From the right of his throne, a figure steps out of the shadows in the form of a young-looking girl with long hair the same shade of pink as the man's tied up in two pig tails by black hair pins with a black dress that is frilled at the ends.

"Tell us once again what you witnessed."

"Yes Lord Father," she says going into a bow before continuing. "I was only able to catch a glimpse of it but I witnessed a boy with blonde and red hair take Valerie and two other half-bloods from the castle after he, Shinobu and his cat yokai companion slaughtered the guards posted there."

"Hoh? And you just watched and let some of our best soldiers be slaughtered? How cowardly Krul."

A low growl comes from the girl as she gazes in the direction of the owner of the new voice, "shut your mouth Marius lest I do the task for you."

Small chuckles emanate from the left of King Tepes as another figure steps out from the shadows, revealing a tall young man with strawberry blonde hair and sharp red eyes, "oh my, where was all of that fire when you watched our own precious little half-breed sister get kidnapped? Surely you could have done something to make sure we didn't lose such a valuable asset to a traitor and her unknown allies."

Krul bares her fangs at her brother as her growls get deeper. He has no right to call her a coward! All that weak fool does is shut himself in a room and study sacred gears all day and her fury at him only increases when he refers to Valerie as an 'asset'.

Just as she is about to pounce to rip that smug look from his face, a hand finds itself placed on her head, "now, now, Marius. That's no way to talk to her," a woman's voice says as its owner appears next to the pink-haired vampire with a smile. "Besides, we both know Shinobu is second to none with a blade, poor Krul would either be dead or stuck regenerating for days if she went out to fight. Let alone what is said her allies could do."

Krul looks up at the woman seeing long blonde hair and a voluptuous figure with the right side of her body having a jagged black armor that covers an arm and a leg. While the rest of her body glows molten gold, covering her modesty.

"You, Krul and Marius may leave now. I have much to discuss with the council about this new problem that has just arisen."

"Of course father." Both Krul and Wilhelmina say, going into a bow, while Marius looks as if he is about to protest. Only to be cowed by the look his father gives him. Leading him to stomp off angrily as the other two sisters leave as well.

Once they all leave King Tepes goes back to facing everyone sitting at the table before one of the vampires speaks up. "So what shall we do about this turn of events My Lord? Without Princess Valerie's sacred gear, a decisive victory against the Carmilla would be impossible."

"Yes, yes. I know." The king replies, leaning back in his chair, "Kiss-Shot struck a major blow against our war effort, and though it pains me to say it, she is a traitor that needs to be dealt with. Her thralls as well."

Sighing and rubbing his forehead, he continues, "I had hoped disciplining her by paying those Carmilla assassins to steal her power would be enough but it seems she was able to defeat them somehow. So I suppose more drastic measures need to be taken and seeing as one of her bitten is a cat yokai I will have to use the one assassin of ours that resides in Japan."

Murmurs ring out from the other vampire lords at that before one of them speaks up.

"My Lord, do you mean her?"

King Tepes nods and leans forward, "yes, all that girl does is bring misfortune and despair wherever she goes thanks to her curse. Therefore, if we send her after Shinobu and her cohort there is no doubt they will meet their end."

"But what of retrieving Valerie?" One of the other noble vampires speaks up. "Surely that girl would not be capable of bringing her back alive due to her curse."

"Yes, I'm well aware. which is why I'm sending someone else to aid her."

Snapping his fingers, a figure clad in a red cloak appears next to the king in a kneeling position. Looking down at the figure, the king leans forward. "Have you heard the description Krul has given about Shinobu and her thralls?" Seeing the figure nod he continues, "good, based on the fact one of them is a cat yokai they seem to be from Japan so you will be working with our assassin stationed in that country."(3)

The figure twitches slightly at that, "do you mean I will be working with Saya?"

"Indeed. Go there, make sure they die by her hand and bring Valerie back to me unharmed. It would do us no good if she is incapable of using her sacred gear to strengthen our forces."

The figure looks up, revealing a white mask with black designs and a red gem in the center of the forehead, "and what of the two half-breeds they took as well?"

The king scoffs and waves that notion off, "let that girl kill them as well. Just bring Valerie back here so that we may win this war once and for all."

"Yes, My Lord," the figure says, bowing their head once more and melding into the shadows.

Gazing back up at the various heads of the vampire clans under the Tepes faction, the King once again leans back on his throne, "now we wait and consolidate our forces. Once Valerie is back within our grasp we will strike out at the Carmilla once again."

While the elder vampires continue to discuss their situation neither of them notice a small one-eyed bat that flies off towards the hallway.

-Tepes Castle, Hallway-

Krul's pointed ears twitch as the small bat familiar gets closer and lands on her shoulder. "Welcome back Arukanu. Did you hear everything they had to say?" Upon seeing the small creature nod, she smiles and bites her thumb hard enough to draw blood, bringing it up so her familiar can drink. "Good boy."

Next to her Wilhelmina chuckles, "your familiar is as useful as ever Krul, makes me wish I decided to get one when you did. Though I think I'd like a wolf instead, that would probably suit my way of fighting more."

No help is needed, which is good because we can focus on our own plans now that Valerie is in safe hands with Shinobu and her bitten."

The combination of already being riled up by Shinobu and him giving into his vampiric nature had him pounding the Tepes princess as if she wasn't a virgin.

Luckily, being a dhampir and having access to his blood meant any damage that could have been done was healed quickly but it wasn't the same for Kunou even with the healing factor of a yokai.

"I'm fine Naruto, just a bit sore, but can you do something for me?"

"Sure. What do you need?"

"Can you…bite me?"

"I already said I wanted you to be a bit older before-"

Kunou rapidly shakes her head and cuts him off, "no, I didn't mean I wanted you to turn me. I just wanted you to suck my blood..I heard Tsubasa talking about how good it felt and I wanted to see," she confesses while shyly looking away, besides, I'm the only one you haven't done that to yet."

"I guess that's true," he mutters, only spurring her on as she wraps her arms around his neck and brings him closer.

"Then please, before you go can you suck my blood too?"

As his face is buried into her collar Naruto can feel his fangs extend as his lips make contact with her throat.

From the side, Yasaka watches with a smile as Naruto finally gives in and sinks his fangs deep into Kunou, making the young fox arch her back and moan as the pleasure of having her life fluid sucked out races through her body.

She'll let the two have their moment for now, but after it would be her turn again.

She still had many more ways she wished to say goodbye after all.
