Ms Diaz: Why yes I do! *Brings out her pet tarantula* this is Edgar! Hes a tarantula!

Ms Diaz: Yes I do its more common than you think Mimi! They're very interesting creatures!
Stanley: Well he sure looks pretty I didnt know tarantulas could be blue!
Ms Diaz: Hes a gooty sapphire tarantula! I found him in a pet store on my trip to India a while back! Now who would like to go up next?

Marci: He sleeps in his den we built for him but sometimes he comes up to us and sleep in our bed!

Mimi: Well we were watching Stanley's pets do all sorts of tricks one day and we were thinking about getting a pet like him!
Marci: But we werent sure on what type of pets we could get and what our parents would allow so we consulted with Dennis Harry and Elsie about if we wanted a cat dog or goldfish
Mimi: But in the end with Stanley's help we decided that a bunny would best suit our needs and our parents thought it was the most convenient pet to take care of!
Marci: So we went to the pet store and thats how we got Jackie! We named him after my favorite baseball player Jackie Robinson!
Ms Diaz: Thats a great story girls! Is it ok if I pet him?
Marci: Sure Ms Diaz! Hes very friendly

Dennis: Well lets see.. if a snail and you were in a race and you started running you would run a mile within 10 minutes whereas if a snail were to move a whole mile it would take around 33 hours for it to reach the finish line!
Harry: Man thats really slow! I couldnt imagine being that slow!
Dennis: There is another animal who is similar to the snail *Spins around in water* what animal do you think shares similarities with the snail? A fish? A turtle? Or a spider?
Elsie: Uhhhhh well spiders and snails are both insects..
Dennis: Actually Elsie snails are not actually insects! They're called gastropods
Lester: Oh a turtle! Because they both move very slow and they both have shells!

Stanley: Why does it feel like I have a ton of teeth all of a sudden?
Dennis: Snails dont have jaws but they can have over 20,000 teeth! Imagine what your mom would have to do if every patient of hers had that many teeth at the dentist!
Stanley: She would be exhausted thats for sure! And it'd be impossible to keep them all clean!
Harry: *Looks down at Stanley* Let me see all those teeth!
Stanley: *Sees Harry staring at him and from his POV hes really big* AHHHHH *Hides in shell*

Dennis: He went in his shell!

Elsie: No dont worry he was just scared because from his perspective you're a giant!

Dennis: Oh yeah! He went in his shell because his instincts sensed danger! Even though Harry would obviously never hurt Stanley he still sensed something would hurt him! Thats to protect him for actual predators

Dennis: Most of them are herbivores meaning they only eat plants but some can be carnivores!
Marci: And what if the shell breaks? Can they find a new one like the hermit crab?
Dennis: Unfortunately no.. if their shell breaks it could kill them because the shell not only protects them from predators its where a lot of their vital organs they need to survive are stored
Stanley: *Comes out* Thats awful.. we should be careful next time we see a snail
Lester: Hey you know its like the saying of coming out of your shell! We went too fast like a cheetah when introducing ourselves to Teresa yet we should be slow like a snail if we want her to come out of her shell!

Marci: Hopefully better enough to present in front of the class soon

Mark: Mrs Kirby said it was ok for Teresa to have a sleepover at our house!

Lionel: Nice I should show off my guitar skills to her just so she gets a feel on what its like to be a musician

Joyce: So how was school guys?
Stanley: It was great! I got to show off Dennis Harry and Elsie to the whole class and they loved them!
Teresa: And I got to show off Taffy
Mark: Taffy?
Teresa: Yeah hes my pet turtle
Lionel: Dont you have a turtle in class Stanley?
Stanley: Yeah Oscar! I was thinking he and Taffy would get along!
Joyce: I must say Teresa you seem to have come out of your shell quite a bit! You're much more social than last time I saw you!
Teresa: Oh yeah.. thanks Mrs Griff.. I had some help from Stanley and his friends..

Elsie: I had a nice time at the school.. all the kids there are super friendly
Stanley: Yeah im glad you all decided to come with me! And helped Teresa out with her nervousness!
Dennis: And learned a lot about snails! Like how there are over 60,000 species of snails both on land and underwater!
Harry: And how they have over 20,000 teeth which is a lot!
Stanley: And that slimy stuff they leave behind when they move is mucus they need to survive
Elsie: And sometimes you have to be slow like a snail rather than fast like a cheetah
Stanley: But you wanna know one thing that did move fast as a cheetah?
Dennis: Whats that Stanley?
Stanley: My love for you guys! As soon as I saw you I have always loved you!
Harry: Me too dude! It took a while for Elsie to love me though..
Elsie: The important thing though Harry is that I love you *now* and always will..
