This idea came to me during a conversation with robotman25 and I just had to do it. :)
Skylanders belongs to Activision. Blaze, Flare, Viola, Azula, Astrid, Luna, and Violet belong to robotman25. I only own Rachel, Autumn, and Speedlight.
Christmas Fun And Silliness
"Okay, can you hand me another one, sweetie?" Rachel asked her eldest niece, Flare.
"Okay, Aunty," the little girl said, handing her aunt another sprig of mistletoe.
Rachel was floating around near the ceiling, hanging up mistletoe decorations on the garland the Mabu had so kindly put up earlier. The room was empty at the moment save for Rachel, her children, and her nieces. Autumn and Speedlight were watching over Azula, Luna, and Violet while Astrid, Viola, and Flare helped their aunt with the mistletoe, all floating thanks to the young woman's telekinesis.
"Daddy and Mommy will kiss under one?" Viola asked, handing another one to Rachel.
"That's right, honey," the Tech/Fire Portal Master said as they finished hanging the mistletoe.
Astrid peeked into the box. "There's still a lot left," she said.
"Yeah, but there's a mistletoe over every archway," Flare pointed out.
"Hmm," Rachel hummed. "Let's get back to the ground and we'll see what we can do with these."
She floated them all gently to the ground and Autumn heard something, peeking down the hallway to see a group of Skylanders coming. "Someone's coming," she said to her family.
"Well, let's see what they all think," Rachel said as she began adding some more decorations with the kids helping out.
Mesmerelda walked in and she instantly noticed the mistletoe and smiled, turning to her lover, who was right behind her. "Oh, Spells," she cooed at him.
"Yes, Elda?" He cooed back, a smile in his voice.
She grabbed hold of him and playfully leaned him back into a dancing dip before kissing him right on the mouth. Rachel, seeing this, quickly snapped a picture on her phone, giggling quietly and the children also giggled, finding it funny, especially when they saw how surprised Spellslamzer was.
The tall spell punk spotted the mistletoe and smirked before Mesmerelda gently pulled away and helped him stand up again. "Oh, that was sneaky, my love," he said before lifting her up in the air to make her squeal before he pulled her close and kissed her, holding her in his arms so that her feet were not touching the floor. She giggled as she loved when he did that as she loved how strong he was.
Rachel snapped another picture and sent them to the two personally through her phone. She did that for the other couples she saw too that got caught up in the festive tradition.
Head Rush had stepped in to help decorate, but as she dug into a box, she poked her head in and a mistletoe got caught on her horns so that when she pulled her head out after grabbing some garland, the mistletoe appeared over her head.
Krypt King saw this and started chuckling, making his lover look at him. "What's so funny, King?" She asked curiously.
"I think your horns decided to be part of the celebration too, my love," he said.
She gazed in a nearby mirror before she began laughing. "I guess so," she said before batting her eyes at him. He went over and kissed her soundly, making her blush and kiss him back lovingly.
"Oh!" A startled yell made them turn to see Persephone had also come to help and had fallen into another box of garland. Hood Sickle kneeled down to help her and just as he reached into the box, she popped up, still caught up in garland and a sprig of mistletoe just happened to be sitting innocently on a bit of garland that was on her head.
Chuckling, the Dark Sentinel Sensei kissed his lover breathless and she gazed at him lovingly. "The garland looks good on you, my fairy," he said teasingly.
The mood was joyful and the decorations, including all the mistletoe, were hung up and Rachel smiled before seeing her nieces come up to her, Flare holding Luna, Astrid holding Violet, and Viola holding Azula. "Aunty, can you deliver something for us?" Astrid asked.
The Tech/Fire Portal Master smiled. "You have a gift for someone?" She asked.
Nodding, the three older girls set their sisters down gently on the blanket at Rachel's feet and quickly ran off, coming back moments later with something in their hands. They handed it to her and Rachel saw it was a picture of the girls and Glumshanks, all hand drawn by the girls. She smiled. "Is this for Glumshanks?" She asked.
They nodded. "We wanted to give him a Christmas present, but we don't know what he likes," Flare said.
"So we drew this for him," Astrid said. "He's always nice to us."
Rachel nodded in agreement. The troll, despite working for Kaos, had proved that he would protect Blaze and Roller Brawl's children, even if it meant going against his master. And he had thanked the Portal Masters when Kaos' plans had gone south. "I'll take it to him, girls," she promised as she had planned to go over to the Kastle anyway to make sure Kaos would not interfere with their Christmas.
After a bit, she headed out and was about to use the dragon wings to get to the Kastle when a hand rested on her shoulder and she jumped, turning fast to see it was only Spellslamzer. She breathed a sigh of relief. "You startled me," she said.
