I just wanted to do something small and simple for Christmas. It is nothing special as I only put this together in a day, so please excuse the not-so-stellar writing.

FYI, there is NO Olicity and WestAllen bullshit. I absolutely hate those relationships. For the sake of context, Barry and Caitlin got together in Season 3 and married in Season 4. No Season 5 Nora bullshit. Felicity went to prison for crimes in helping HELIX. Roy and Thea took William in when Oliver went to prison and got full custody after Oliver's death. Barry had a closer friendship with Oliver.

Allen-Snow Residence

"Now this is a holiday celebration," Cisco grinned as he and his girlfriend, Lisa Snart, brought out the champagne.

Caitlin was putting ornaments on the tree as she heard Cisco and looked at him amused. "Have you already gotten a head start on the booze, Cisco?"

"No, but it sounds like a great idea," Cisco replied as he set the bottles on the table and was immediately going for a couple glasses.

Lisa laughed at her boyfriend and kissed him on the cheek. "Just remember to pace yourself, babe."

"Please wait for the rest of our guests, Cisco," Barry told him as he was taking the sugar cookies out of the oven.

At the scent of the sugar cookies, Killer Frost emerged and quickly raced over to grab one. Barry could only roll his eyes fondly at her antics. Once Frost was satisfied, Caitlin resumed control of her body and made no hesitation of grabbing another one.

Cisco squawked. "What why does she get a head start? That is so unfair."

"One, she's my wife. Two, do you want to try and stop her?" Barry asked with a challenging look.

Cisco grumbled.

Caitlin gave him a smirk as she openly kissed Barry.

"Ew," Cisco said in disgust. "We get it you're married. Do that on your own time."

Barry gave him a deadpan look. "You mean like when I caught you two," he gestured to Cisco and Lisa with his index finger, "about to go at it in the med bay at Star Labs?"

Cisco turned beat red, and Lisa just laughed unashamed.

"Anyway," Barry announced loudly. "Food is done. Booze is here. Right now, we're just waiting for everyone else."

Immediately, there was a knock at the apartment door.

"Speaking of," Barry took off the oven mitts and apron as he went to open the door. Immediately as he did so he saw Roy, Thea, and William on the other side. Roy holding a few bottles of wine and Thea holding a couple of boxes with what Barry assumed to be pies.

Barry gave them a smile and moved out of the way to let them in. "You guys made it!"

"Yeah, sorry we're a little late. Traffic was crazy and the lines at the bakery and the wine shop were a little backed up," Thea said as her and Roy set the stuff on the counter. Thea hugged Barry and quickly kissed him on the cheek.

Roy walked over with an amused smirk and gave Barry a bro hug. "Didn't help that Thea was being very picky about which wine bottles to buy."

Thea smacked her husband on the shoulder. "It's important, and its Christmas.

Barry chuckled at their banter. Then he proceeded to give William a quick hug. "How are you doing, kid?"

William gave a tentative smile. "I'm alright. Thanks for having us, Uncle Barry."

"No problem."

Caitlin and Cisco walked up to them. "Roy! My man."

"Hey, Cisco," Roy chuckled as he shook his hand as Caitlin and Thea hugged.

Barry smiled as everyone was here. "Alright, everyone! Now let's get this started.

Everyone was sitting on the couches eating and drinking.

"I'm surprised Joe isn't here," Roy noted.

Barry nodded. "Yeah, him, Cecile, Jenna, Wally, and Iris are currently celebrating in Keystone City. Iris couldn't get away from work long enough, but they could. So, they made the trip."

"How are things with Iris?" Thea asked has she took a sip of champagne.

Barry tilted his head side to side. "We're on decent terms. The distance helped. It just took her a while to see that being around this life was no cakewalk and it would have been too much for her."

"It's one thing to be aware of the life you lead, it's another to be involved even marginally," Roy agreed.

Cisco snickered. "At least she is no longer calling you to save her as she jumps out of a high-rise window to escape some gunmen."

"Cisco!" Caitlin admonished him as Lisa slapped him on the chest.

Ralph, Roy, Thea, and William each widened their eyes.

"Wait, what?" William asked in astonishment.

"That happened?" Thea asked incredulously.

"Yeah," Barry admitted sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his head at that incident. "I may be the Flash, but that was still too big of a risk. Iris got very lucky."

"Damn, that sounds as irresponsible as Felicity's stunt with Tockman," Roy recalled.

Cisco grinned. "I believe you mean The Clock King."

Roy gave him a deadpan look that would make Oliver Queen proud. "I'm not calling him that."

Cisco threw his hands up. "Hey, I wasn't the one that named him that. Though it's not too bad."

"Still better than Ka-Boom Boomerang," Barry snickered as he remembered Cisco's first attempt at naming Digger Harkness.

At that Caitlin and Roy laughed as they had been there. Cisco just grumbled and Lisa chuckled at his misfortune.

"In my defense, that was only a first attempt as the guy was using exploding boomerangs," Cisco said as he refilled his champagne.

Barry laughed. "It was still too silly and way too on the nose."

"Silly?!" Cisco squawked in indignation. "Need I remind you that the name that Iris tried to give you was The Streak?"

"Ugh, please no," Barry groaned.

"Wait, so how did you get the name The Flash? Did you make it up?" William asked somewhat eagerly.

Barry gave a soft smile. "Actually, it was your dad that gave me the idea."

Roy, Thea, and William were shocked.

William asked in a softer tone, "Really?"

Barry nodded.

"When was this?" Roy asked, confused as to when that could have happened.

"It was when I was dealing with Clyde Mardon. My first confrontation with him didn't go too well. I was reconsidering getting involved in this life at all," Barry started telling them all as he remembered. "I ran to a rooftop in Star City. I gave him a call letting him know that I woke up from my coma and could use some advice. He was at the hospital as Lyla had just given birth. We met up. I told him everything."

"So, he just suggested a name for you?" Thea questioned as that would not sound like her brother at all.

Barry shook his head. "Not exactly. Oliver, for whatever reason, believed I was meant to get my powers. I was unsure that I could be like him, a vigilante. He said that I could be better. Saving people in a flash."

"I had no idea," William shook his head as he remembered back to a time when he idolized The Flash and he never knew of the impact his father had on Barry's career.

"Me either," Thea said quietly as she put a hand on William's shoulder and Roy shot William a consoling look.

The room suddenly got quiet as those that knew Oliver gave a moment of silence and Lisa, while she never met the Green Arrow, was told by Cisco of Oliver's sacrifice and was respectfully silent.

Barry looked at William and spoke in a firm tone of voice, "Oliver was the best man I ever knew. Not just because of his accomplishments as the Hood or the Green Arrow but because of who he was as Oliver Queen. When it came to people he considered friends or family whether it be me, Roy, Thea, or Sara, he never gave up. Truth is he was the one that was the best of all of us. Even after all of the hardships and darkness in his life, he did not become bitter and hateful, and did good until his final breath. In the end, Oliver was the real hero."

William nodded at him as Thea hugged him and gave Barry a grateful look and he replied with a smile.

Barry and Caitlin each wrapped one arm around each other's waist as Barry raised a glass. "Merry Christmas!"

Everyone shouted, "Merry Christmas!"

Afterwards, all of them gathered around the TV and watched the first two Die Hard movies to end the night.

The End

Happy Holidays to everyone!

Again, I apologize for the not-so-great writing. I hardly ever write and I rushed this quite a bit as I am hoping to do an MCU Christmas one-shot.

I originally wanted to have Ralph but I did not know how to work him in.

I owe a big thank you to Aragorn II Elessar for help in paying tribute to Oliver.
