On Harry's birthday they learned to speak dolphin to communicate to each other about his surprise without him knowing its about his party so I thought of the fact foxes have tons of communication sounds too so they can talk in fox for Elsie's party planning since she knows about the dolphin talk from Harry's birthday and they dont want her remembering that and figuring out what they're planning
Elsie: *Waking up first all excited* Today's the day! My special day all about me! I gotta wake up the others!
*Everyone still sleeping*
Elsie: Guys guys! *Jumping on the bed* wake up its a special day today!
Harry: Special day? Am I getting a new toy! Yay!
Elsie: No its not that Harry- its all about me!
Harry: Its always about you isnt it..
Stanley: What day is it today Elsie?
Elsie: You guys dont remember?
Stanley: Hmmmmmmm.. its Saturday?
Elsie: Well yes but thats not why its special! Hmm- im gonna go downstairs and eat breakfast while you boys figure it out.. *Walks down annoyed*
Harry: Im confused whats so special about today?
Dennis: You dont remember? Its Elsie's birthday today!
Stanley: Oh thats right it is! I didnt even get her anything..
Harry: I thought she already had a birthday-
Dennis: Shes had 6 birthdays before and now its her 7th! She has a birthday every year just like we do Harry
Harry: Oh wow thats a lot of birthdays..
Stanley: Shes about as old as all of us but now what do we do? We dont have a party planned or anything! Shes gonna be so upset!
Dennis: Now dont panic Stanley we can still come up with a party for her we have plenty of time!
Stanley: If you say so- im gonna get my friends and come up with a plan on how to be sneaky about it..
*He gets Lester Marci and Mimi over to discuss a plan*
Lester: Oh I know! Why dont we use dolphin talk like we did Harry's birthday
Stanley: No shes gonna know what we're using it for she helped us with that remember? What other animals have different calls and sounds like dolphins do..
Marci: Not only that but we gotta be sneaky about it!
Dennis: I know of an animal who has distinct calls and are known to be quite sly! Foxes! Foxes have varying calls out in the forest and are very cheeky animals
Stanley: Oh yeah a fox! They're known to be sneaky! And I know just where to look them up.. in the great big-
Dennis: No shhhh! Be quiet.. we cant have Elsie here wondering what we're up to..

Dennis: *Sigh* I guess we werent sneaky enough to keep them from singing huh..
Harry and Elsie: Hiding around can be tricky lets ask a fox how to be sneakyyyyyyyyy!
Elsie: Speaking of which whats the occasion for learning about foxes Stanley?
Stanley: Oh ummmmmm.. we're playing hide and seek and we wanna know how to be better hiders?
Elsie: *She starts getting sad* Oh… ok.. I'll be outside then sleeping..
Harry: Awwww why is she so sad?
Dennis: Because she thinks we forgot her birthday
Stanley: But dont worry we didnt forget! Now lets see fox starts with F.. F- fox here we go!
Harry: Oh let me see! Wow they look kinda like dogs!
Dennis: You'd be correct because foxes are part of the canine family!
Harry: Canine? Whats a canine?
Dennis: A canine is a group of animals that share similar traits to each other like wolves or foxes or coyotes or dogs like yourself!
Harry: Im a canine? I thought I was a dog!
Dennis: You are a dog Harry but your species belongs in the canine family whereas Elsie belongs in the feline family with animals such as lions tigers panthers and regular cats like her
Stanley: Wow look at all these different types of foxes! I didnt know there were so many!
Dennis: Indeed there are! There are over 37 types of foxes however only 12 of which are considered "true foxes" some examples include the red fox which is the most common well known fox, the arctic fox, the fennec fox, the grey fox, and the rüppell's sand fox
Lester: Thats a lot of foxes Dennis! But how exactly are they sneaky?
Dennis: Well lets hop in the book and find out shall we?
Marci: Yeah lets go!
Harry: Can I join? I wanna help with the planning! She helped me with my birthday and I wanna return the favor! Shes my best friend!
Dennis: Of course you can join us!

