It was currently nighttime in the old-fashioned town of Gravesfield. Most of it's residents were in their homes relaxing or fast asleep in their beds. But that wasn't the case for a pair of teens who would later go to a place of unimaginable things. In the center of a woods that was next door to the town, a teenage boy who appeared to be fourteen years old was standing in the middle of an open space that showed the night sky above. He had tan skin, light-blue eyes, short brown hair that was a bit messy, a green jacket over a black t-shirt that had a UFO image in the center, a pair of dark-blue straight trousers and black trainers with green highlights on them. This boy's name was Miguel Noceda.
Miguel tapped his foot on the ground impatiently before he took out his mobile phone and saw the time, which was 19:27.
"Come on, Prima, where are you?" Miguel asked himself. "At this rate, we're gonna miss the whole thing."
"Hey, Miguel!" A female voice called out.
Miguel looked to his side and he saw a Dominican girl that was his age rushing towards him. She had tan skin just like Miguel, but her hair was a much darker brown colour, she wore a bluish-purple and white hoodie with a cat-themed hood and a pair of white loafer shoes. This was Miguel's cousin, Luz Noceda.
"About time you got here, Luz." Miguel admitted as Luz finally caught up to him and they shared a quick hug. "I thought you wouldn't be here until midnight."
"Sorry, I just lost the way." Luz replied. "So, this is the place where you said this great event will happen?"
"That's right. In just a short amount of minutes, we'll be laying down and seeing an awesome meteor shower passing by in space." Miguel explained with an enthusiastic smile. "You're gonna love it, Prima."
"I'm sure I will, Primo." Luz said. "But, I doubt a meteor shower will be as great as Good Witch Azura."
"I still don't know why you're so in love with that cheesy, romantic witch novelty that's got too many noble stuff in it." Miguel muttered while shaking his head.
"How dare you!" Luz gasped in a fake angry tone. "You would see what a masterpiece it is once you gave it a read!"
"Not gonna happen." Miguel said simply.
The two Noceda cousins shared a laugh with each other for a small amount of seconds before they heard a beeping noise. Miguel looked at his phone and saw that a timer was going off on it.
"It's time! It's about to happen!" Miguel stated excitedly before grabbing Luz by the arm and dragging her to the grassy floor with him. "Get ready to watch, Prima!"
"Next time, warn me before you pull me to the grass." Luz said after recovering from her cousin's stunt.
"Lo siento, Luz." Miguel replied. "Now, keep watching the sky and prepare to be amazed."
The Noceda cousins kept their eyes on the star-filled sky above and waited patiently. Just then, the two of them saw a single bright light zoom through the sky and it was followed by a bunch more lights, showing they were indeed a meteor shower.
"Wow! Look at all of them!" Luz exclaimed in amazement, staring in awe at the meteors along with Miguel. "This is just as great as Good Witch Azura!"
"I told you that you'd love it." Miguel said.
"You sure did." Luz chuckled as they both watched the meteor shower for a few more seconds of silence. "Hey, remember when you, Tio Diego and Tia Maria first moved here?"
"Yeah, to help you and Tia Camila have a nice life after Tio Manny passed away." Miguel replied, gaining a solemn expression. "I know it was tough for you two to lose him. It was really bad for me and my family, too."
"I know. I'm just happy I got to meet you on that day." Luz said with a smile. "You've helped me with all my school projects, gotten me the greatest birthday and Christmas gifts, keeping all those school bullies off my back and throwing some amazing slumber parties."
"You don't need to say all of that. You've come up with some great things to make me happy, too." Miguel told her kindly.
"I know, but you're the best cousin a girl could ask for." Luz commented.
"Thanks, Prima." Miguel said.
"Anytime, Primo." Luz replied.
The two Noceda cousins looked back at the meteor shower, not knowing that something from space was about to change things a lot for one of them.

Things seemed to be very peaceful in space, until a small silver spaceship with green lights started flying a few meters above the Earth. It fired some lasers at a much more larger spacecraft that was chasing it from behind as this second ship was mainly rust-brown with some orange-glowing orbs and an extremely large cannon in the front area. Piloting the larger ship from the control station was a group of humanoid robots with black helmets and suits that were orange and black.
