Aoi Hyoudou: It's that time of the year when I write random Christmas theme drabbles or one-shots. This time, it's going to be an amusing encounter with Ash and Santa Salter (aka Artoria Alter). It won't serve any significance, but a fun drabble, so don't even try asking how an FGO servant found her way into the world of Pokémon. She's a Santa, after all.

...

Ash Ketchum, who had recently been crowned as the Monarch, had returned to his hometown of Pallet Town just in time to spend the holidays with his mother, Delia Ketchum. However, Ash noticed that his mother was cooking a lot of meat products, with a particular emphasis on fried chicken. It almost seemed as if she was expecting a large number of guests to join them for the holidays.

Ash called out to Delia as she set a fresh batch of fried chicken on the counter, "Mom?"

"Yes, honey?" the young mother replied as she glanced at her son.

"Are we expecting guests for dinner? What's with the fried chicken?" Delia chuckled.

"No, Ash, this is actually for Santa," she said, causing Ash and even Pikachu to look at her with confusion.

"Um, what?" he said, confused. He always thought Santa's favorite snack combo was milk and cookies, not fried food.

"Oh, I guess you haven't heard."

"Heard what?" Ash asked curiously.

"This year's Santa's actually a woman."

"Wait, what?" said the Monarch in surprise. "What about the real Santa Claus?" he asked.

"He's on a vacation."

"Oh..."

"The new Santa enjoys junk food rather than milk and cookies so I wanted to make sure she felt welcomed by frying up some chicken. While burgers are her favorite food, fried chicken is the next best thing," Delia explained to her son. However, her son appeared to be still confused and didn't quite understand why they were preparing such food for Santa.

"Okay..." he responded hesitantly.

"So, please don't bother her too much when she visits later tonight, okay?" Delia pleaded with her son, hoping he would cooperate and not make things difficult for their guest.

"I will try..."

Later that night...

...

Nightfall had descended over Pallet Town, and Ash sat on his sofa, gazing at the flickering flames of the fireplace. A plate of freshly fried chicken sat on the coffee table, untouched, while Pikachu lay curled up next to him, fast asleep. The clock was ticking towards midnight, and Ash had yet to catch a glimpse of the elusive female Santa. The house was quiet, and an eerie silence hung in the air, punctuated only by the soft crackling of the fire. As the minutes ticked by, Ash began to wonder if the female Santa was just a figment of his imagination. Was it possible that his mom had been playing an elaborate prank on him? He couldn't help but feel a little disappointed at the thought of not getting to meet the legendary gift-giver.

Ash stood up and stretched his body, feeling a little disappointed that his wait had been in vain. But just as he was about to give up hope, he heard a faint sound coming from the kitchen. Curious, he made his way towards the source of the noise, wondering if it could be the elusive female Santa he had been waiting for. As he entered the kitchen, he saw a figure dressed in a black version of Santa's outfit. It was a Santa Salter, or Artoria Alter, as she was known in some circles. Ash was taken aback by her unexpected appearance. As Ash's eyes met with Santa Artoria Alter's, he couldn't help but feel a little starstruck. He watched as she chewed on a fried chicken drumstick, savoring every bite. For a moment, they just stood there, staring at each other in silence. The sound of Santa Artoria Alter's chewing echoed through the awkward silence that had fallen between them. Ash was still in shock at the unexpected visit, but he quickly collected himself and demanded to know how she had gotten into his house without his knowledge.

"How did you get inside?" Santa Artoria Alter simply threw a thumb over her shoulder while taking another bite of her food. Ash's eyes followed her gesture and he noticed a huge hole in the kitchen wall. "What happened to the kitchen?!" he nearly shouted, his voice rising in surprise. The sudden outburst almost woke Pikachu from his slumber.

Santa Artoria Alter looked amused by Ash's reaction. "Oh, that? I'm afraid I got a little carried away while trying to make my way down the chimney. It seems I may have misjudged my size a bit," she explained, taking another bite of her food.

Ash couldn't help but shake his head in disbelief. "But that's not even close to the chimney! Why would you even try to come in through the kitchen wall?"

Santa Artoria Alter simply shrugged. "Sometimes, even Santa needs to improvise," she said with a smug smile.

"Still...there's not a good reason for you to destroy-," Ash began to say but was suddenly cut off when Santa Artoria Alter shoved her fried chicken drumstick into his mouth, effectively silencing his rant. The unexpected gesture, which felt like an indirect kiss, left Ash momentarily frozen and lost for words.

Santa Artoria Alter couldn't help but enjoy the Monarch's priceless expression, as she took another bite of her fried chicken. "You're quite the interesting young champion, Ash. I can see why Pikachu likes you so much," she said with a chuckle.

Ash blushed at the compliment, feeling a little embarrassed.

"But enough about that," Santa Artoria Alter said with the drumstick still in her mouth. She then reached into her bag and pulled out a beautifully wrapped gift. "This is for you, young champion. Merry Christmas!" She had an amused smile on her face as if she was enjoying the whole experience.

"Thank you, Miss Santa," Ash said with a smile, accepting the gift.

"That's Artoria to you, kid," she said smugly, correcting him.

Awww, what a cute encounter, but RIP to the kitchen wall, though. Anyway, I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. ^.^
