Chapter 19 Merry Christmas

It was snowing and Ryu goes around swinging a bell around with a pot.
"Merry Christmas." He said.
Many threw change at the pot and even a few dollars.
"At least it's better than nothing." He said.
After some time he takes the pot to the place he's working at and got the pay for today, he goes off and enters a store to buy a couple of presents for his siblings.
"Dueling is fun, but it doesn't pay that well when theres no tournaments to compete in." He said.
Ryu comes out with many gifts as he goes back home and when he tries to open the door someone did it.
"Thank you." He goes foward.
"Well it's nothing." Itsuki said.
"Yeah, well you girls..." He then got surprised. "Wait, how did you get in, my siblings didn't come back yet."
"Well Mika gave us a key." She said.
"Seriously?" He said.
He saw the rest of the girls there and Yotsuba waves at him. "Hey Ryu!"
Ryu sighs and goes foward setting the presents on the sides.
"So you got gifts for your siblings?" Ichika said.
"Well yeah, as the big brother it's my job to get them gifts." He said.
"Well it's nice." Miku said.
"Are you really going to all that trouble for specific ones?" Nino said.
"I gotta, Mimi wanted a certain doll." He said.
"I wanted a doll to like her." Yotsuba said.
"We all wanted dolls." Itsuki said.
"Still can you girls help me out." He said.
"Of course, what do you need?" Ichika said.
"I'm going to prepare for dinner, since Mikan had the food ready before going out, can you set up the table as I get the plates." He said.
"Okay!" They said.
They went to help out with that, Miku was helping Ryu carry a few boxes of plates to the table before they went out.
"Thanks for the help Miku." He said.
"Yes." She nodded.
Miku looks at Ryu and blushes being close to him, they kept going and they saw the snow fall down the streets.
"You know, just seeing the snow makes it all worth it at the end." Ryu said.
"Huh?" Miku said.
"Just seeing it, it reminds me the times when Mikan was really young and the others too, where our parents used to take us around to play in the snow." He said.
Miku was surprised he's telling her a story but she smiles as she remembers they're mother doing the same for her and her sisters.
"I used to go near and make dragon images on the snow, Mikan would ask me to make a snowman with her since she needed help." He said.
Miku remembers her own sisters making a snowman of they're own and it was good times.
"Do you think they would like if you take them out, they would like it?" Miku said.
"You know what, they probably will." He said.
He looks up and chuckles a bit.
"What's wrong?" Miku said.
"It seems my sisters left a surprise." Ryu said.
Miku got confused and looks up, she then blushes since it was a mistletoe.
"Mistle... Toe." She said.
"Rules are rules." He shrugs.
She looks before Ryu kisses her on the lips and she passes out on his arms making him look in surprise.
The girls saw that and they gasped.
"What did you do?!" Nino said.
"Look." Ryu points at the mistletoe.
The girls saw that and pouted since Miku got a kiss from Ryu.
"Well i'll take her to the couch." Ryu takes her away.
The siblings came and the younger ones cheered with Mikan holding Kotaro since she was in charge looking after him.
"Well you got it all ready." Minato said.
"As your big bro it's what I do." Ryu said.
Miku was still red looking down with her sisters staring at her.
"Say, how about we all go out tomorrow and have fun in the snow after this like the good old days." Ryu said.
"Yay!" The younger kids cheered as Mika and Minato smiled.
"It's like back then." Mikan said.
Ryu nodded and Nino brings out cookies. "Hey, I baked some if you guys want."
Mimi came first with Ken following her as they eat her treats with big smiles on they're faces.
"It's so good." Mimi said.
"Thank you." Nino was a little nervous.
"Also your big brother brought you gifts." Ichika said.
"Really?!" The two of them said.
"Hey, that's for tomorrow." Ryu said.
"Sorry, I wanted to see they're reactions." Ichika said.
"Hey do we get gifts too?" Yotsuba said.
"Later, tomorrow like them okay." Ryu said.
"Okay." She said.
"Well it is nice that he got us gifts." Itsuki said.
Ryu shrugs since he wanted to be nice to his friends.
"So what are we going to do now?" Mimi said.
"Let's eat dinner okay, Nino and the girls prepared something special with Mikan's food." Ryu said.
"Oh you cooked too?" Mikan said.
"Of course, since we wanted to help out too." Nino said.
They all went to the table and Mimi looks at Miku who's still blushing. "Are you sick?"
Miku shakes her head for no.
"Don't worry about her." Ryu said.
It was kind of his fault for doing that but he just wanted to be nice.
"Let's just enjoy the food." Itsuki said.
Kotaro nodded as Mikan feeds him and they all had a nice Christmas Eve together.
Ryu smiles looking around at the scene since it reminds him more of the times they were together with they're parents and he's glad the girls came to bring more to joy to them all.
He looks outside a window to the sky. Mom, dad I hope you can see us be happy together.

Note: Heres a special Christmas chapter for this story with Miku actually having a real kiss, since in the show she never got one unlike her sisters even Yotsuba kissed the main character on the cheek.