"Hull damage is at twenty-percent. But their system is still operational." One of the androids said.
The being he was speaking to was some kind of alien that resembled a humanoid squid. He had tentacles resembling a beard, green skin, sharp fingers, evil red eyes and he was wearing a dark-red and black suit.
"I have come too far to be denied! Fire everything at that pitiful ship!" The squid alien ordered in a menacing voice.
The giant spacecraft fired tons of lasers at the smaller ship, with some of the shots hitting it and causing some great damage.
"Their engines have sustained critical damage, Lord Vilgax. There is no hope for them to escape with your prize, now." A voice said as the squid alien saw that it came from an alien with white skin, black marks, red eyes, a fin-shaped horn on his head, and a black suit with some silver metal properties.
"Your loyalty never disappoints me, Psyphon." Vilgax replied. "Prepare the ship for a boarding assault. I want the Omnitrix, now!"
"At once, master." Psyphon said as he began approaching the controls.
But suddenly, the silver ship fired another powerful laser that hit the control station and caused a massive explosion that sent Vilgax and his minions flying back. Psyphon managed to endure the explosion and he pressed a button on the controls, firing a laser shot that completely destroyed the enemy ship. Suddenly, a small object was shot out of the front bud of the destroyed ship and it began descending down to Earth.
"That is what happens to those who stand against the mighty Vilgax." Psyphon said with a scowl before he turned around and was shocked to see Vilgax laying on the floor with half of his body blown apart. "Take our master to the recovery chamber, right now! He must live!"
Two Android soldiers rushed towards Vilgax and started escorting him out the room.
"No…I must…have…the Omnitrix." Vilgax whispered weakly, struggling to stay alive.
"I shall see to it that the Omnitrix is retrieved, master." Psyphon assured before activating a device on his wrist. "Send a Mechadroid to the planet the Omnitrix descended to, at once."

Back on Earth, Miguel and Luz had just finished watching the meteor shower and they stood up from the grass.
"That meteor shower was good while it lasted, but we really need to get home now." Miguel said.
"You said it, Primo." Luz agreed before she noticed something odd in the sky. "Hey, is that another meteor?"
Miguel followed his cousin's gaze and he saw that there was another meteor in the sky. It was also getting bigger as a sign it was descended down to the surface.
"It is. And I think it's heading…straight for us!" Miguel realised in shock and worridness.
"RUN!" Luz yelled fearfully.
The Noceda cousins immediately ran away from the area before the burning meteor crashed on the ground behind them, making both children get sent flying away from the explosion's force. They both crashed into some bushes and quickly emerged from them while rubbing some body parts in pain.
"Okay, I was not expecting that." Miguel groaned.
"Took the words right out of my mouth." Luz agreed as they both stepped out of the bushes. "I can't believe a meteor landed right in front of us."
"Technically, it crashes behind us while we were running for our lives." Miguel corrected.
They both approached the crater where the meteor had landed and they looked over the edge to get a better inspection. When Luz and Miguel looked into the crater, they saw the meteor was actually some kind of metallic capsule that was shaped like a sphere and there was some hot smoke emitting from it.
"Dios mio. What is that?" Luz asked with a surprised expression.
"I don't know, but it definitely isn't from Earth." Miguel replied.
"Hold on, you're saying that thing came from a world of aliens?" Luz questioned rhetorically.
"It's possible." Miguel said.
The Hispanic boy leaned in closer, only for the crater's edge to crack under his weight and make him fall down in front of the capsule.
"You okay, Miguel?" Luz asked.
"Yeah, it was just a simple stumble." Miguel assured before he looked at the capsule. "Still, this thing sure looks like something that was made by an alien."
Suddenly, the capsule opened up and Miguel stepped back in case anything would come out and attack him. But when he looked into the capsule, he saw that there was some kind of large black watch with a green hourglass symbol instead of a usual time-telling one.
"Is that…a watch?" Luz questioned as she slid down into the crater to get a closer look.
