thoughts were right, my eyesight seems to have increased along with my strength and speed. Hell, my reaction time is a lot quicker as I seem to notice an attack coming before I can even see it. Though just how far this goes I am not totally sure…. Oh, and my hearing has also increased but considering I now have cat ears on my head I already knew that"

This got Harry a nod and a hard stare at both his ears and tails before Aizawa was once more speaking; his tone taking a rather reluctant feel to it as he did so. Almost as if he really didn't want to say what he was going to say but felt the really wasn't much of a choice in the matter at the same time.

"Alight, we can test that all out later. But its getting late and the sun should be rising soon, I want to get to bed before that happens. So, is there anything else I should know before we go?"

Hearing this last bit Harry swore that the earring, which had shifted in place to his more cat like ears, and necklace he was wearing got a bit heavier while his tattoo seemed to have warmed up a bit as well. Feeling this Harry once more found himself inwardly debating and once more realized that hiding something like that would only hurt him in the long run.

Besides he also reminded himself that the detective listing in on the conversation did have a quirk that let him know when others where lying, and he got the feeling that if he did lie now he would destroy the very little amount of trust he had gained from the others. And in doing that might also put himself, and more importantly his son, in trouble by doing so.

As apparently there was someone out there that the two seemed to be really weary about letting know about either his magic or even him as a whole. A someone or most likely a group of someone's that Harry himself didn't know anything about. Which could very well be a hidden threat to him.

Not only that but considering that he was going to be living in Eraserhead's house, or at least he would as long as he did have some trust from the hero in question, then there was no way he could hide it either way. So, knowing all of that Harry began to speak once more, choosing his words carefully as he did so.

"I do want to check a couple of things besides my magic and what coming here did to my body…" Here Harry paused a bit a fiddled with the earring in his now cat like ears before deciding how he wanted to word this.

"I had trouble trusting people back in my world, one of the reasons being how badly they talked about Teddy or use him as an excuse to get me to do what they wanted. And the other being the fact that I had a reason to be rather paranoid at times." Here Harry grimaced a bit before continuing.

"Considering what I know would classify as a villain here had taken over part of the government for several months. Making it so my supposed friends and I had been on the run for a bit and because at that time we had barely been prepared for that I want to ensure something like that wouldn't happen again. Well, that and a degree of spit." Here there was a pause but before he could be asked just what he meant by what he just said Harry continued.

"What I am trying to get at is that due to magic and several things that it can do I have basically everything that me and my family owned on me. Well besides the actually housing and that really doesn't matter considering some of the other items I have. Or had, I am not sure. The Veil may have changed that when I came through. But as far as I can tell it hasn't, but I do need to check that over to be completely sure."

This gained Harry yet another look before Aizawa seemed to drag out of his thought, as if he knew he needed the answer but really didn't want to ask in the first place for fear of said answer.

"Just what do you mean by this and just how are you going to check whatever that is?" And Harry swore the Hero in question looked ready to scream at the grin Harry gave him before he answered him.

End Flashback

Thinking back on this Harry had to give what he knew was a very similar shit eating grin when he recalled just how Aizawa reacted to Harry necklace, Earring, and the tattoo. All of which he had been, and honestly still was for the most part, using as storage for everything he and Teddy owned.

Which, as Harry had found out, had been changed but not as much as he feared it would have been. If anything, it seemed to adapt to the world he was now part of; just like he himself had. The changes in question being something that Harry could easily accept. As he found gold he had, had been shifted so it was no longer Gallons but similar sized coins; though slightly heavier and unmarked.

At the same time, it did seem to be less than he had originally had, that or the Gallons he did have combined together to make the newer heavier, most likely purer, gold coins he had now. As Harry, despite making deals with them or perhaps because he made deals with them, wouldn't put it past to goblins to 'thin' the gold they used for the wizarding money.

But at the same time considering the fact there had been actual dropped jaws from both Aizawa as well as the Detective when they saw just what he had in his trunk; and that was after they had recovered from Harry unshrinking the trunks in question.

Harry knew it was still more than he could likely spend in own life time. And that was when you don't consider the fact the jewels he had. Which were both cut gems as well as jewelry his family had over the last couple of hundreds of years; all neatly placed in order and organized so as not to table or scratch up each other.

So yes, Harry knew he was covered when it came to actual money... even if he did have to swear to not flood the market with gold and double check with either Aizawa or Tsukauch before he did trade in any gold. Something Harry could understand though still found the looks he had gained back than humorous.

Looks that had only gotten even funnier the more Harry checked on his hidden trunks, particularly the one he had hidden in his tattoo. And that was nothing compared to the looks he gained when he pulled out on of his magical tents, though it seemed in that case the Veil had only let him keep the tents that was similar to a small apartment with a single room, a single bathroom, a kitchen and a full bathroom; that or downgraded all the tents he had to that which would explain why he had four of the same tents.

Unfortunately, Harry himself didn't have any idea how to make said tents. Same for the bottomless pouches, even if he did seem to have a good number of those from his family vaults and books on how they were made so he could maybe eventually learn how to make them if he put the effort into them.

Which considering the looks that he got from Aizawa when he saw the tents, the pouches and what they did as well as even the tattoo they had all came out of Aizawa did seem to look partially interested in them. And had been later asked if it could be replicated without the wearing having magic use them as they would be extremely helpful in hero work.

Which was something that Harry was currently working on. As he knew all of those things used magic even subconsciously so it would take some serious work on his part to make things like that available without magic. But it could perhaps be done with runes and adding his own magic as a battery. But then what would happen when that battery ran dry. He would have to work on that.

However not at the moment considering the fact that Aizawa had just informed him that he wanted Harry to see his boss, and the fact said boss might have an idea how to help not only Harry but Teddy as well. Something was all for, though he was a little weary considering the look on Aizawa's face, he knew a pranking or set up face, and he was sure the hero in question was currently wearing one. Something that was rare enough that it really had Harry question just what the hell was going on and why the look was on Aizawa face now of all time. All he could do was follow the man in question and find out.

A,n- You have no idea just how tempted I was to make it so that the energy blast that Harry let off during his testing did shut the robots down just for the pure humorous reactions that doing so could have caused. But I figured given all the quirks that are around like electric and effecting probability things that the people of that world would have made it so their electronics and similar things to them wouldn't be as badly affected. But still was tempted.