*In the forest*

Dennis: We're in the forest where foxes roam around!
*A loud sound that sounds like screaming can be heard*
Harry: AHHHHH what was that?!
Lester: I dont know but it sounded bad!
Stanley: Is someone hurt?!
Dennis: No no dont be afraid thats just a Vixen's Scream it does sound like a woman getting hurt but its really just a mating call for female foxes who are called vixens though males use it too for unknown reasons
Stanley: It sounds really creepy..
Harry: Yeah it does… you sure no one's hurt?
Dennis: Dont worry no one else is here but us
*Foxes start barking*
Harry: Hey theres another dog here!
Dennis: Nope thats still the foxes thats an alarm bark its how they communicate to other foxes of potential predators nearby and since they see us they think we're predators
Marci: Awwww its ok little fox we're not gonna hurt you! *Goes to pet it*
Stanley: Wait Marci dont try and pet it! It could bite you!
Marci: I've been bit by dogs before and it stops hurting after a few minutes!
Dennis: Fox bites are different than dog bites. Foxes potentially have rabies which can cause you to foam at the mouth and you start getting really sick and die from it! Theres really no cure for it yet
Marci: Oh no- I should stay away then
Dennis: Unfortunately some foxes like the arctic fox are an endangered species
Mimi: They are?
Stanley: Thats terrible!
Dennis: Yes unfortunately some people tend to poach or hunt foxes for their fur to make clothes out of them.. so humans can be a predator towards them
Lester: Who would ever do that to a poor fox!
Dennis: Foxes are sadly not the only animals who are hunted for their fur
Stanley: Can they be fast enough to avoid the hunters?
Dennis: Yes foxes can stealth themselves at night time because of their small size and move through the forest as quietly as a mouse which is how they're able to escape predators and steal stuff from people like a raccoon does and can also be very observant they always observe their surroundings carefully and avoiding traps
Stanley: We can do that! Marci and Mimi can observe the area while me Lester and Dennis help get the party set up! If you see her coming try to make the sound a fox makes!
Marci and Mimi: Gotcha Stanley!
Harry: What do I do?
Stanley: You keep Elsie distracted
Harry: Im on it dude! Im great at distracting people!
Dennis: Foxes are also very agile and fast so we should get this done quick!
*They leave the book and start the party preparing*
Stanley: This is gonna be so fun once its all set up!
Dennis: I agree! This will surely- *Crying upstairs* hey do you guys hear something?
Mimi: Yeah.. it sounds like Elsie..
Dennis: And she doesnt sound too happy.. almost sounds like crying

Dennis: Its probably because shes still under the assumption we forgot her birthday! Harry go check up on her will you?

*He goes to the room Elsie is crying in*

You forget our friendship anniversary you forget my birthday you forget everything special about me and I know you're not that smart but I thought you'd care enough to remember my birthday! Harry: Elsie im.. im sorry I dont mean to forget.. its just hard for me to keep track of so many dates! Stanley's birthday and Dennis' birthday and the whole family's and friends birthdays! Its not just you I forgot Elsie! I forget even my own birthday!
Elsie: But I thought we were best friends.. we sing together and play together and do everything.. but im not good enough for you to remember my special day.. *Cries*
Harry: Im sorry.. I'll make it up to you.. I promise.. *Licks her*
Elsie: Ewwww- I dont want your dog germs right now! Im just gonna go to the living room and take another nap and sleep my birthday away.. since no one cares..
Mimi: Uhhhhhh *Makes a fox bark*
Stanley: Oh no Elsie's coming! We gotta hurry!
Harry: Uhhh no no! *Blocks her* you dont need to go down there! Uhhhhh you can cuddle with me on the bed! Upstairs!

Elsie: Save it! I dont wanna talk to you right now! You forget everything! All I wanted for my birthday was for my best friend to remember it and celebrate it with me instead of sleeping but no! I couldnt even get that! After 7 years! You never cared!
Dennis: Oh dear.. that doesnt sound good..
Lester: Is everything ok up there guys?
Marci: No it seems Harry and Elsie are arguing.. she was crying and now shes mad at him for forgetting her birthday
Stanley: Are we almost done? I dont want her getting even more upset
Dennis: Yep we're almost done! Your mother just got finished making her cake and once thats set we're good to go!
Lester: We were very sneaky werent we?
Dennis: We sure were! Hopefully Elsie will have her face lit right up!
Joyce: Ok the cake is all done!
Stanley: Coming mom! *Gets the cake and brings it out to the table*
Harry: *Sniffs* Oooooooh that smells good!

Marci: Ok everything's set!

Elsie: Wow its so pretty.. this is everything I could ever want..
Harry: And in the traditional fox language of barking like dogs try to translate this! *Barks*

Harry: Close! But thats fox for I love you Elsie! *Licks her* sorry for forgetting your birthday in the past but I said I'd make it up to you! Isnt this the perfect way to?
Elsie: Yes… yes it is.. *Nuzzles Harry while purring loudly* and I love you too.. im sorry for yelling at you..
Harry: Its ok dudette! I understand why you did.. but enough feeling down lets celebrate!
Dennis: Yes we all love you Elsie this is your special day so lets have a party!
*After a long day of partying*
Stanley: That was a fun party..
Elsie: It sure was my outfit was stunning and everything was perfect.. *Nuzzles against Stanley* thank you so much!
Stanley: *Pets her* Haha no problem Elsie anything for my favorite cat!
Elsie: Is that why you were learning about foxes? To be discreet?
Stanley: Whats that mean?
Elsie: Its another word for being sneaky
Stanley: Oh yeah and not only that but there are a whole ton of different foxes! And how fast and sneaky they all are
Dennis: Dont forget the fact they have a ton of different ways to communicate just like something like a dolphin!
Harry: And I learned that I gotta start remembering special occasions more..