"Looks like it. But, I have no idea why a something like that would be from outer space." Miguel replied, slowly reaching towards the watch.
But suddenly, the watch jumped straight at Miguel and it attached itself around his left wrist, much to the Hispanic cousins' shock.
"Gah! Hey, get off me! Get off!" Miguel shouted as he tried to get the watch off, with little success. "Luz, give me a hand!"
"Right!" Luz stated.
She started pulling on the watch in an attempt to separate it from her cousin's wrist, but it wouldn't even budge.
"Get! Off! My! Primo's! Wrist!" Luz yelled with every tug.
"Forget it, Luz, this thing obviously doesn't want to come off me." Miguel said in defeat, causing his cousin to stop pulling.
"I still don't know why some space watch would latch onto you." Luz admitted.
"Don't know, don't care. I just wish there was a way to get it off." Miguel replied as he started touching the watch.
In just a few seconds, the main faceplate popped open when Miguel pressed a certain button and it started to display a silhouette of some kind of fire being.
"Woah, what's this?" Miguel asked curiously.
"Looks pretty interesting to me. I say you push down on that faceplate and see what happens next." Luz said, smiling eagerly.
"That idea might have an extremely dangerous outcome that could get both of us killed." Miguel said, causing a moment of silence in the atmosphere. "But, I'll do it anyway out of curiosity."
Miguel put his finger on the faceplate and it pushed back down to it's original place, a bright green flash bursted from the watch and Miguel began to feel his body change entirely. Almost like it was getting taller and hotter. When the flash went away, Luz opened her eyes after covering them and she gained an extremely astonished expression as she saw something different standing in her cousin's place. It was a tall fire being with a body made of red magma rocks, yellow lava emitting from the crack areas and a head that was literally on fire. The fiery being rubbed his head a bit to regain his focus.
"Bueno, eso fue inesperado." The fiery being said in Spanish, making Luz's eyes widen in surprise. "What even was that?"
"Mi-Miguel?" Luz asked while stuttering, earning her cousin's attention.
"Luz, what's wrong? You're looking at me like I've just hit a growth spurt." Miguel admitted confusingly.
"Well…not exactly." Luz said in nervousness before she brought out her own phone and switched to the camera setting, showing Miguel what he looked like in the reflection.
"Is that…me?" Miguel asked with a very stunned expression, earning a nod from his cousin. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!"
Miguel immediately ran out of the crater in a panic and he ran around like a crazy person.
"I'm on fire! I'm on fire!" Miguel yelled out. "This can't be real! Somebody put out this fire!"
"Miguel, calm down!" Luz called, emerging out of the crater and rushing to her cousin. "You're on fire, but you're still okay!"
Miguel ended up claiming down after hearing Luz's words and he looked over himself.
"Hey, you're right." Miguel realised. "I guess this kind of alien is meant to be on fire."
"You still think this whole thing is related to aliens?" Luz asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Positive. That watch came out of space and then it transformed me into this fire being when I pressed on it." Miguel said.
"Those are pretty good point. You're looking pretty hot, Primo." Luz joked, smiling coolly.
"No. Never do that again." Miguel replied with a blank frown.
"I thought it was comedy gold." Luz whispered.
"Still, I hope I'm not stuck like this." Miguel admitted in concern.
"Relax, Primo, I'm sure you and I can find a way to get you back to normal." Luz said assuringly.
"At least things can't get anymore crazy." Miguel commented.
But then, the Noceda cousins heard something above and they saw another burning projectile fall from the sky and land a few meters ahead of them.
"You totally jinxed the moment." Luz said.
"Quiet." Miguel replied.
They started to hear some loud thumping noises and the Noceda cousins tensed up a bit, not liking the sound of whatever was coming. Suddenly, the trees were shoved away and the two cousins were met with a large robot with red eyes, three legs and dark-orange colourings.
"Aaaaah! A giant robot from the future!" Luz screamed.
"It came from the sky just like the space capsule, so it's not from the future!" Miguel retorted.
