This is my retelling of Mortal Kombat which is an entire hard reboot that will be retelling every story in the Original Timeline going from MK1 to MK Armageddon. This story follows the life of Sonya Blade, it flashing before her eyes as she plummets to her death at the end of Mortal Kombat 4. I've decided it's been 20 years, it could do with a "reboot". So I'm gonna slowly rewrite each chapter and flesh it out a bit more. I'm not changing anything, just slapping some paint and polish on it. The original will be saved somewhere for posterity

A fan made Mortal Kombat reboot, told through the perspective of Johnny Cage as he fights through the events of the Earthrealm and Outworld Tournament with Liu Kang, Sonya and Lord Raiden in order to save our world from the forces of evil.

Failing to prevent Armageddon, Raiden manages to reverse time by sending images back to his past self with hope for a different outcome to prevent the second coming of Armageddon. Hopefully, he and a new warrior will be able to help with that outcome and pave the way for a better future for all the realms.

Mortal Kombat...a thousand year old tradition that's been going on for centuries, and at every tournament there's young Kombatants that represents each realm, and they are taught the ways of Mortal Kombat through their teachers and former kombatants of the past.

Earthrealm is in grave danger, with Outrealm only one tournament away from gaining the right to invade, the protectors of Earthrealm stand ready for the toughest fight of their lives, expesially since Outrealm has decided to try and prevent the protectors from competing at all in order to ensure victory. (An adaptation of the 2021 Mortal Kombat movie.)

Summary: After a clone of Cassie Cage shows up in their bedroom one night, Cassie, Sonya and Cassandra (clone) bond in ways they never thought were possible.

IT HAS BEGUN! From Liu Kang's victory over Shang Tsung, through the return of Shinnok and Onaga, all the way to Armageddon, witness the re-imagining of the events of Mortal Kombat's original timeline with slight changes, more characters and perhaps going even further than where the story originally ended.