"Sorry," he said. "Where are you headed?"
"To go decorate Kaos' castle so that he won't bother us," she said. "I'm going to put up so many decorations he'll be all day taking them down."
Spellslamzer chuckled before growing thoughtful. "What if they reappeared again every time he takes them down?" He said.
"What do you mean?" Rachel asked.
The tall spell punk gathered some magic in his hands. "Oh, just a simple spell," he said before chuckling. "You in?"
She grinned. "Oh, yeah," she said before growing thoughtful. "Can you make the spell last for at least a day?"
"I'll do you one better," he said. "Three days."
Rachel nodded. "Let's do it."
With the two of them working together, Kaos' Kastle was fully decorated and they could hear him yelling and peeked in to see him pulling off decorations that just kept appearing no matter what he did. Giggling, Rachel snuck away with Spellslamzer following her, chuckling as they landed safely outside. Glumshanks came up to them and looked a bit worried, but nodded. "Um, I'm guessing this will keep him busy for a bit," he said.
Rachel smiled before pulling out something from her pocket. "Some very special little girls asked me to deliver this to you," she said, handing it to him.
He took it and he was surprised to see it was a drawing of himself and the Fire/Undead/Water's Portal Master's young daughters and it looked like they were all dancing. He smiled and looked at Rachel. "Thank you," he said, blushing a bit as he had not received such a thoughtful gift before. He then pulled out a bag and looked at her. "Um, I got something for them too."
Rachel peeked inside to see it was plushies of snowmen and she smiled. "Oh, they'll love these," she said, looking at him. "I'll make sure they get them."
"Thank you," he said.
They heard Kaos scream again and Rachel looked at Glumshanks guiltily. "Sorry about the mayhem," she said.
"It's fine," he said with a smile, wincing a little when Kaos screamed again.
Rachel pulled out a pair of noise-canceling headphones and handed them to him. "Here," she said. "And don't worry about Kaos. He's going to be busy for a bit."
Glumshanks accepted the gift and hugged her, to her surprise. "Thank you for being so kind," he said. "Merry Christmas."
"Merry Christmas, Glumshanks," she said and Spellslamzer echoed her before they headed back to the Academy, meeting Blaze outside and he smiled.
"What were you two up to at the Kastle?" He asked curiously.
"Oh, just making sure Kaos was too busy to ruin our celebration and to give Glumshanks a couple of gifts," Rachel said. "Your girls made him a picture which he loved and I gave him some noise-canceling headphones so that he'll have some peace and quiet for a few days." She then held up the bag the troll had given her. "He even got the girls some snowmen plushies. Don't worry, Spells already checked them."
Blaze smiled. "He's really proven himself many times to be willing to help us," he said as Roller Brawl came up to them and they told her what happened.
"Maybe Glumshanks will officially join us one day," Rachel said.
"We can hope," Roller Brawl said, smiling before she gently tugged her man's arm. "Rachel, could you hand those plushies to the girls? I need Blaze for a moment."
"I'm sure you'll be busy a bit longer than a moment," Spellslamzer teased lightly.
"And we won't be, my love?" Mesmerelda asked, coming up behind the tall spell punk and hugging him, giving him loving eyes and making him gulp a little, but look at her lovingly.
"Don't worry, Blaze. Magna Charge and I will watch over the girls," Rachel said. "In fact, Speedlight and Autumn have been wanting to do a sleepover here at the Academy."
"Okay," Blaze said. "Thanks, Rachel."
"Anytime, my friends."
Roller pulled Blaze into one of the rooms at the Academy that they were staying in as she had already dropped off her daughters' things in Rachel and Magna Charge's room earlier. "Sit here, my flaming fire," she said, gesturing to the bed.
"What are you up to, my beautiful rose?" He asked, smiling.
"You'll see," she said before slipping behind the changing curtain and quickly getting into a red dress with white fur trim. The dress was strapless and left her arms and neck bare and she giggled, slipping on some white stockings.
"I hear giggling," Blaze said, smiling.
"Cause I know you'll like this outfit," she said. "Ready?"
"Ready," he said.
Roller Brawl stepped out from behind the curtain, smiling at her husband in a flirty way. He was surprised before he smirked. "Well, well, what's this?" He asked.
"Oh, my dear husband," she said cutely, walking up to him. "I've been very naughty this year."
"Have you now?" He asked, playing along. "Do I need to 'punish' you?"
She sighed and fell into his arms, smiling up at him. "Please do," she said, kissing him deeply and he did the same as they fell onto the bed, quickly getting lost in each other's eyes.