The mechadroid scanned the area and it spotted the capsule within the crater bellow, until it then noticed Luz and Miguel. It spotted the hourglass symbol on Miguel's chest and it's sensors labeled him as 'target'.
"Luz, it's staring at me." Miguel said in worridness.
The mechadroid suddenly fired a laser from it's arm cannon, causing Luz and Miguel to immediately jump out of the way.
"That thing doesn't come in peace!" Luz exclaimed. "We need to go, now!"
"I'm with you, Prima!" Miguel agreed before he suddenly got grabbed by the mechadroid and was held up. "Hey, let me go! Drop me, you pile of metal!"
The mechadroid then slammed Miguel into the ground, causing a strong thud across the area.
"Miguel!" Luz cried out.
Her cousin could only groan in pain as he looked up to see the mechadroid aiming it's blaster at him with the intent to terminate him.
"No, don't kill me! I'm innocent!" Miguel begged while holding his hands forward.
But suddenly, a large beam of fire shot out of Miguel's hands and it blasted apart the mechadroid's arm, causing it to stumble back and stare at it's sparkling arm's remains.
"Did I…just do that?" Miguel asked in surprise, looking at his hands.
"Woah, Primo! You shot a fire blast!" Luz stated with a gleeful smile. "You have superpowers! Do it again!"
"Alright." Miguel nodded.
He quickly stood back up and shot another fire beam at the mechadroid, causing even more damage on it's chest and legs with every shot.
"Like some people say, always aim for the head!" Miguel stated before he fired one last fire beam at the mechadroid's head, blasting it to pieces before it had a chance to do anything.
The mechadroid then fell down and was completely offline, while Luz ran up to her cousin cheerfully.
"You did it, Miguel! You destroyed an evil robot from outer space!" Luz remarked.
"I sure did. Never knew I had it in me." Miguel said with a proud smile. "But, I wish there was a way I could turn back to normal."
Right after he said that, the hourglass symbol on his chest beeped red and released a bright red flash. Luz soon saw that Miguel had returned to his normal form once the light faded.
"Hey, I'm me again!" Miguel said in happiness.
"I guess that means you turn back into a human whenever the watch symbol makes a red beep noise." Luz said.
Just then, the Noceda cousins heard siren noises and realised that some cops were on their way.
"Time to go home!" Luz and Miguel said simultaneously before they ran away.
"So now that you have a watch that lets you turn into aliens, what're you gonna do with it?" Luz asked her cousin in curiosity.
"I'm not sure." Miguel replied, looking at his new alien watch. "I mean, I could possibly help make Gravesfield a better place by fighting criminals and assisting the people."
"Like a superhero!" Luz stated. "You could end up being the town's resident hero, Primo! That would be so cool!"
"A hero, Huh?" Miguel repeated interestingly. "That does sound like a pretty good idea."
"You said it. And no matter what, I'll be always have your back and stick with you to the end." Luz said kindly.
"Good to hear, Prima." Miguel said while giving her a friendly smile.
Now that Miguel Noceda had an alien watch that could let him transform into different aliens, things were definitely gonna be different for him and Luz now.

Back in space on the large spacecraft, Psyphon stood in front of Vilgax as the squid alien was seen inside a large tube with some medical wires attached to his decimated body.
"What do you mean it wasn't there?!" Vilgax asked in anger after being informed of what happened earlier. "This battle nearly costed me my life, and you say the Omnitrix was not in that container when you sent the mechadroid to retrieve it?!"
"The last footage from the mechadroid showed that the Omnitrix was already in possession of a creature from the planet below and he used it to become a Pyronite." Psyphon explained.
"And did he learn to use it's abilities?" Vilgax questioned.
"Indeed, Lord Vilgax. This human who now possesses the Omnitrix has proven to be a fast learner." Psyphon said while lowering his head respectfully.
"I see. It matters not, though. I will soon retrieve the Omnitrix from this meddling human and ensure that their lifeless body will hang on my trophy wall." Vilgax declared with a menacing glare. "Nothing will stop me from achieving my ultimate goal of ruling the universe."
This was only the beginning of this fantastic story.
Consider this my Christmas gift to all of you
